"Thanks mate," he replied with a light nod. "I'm particularly fond of the 3D glasses," Tucker mentioned, giving them a light tap. "And you! Now that's a fun costume. Are you a big fan of the film?"
"Oh wow! Look at your costume, you look great!" Jonah exclaimed in a genuinely complimentary manner, "I bed you'll be a shoe in for at least one category in the contest. Which ones are you going for?"

"I figured you wouldn't be walking around with anything that could really harm people," Tucker assured him. "Ah, thanks. I thought he's a cool guy and I could throw together the costume with things I already had. Just in it for the fun."
"Ah, sorry. They are fake so blunt but I suppose they could do some damage," Gale said with an awkward chuckle, "But thanks. You look great too. I dressed up as the Doctor with my ex a few years ago. It's a good choice."

"Halloween is really the one night a year you can say that you just saw Darth Vader and Marilyn Monroe make out and it actually makes sense," Tucker mused with a chuckle. "Anyways, you having a good night, bud?"

"You've really gotta watch where you swing those things," Tucker chuckled lightly in reply. "Don't worry, really. No harm done. I just came over to say that I love your costume– it looks amazing."
"Oh, sorry!" Gale exclaimed, stumbling back from running into the other, holding his arms back in particular to keep the scissorhands, albeit fake, out of the way, "That was a close one. Are you okay?"

"That sort of a thing requires a lot of money that I do not have," Tucker chuckled, flattered that Ezra even considered a possibility where he could manage something like that. "Besides, I don't know if running a place myself would necessarily be a dream of mine. I'm not going to write it off but, I like working in a team with other people– like the staff here."
There was a gentle smile on Ezra's lips. "I don't doubt that for a second." He assured the man, knowing just how much of his time Tucker seemed to spend here, always eager to help out where he could. In a way, Ezra felt like the young man loved it even more than he did. "One of these days I feel like I'm going to lose you when you decide to open your own place."

"I do. I like the adventures they offer and I was never a big reader so they're the main way I took in classic stories," Tucker explained when she'd asked him about his love of movies. He wasn't sure if he'd fully dub himself a cinephile like some out there, but he still enjoyed them a great amount. "Hah– of course. I have no doubts you'll work tirelessly to put my abilities to shame. As long as you're not coming to swoop my job from me, that's all good with me."
"You like movies a lot?" It was the impression Clementine got from the way he was talking about them. He'd seemed rather cool when she'd first met him but Clementine had quickly discovered that Tucker was far more of a geek than she'd have imagined. Something about that though was endearing to her. "Don't get too comfortable. I intend to be that good in no time at all." She stated, pointing at him and smiling because she was determined if nothing else. When Clementine set her mind to things, she would make sure she accomplished them.

"Now I'm just imagining you walking out with a gaggle of penguins following you like a mother and her ducklings," Tucker admitted as he broke into a laugh at the visual that provided. "I suppose it'd make sense. I've already got intel so I'll be interrogated either way," he considered with amusement. "In a trench coat? Do you think they'd be coordinated enough to stay in?" he entertained. "Yeah I mean I guess you're right, theft is theft," Tucker nodded. "But it's so funny and seems so harmless too that it doesn't seem so bad. Even if I know technically... it still is."
"Okay, so we're going multiple penguins." James nodded, "More than one is going to be a little trickier to sneak out alone, so I'm either going to have to gain an accomplice, which might as well be you at this point given you frankly know too much of my crime." James pointed out. "Or, we go for the whole four penguins in a trench coat ruse and no one will be any of the wiser." James shrugged, "Who knows, it was quite some time ago and I'd like to think there was some mutual bond there between us. An unspoken one, but a connection that could be undeniable should we come into contact again." James hummed and furrowed his brows at the other for a moment, "I mean it's cute that you see it this way, but pretty sure in the eyes of the law it's still theft... And breaking and entering... Probably some property damage too."

"I don't disagree but I just hope you don't take after her in wanting to start some sort of violent murder spree or anything," he considered with an amused huff. "You think sugar puff is better than flap jack? They basically sound the same," Tucker insisted. "Hot tamale? Of course you'd want to be called that," he snorted. "Yeah, yeah. I figured as much. Lulu probably suits you the best out of all of them anyways," he said after breaking into a laugh.
"Oh most definitely. She's pretty bloody cool and she's a real hottie too. I'd go for more of her." Lulu stated with a grin, unashamedly answering that question. "Not really. Who wants to be named a flap jack? It reminds me of things I should really not name. How about pumpkin or sugar puff or I don't know... hot tamale? Anything was better than Flap Jack surely. And if it wasn't clear, I don't really want you to call me any of them. They range from what a granny might say to some uncool guy attempting to get a date with me."

