What is so bad about lore Olympus?
ough i dont wanna be a hater, i just wrestled my wretched hand from continuing the haterism train.
i'll try not to let this get too long. for my own health. (although I had a lot of fun hating on LO lol, my problematic era)
1st of all, feminist retelling my ass. The original hymn of PERSEPHONE ANNNNDD DEMETER was more feminist than whatever she did. and I do want to note trying to find feminism in cultures before the emergence of feminism as an actual thought, cultural & human rights movement is not very useful for several reasons (which wave of feminism are we using? From which cultural origin? somehow we always end up using NorthAmerican or French or German authors. but I digress)
Long story short, the original hymn focuses on a mother's grief at losing a daughter. It focuses on how Persephone being stolen by Hades broke both of their hearts. A mother's grief that made her go up to Zeus and yell and plead and, upon going unheard, made her commit to starving the world. Persephone returns to her mother, but only after she's tricked, tied down, and changed.
It was a story that comforted greek women who were given away to a husband and their mothers who let them go. it was one of the very, very few stories that put the experience of womanhood at the center of its story. The original myth IS ALLLLL about female bonds, female grief, female rage. It wasn't a traditional love story at all, although I'd argue its a type of lovestory.
Rachel fell for a stupid retelling that some gringa feminist concocted in the 70s or 80s I really can't be bothered to be precise with this, who thought "wow these greek myths are kind of dark and sexist, I don't want my baby daughter to read them! let me rewrite them so they're empowering by my own cultural standards" <- gringa ass take.
It's hilarious because the feminism here is supposed to be that Persephone CHOSES to be with Hades, and fights her mom (who is turned into an unsympathetic helicopter parent), his current situationship (mynthe my beloved, with whom he has a wildly uneven power-dynamic. they're both BAD for each other, but the narration only ever criticizes and punishes Mynthe for it), and is socially isolated over it. but its fine! because Hades is RICH and pampers her at every turn.
The focus on the wealth and status signifiers that Persephone gets from Hades are so. so vapid lol. Hera gets her a job with Hades easily bcs Hades already likes her, she gets paid way more than an intern should make despite lacking qualifications (this never comes to bite her back in the ass, its just a plot device to justify her having money), she's literally just there because she's pretty and he likes her. He'll say that its because he respects her but, respect what? he barely knows her name and who her mom is.
Another thing about how wealth and luxury are used in Lore Olympus (by the way. most of the culture and symbols of status you see are soooo USAmerican. it's a bit charming when it starts but when you see the reporters look like they came from a gringo news channel it gets super lame) that's really funny is that they become a symbol of Persephone rising up in life, CLAIMING WHAT IS HERS!! yes girl go get it eat the world get the money raise in status! Nevermind that Demeter literally has a cereal empire and a monopoly on grain production on earth like. what? Persephone is old money, lol? but we're meant to think she's a country bumpkin bcs Demeter forced her to be a star student ohnoooo how terrible. I'm crying as I type. hashtag heartbreaking.
Finally, Persephone keeps receiving these gifts, these dresses, she has like 1000 outfit changes and maybe one or two are actually chosen by them. literally most of what you see her wear is either magically given, or a gift from Hades, or from Hera, or from some other godly bestie. It's actually really funny. She has NO agency not even when it comes to how she looks. Which is like, the basis of modern capitalist girlboss feminism.
Like, she's just a prop. a stand-in. she has no discernible personality because she's, at her core, just a bunch of aesthetics thrown together, a vehicle for readers who crave that lifestyle, the story of a tortured rich man coming to the rescue and being soooo obsessed with you despite your lack of depth, to project on. She'll say she stands for something, then she'll forget about it 5 chapters down the line. Oh I care about nymphs! until they forget that she is a goddess and thus above them. Oh I care about my studies! You forget she even was in university by the time she's working with Hades. Oh I'm trying to empower myself! Things keep happening TO her, she doesn't make ANYTHING HAPPEN. She's reactive, passive, and only ever flexes her power when a nymph does something to Hades. Or when his daddy gets mean with them.
That's the other thing, the plot is such a fucking messssss dude. The pacing is the worst thing I've ever seen, and I watched Hazbin Hotel. They keep like... setting up these storylines that never go anywhere. I don't understand why Rachel thought it necessary to include all of the popular Greek myths and literally force them to fit around Persephone and Hades. The story will set up a big bad guy, and you won't even see them mentioned until you've forgotten they were supposed to raise the stakes because the story also MUST talk about other myths like, Cupid and Pysche (this one wasn't too terrible tbh), Apollo and Daphne, Eris comes in and you think she's going to be huge and then she's just like an annoying cat. lol.
