state of the Hazel: not doing too great. general summertime sadness combined with a recently passed cat of mine is not great for the mind. i'm gonna miss that big dope.

i'm getting a good sense for how i'm also feeling gameways, though it ain't much good news. getting back into Persona is feeling rough because i feel like i "have to" play it more than i "want to" play it, generally never great. i still really want to have played it and post the clips here, but given the whole moderation issues of this site, it feels like there's added pressure to do it before it's too late, whether or not "too late" is something i actually need to worry about.

as for more immediate issues, sticking to just Splatoon for so long is getting me into burnout phases. i can understand why, in the past few years, i've usually finished at least one or two pokemon monotype runs by August, maybe visit another game for a good while, but i've done neither this year.

i think playing a new game is probably the best way to get out of this funk right now, though. precisely, i think something i never posted here could work best, to help enjoy the posting process a little bit more too.

i did a whole shopping list in the tags sitting on this, but that'll do for this one. give myself a little time with something new, should be be fine.

Cool Announcements Wow!!!

Good afternoon friends and followers!! I'm sorry for the severe lack of art lately, but there are two things that I'm really excited to share with you all!! So lets just dive straight in!! To begin, I'm incredibly excited to announce that I am going to be a page contributor for @we20vekatamari, a Katamari Damacy fanzine celebrating the series' 20th anniversary!! Everybody has been working incredibly hard, and I'm super excited for you all to see what we've been cooking up! Be sure to follow the zine's official account for updates and more info if you're interested in giving it a look!

Speaking of games having big milestone birthdays; did you know that Yume Nikki will also be celebrating its big 20th this June? Yume Nikki is one of my favorite games, and I'm sure by now a lot of you have noticed all of my 2kki ynoproject screenshots! @ynoproject is in the process of creating its very own Yume Nikki fangame called Collective Unconscious, and I'm lucky enough to share with you all that I'm going to be creating some worlds for the game! My worlds are likely to not be in the very first releases of the game, but keep your eyes peeled!! I'll probably drop a couple of sneak peeks of what I'm cooking up in the following months, so be on the lookout for those as well!! That's just about all for now! Thanks for reading!!

hi!! coming back on tumblr to talk about someone in the katamari fandom who i dont want in here at all, who is mystic aka mysticstars1201 (or mstars1201 on twitter)

she has done a PARAGRAPH of stuff, but i will list the things i remember here & link proof/share images of what shes done to support these in the reblogs if i find it all again.

shipped incest/dipp x peso (apologized, though she was definitely old enough to know that was wrong as she was 14 or 15 at the time?? around that range)

exploited me for art (made me feel pressured into making art for a rp we were doing as i have a hard time saying no & only made a half-assed apology THAT WASNT EVEN AN APOLOGY in her twitter thread acknowledging what shes been exposed for, though saying sorry after iirc though that was probably ingenuine considering her acknowledgement of it in the twitter thread.)

reposting my art without permission (relating with what happened above this, a few months later after the rp we did she reposted an animatic i did for it ON HER OWN YOUTUBE CHANNEL WITHOUT MY PERMISSION WHATSOEVER AFTER ID ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED I DONT WANT HER TO ASSOCIATE WITH ME AGAIN.)

faking her suicide (after she was called out for what she did to me, she eventually tried faking her suicide in a discord server & she eventually came clean about faking it all.)

sending death threats (putting "who should i draw being murdered" in her discord status or something along those lines & publically posting on her twitter something like "i should email my friends drawings of themselves dead" or something like that. really fucked up)

saying the n word (she once said the n word to a literal miitopia character when she is WHITE & only made a half assed statement about it in her twitter thread.)
