Home Is Where The Love Is – Aubrey Posen/Beca Mitchell/Calamity/Chloe Beale/Gail Abernathy/Katherine Junk/Kommissar
A/N: Fic 3/3 for @fourormore 's Ficathon.
It starts when Katherine’s husband leaves her. The two had been running out of time in their relationship as it was but finding Aubrey had been the final straw. He had refused to keep her trapped, letting her go and leaving the house to her, so she could move her lover, or lovers, in. He had never asked if it was only Aubrey, choosing to let his now ex-wife be happy. Calamity and Kommissar are the first to move in, decorating their rooms to suit their styles. Australia and Germany were far enough away both women found they were more than happy to let life move on. Gail had been next, choosing to settle as simply Gail Junk, marrying Katherine to stay with her and have a space for the girls to love and live safely. She’s content, here, moved into Katherine’s bedroom, changing the lighting only a little. Beca and Chloe join them soon enough preparing their own bedrooms and Aubrey’s, the girl the last to actually enter the home. She had been busy, packing up her work with the Lodge and moving her belongings from not just the Lodge but also her flat she had kept for so long. It’s only when they are fully settled, Aubrey nestled between her lovers, that it feels right.

You know why I don't celebrate anything to do with the space race or the moon landing?
Fucking Nazis.
America sold its soul to win the space race against the Russians by giving Nazis like Wernher von Braun, Hubertus Strughold and Walter Schreiber a pass, and using the 'research' based off torturing, terrorising and murdering innocent prisoners during WWII in the most horrific way possible.
America's victory in space was built on the corpses and torture of millions in concentration camps, and rather than punish these Nazi scientists for their crimes, they were applauded because it helped them win the space race.
And I don't want to hear any 'but Teddy, if we hadn't won the space race, Russia would have won and we'd have ended up in a war we couldn't win!'
We do not KNOW that. But even if that is true, it is still incredibly evil to promise literal Nazis a free pass just because it helps America plant a flag on the moon.
Doing something evil for the sake of winning is still evil.
It would have been one thing if America had recognised this then and publicly acknowledged this. And discussed it in their education with children.
If they'd said to the world, 'we're doing this horrible thing because we believe it will avoid war, but these evil Nazis will go to prison after they help us win the space race [spoiler alert, they did not]. We must recognise the damage and horror that got us here, and recognise that we had to get in bed with the devil to win this, and for this we are ashamed.'
They didn't do that. They've never even acknowledged it. Those Nazis walked away heroes for ‘saving’ America.
And they didn’t even acknowledge the efforts of Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson and Dorothy Vaughan- the incredible Black women without whom NASA could probably never have done anything. It’s barely acknowledged now. But it is a fact.
This isn’t conspiracy theory bullshit. This is real, literal history. Actual factual history. And children are not taught this in schools. They’re just taught The Great ~Achievement~ made by white men in America.
So.
Fuck Nazis.
Fuck America, France and Britain (and everywhere else) for giving Nazis a free pass just because it was convenient for them.
Fuck the space race.
Fuck the moon landing.
Fuck the education faults of the space race.
Fuck the white washing of Black women who got them there, treating the women like shit, and not even acknowledging their achievements.
Fuck America for getting in bed with literal Nazis and not even educating their own people on this shameful history.
Fuck all the 'science' that was built off the torture and mass graves piled high with corpses of people in concentration camps from Nazis.
Fuck the moon landing.
youtube
Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
#fuck the moon landing#fuck the space race#fuck america#britain and france and everywhere else for using Nazi 'scientists' to their advantage with all that blood on their hands#nazis won the space race and there's no other way you can spin it#doing evil things does not justify your actions even if it's for the 'greater good'#operation paperclip#fuck nazis#fuck america for getting in bed with the nazis#this isn't conspiracy theory shit this is actual documented history#holocaust#at lest 6 million Jews died in the holocaust#5 million more who were targeted for other reasons died in the holocaust#nazis#american empire used Nazi scum to win the space race and that is why there should be no 'moon landing day' or celebration of space race#by the way the Nazis policies were based off the Jim Crow policies so of course america welcomed nazis#they should have recognised publicly the cost to win the space race back then but should at least do it now#also the financial cost of sending people to space when we are killing the planet and have so much inequality down here is disgusting#that money could have gone to helping people live and get medical attention and support#hollow victory for the price#ps do you know how much junk we have left in space#at least 3000 dead satellites alone#plus over 34000 pieces of junk over ten centimetres alone#no really it’s a huge awful problem so much debris in space Look it up#Katherine Johnson#Mary Jackson#Dorothy Vaughan#moon landing#moon landing day

MSR Drabble: The Little Things
Word count: 350+
***
It’s in the little things.
“Can I borrow this?” Scully asks.
She twists her torso, leaning out from the shadow of his bookshelf to show him the academic text she’d plucked from his collection.
Mulder props himself up on the couch cushions, his elbow becoming an easel support for his chin, so he can better study her. There are two types of mysteries always in his life; the ones found in his files played out in front of him, and the one Scully always poses.
