Reibert for 002, or Reiner for 003?

When or if I started shipping it:I had always had a thing for them as a couple after I caught up with manga but I kinda ignored that aspect and simply saw them as friends because of their relationship as the titans and stuff… And ugh… then I was sent a fanfic and it was porn and that was it for me.

My thoughts:With everything I’ve shipped in the past, Reibert has been the one pair that has captivated me the most in every aspect of what is known as shipping.. I find their relationship so tragic and I love them as a ship as much as I do as individuals.

What makes me happy about them:Even if just platonic, I know that these two genuinely loved each other..

What makes me sad about them:They are the sad hahaha mmm the fact that Reiner sees Bert’s demise, whatever that may be in his mind, in his nightmares… that and that they weren’t able to keep their promise to return home together…. :(

Things done in fanfic that annoy me:Making Bert the dominant lol I guess it’s not always a bad thing but when it’s forcefully overdone in the shipping aspect, I cringe. That and ooc but I think that bothers everyone?Things I look for in fanfic:Porn This goes for anything that I ship but I really look forward to everyone’s portrayal of the characters (backgrounds, relationships, friendships, development, etc.) and also, whether it be canon or AU’s, I love angst in fics.

My kinks:jsahfljksahflkjh.. I’d have to say that Bert being tied up is probably one of my favorite kinks hehehehe I love seeing him at Reiner’s mercy as long as it doesn’t cross the line of humiliation or abuse..Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:Porco with Reiner (: and Annie with Bert, idk? She’d make him happy, right?My happily ever after for them:God.. could there be a happily ever after with their death sentence? As long as these two could have a moment of genuine peace together, without the thought of their duties as soldiers or warriors, that would be the happy enough…

20. favorite character to write

ymir’s inner voice is so much fun. i also got a kick out of writing kenny recently. i write a lot of angst, so getting to write a character who takes things a little bit lighter is always fun. exploring galliard recently has also been fun, because variety is the spice of life and he’s a much more antagonistic character than i usually write.

i don’t know if i have one favorite, but levi is probably the character i slip into with the least effort. he is also the character i have written the most in my (oh god) four years in the snk fandom, so part of that is just experience. otherwise, he’s just like a good character and he never gets boring, especially in terms of exploring his relationships with other characters. we get a lot of hints into that in canon (old levi squad, new levi squad, remember when levi smiled) but nothing too explicit and that’s fun to explore. although as i write this i realize i have literally never written any of the things that i’m talking about. but i think about them a lot.

28. worst review you ever got

oh man. if i wanted to look for something really bad, i’d have to log on to ff.net but i’m not returning to that hellscape.

actually, this is really nitpicky, but one of my least favorite things is when someone leaves an otherwise lovely review and then tacks on “keep trying!” or something to the effect of that. like... i don’t know. it just comes off as condescending. it has the same tone as “sweetie :)”, i think. like, it probably sounds fine in person, but over the internet, it just becomes annoying.

someone also left a comment on wtwgu basically telling me that i didn’t know the implications of the song “what the water gave me�� which the story is obviously named after. and like?? again, i’m sure they had good intentions, but it felt very condescending and especially so because they were like “you know this song is about suicide right?” and i was literally in the middle of writing the last chapter and i was just like “LMAO... yeah i’m aware”

32. alternate title for (WTWGU)

god i wished i had named it something different so the abbreviation was something other than wtwwfguwefuu.

i don’t know, really. usually i go through a couple of titles before i pick one, but last summer i stuck wtwgu on as a placeholder and then it just became the title. i’d want something simpler, but still with a reference to water. something short that could be innocuous, but could be ominous. something that sounds like just a title, but when you get to the climax, you’re like oh fuck!! it all makes sense!!

what if it was just called “swamp boys”