Eris pisses me off a lot bcs you think Rachel dared give Persephone a flaw (RAGE!!!) and then. plot twist. it was Eris all along! im puking and throwing up in actual, flawed anger
All of that ^^^ is almost whatever to me, until Rachel tries to tell you: Okay this isn't JUST a GIRLMINIST MWAH retelling this is also about childhood trauma! So we'll see Hades struggling with Kronos! The execution though... there's like. one or two chapters where I can almost take Hades trauma seriously, but Kronos is such a non-entity, that more often than not gets defeated by the power of girlminism (there's no symbolism here btw. Oftentimes Persephone just magic girl transforms and that's that. power always finds her conveniently). It's like he's just there to make Hades an uwu soft boy, and I just really, realllyyyyy struggle to see him that way when you're also telling me he's like the Elon Musk slash King of the Underground.
There's some other comments to be made about classism and how Nymphs are treated as 2nd class citizens and it never gets addressed by the narrative. It's such a waste, to set up a world with so much tension and do nothing with it. Did I mention that the Nymphs are ALWAYS punished by goddesses? feminism babe.
Persephone's characterization is stupid. I can see what Rachel was trying to do, the transition from teenage to adult, naive girl who was overprotected trying to get in touch with her sexuality, girl who is book smart learning to navigate a world with people who don't have her best interests at heart (although most of the time they do. Persephone gets a lot of help, and a lot of it comes from people who likes her bcs she's... pretty? Again. She has no personality.), but the execution is bad, and I get the feeling that her obsession with portraying Persephone as demure, doe-eyed, girlish does most of the harm. Can't have her be mad without being pretty! or look at Hades with anything other than submission in her eyes! yikes.
The art is very bad. It was cute when it started, but you can tell when the art style changes that they put a lot of pressure on Rachel to churn out episodes quickly, and they must've given her the worst assistants in the history of Webtoon bcs Goodlord... Honestly? this may be one of the main reasons why the pacing and plot are so bad (also ngl Rachel doesn't strike me as a particularly deep person lol. again. girlboss feminism mwah), it was poorly managed.
On the topic of the art being bad, there's a lot of inconsistencies when it comes to character design. I'd recommend that you try to look for editors who "correct" LO panels on Instagram, they do a great job fixing & pointing out how wacky the anatomy gets. Personally my main gripe is that sometime Persephone is dick-height with Hades, sometimes she's navel-height, sometimes she's smaller, but by god she must always look like a toddler next to him. Sometimes! she's given boobs and hips to signify that she's an adult. but no one would be able to tell you if she's thick or petite.
Okay, because I'm not 100% mean, I'll highlight a couple of things that I think they do well:
Mynthe is accidentally the best character in the series, because she's flawed and her social circle + the narrative react in accordance to what she does. When she's smart, things kinda go her way. When she's petty, there's consequences later on. Most of all, her story is so... human. Again, I'm certain this is 100% accidental but damn. she has poverty trauma, racial trauma, I'm not one for diagnosing fictional characters but I could see her having BPD? And you see how it affects her life? You see the way she WANTS to be better, but her own beliefs and bad behavioral patterns sabotage her, hold her back. God, she's just... she's so interesting. She's easy to hate, she can be easy to root for in a doomed way (we all know she gets turned into a plant by the end), but whatever the case she doesn't leave you indifferent. She's the most compelling character, funny, a bitch, self-aware yet powerless to change. She has a complicated relationship with Hades, and its the only thing that gives Hades even a semblance of a personality. Whenever she appeared the comments went wild lol. She has a toxic friend but it's also easy to see why she can't let her go. Rachel accidentally did so much commentary through her that sadly doesn't go anywhere bcs the metanarrative doesn't care about inequality, but it's still there, and it stays with you. I could go on. She's easily the best part of LO IMO.
I kinda like Hera event though everything that happens around her is super hypocritical lol. it's just this, idk, Desperate Housewives drama? idk. she's super racist but she's also trapped in a marriage with Zeus. she's the most messy woman to have helping out Persephone yet she IS there goddammit. Persephone both admires her (wants to be like her (girl....)) and is jealous of her (she was Hades 1st love and they had an affair. really shows that Persehpone is like, 20). she's sooo messy. ah, something about it.
