Hi Katya! Do you have any vintage photos or postcards of Moscow or St. Petersburg in the spring? I’ve been looking for a good phone lockscreen to match the nicer weather. I hope your spring is going well!!

Hi O! :) Here's what I posted over the years, Spring in Moscow, Spring in Leningrad (not much there). I'm transitioning into blossom mood--cherry trees are in bloom here as well as wild plums and bird cherry. I'll try to find some nice pictures to celebrate the season!

ETA: also, try searching [city name] + [month] for more results! Esp. for the month of May, I don't always tag it as spring.

📱 what do you think your f/o’s lock screen looks like?

aki and naoko:

alrightie very funny thing; they both have each other as their lockscreen but I do believe that while naoko has this super professional shot of aki smoking and being cool, he has the ugliest photo of her passed out after a studying session. she doesn't wear make up, her acne is at an all time high because she's stressed and her hair is a bird nest and you can see the obvious black in the blonde, because she hasn't had time to dye her hair.

cue to "pls tell me that you don't show this when your friends ask to see your girlfrend" and "why, it is so cute! you are wearing your glasses" "aki I stg if this gets out I am killing you".

katya and nagumo:

it changes on the period but most of the time it's photos of a very annoyed katya either giving him the bird or cover her face, although one that is his favorite is one of her staring down at him judgingly. it's scary to everybody but nagumo, who always giggles whenever he sees it (it's also her contact pic).

(although small disclaimer, I do believe this would be related only to the jcc arc because after they aren't in contact for a long time + I don't think that he'd believe it safe to have a picture of her on his own phone in case it was ever stolen).

🌈 do you think your f/o keeps little notes, photos, or mementos of you?

aki and naoko:

absolutely! I think that with csm being set in the '90s, it'd definitely heighten the feelings of things having to be kept, especially analogue reminders of their dates.

like I have this idea that he keeps the receipts to the places that they went to together and definitely uses them as reminders of 'this place was nice' or 'in this place naoko got stared down by the waiter'.

also again, I do think he does keep small sample of perfumes that naoko leaves at his place when she stays over when they are finished, it's both for practical reasons - so he can remember them for gifts purposes - and for affectionate one - it's the smell lingering of naoko.

katya and nagumo:

I'd like to say that he doesn't; as a trained assassin, I doubt that he is allowed to keep anything that could be used against him and although he openly pursues katya, he's fiercely protective of their past intimacy back then they were in the jcc.

still, he does have a few of their notes, chocolate wrappings and her writing words in russian for him, although they are under lock and key or on his own persona at all times.

🌞 does your f/o have any morning or bedtime routines?

aki and naoko:

as in canon, he does, although I'd like to say that with naoko's own presence it just intensifies; although naoko's carefree attitude, she's extremely methodical and I feel like she'd adapt well into aki's own routine although doing the opposite of what she does (he's in the bathroom, she's in the kitchen and viceversa).

a ritual though, it's always cleaning after together whether it's in the morning or evening, chatting up about the day ahead or just gone through.

katya and nagumo:

I also think that nagumo does have a night routine of sorts, as he's technical an assassin, of the esteemed kind and as much as they are probably trained to go throguh sleep dreprivation, I definitely believe that they also take advantage of all the sleep they can get.

I have to admit that I don't know that much about him but I definitely think that in any future in which he and katya are together, one thing that he does regularly is bother her while she's doing the crosswords or sudokus in bed, because he thinks it's cute.