Sometimes they intertwine like lovers’ hands.
“Sure,” he says. “Keep it.”
It’s one of the psychology books from his MA year. He hasn’t had a need for it in years, knowing every word by heart from just a skim.
She rolls her eyes at him. “If I actually kept every book I borrowed from you, all your books would eventually find their way to my shelves.”
Mulder’s smile is a Cheshire grin, lazy and slow to bloom.
“I know,” he says. “I take it as a compliment to my taste in reading material.”
And he hopes that one day he might be able to slip in with the last volumes. Like a cat finding its way home with familiar things, to curl up unnoticed until she won’t want to get rid of him.
Scully wrinkles her nose on principle. “Maybe not,” she corrects softly, turning her profile to him to run a finger across spines on a particular shelf. “I wouldn’t want to keep your paranormal junk.”
Liar.
Dana Katherine Scully is a little liar, he thinks fondly.
She hides it well, misdirects with the way she turns his psychology and profiling book collection into her own private library to lend from. But he has heard her quote enough of his books on witchcraft, alien abduction, and all things paranormal; has found enough of his books on the topic mysteriously missing and mysteriously returned again exactly a week later, to know that she is reading through even the texts she scoffs at.
For him.
It’s in the little things.
But it’s little great things like this, the disappearance of his books, the way she picks him apart through the words on his shelves, in his head, that she gives away she loves him.
#txf#msr#fic#drabble#I don't usually post anything this short but#these types of little observations by them about the other keeps popping into my head so here we are#thanks for reading#fox mulder#dana scully#the x files

THE BEST FICTION I ENCOUNTERED IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2024!!
Due to what I feel is the most in my wheelhouse re: ability to give a critical defense or determine artistic quality, and also so I won't be here ALL DAY, this list will include books, comics, interactive fiction, and one short video webseries I really liked. It will not include movies, TV shows, non-IF games, or nonfiction, although I do also enjoy/partake in those things.
Everything on this list was new to me this year with the exception of the comic strip Junk World; however, Junk World released as a zine fairly recently, and I forgot to mention it on my end of 2023 list, so I feel fine putting it here. "New to me" does not mean something necessarily released this year, so I have put the year of release in parentheses next to the work where I know the year of release. A couple of these books haven't actually come out yet (I read ARCs); I've noted that when describing them and they will also be on the end-of-year list so people don't forget about them. : )
--------------------
Novels and Novellas!
Cuckoo, by Gretchen Felker-Martin (2024): This is a blisteringly angry book: a constantly burning blow torch pointed at homophobia, transphobia, and, especially, the pervasive scourge of hidden, ignored, and socially approved child abuse. Yet Cuckoo has great tenderness for its immensely damaged protagonists, and also takes the time to flesh out and empathize with some of its odious antagonists. This nuanced characterization provides a necessary counterpoint to the rage that fuels the novel, and makes it more moving and memorable than most other politically charged, hyper-violent works of fiction. There are quiet moments of connection and sorrow that are going to stay with me far longer than the scenes of dynamite explosions and shoot outs with shrieking, starfish-faced cops.
Failure To Comply, by Cavar (comes out in August 2024): Reading Cavar’s Failure to Comply, I couldn’t help but think of the recent David Cronenberg movie Crimes of the Future. Both deal with dystopias in which bodies and their modification are strictly regulated, and people with unauthorized bodies form a vibrant, perpetually imperiled subculture on the margins. Both use this conceit to speak metaphorically about the plights of trans and disabled people, although Failure to Comply’s characters are also presented as literally, textually disabled and trans. But, although Crimes of the Future is often accused of being a “weird movie,” Failure to Comply is undeniably much, much weirder. Cronenberg is super normal compared to this.
Maej, by Dale Stromberg (comes out in September 2024): a doorstopper I found difficult to put down and finished inside a week; a work of very unapologetic genre fiction that’s equally unapologetic in its intelligence and dedication to doing strange, creative things with language; a high fantasy story I actually liked. The setting is the city of Sforre-Yomn, in the country of Hwoama, whose culture combines elements from across the continents of Asia and Europe. But Hwoama is matriarchal: men are subordinate to women, who dominate politics, business, the military, and nearly all other professions. As a result of this fact, almost all the major characters in the novel are female. By turns this presents a fun, simple, mischievous inversion of maleness as the unmarked default state for fictional characters, and meaty commentary on the social construction of sex, sexuality, and gender. Stromberg has cited Le Guin as an influence on Maej and, in the most complimentary way possible, this influence is evident.