"Only a baby?" his eyebrows knitting in concern. "I certainly get that. Who would find something like that compelling? Especially if caring for their wellbeing is your job? Seriously flawed logic if you ask me. But that's good at least."
"It was only a baby, poor thing," Ciara snorted, "God, I hope not. Trying to steal an animal from me is not the way to get with me or any magizoologist for that matter. Besides, he was pretty quick to get it out of his trousers when I threatened to retrieve it myself."

Tucker nodded, able to understand that it wasn't for everyone. "You okay now?" he felt inclined to ask when the other was recalling the situation.
"Yeah, I'm not really one for confrontation. It doesn't usually end well for me so I thought it was the best idea to just get myself out of there."

"Definitely. Especially when you watch movies with as much intrigue and enthusiasm as I do. I just love immersing myself in different stories and appreciating everything that goes into making a film," he admitted. Tucker smiled at her when she claimed she'd tried to follow his instructions as close as possible. "Hey you're still brand new at this. If you were immediately a pro I'd have to be scared for my job," he told her with a chuckle. "I'm sure with practice you'll be making them in your sleep."
"I think that sometimes you cannot help saying something with new movies though. When something catches you by surprise, it is only natural to make some form of verbal response." Clementine answered with a little smile as he explained his reasoning to her. "You have a lot of feelings to express after a movie I assume? Deep conversations." She laughed softly at his words, though she fell silent when he tried her drink. The nose wrinkle appeared to suggestion she was a little disappointed that she hadn't nailed it but she was glad that he was honest with her. "I just tried to follow yours as closely as possible. It seems I was a little off." She definitely preferred sweetness over the taste of alcohol."

He couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle at Everleigh's sing-songy teasing. "And so what if I do?" Tucker scoffed, clearly still amused. "She's fascinating, intelligent and gorgeous, can you blame me?" he insisted in a matter-of-fact manner. "As much as I like her, I'm not going to press on anything. It took me long enough to get her to warm up to me and I like having her in my life as a friend. I'd rather not scare her away if I can help it."
"I didn't say he was a saint but I am making this clear for you here." Everleigh warned her friend lightly though she had to smirk a little as Tucker decided to warn her off that too. "Interesting really... She spends that much time here and you don't want to look bad in front of her... Should I look out for hearts in the air around you two." She couldn't resist playfully teasing him. "As the iconic Sandra Bullock says in Miss Congeniality 'You want to hug her... You want to love her... You want to smooch her...'" She laughed in a sing-song voice.

"I'm sure," he chuckled along at the other's response. Tucker's face twisted into a warm smile at that. "Aw Theo, aren't you just an absolute sweetie?" he cooed at him playfully. He did actually appreciate the sentiment but it was typical of him to not let things be serious for long.
"Several peoples maybe." Theo said with a grin because he wasn't shy about sharing himself with people as he was sure Tucker was aware of. Working in the bar, he was sure his friend had probably seen some of the people he'd entertained before. "Exactly. And it could never be a bad night if we're shooting the shit together, Tuck."

"I can see that. It's hard to hear and makes me sad that it's that way for some people, but it is a reality," he acknowledged. "Seems it. Nice to know that some good came out of it."
"Without getting too dark, healing can very traumatic. It's not for everybody," Victoire pointed out, "You're right. Not funny for him but a funny anecdote for me."

"I suppose it's just a loss that I'll have to live with," he snorted in reply. When Jaiyash admitted to being spoken for, Tucker raised a brow at that, "Wait... seriously?" he hadn't known the other was official with anybody. Not that it was any of his business. "That's great, Jai. I'm happy for you."
"Well that is a real shame. For you. I'm something no one should miss out on." Jaiyash answered with a little laugh at his friend. Not that he really looked at him in that way. They were just good friends and he intended to keep it that way. "Anyway, I'm kind of otherwise spoken for sort of..." He didn't really have a way to explain what was going on with him and Jonah, only that they seemed to be spending too much time with one another to really be bothering with anyone else in that way. At least from his perspective."

"Is it that obvious?" Tucker snorted when the other teased him. "So would you consider yourself to be a bit of a romantic at heart? That argument gives me that impression of you."
"You seem very invested in this interaction? Has it been a slow day for you or something?" Cooper laughed when the bartender decided to get involved. "I don't really think my love story starts in a bar, especially not with that amount of alcohol involved but I suppose I could be wrong."
