Wann beginnt so eine Riesen-Rad-Reise? Wenn man sich aufs Radl setzt und losfährt?

Wir finden es geht schon viel früher los. Jedes Ritual beginnt mit den ersten Vorbereitungen. Kekse backen ist eigentlich schon Weihnachten. Unsere Reise hat vor vielen Jahren begonnen, als einer gefragt hat: Fährst du mit mir ein paar Monate mit dem Rad weg? und die andere geantwortet hat: Nein, sicher nicht!

Wir haben festgestellt, dass wir beim Radeln auf mehreren Ebenen reisen. Äußerlich, duch Landschaften und Begegnungen und innerlich, durch unserer Wandlungen, die unterwegs passieren. Die äußerlichen Reisen lassen sich gut durch Bilder dokumentieren. Unsere inneren Reisen werden für uns durch unsere Gespräche erfahrbar. Darum wird es hier Bilder, aber auch die eine oder andere Podcastfolge geben, wo wir Gespräche vom und zum Unterwegs sein aufzeichnen.

Eine der schönen Seiten an dieser Art zu reisen ist, dass man weitgehend unter dem Radar unterwegs ist. Kein Mensch weiß wo man gerade ist und was man gerade macht, das fühlt sich schon sehr frei an. Drum kann man uns nicht tracken und die Beiträge hier sind wie ein zwischendurch Auftauchen, bevor wir wieder abtauchen in unsere eigene Reisewelt.

Wie oft wir Lust, Laune und Internetverbindung dafür haben, das wird sich im Laufe der nächsten Wochen und Monaten herausstellen.

Der Start am Rad ist am 3. April am Semmering. Am 8. April gibt's noch ein "Winkewinke" auf der Donauinsel, quasi Bescherung.