Wrath Goddess Sing, by Maya Deane (2022): I listened to the audiobook version, read by the lovely voice of Katherine Pucciarello, so I can't vouch for whether I would have enjoyed the novel (as much) in text form. However, the audiobook was an engrossing tale of bronze age sandal, sword, and sorcery. Although it is based on the story of Achilles, readers who want a very po-faced historically or mythologically faithful retelling would be wise to look elsewhere; that said, I for one have little interest in retellings that do not bring a lot of new stuff to the table, so I was happy with all of the strange, interesting, surprising directions this one went. I loved the bizarre, often horrific depictions of the gods; this book really captured the feverish, molten, giddy, and terrifying feeling that accompanies magic and spiritual encounters in real life. Like I said, this is essentially a lavish work of epic sword and sorcery, and I think it is best to set one's expectations through that lens.
More Bugs, by Em Reed (2024): A slow-paced existentialist character study/slice of life about a cynical, depressed butch woman going through a quarter-life crisis after circumstances force her to move back to her sleepy central Pennsylvania hometown and back in with her disapproving mother. Also a f/f age gap romance. Also a magical realist/sci-fi story about shapeshifting alien beings. It's unique, and I connected with it a lot.
Read and Then Burn This, by Rysz Merey (2024): Ah, young love! Have you ever been nineteen, shallow, insecure in your art, inexperienced in the world, and making poor sexual decisions? Haven't we all. This is a book about that. I find the relatively small scale of the proceedings, and the emotional numbness/constipation of the characters, makes this feel all the more sordid.
The Woods All Black, by Lee Mandelo (2024): This one has a couple flaws that bugged me while I was reading, but it's a revenge-horror romance story about two trans guys (or arguably: a trans guy and a butch) in 1920s Appalachia and it has blisteringly hot, graphic sex scenes of both the "regular" and the "monsterfucking" variety, so-- pretty much impossible for me not to enjoy overall! I thought the depiction of how 1.) people in the past conceived of transness differently than most people do today, and 2.) different trans people often conceive of their own transness differently, even if their embodiment is very similar, was nuanced and quite well done.
Short Story Collections!
Grime Time, by Ivy Grimes (2023): Some of the oddest short fiction I've read in ages! Grimes' surreal stories tend to be very brief, and they're almost always impossible to categorize. They deal heavily with ambivalence and ambiguity, two of my favorite things, and often end up unsettling the reader not because of anything particularly ominous or awful that happens in the narrative, but because it's very unclear what actually has happened, how the protagonist feels about it, and how the reader ought to feel about it. The definition of "really makes you think!" Grimes' prose is simple and clear, with minimal description, yet very distinctive. Often reminds me of Leonora Carrington.
White Cat, Black Dog, by Kelly Link (2023): Predictably enough, another all-bangers instant classic from Link. These stories are all based on fairy tales, with some following the original fairy tale quite closely and others taking very loose inspiration from the fairy tale or mixing and matching with elements from different tales. My personal favorite, the standout in an excellent collection, was "Prince Hat Underground," which is a really beautiful story about being in a long term relationship with someone you love but don't always get along with or understand, about accepting the inevitability of death and loss, and about what a fairy tale romance looks like when the people in the fairy tale romance are middle aged men on the cusp of old age, rather than wide-eyed young people.
Individual Short Stories!
"The Earth and Everything Under," by K.M. Ferebee (2014) is a slightly grotesque, surreal, fairy tale-like novelette about grief and witchcraft. I strongly suggest you read it at the link.
"The Clown Watches the Clown," by Sara S. Messenger (2024) is also slightly grotesque, surreal, and melancholic; it's about a young person in a space opera cyberpunk future who's caught in a rut. Again, you can and should read it at the link.
"The Evening and the Morning and the Night," by Octavia Butler (1987) has been anthologized in a few places and shouldn't be too difficult to track down, but I'd never read it before. It's an incredible work of sci-fi that deals with mad liberation/disability justice and also with (as in much of Butler's work) the idea of biology as destiny: to what extent are we at the mercy of our bodies and instinctual drives, and to what extent do we have the power to decide what we'll do with them? How do the stories we tell about certain kinds of bodies and medical conditions affect our ability to see that potential for choice, for agency, or just for things to turn out in a different and better way?
Comics!
Kiara's Junk World rules. I love the skillful inking, the cute animal characters, the playful and sardonic wit, the erudite references.
Interactive Fiction!
In a.c.d's The Beach That Makes You Old, you have to help a patient trapped in an evil hospice/psychiatric facility. (2024)
In K.A. Tan's Labyrinth, you play as the Minotaur, on the last day of his life. (2024)
Both games are free to play, with a play time of about forty-five minutes to an hour if you want to get all the endings/explore every aspect of the narrative. If you've never experienced interactive fiction before, it takes no special gaming skill: you just click through different links!
Video!
Mr. Samuel's Teatime Stories, dir. Yara Asmar (2024) is a distorted, Lynchian faux-children's show. Unlike, say, Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared, the tone is much more eerie, elegiac, and somber-- or, occasionally, surprisingly sweet-- than darkly comedic and satirical (which isn't to say there are no jokes or funny moments). I found it really moving by the end.

Chapter 29
Warnings: 18+readersonly, Doctor kink, pet names, oral, smut
Copyright: I do not own any Marvel characters or locations. However, I do own a few OCs like Elizabeth, Katherine, Stacy, and Jessie. I do not condone any copying of this.