So the reason why I read LO is because I read somewhere that I had a good representation of sexual assault and sexual trauma. That the event is shown respectfully, non-graphically, but still impactfully. And I agree. The event is one of the best chapters in the 1st season, and Apollo is an uncomfortable, looming figure for a good while afterward. Unfortunately after S1 the pacing + storyline problems get to them, and sometimes you forget that Persephone is supposed to be traumatized, that Apollo was an actual treat rather than a dumbass (although I supose that can be commentary too? He's characterized as a fratboy, a golden boy type of figure, and I'm for the most part okay with it in some scenes). Honestly, if you read LO just to get to that part + a little bit after what happens there, that's fair. Just, be aware that it gets resolved by sending Persephone to Therapy (gringo style!!) and she only goes once. and that's it. (okay ngl that's kind of funny actually. it went nowhere!)
TL;DR LO suffers from a case of "let's make this story that's really not that deep into a cash cow even though it: 1. doesn't have the elements to be taken that far. it's fine! we'll just squeeze them in!!!, 2. the author is not talented enough to milk it for that long and make it worthwhile, 3. we (WebToon) are also not going to AT LEAST give them a team that helps counteract that, no sir, instead we're going to pressure them with long-ass updates every week"
They really, really shouldn't have included Kronos, let alone the rest of the myths. I'm telling you if the story had ended with Mynthe being turned into a plant and Persephone yelling at Demeter "MOM! me inheriting your big ass empire is YOUR dream, not mine!" and leaving with Hades, and also landing Apollo's ass in court, I would've been like. eh. another mid story from the ~let's make the Greek Myths girl powery!~ crowd, but it at least would've had Mynthe's drama and the portrayal of Persephone's trauma, and that to me would've been very salvageable, like. I can see those elements resonating with readers in meaningful ways.
Bad choices were made etc.
#Ask#kaoruko-han#wow this got so long. look at all the disdain that i harbor in my heart#and that's considering that i KEPT MYSELF from going over a couple other gripes i have with LO#bcs I was like. Ok chill Mar. Let's not get nitpicky.#anyways if you don't read all that (valid) just read the last 3 points I make at the end and the conclusion I think that summarizes my#feelings towards LO#rambles#lore olympus critical ///

What did Deku do
There's no real easy way to say this besides that Deku went through some bad writing choices 😭
First, I do not like Deku. I really don't like him anymore because he killed my favorite character and then the story kept telling me about how Izuku saved Shigaraki by "destroying his anger" (which Deku did by killing Shigaraki, bc Death = no more feelings at all) and by holding Shigaraki's ghost hand for five minutes. And this is supposed to mean that Shigaraki was saved and died happily. But to me, murdering somebody does NOT mean you saved their life/soul/etc
Also before the whole murder thing, Deku is shown to have very little character development during Act 3 of MHA. So he's kinda boring, and very frustrating when he says he wants to save Shigaraki but also doesn't have a plan on HOW to save him. Even though he had lots of time to think of a plan. This doesn't justify accidentally (?) killing Shigaraki when you actually wanted to save him, supposedly
TLDR; The problem is that Deku didn't do much of anything. He's overall a pretty frustrating character for me personally and its hard to understand half the stuff he says or does in the series in a way where I can sympathize with him after killing my blorbo etc
#asks#kaoruko-han#sorry if this sounds super vague! im not sure how to explain this in a cohesive manner sdhfdsghf 😭#after these leaks im just kinda going thru it#but after izuku said “hold my hand ochako' i felt like i was being personally attacked

It's even worst in media for women. Now I just learn to enjoy the story until, inevitably, the love interest appear because how can the story be interesting without romance?
There's a manga, the apothecary diaries, that I love for the mystery in it. When the anime was released all people cared about is the male character.
All the posts was about thirsting on him and shipping him with the heroine. And I know. She will fall for him. Because if a guy like the heroine in a manga, then she have to fall too. Because else everyone will hate her and what's the point of a story without romance again?
But it piss me off to then read performative post about platonic relationship or how to value female characters.
Even in fandom for women, it's all about romance and guys. Nobody really care about the heroine, she's just there to fall in love with the fan favorite.
