I heard this song in my playlist, and all i could think about was J being seperated from the rest of the disassembly drone group, and N and V missing her presence.

It’s honestly so overlooked how she probably left a huge gaping hole in N and V’s lives when the two of them seperated off from her. They care about her. They were all three taken in by the same person, they lived (presumably) most of their lives together. “you can come home to me when you’re ready.” they wouldn’t say it outright but they want her to give up chasing after the solver and Tessa. for her to come back to them and focus on their future, not what they left behind.

so basically i’m ill.

“Aki, look!”

Blushing slightly at the nickname you gave him, he followed your hand to a shooting star crossing the sky. His lips curved into a soft smile.

“Make a wish, then”

He turned his gaze to you expectantly, waiting for you to speak. Your eyes met his, taking in the unique shade of his olive irises. It was then that you truly appreciated their beauty, noticing how the stars' reflection added an ineffable depth to them. You turned your gaze back to the sky, shutting your eyes to make your silent wish. They sprung open when you felt Akito's hand slip into yours. It was the perfect moment; twinkling stars painting the horizon, and fingers entwined with his. You rested your head on his shoulder. He flinched, but didn’t move away.

“So, what did you wish for?”

“That you would go buy me some cheesecake,” you replied cheekily.

Akito groaned. 

“Oh, not you too, it’s bad enough with Ena making me run errands for her on a daily basis…”

You chuckled.

“I was just joking. I wished that we would always be happy together.”

You felt his hand squeeze yours.

“Personally, I would have wished for the cheesecake.” He shook his head with a soft smile at your look of indignation. “Because you don’t need to wish on some stupid star for that to come true.”