A month later and you guys were opening up the pool. The kittens were curled up with the bunnies fast asleep in the air-conditioned kitchen. Your puppy- which Stephen had dubbed 'Ginny' because of her red colouring- was running around outside with Bucky, Sam, Rhodey, Clint, and Steve as they tossed a frisbee back and forth.
All of the bedrooms in the house were completely furnished to each persons liking, along with a few rooms that were left empty as they would eventually be your childrens' rooms.
You knew they were all excited for kids- any kids- and you were all waiting patiently.
At the moment, you were all waiting for Wanda, Vision, Pietro, Elizabeth, Hogun, Jessie, Katherine, Nat, and Bruce to show up. They were going to be staying with you guys over the summer- well for the most part.
The guest rooms were already prepared.
You set out a tub of twizzlers, knowing Elizabeth loved those. There was a bunch of plain junk food out on the table as well. The pool looked cool and inviting. And everyone was having a really good time.
Suddenly, the water was swirling upwards, turning into shapes in the water. You looked around, but didn't see Elizabeth until the group came walking around the side of the house before the pool water crashed back into the underground pool.
She grabbed a twizzler before she hugged you. "Hey Y/N! Beautiful house. Very Tony."
You grinned, "How was the last year of school?"
"Fine. I cried when I graduated. I'm still debating schools though. I really don't want to go to school in New York." Elizabeth said, wrinkling her nose. "I was thinking about Florida instead. They have some good med schools down there."
You nodded. "I mean, just because your soulmates are here doesn't mean you have to go to school here. I think if you really want to go to Florida, that's what you should do."
Suddenly, Elizabeth squealed, running backwards to avoid Ginny that had come running towards her.
Shoot, you had forgotten that she was terrified of dogs.
You quickly scooped Ginny up in your arms, the puppy flailing as she tried to keep running to greet the new person that she had seen.
Elizabeth calmed down some, seeing how tiny and adorable the puppy really was. "She doesn't bite, does she?"
"She might nip you when she's excited, but she's very sweet." you said.
Elizabeth had been at a party when she was younger. A dog at the party had bit into her brothers' face, ripping a chunk out of it and he'd had to be taken to the hospital. Needless to say, that was where Elizabeth's fear of dogs were. Funnily enough though, her brother Daniel still put his face in front of dogs, absolutely loving every animal came across. He got bit a lot.
Elizabeth tentatively petted Ginny's head before turning to the food table.
"We also have two kittens and two bunnies." You said.
"Oh?" Elizabeth was more excited about this prospect. "Can I see them?"
You led her into the kitchen, Ginny running towards Pietro now. Elizabeth absolutely loved Cinni bun and Boba, petting them with enthusiasm on her face. She was a little wary of the kittens, but she liked Alpine and Mini Loki all the same.
Yes, Loki named his kitten Mini Loki. Well actually, he had called him Loke, but Thor had told you that was Asgardian for Loki, so the cats name was just Mini Loki.
Fury was in the kitchen, keeping a scrutinizing eye on Mini Loki and Alpine, Maria sitting next to him, looking absolutely amused. Coulson on the other hand looked equally terrified of the cats as Elizabeth had Ginny.
You two headed back outside where Nat, Bruce, Katherine, and Jessie had joined the rest of you. Katherine brought up karaoke, to which Elizabeth laughed and said, "Why not?"
"I can think of a thousand reasons." You mumbled under your breath.
"What are you guys going to sing?" Steve asked in interest.
"We didn't start the fire." Elizabeth said casually to which you spit out your drink.
"You're kidding!" You yelped.
Elizabeth grinned wickedly while Y/S/N laughed on the other side of her.
"Not at all," Elizabeth said, "In fact, I've been practicing to add in a new verse as well. Mind you, I didn't write it, so I can't take the credit, but it's pretty good. There should be more than verses though, to include the Asgardians, I think."
"I can't believe you're singing that, I'm not taking any part in it." You said firmly. You couldn't believe they were going to sing a song about the Avengers, in front of the Avengers.
Elizabeth just smiled, nodding to Jessie who looked just as horrified as you, while Katherine had a hand over her mouth to hide her smile.
You put a hand over your face so that you couldn't see the others, already getting second hand embarrassment as the song started to play. Natasha, who seemed to be the only one there who knew what this song was about, was in the background, making sure she got to film all of their faces.
Elizabeth threw you one last wink before she started to sing:
Tony Stark, Iron Man, Nick Fury has a plan Big shock, Pepper Potts, Arc Reactor Core
Y/S/N took the alternating verse.
Asgard, ancient war, Loki, and his brother, Thor Bruce Banner, radiation, transformation, roar
Elizabeth:
Coulson and Maria HIll, they're the Agents of SHIELD Clint Barton, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Russian spy
Y/S/N:
Captain Rogers, World War II; Bucky, Peggy, I love you First Avenger, here we go, everyone assemble!
