it was a modern setting au, barely a chapter or two. katara went to a party and met there jet (her ex), and he thought that she was so desperate after their breakup. so katara got annoyed and lied that she's at this party with someone, and when jet asked where's her partner, she spotted a stranger in a crowd (aang) and lied. aang approached them and played along, kinda "saved" her. and then they spent the evening and the night at aang's place. and katara woke up in his apartment and he made her breakfast.

that was it. does anyone know anything about this fic? i think it might be deleted. but this work lives rent free in my head and i wish i could read it again

Thought process behind this:

It's a shame no one—absolutely no one—grabbed Zuko by the ponytail in book 1.

The general consensus that Katara acts like a booktok boyfriend.

Katara's pose is wrong perspective wise, but she came along so beautifully I didn't have the heart to change it. My job's to make the cow walk: whether it's on legs or nipples is none of my business.
