The LGBTQ community is something very present in criminal case, there are a lot of characters in the community, there's a lot of representation and that makes me feel happy and proud. Nobody is hurting anyone, there's nothing dangerous in it.

So, why hate and discriminate against characters in the community? Why deny them their identity? Why force them into something they are not? In a community full of love and respect, how can there be room for homophobia? If you can't even tolerate and handle the representation of two girls in a romantic relationship, then you shouldn't be here.

Nothing can justify your hate against the LGBT community. There are a lot of straight characters to ship together, why would you choose to ship a lesbian with a guy? That's just stupid. Why would you be so mad over it? No matter how much you hate LGBT representation, they will still be part of the community! And if you don't like it, well, you shouldn't be in the fandom then. There is no room for homophobia here.

I'm really happy and proud with the representation of our community in criminal case, and I would never change that! :)

I never talk about them, but KathEvie is one of my top 5 cc ships ever. They're so fricking cute. Their relationship development felt real compared to a lot of others, and I really respect and love that as a lesbian myself.

I love the effect they have on each other, too. Katherine definitely brings out the confidence in Evie, yet is very patient with her each step of the way.

Evie gives Katherine a reason to keep fighting. She gives her endless support when she feels boxed in in her job. I can imagine the trauma of knowing your death is inevitable would be a heavy weight, especially on Katherine. So, to have a way to try and heal together after that is something I feel like they definitely took seriously.

Headcanon, but Katherine's character totally inspired parts of Evie's writing, but she was too shy to tell her. After reading it, Katherine KNEW, this character was definitely based on her, and she finds it adorable.

Dorsets are super fluffy, and she has fluffy hair! She just gives sheep vibes in general!

Elephants are great parents, and they’re very gentle creatures! I also just think he gives elephant vibes. He’d probably like them too :-)

Parrots are her favorite animal. Not to mention, she’s wild and colorful like them. She shares a similar color scheme as Green-Winged Macaws so I thought it’d make sense for her to be one.

evie holloway and katherine woolf is such an underrated ship in motp. like evie is an introverted bookworm who sometimes longs to be braver, while katherine is an outspoken, intrepid journalist who sometimes has no boundaries. over the course of motp, katherine teaches evie how to speak up, while evie teaches katherine to be more sensitive regarding sensitive issues and topics.

and this all happens around the 19TH CENTURY as well, where homophobia and misogyny is rampant. and during lawson’s dictatorship, they’re both supportive of each other’s cause and ways to stop lawson