Jessie and Katherine joined in for the chorus:
We didn't start the fire, it was always burnin' since the world's been turnin' We didn't star the fire No we didn't light it, but we're tryin' to fight it
Jessie:
Obadiah, Blonsky, Whiplash, Laufey Red skull, Hydra, Arnim Zola, Loki
Katherine:
Battle for humanity, Stones of inifinty: Space, time, soul, mind, power, and reality
They all looked at you and you sighed, taking the microphone from them. You might as well.
War Machine, Falcon spin, Bucky Barnes is back again Star Lord, Gamora, too, Drax, Rocket,
Elizabeth:
I am Groot!
You:
Vision, Mantis, Nebula, Ultron in Sokovia Civil war, Ant-man, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-man Doctor Strange, Ragnarok, Henry, Janet, and the Wasp Black Panther in Wakanda, Shrui, Okoye, and Killmonger Captain Marvel, Goose the Cat, Flying higher, further, faster Thanos and Infinity War, I can't take it anymore!
All of you:
We didn't start the fire It was always burnin' since the world's been turnin' We didn't start the fire No we didn't light it, but we're tryin' to fight it
Elizabeth, "And here's the optional verse:"
Daredevil in the night, Jessica Jones joins the fight, Luke Cage in the mist and don't forget Iron Fist, Cloak and Dagger, Punisher, Inhumans, Ghost Rider, Runaways, Helstrom, Eternals, and even Wong. Shang-Chi joins the jive. Just you wait 'till Phase 5 When Reed, Sue, Johnny, Blade, Ben And Deadpool will be back again!
"Oi that was good." Katherine said as the music ended. Elizabeth grinned.
"Wait, what exactly was that?" Bucky asked.
"It was a song." Loki said with a grin, "A song where I got put before my brother. I like that song."
Elizabeth winked at Loki, "About time, right?" Then she addressed Bucky, "There's this group of singers called the 'Marvel Bunch' and they will make songs about you guys all the time. That one is the most popular one."
"How did none of us know about this song?" Fury demanded.
"I knew about it." Nat said nonchalantly. "Listen to it all the time."
You grinned, shaking your head.
"Why am I not mentioned in it?" Pietro pouted.
"Sorry speedy." Elizabeth said, ruffling his hair. "Maybe I'll ask them to make a part 2 and they'll add you that one."
Jessie leaned over to me, "Did we break the fourth wall?"
"Probably." You muttered back.
While Loki was still giddy from the line 'Loki and his brother Thor', everyone else mostly settled down, returning to the normal party. They did keep Elizabeth singing a stream of songs, mostly Meghan Trainor as that was the pitch she was good at. Elizabeth really seemed to be enjoying herself too.
Over the next few days, you and Elizabeth really reconnected. She liked helping out all over the house, and suddenly it seemed as though there were no chores. The dishes always seemed to be done, the laundry was always going and hung up on a line outside, and the animals were always taken care of. She especially loved the greenhouse, tending to the plants inside.
She also liked announcing her ideas aloud, usually with just you, telling you everything you could do with the house.
For example, two weeks after she had arrived, she brought you around your entire backyard, telling you (and Stephen who was trailing behind you guys) about what you could do with the land.
"Here would be a great place to put a barn." She said, motioning to the area, "You could keep your goats, cows, pigs, horses, and definitely the animal feed in it. Well, maybe not the pigs, that would be up to you guys. They could also stay in a pen with a separate sort of house. And then over here you could have a large chicken coop with both egg chickens and meat chickens. And then over here, this would be a great place to set up a apple orchard. Maybe peaches and cherries too. Grapevines could go here, and this patch over here would be great for Watermelons. . ."
She had grown up in Ohio for her entire life, her family was descendants of a farm. She knew your house and the backyard better than you did.
"Anyways," Elizabeth said, still chipper and excited, opposed to your exhausted self. "It's all just ideas, but I really think being self-sufficient would pay off in the long run. You could grow your own food and make homemade instead of always having to run to the store to buy food. Saves money on food and gas. Although, I don't think it actually matters considering Tony probably pays for everything."
"Everyone chips in when it comes to that sort of thing." You said. "Tony handles the bigger bills. We pay the utilities and the taxes and groceries and stuff like that. We're immortal so we don't want to run out of money."
"Should invest in the stock market and land." Elizabeth said immediately. "Land always goes up in value. Maybe you should buy some houses. Buy, renovate, and then make a profit off of them."
"You should go into business." You said.
Elizabeth made a face, "I hate business."
You laughed, "Well, you're damn good at it."
"Hey! What are you guys up to!" Tony greeted you guys, kissing you on the lips, then Stephen.
"Elizabeth has been teaching us how to run a farm." Stephen said warmly.
"Why would we need to run a farm? We can just buy food at the grocery store?" Tony asked.
"Growing your own food is healthier for you." Elizabeth said. "For one thing, you don't know if the food you're buying in the store has GMOs in it, not to mention all wheat products are genetically modified."
