It is currently hosted by Mukai Satoshi and Suzuki Airi, though was previously also hosted by Tanaka Minami and Hironaka Ayaka (as in this special). - The cast for this episode's VTRs includes Katayama Yuki, Natsuki Hori (FANTASTICS), Fujiyoshi Karin (Sakurazaka46), Hanayama Mizuki (former E-girls), Soma Satoru, Tanaka Riku, Aoki Ryo and Kashio Atsuki. It occurred to me that keeping a list of all previous and future game versions, and the major things that were added, might be useful! Both as a quick reference for what's coming, but also as a roadmap for where the game has already been, which may come in handy once international versions release.

So, I wasn't sure how I was going to start this post. But for any AssClass fan that is reading this: you might have seen this image before, right?

This image was made back in 2015, during the year of the airing of the anime's first season. It was made for the anime songs 3-days concert Animelo Summer Live 2015 -The Gate-, also abbreviated as Anisama 2015, that was held at the Saitama Super Arena (on August 28th to 30th). It's a very big concert that involves solo artists, group artists, and voice actors singing anime songs.

Speaking of voice actors: the JPN VAs of the 6 Class 3-E students on this image were one of the many performers at Anisama 2015 (can be found on the official Anisama website). They performed on Day 2 of the concert. Forming a special version of 3-nen E-gumi Utatan (Class 3-E Song Unit) known as 3-nen E-gumi Samatan (Class 3-E Summer Unit). Consisting of: • Nagisa Shiota - VA: Mai Fuchigami • Kaede Kayano - VA: Aya Suzaki • Karma Akabane - VA: Nobuhiko Okamoto • Yuma Isogai - VA: Ryota Osaka • Hinata Okano - VA: Minami Tanaka • Tomohito Sugino - VA: Yoshitaka Yamaya

The song this unit sung live was the anime's first opening song: Seishun Satsubatsuron There were also some messages by Koro-sensei (VA: Jun Fukuyama) pre- and post-performance.

Also, Aya Suzaki also performed as Minami Nitta from THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls on the exact same day as well, with a few other VAs from same iM@S branch. And Minami Tanaka also performed as Minami Katayama from Wake Up, Girls! with the rest of the VAs from the same franchise on Day 3 of the concert.

Additionally, there were a few other JPN VAs of the AssClass cast that also performed at Anisama 2015. Just either as themselves (solo singer artists or in a singer artist group) or as one of their character roles from another franchise they voice in.

Manami Numakura (Rio Nakamura's VA) as Hibiki Ganaha from THE iDOLM@STER - P.S. she's one of the few seiyuu who kickstarted the live concert on Day 1 (alongside her with some of the 765PRO ALLSTARS seiyuu who are also from THE iDOLM@STER as well as the idol unit Muse's seiyuu from Love Live!; via collaboration medley

Mamoru Miyano (Gakushuu Asano's VA)

All the VAs/seiyuu mentioned in this post have (or have not) returned to perform at Anisama in later years. Again, either as solo artists or in one of their other character franchise role(s).

I tried my best explaining everything on this post. But I guess this can be seen as some sort of piece of trivia? At least, that's what I think...

She's a great inspiration to me, who wants to be a VA/seiyuu- especially after learning that she was a Fate fan who became an important VA in it, her voice always brings me happiness every time I hear it.

Do u watch any other idol anime beside love live?

I don’t! Well, unless you count the time I watched the first Wake Up! Girls movie plus the first three episodes of the anime with some Team ONIBE members in preparation for seeing WUG at AWM 2017.

That’s probably why I tentatively decided on Minami as my favorite - Episode 3 was focused on her cute eating habits and devotion to a grandma (which hit me particularly hard in the feels because I happen to live with a grandma myself). Probably doesn’t help that Minami (or should I say, Minyami) is the cheerful member of the group with a yellow image color and a “nya” catchphrase…

I actually got a similar ask last year about whether I’d be watching BanG Dream!, and back then I said I probably wouldn’t. To this day, I still haven’t watched a single episode of the show. :’)

While most of the reason that I insist that my blog is LL-centered is maintaining consistency, the true reason is...I honestly am not involved as heavily in any other fandom. In fact, I briefly explained why in that Bandori ask above:

I kinda attempted to quit anime and stuff when I started university, actually. So for a couple of years, the only weeb-related thing I did was read manga.

Then I made the dumbass decision of downloading LLSIF in December 2015 during finals week. I binge-watched both seasons of LL plus the movie during my 2016 spring break, right before the Final Live. _(:3 」∠)_

So to be exact: not only do I not watch any other idol anime, I just don’t watch any anime other than Love Live, period. I know that I’ve gotten some asks about other series, so I’m letting y’all know right now - if the show in question aired before 2012, I may have heard of it but I definitely haven’t watched it.

Slightly different summary of the story added in this version: "In order to seize the Treasures of Akashi and Katayama, Riko proposed to use herself as bait to trick Akashi into using herself as a "power source" and reopen the blocked palace. However, when the Phantom Thieves threw bait to Akashi, Riko vaguely realized that someone seemed to have thrown bait to the Phantom Thieves..."

This season of Tycoon's ranked mode will include "special season rules", and "and the poor will definitely get a Wonder card" (unclear, but it probably means within each round based on which player is the Poor or Beggar? I'm not sure if it's translating what we call the Beggar as "poor", or if it actually means the Poor. Also unsure if it means this is a new rule entirely, or one of the seasonal rules?)

Apparently the new skins based on Mona, Skull, Panther, and Fox have nicknames: "King of Cats" ♣K, "Dreadnought Chariot" ♠K, "Scorching Queen" ♥Q, "Floating World Fox" ♥K

The Star Trial mode lasts four weeks at a time (similar to the time-limited Velvet Trials), and is unlocked at player level 70. In it, each thief can only be used a limited number of times between the various challenges, though it sounds like this refreshes in some way as well

The skill trees seem to be referred to as Mental Images, also unlocked at level 70. The skill trees themselves, as previously mentioned, won't actually be added until 3.0.2, but Star Trial gives items that can be used for them (among other ways to get those items)

Another friend recruitment event is running; this time both new players and players who haven't played in at least 15 days can count for this

6 new Revelation cards are being added

It looks like Hachiman (?) is being added as a Door to Ominous Dreams boss, and Door to Ominous Dreams fights will now last two weeks instead of just one (it sounds like they're adding more rewards to that game mode to compensate for not getting the rewards quite as frequently)