See Shojo mangas fans try to make us heard and I totally support it. But I never see this much enthusiasm for the non romantic shojo there is or even non romantic shojo with a female mc.
I'm at a point where everyone is hypocritical in my eyes.
BRUH NO LEGIT I HAVE THE SAME TAKE ON THE APOTHECARY DIARIES
I followed the anime myself and the MC always seemed so hilariously uninterested in what looked to me like a creepy guy who wouldn't leave her alone, the energy she displayed as a reaction to him was hilarious... And after seeing comments on the anime online I realized people didn't find the guy's behavior creepy at all, they found it charming, and I found myself in a big "are people for real...?" state of confusion. Idk I guess there's a loooot I don't get.
But yeah... Seriously. I don't get it. Got nothing to add to this other than "yep I definitely don't get it either". Power to people who find appeal in this tbh, they probably get to enjoy life a lot more than we do, but... Yeah I don't get it.

Day 2 Masterpost Top Star Audition Masterpost
Hanayagi Kaoruko - "Fifth place will have to do for now. I was up against Tendo-han after all." Honestly Kaoruko has the most rotten luck. First she was up against Tendo Maya, literally the best in their entire grade, and now she's up against Mahiru who is currently the top rank! Absolutely unfair! She ought to complain to the manager, or rather get Futaba to find the manager and complain for her. But then again, seeing the state Mahiru is in because of Karen recently, maybe this could be Kaoruko's chance to soar in the ranking!
Tsuyuzaki Mahiru - "Top Rank? Me? This has to be some kind of mistake!" Despite Mahiru's repeated claims that her victory must have been a fluke, the stage has found her to be the front runner for the top star. But can she even enjoy this newfound status when her heart is in such turmoil? Ever since Hikari transferred to Seisho, Karen has done nothing but chase her around and talk about her! What's even the point of Mahiru becoming the top star who everyone adores if the one she loves never looks her way!?

Junna has a reason why she checks all games beforehand ^^
Read the short bonus chapter on ao3 or below the cut.
Junnited Nations Conference
Three hours and fifteen minutes before game night, first diplomatic conference of the new semester. Location: Seishou common room. Purpose: negotiation of treaties. Attendees: Hanayagi Kaoruko, Hoshimi Junna.
“Come on, Junna-han!” Kaoruko throws up her hands in frustration. “Now you’re just being unfair, I even checked your silly list of forbidden games!”
“Well, we’re still not going to play this one.” Junna taps decidedly onto the table, eyeing the more than questionable 18+ version of Exploding Kittens warily. “I’ve said this before: No adult games.”
“But whyyyyy?” Kaoruko whines. “Everyone here’s of age…”
“I’ve looked through the cards.”
“Uggh. Of course you did.” Kaoruko grimaces and makes a show of rolling her eyes. “Which one offends your delicate eyeballs so much then?”
“All of them.”
“All of them?!” Kaoruko screeches in disbelief. “But the zombie cat’s just a little guy? And the bikini cat has everything covered. Technically. I mean it’s really not their fault for being a bit…larger.” She pauses shortly, pursing her lips as if in deep thoughts. “And even you have to admit that the facehugger cat is a little funny.”
“Funny is a bit of a stretch. Even though it’s not quite as horrid as the rest,” Junna admits, nevertheless scrunches up her nose as she remembers the crass depictions of the other cards just all too well.
“Gotcha.” Kaoruko nods, her grin turning sharp. “So it’s all those di-”
“Exactly,” Junna quickly cuts in. “Those weren’t even cat themed anymore. The creators could’ve at least tried, but no, apparently they ran out of good ideas rather quickly. Not that they were any good to begin with, but you know." She frowns, then ends her tirade with a pointed cough. “Anyway. Final offer: We play the original version instead.”
“Boooooring!” Kaoruko booes.
“Alright, Trivial Pursuit it is then,” Junna decides. “You’re in luck, I finally got my hands on the limited Know-It-All New York edition and look forward to playing it with you all immensely.”
“Nooooooo, Junna-han, pleeeeease, have mercy!” Kaoruko cries out. “I never in my life wanted to play the kids - I mean, the original version so much.”
“Thought so.”
With this another conference on the Elimination of Inappropriate Entertainment Goods comes to conclusion. All decisions are going to be adapted in accordance to the above mentioned resolution. By all means necessary.