"So we find a producer who doesn't genetically modify their wheat." Tony said, rolling his eyes.
Elizabeth grinned, "Good luck with that. Bill Gates owns 75% of all of Americas farms. He's pumping GMOs into all the crops now, including fruits and vegetables now."
"How do you know all this? You should go into business." Tony said, narrowing his eyes at her.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Seriously? Doesn't anyone here watch the news? There's been several reports after the last couple of years about Bill Gates buying up family farms and then the farmers are committing suicide because they've lost their legacy and their life's' purpose. It's really sad."
"Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a farm." Pietro said, coming out of nowhere like usual. "You want a farm Princessa?"
Elizabeth blushed at the nickname and then deadpanned, "Obviously."
Pietro grinned and then they were both gone with a whoosh.
"She's an interesting girl." Tony muttered, wrapping his arms around you, leaning his forehead on your shoulder, "Are we starting a farm?"
"I have no idea." You laughed. "Let's settle into the house completely first."
Tony started to kiss your neck and you felt Stephen move in slightly behind you. "Well, we could settle mine and Stephen's bedroom. . . again."
You giggled. "It's the middle of the afternoon."
"Perfect time." Stephen murmured lowly behind you. You could feel his lips behind your ear as he kissed down the other side of your neck.
The two of them guided you through the house and upstairs to Tony and Stephen's shared bedroom. It was a mix of a library and a work space at the same time, with personal affects in the colours of red and blue.
By the time Stephen had closed the door behind him, Tony had already gotten rid of your shirt, which you kicked to the side as you lifted his shirt over his head. You could feel Stephen behind you, pulling your pants down as Tony connected your lips together.
You wrapped you arms around his neck, discarding the jeans to the side. Tony carried you over to the bed, tossing you on it. All three of you were naked in seconds before the other two crawled up on the bed, on either side of you.
"Come here." Stephen demanded, on his knees. You were on your hands and knees, taking his length into your mouth. You could feel the bed dipping around behind you as Tony did whatever he wanted.
You sucked on Stephen's tip as you felt Tony pull your hips down, before you felt his warm breath below your pussy. You felt his tip lick through your folds before you groaned on Stephen's prick. You went as far as you could, sucking him hard, licking around his length as you pulled back up, bopping your head up and down.
Tony's hands tightened on your thighs as they started to shake. Stephen now had his hands in your hair, holding you there as you probably would've pulled away with the encroaching orgasm.
You moaned on Stephen's length, warning them as the orgasm started to wash over you, Tony adding two fingers to the sensation, sucking your clit.
"Fuck." You cursed on Stephens' cock, vibrations shooting through his length as you moaned.
"Shit darlin'." Stephen muttered, gripping your hair even tighter, quickly pulling off of you. Tony pulled away from your pussy as well, turning right-side up again.
You moved backwards on the bed as Stephen arranged himself so that he was laying on his back. Then you moved forwards again so that you could settle yourself over his thick prick, maneuvering yourself down onto it with a low moan.
"Fuck, your cunt is so tight darling." Stephen groaned, his arms wrapped around your hips before he started fucking up into you. You could still feel Tony's lips and hands, caressing and kissing along your shoulders and down your back, before his hands moved around to grasp your breasts, nipples twisted between his thumb and pointer finger.
"Do you want me to join next to Stephen baby girl? Want me to fuck your tight little pussy with the handsome doctor, hmm?" Tony asked quietly in your ear, just loud enough for both you and Stephen to hear, both of you groaning at his dirty words.
"Fuck daddy." You whined. "Please."
"You heard her bubs." Stephen growled as he thrusted up into you before letting his hips settle down.
Tony moved, pushing you down so that your breasts came in contact with Stephen's warm chest. Stephen put his hands on either side of your face, kissing you as Tony pushed in next to him.
You moaned, used to being stretched out, especially with Thor, Lokes, and the three super soldiers. So there wasn't as much pain as there might have been under normal circumstances.
But really? What about your life was normal?
Once Tony had bottomed out, the two of them gave you a moment, alternating kisses on your back or your front, before they started to move again.
They moved opposing each other, one pushing in while the other pulled out. Ensuring that they hit several different sweet spots at the same time.
Your eyes rolled back in your head as they continued to pound you relentlessly, limp in their arms with seemingly no control over your body.
"That's a good girl." Tony praised you in your ears when you came on their cocks. He slipped from you, letting Stephen continue to ruin your cunt while he started pressing fingers into your ass.
You whined, feeling the slight, sharp pain of him prepping you for anal. No matter how many times, no matter what size, it always still hurt whenever they prepped and started you out for the back end. You had a very tight asshole.
Stephen distracted you from the pain, one hand fondling your breasts, the other teasing your clit as he fucked you slower with harder thrusts that sent your eyes rolling into the back of your head, toes curling as a second orgasm started to approach.
"So good darling." Stephen mumbled just as Tony thrusted into your ass. You clenched down so tightly on Stephen's cock, he actually came right then and there, "Shit! Fuck Y/N!" He shouted. Tony let out a huff that might've been a laugh.
