SSR Fukengaku?

There isn't really anything official about him yet, so I can't guarantee my thoughts of him will remain unchanged, but he seems to be a sort of "domain fighter" (Who can summon Realms on the battlefield, usually their own created dimension or a specific place of personal importance, with different effects and buffs), similar to Taishakuten, SP Inari Miketsu and SP Kachou Fuugetsu.

Yes, I would write for him! (Any of the new ones included as well.) But not without taking some time learning his lore of course, I' am excited for his in-game release on April 6th. If I get any requests for him now, I 'am not going to answer them until I' am better informed and further play the game's special events :).

As for what I think of him generally, going from what I read of his full CG story on the Onmyoji Youtube channel, I like him. His past is gloomy, interesting. My opinion of his story so far is undercut. For those curious, here is the CG story, give it a watch:

Major Spoilers; (Fukengaku's entire animated CG Story)

His and Kasagumo's story is a tragic one, war torn and struck with a curse that forbids their close companionship. Each lifetime they have their destined meeting, the curse ends it, and their curse is a powerful one. Using death or some other unfortunate disaster to cause them utter misery, I wouldn't be surprised if their cursed markings burned when unveiled on their skin. I already knew their reincarnations would somehow find a way to be with each other again, since the ending wouldn't mean much or be satisfying if they didn't. But it wasn't any less of an emotional rollercoaster, as all dire love stories are for the most part. Their past and present sacrifices along the way is sympathizable, with enough eye-catching scenes. It reminded me a bit of Kylo Ren and Rey in a way, just without the whole "Darkside vs. Lightside" and set in space thing.

When the story ended on Kasagumo breaking their bonds on the mountain top, it was the nail in their coffins. Fukengaku finally found her after so many lifetimes failing, seeing her hopeless dying image beg him for forgiveness to the wind was heart breaking, he must've felt so useless in that departing scene. He didn't deserve to see her go away like that, nor she, him. Memorable moments are short, but intense emotionally; the animation well-reflected it, the overall atmosphere was sad and not far-fetched (Though Kasagumo's mask breaking scene in the war moment was a little...not good, it just crumbled out of nowhere for drama's sake).

Seemingly fusing with the mountain was unexpected in my part, I thought they were going to do a kind of rule breaking wish or owe a favor to one of the shikigami characters. But nonetheless, his story was entertaining. Heart piercing. In my mind, Tamamo no Mae's love story with their prior wife is more intriguing, but their CG was still pretty good! Declare me invested, I want to learn more. I' am excited to read a cleaner and clearer version of his past from his memory scrolls, I am really hoping I draw him!

Fukengaku is definitely on my "Get this SSR" list!

The fact that Fukengaku, the mountain god known for his kindness torture Orochi's naga, hide the mountain so its not easy to find and use Kohaku to find about what Seimei's group is up to. He's the type you shouldn't mess with.

And yes, I'm right. Fukengaku and Kasagumo were cursed by something related to Orochi.

Gunung Fuji tidak selalu terlihat menonjol karena awan dan kabut tebal yang sering terbentuk di bagian puncaknya. Tapi terkadang Gunung Fuji terlihat lebih luar biasa ketika ada banyak awan yang menemaninya. Salah satunya awan berbentuk kerucut yang menyelimutinya dan penampilannya yang sangat indah dan dinamis, meskipun bisa dibilang meresahkan bagi sebagian orang. Tapi apa yang sebenarnya kita lihat di sini adalah apa yang disebut kasagumo (awan payung) dalam bahasa Jepang, atau yang oleh ahli meteorologi disebut sebagai cap cloud (awan topi). Awan ini terbentuk ketika uap air konsentrasi tinggi di atmosfer bagian atas bertemu dengan aliran kuat udara yang bergerak ke atas, yang dengan cepat mendinginkan udara yang cukup untuk membentuk awan. Uap air dalam jumlah besar juga terkadang memberi warna samar seperti pelangi pada awan saat cahaya matahari terdifraksi di dalamnya. Based on what I understand in Fukengaku's story, the Mountain God split himself into two people. Fukengaku and Kasagumo. That's why the two are attracted to each other bc they are the same person. Their other half.

But why did he do that in the first place? The heavenly blade where the Fallen God was sealed actually fell deep in the mountain. Because of this, the mountain became affected in a bad way, in a form of famine and war. To fix that and to protect the mountain, Mountain God became Kasagumo and Fukengaku to solve that in their lifetimes. They became cursed in the process and can't be together bc of how the dark energy affected them.

Back to the present, Fukengaku is distrustful and made the Onmyojis separate from each other to test them. He just want to protect the mountain from those who want to harm it according to Grandpa Stone Tortoise. He basically scold the Onmyojis for appearing all of a sudden. It make sense the Mountain God find them suspicious with that strange background lol