#revue starlight#kaoruko hanayagi#hoshimi junna#game night#fanfiction#my writing#exploding kittens#yes I did buy the japanese edition only to make this silly photo#nobody can tell me my fics aren't thoroughly researched now#and yes I do have all the plush#time to make a stop motion plush version of the anime#facehugger cat IS hilarious though I love it sm#but junna is right most of the other cards are very disappointing

Title: Kiss me under the mistletoe
Ship: Claudine x Maya (Revue starlight)
Summary: Kaoruko introduces Maya the wonders of the mistletoes and the tradition behind them to try and get more kisses from Claudine.
Words: 1.7k
Sneak peek: "- Kuro-han!
Kaoruko greets the other girl rather happily as soon as she spots her going downstairs, making Claudine frown confused at such an effusive reception from her, before she stops at the common room’s doorframe and next to Maya.
- Why are you all gathered here?
Claudine asks confused, seeing both Futaba and Maya shrugging their shoulders while Kaoruko grins even wider if possible, sending shivers down her spine.
- You’ve came at the right moment.
Kaoruko singsongs while Futaba sighs already imagining her girlfriend’s schemes, causing Claudine to take a step closer to Maya.
- Why do I have a bad feeling about this? – Claudine murmurs, making Maya giggle, before Kaoruko interrupts them.
- Kuro-han.
The blue haired girl calls her name seriously, making her turn her attention back at her to see her pointing over her head with a sly grin playing on her lips. The ash-blonde can only follow her to then notice the mistletoe hanging over her head, or rather over hers and Maya’s heads.
Oh.
It’s the only thing she can think of as realization draws upon her, blushing lightly while Kaoruko giggles mischievously.
That little cheeky devil."

I wonder what's Hikari's english accent? On one hand she lived in UK for the most of her life, on the other hand she was pretty big when she moved, so she could've at least partially picked up her parents' japanese pronounciations, and even besides that, is it common folk's english or posh?
As for Claudine, she probably has parisian and tokyo accents regardless of where she grew up for ojou-sama reasons.
Kaoruko at least mentions dialect-specific words, like 'han' instead of 'san', uchi (I think she does, as a personal pronoun), 'gaki' that got translated as a 'child' but from what I've seen gets treated as a 'brat', at least by norhtern parts.
And does Mahiru have traces of Sapporo in her speech?
#I definitely think that people don't really need to erase their native accents as long as they're legible and even in practice barely anyon#manages to. The command of language doesn't really depend on it.#Anywqy kt's an odd thing to think about regarding characters but I dunno. It's fun#it pains me that Junna probably won't pick up new yorka accent but the world is cruel#shoujo kageki revue starlight#dumayu#вышедшее из под моего пера

Different Zhu-Zhu pets I think the Kukugumi would own
Karen:
Murphy. Karen kind of reminds me of a little dog, so I think it would make sense if she had a little dog. It kinda looks like her too, if you squint.
Futaba:
Tulip. I feel like she would find it so damn cute and would just have to take it home with her. Rabbit fan behavior. She also likes to hold Zhu-Zhu races.
Claudine:
Cream Puff. I can’t explain it but she looks french. There would be solidarity. Peace. Love. I can imagine her brushing it’s hair. I can imagine her being a devoted father.
Nana:
Ribbit. It’s a frog. Need I say more? I can picture in my mind’s eye her gushing about it. She loves this thing. Absolutely adores it.
Mahiru:
Jinx. It kinda looks like her, right? It cute, it’s blue, it makes odd noises. Another solidarity kinda thing here.
Maya:
Patches. He looks like a potato. It’s making her hungry. This is patches. She keeps him in tip top shape. Oddly competitive during racing.
Kaoruko:
Sweetie. I think she would think the name is like her, sweet (She can believe what she will). She also wanted to match with Futaba-han’s bunny. Sigh... typical bunny fan. Oh yeah plus: Pink.
Junna:
Zaza (Why is it named that). It reminds her of someone but she can’t put a finger on it. Plus tigers are in a lot of literature. She tries her best to win races with it, probably has studied the aerodynamics of a Zhu-Zhu pet.
Hikari:
Greenbean. He’s a little freak, he’s a bit odd. Greenbean feels like a british name. The long hair and color reminds her of jelly fish tentacles.
Meme Dub Nana:
Luigi. Italian.