Stephen thrusted lightly a few more times before you came as well, milking all over his prick. And Tony who had already been worked up from before released into your ass.
The three of you collapsed on the bed, curled in each others arms.
"See?" Tony mumbled sleepily, his head resting in the crook of your neck, "Wasn't to early for shit."
Stephen groaned, opening up a portal so that he didn't have to get out of bed to grab a washcloth, wiping up the remnants over everyone's release from your thighs, making sure that you were alright before he tossed it.
"Think I'm supposed to go and make lunch around now." You mumbled sleepily.
"The others can take care of it." Stephen said, grabbing the covers to pull them over your bodies. "We deserve a bit of sleep."
You huffed a laugh before falling asleep on his chest, Tony's arms around your back.

DAMON/ELENA BRACKET, ROUND 1.1F
1.21 fresh off their latest shared triumph of getting Stefan detoxed, Elena is on the phone with Damon, updating him on her timeline for the day, and says “I wanted to check in first.” He answers, “Oh, well, I’m doing great, thanks for asking.” She corrects him, “Check in on Stefan.” “Oh, him?” Damon says. “Ugh, he’s…he’s terrible.” “What’s the matter?” Elena asks, worried. “He’s just back to boring, straitlaced, off the junk…” Damon laments, “you’ve successfully cured him of anything that was interesting about his personality.” Elena sing-songs, “Don’t forget who helped me!” He says with a smile, “I hate myself.” he closes with a lewd comment about Caroline which makes her scoff, and they hang up. Stefan walks out of the shower, and is perplexed to find Damon in his bed, holding his phone. Damon tells him, “Elena called.”
1.11 Elena has just fled Stefan’s bedroom after discovering his portrait of Katherine, and then drives straight into a mysterious vampire and flips her car. Damon vamp-speeds in in the nick of time, scaring away the vampire, and asks “how ya doing in there?” Elena tells him she’s stuck, and he reaches in and extracts her. “Are you okay? Can you stand? Is anything broken?” he asks, voice light, not panicking. He puts her down, she slumps against him and he has to catch her. “Elena, you’re fading fast. Focus.” She does focus, looks him in the eye and says “I look like her,” and then faints dead away. he catches her again, and then sweeps her into his arms and walks away from the wreck with purpose.
please reblog, for sample size, and so you can stand up and be counted as having excellent taste :)

PR1 and MCYT dynamics I think would be great:
(@allianettemie5 I believe it was you who sent me this ask originally)
Skadj and Cub - the greatest pranks to ever grace your eyes
Chilled and Scar - this would be so terrible and so funny
Ze and Impulse - We already know they’re besties
Vik and Joel - the house is on fire. everything’s gone. disaster
Katherine and Kara - just a couple of girls who murder (they have probably actually interacted at some point I’m sure)
Pasta and Sausage - I think this one speaks for itself
Jimmy and Junk - don’t ask me why they’d get along because I can’t think of a reasonable explanation. They just would.
Skizz and Junk - Junkyard = Skizz but more grumpy
Scott and Em - again. I have no idea why but I feel like they would be friends
Speedy and Jimmy - insane rivalry. they would NOT get along at all but it would make for a great story arc

Guilty - Aubrey Posen/Katherine Junk
A/N: Alt 4 for @augustofwhump
It starts with guilt. It starts with Katherine’s daughter, Emily, catching them together. It starts with goodbye. Aubrey really means to leave, even with the guilt clawing at her chest, even with the guilt making her feel like she shouldn’t leave. Guilt comes to play again and again, at worlds, when she next sees Katherine, at the next Bella Alum meeting. Aubrey seems to fade, the more she tries to hide how she feels from everyone. Katherine comes to her, eventually, once she hears what had happened on the world tour. Aubrey melts into her, Emily finally smiling at Katherine’s clear happiness, nodding her permission when Aubrey glances at her, the two left alone even as Katherine smooths soft fingers through slightly tangled golden hair. Guilt fades as they talk, finding themselves falling in love all over again. Katherine’s gentleness washes all the guilt away like it’s easy, like nothing matters but them.

Is there anything in French folk magic or French traditional magic about a new home/home protection?
I don't have a specific ritual but ingredients and methods yes!
RURAL FRENCH MAGIC ELEMENTS
You can make crosses to have at the doors! The plants vary according to the regions: houseleek, cross-benites with lavender, immortelles, according to the folk religious holidays however, traditionally it is on dates of specific religious holidays.
We do a fumigation in the home, certainly with prayers, with plants depending on the region: laurel, juniper... we can burn protective plants, make bouquets of them, especially elderberry. All pungent or strong-smelling plants will be protective (elderflower, garlic, hellebore, holly, hawthorn) For protective bouquets: artemisia, foxglove, meadow iris, mint, St. John's wort, walnut branches, fern, verbena, the Queen of french witchcraft.
