Ok, so this is based on my idea for what their relationship could have been like if we had gotten the movie. In MY movie, Karl still lives in his van, but it's parked in Anders Garden, where he can stay in exchange for basically fixing everything that's wrong with the house or whatever Ders wants. Also, he is not allowed in the house outside of work.