KaoTaba
Falls asleep on the couch: Kaoruko, naturally. The couch is practically her second bed Makes friends with the neighbors: Futaba, because Kaoruko is incapable of having non-hostile interactions with strangers Is the adventurous eater: Futaba, by necessity (has to eat everything Kaoruko rejects) Hogs the covers at night: Kaoruko would love to hog the covers but Futaba 1. gets to them first, and 2. is a very heavy sleeper Forgets to do the dishes: Kaoruko "forgets" to do the dishes Tries to surprise their partner more often: Kaoruko. Keyword being "tries" Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Futaba, surprisingly. Kaoruko's a lazy bum but she's not a slob god dammit Stays up til 2 AM reading: This is why Futaba is up to date with pretty much every shounen manga worthy of note Sings in the shower: Both, but Kaoruko is the one who gets embarrassed about it Takes the selfies: Futaba loves selfies. Kaoruko is actually pretty camera-shy Plans date night: Futaba, mainly after being told "okay Futaba-han I want you to plan our date for this weekend"

The jjk fandom on this website is dead to me. If you aren't in self insert erotica or Satosugu there's nothing for you. All the post is about getting it on with one of the adult character and you just can't see anything about them without fangirls screaming about sex
But you know since it's women doing it it's sexually liberating or whatever. At best they say "minors dni" but they couldn't care less about them, along with adults who don't care about it
They took over the whole tag, it's useless to visit it.
As for ososan, like I said, at least not everything is about sex, people do ocs so when I want to see cute shippy art it's not with a grey figure with writteb Y/N on it. Like thanks there's some space for people who aren't into self insert
And I guess it's just one anon being petty. In all the years I've been there I never saw someone acting like that.
I've been lucky as a creators. Nobody ever hated on my ocs and we developed them with my best friend. I can thank her for my confidence when it come to writing them and having fun with them
Yeah ocs can be badly written but I thought we were over associating them all to ebony darkness dementia
I feel like the only person who like characters without wanting to be romantically involved with them sometime
That sounds awful. All I can recommend is blocking all the people/posts that bother you. I had to do that + filter specific tags that people use (although not everyone uses the same charaXreader tag, so it's still 💀 in the end). Also, I do wish ppl put readmore's for their nsfw posts or long posts,,, (or just use community labels)
Maybe I got too used to how shipping is done in the ososan fandom. It's so much nicer there sometimes imo. I do hope that anon was just 1 person too. I haven't seen hate like that in a while unless we count twitter ff
And agreed on the OCs and the platonic stuff!! OCs and OC-making can be a lot of fun, especially with others. I'm personally not into self-shipping much either bc I prefer platonic content over romantic content in general (and self-insert tends to involve romance;;). Platonic/friendship stuff is already hard enough to find as it is nowadays so yeah it's a bias, rip
#asks#kaoruko-han#idk if its bc im ace/aroace but yeahhh it does get annoying and its why i dont visit tags often anymore#at least for mha asbfjska#also one time i blocked so many ppl in a tag that i broke the tag itself dhsjb 💀#so like. idk i wish blocking and muting worked better on Tumblr

I like sex and romance but only in fiction so I react with absolute disgust at self insert stuff. I know it won't disappear but I just... Really dislike the shift in fandom these last years. We aren't just fans of characters, obviously if you love one you want to have sex with them. Tag of them is filled with horny post.
Yeah sex was present before! But it was mostly around bl ship. It still exist to this day but there's much more self insert than before
And yeah don't be sex negative, don't shame women... But you always have the one to make an effort. It's never tagged. everyone is assumed to be into this.
A character can't be appreciated without loading him with romance and sex. Even canon aroace characters suddenly get hit by the "it's just fiction" argument because they can't do anything with a character than ship stuff
And today I realized.... it'll never change. Because to them all, we don't exist, and when we do express of we feel we are party popper, we shame them, we act superior.
I am basically venting. But I am tired to try to take less space and sugarcoat all I say about this subject so I'm not accused of things I do not say.
We will never be affected. So what's the point of being endlessly nice when we are still compared to plants and robots?
...Yeah, pop off. It gets exhausting, feels like nobody realizes how much it does but it does, so it's only fair to be fed up sometimes.
It's definitely the fact that no one ever seems to make an effort to think of us that gets me. And beyond that, no one ever seems to make an effort to respect us if we dare to voice anything. We're always the ones expected to either adapt, shut up, or idk, "change our minds" or something, like it's all that simple. It's very unbalanced and it gets exhausting.