We can do a ritual where we will pass the plant through the fire to strengthen its power. The cross is the ideal symbol. The perfect day will be Saint John's Day.
Be sure I'll return to you if I find anything else out! Finally if you need a spell to banish negativity from the house I can give you one by messenger too!
HORSHOE
I think a horseshoe would be ideal ( just like garlic). It is not ''french trad craft'', just a method I would use, but I would purify it, dedicate it to the 4 elements, fumigate it, then recite by hanging it or nailing it:
''Vigilavi, et factus sum sicut passer solitarius in tecto'' (Terese d'Avila, Psalm 102)
But it is my own creation! Otherwise there are these spells from The Witch's Almanac by Katherine Quenot, unfortunately her sources are rarely cited. Some are ancient, others modern...
Here is one of these spells that seems interesting to me because it contains verbena:
TO ATTRACT PROTECTION INTO YOUR HOME Make a purple sachet 18 centimeters on a side and put rosemary, verbena, and a lock of hair from each of the inhabitants, and a picture of the house. Close it with a purple cord, put everything in a secret place in the house and never open it.
TO KEEP YOUR HOME HEALTHY
Make a braid with two green laurel branches, then hang it on a red cord above the interior door of the house or gate.
This talisman will also preserve your family from jealousy, backbiting and the evil eye.
And this one which seems to be modern but inspired by traditional principles:
TO PRESERVE YOUR HOME FROM HARM
You will need coarse salt, cracked pepper, an egg and sticky paper.
Take the egg that you will pierce at both ends to empty it of its contents. Mix the coarse salt with the same quantity of crushed pepper.
Fill the egg with this composition after stopping one end with the paper.
Place everything in a closet or wardrobe in your main room. The egg should be changed every three months. When you get rid of it you have to throw it outside the house in a trash can saying:
''Hexes, evil spirits, in this egg I locked you, now you are thrown.
Never come back to my house,
To the world of junk return''

JUST realised I had not inflicted this terrible, no-good, very bad question on you so here you go:
Rank the Lancasterlings in terms of your interest. 😈
How dare you come into my house on this beautiful day and ask me to Henry IV my children
Hal, naturally. I want to lock him in a lab and study him. All I think about is how completely normal he is. Hyperfixated so hard that when I was 17 I made my class sit through a 35 minute presentation on why he is the Most Interesting.
Philippa. Extra tormenting because we basically have the cliff notes of her life with no elaboration. It's a bit of a double edged sword because if we knew more about her there would probably be an insufferable amount of girlbossification, but Katherine Hepburn would probably have played her in a biopic so really we would be winning (also she actually did what a lot of girlboss history claims their favourite historical figures did, so you know).
Humphrey. He is the Real Housewife of Medieval England, and I love mess. Only has room in his brain for books so he lets his junk do all of the decision making. Somehow ended up the most tragic of the doomed siblings because all of his brothers are dead. He is so dumb and it's fascinating.
John. I love him, but the payoff of being the competent brother TM is that even though he's not boring, everyone talks about him in a boring way. He gets slot into dull but effective, like he's the accountant of the family I'm come from multiple generations of accountants I'm allowed to make that joke so all of the interesting details about him get sort of hidden away. Like, tell me more about the mess he was dealing with in the north, and the time he and Thomas got arrested for brawls, and his illegitimate kids; not the alchemy obsession that seems to be pulled out of thin air.
Blanche. The unfortunate byproduct of her dying so young with not much evidence surviving about her is that there will never be much to know. But I want to know. I want her letters and her diary and what she thought of her situation and whether she was angry at all about being married off so young she probably didn't even know what it meant.
Thomas. The problem with Thomas is there's a lot there, but no one ever mentions it. There's probably loads of juice to him, except it gets warped into "He's Henry's favourite and then just creates problems until he dies" and that's just not a narrative that lends itself to further study. I didn't start getting interested in Thomas until I read fic from his point of view that really delved into how much it would mess with your head to be the favourite child in this family. Like obviously being the only son your dad actually likes (allegedly), being the one he takes with him into exile, the only one allowed to get married, the only one trusted to go to France-- but not the one who is going to be king-- would completely mess with your head. I can totally believe him signing up for the assassination plot, and feeling like he needed to prove himself in an Agincourt-like battle to the detriment of reason, because the guy basically got his entire identity turned into being Henry IV's perfect son. He's sporty-- so is his father. He's a lady killer-- so is his father. He's good in battle-- so is his father. Even after Henry's death he doesn't get to form his own identity, and the identity he has steadily gets chipped away. The psychological rammifications of that could be fascinating, but historians either only praise him out of the belief that he's a nuisance to Hal, or basically ignore him entirely.
#House of Lancaster#this is why in the modern AU Henry thinks Thomas is living the perfect life and everyone else is just like 'Sir that is a mental illness'#In my head the closest to a Thomas-esque character is Jiang Cheng from The Untamed (even though he's in Hal's position)#Me: yeah Thomas is the least interesting *writes the most about him*
