saiki kusuo no psi nan (2016 anime) fans (me and my gf) watching GOOD anime for the first time (the animation is decent (((characters do more than moving their mouth)))):

Kanon 2006 (and the rest of key's works) introduces the most lovable and sometimes annoying characters, slowly build them up so you'll fall in love, and then unleash tragedy or reveal something devastating about them. they do it over and over, but it works every time. i swear, key is the master of this technique.

So the results of my month long Key binge

Clannad - the classic the key show all key shows are compared to

Kanon - one of the greatest anime’s of the 2000s hands down. Mai fan for life!

Charlotte - terrible quit after 3 episodes

Little Busters - wonderful, a great departure from the Kanon format even if the heroes have the same dub voice

Air - my copy of the Toei film arrives next week and I am very excited.

Never honestly wanted to watch Angel Beats but don’t have much choice now lol

I'm so fatigued today, and my heart hurts >.< so lately I've been falling back into stupid moe shlop....its a craving, like potato chips. I've been watching the Kanon 2006 english dub and its so charming even though it suffers from Chronic Moe Jun Maeda Stupidity Disorder. I hate Jun Maeda soooo much. I keep playing his stuff 🤦🏽‍♂️ <-- sucker

Yuichi is way nicer in the show than in then vn. The show is actually better than the vn, so if you wanna see the story, just watch the show (trust me). I generally like the girls but the supernatural bullshit that ends up in their routes....is so dumb....its so disorganized.... Oh Mai, you poor lesbian, your whole arc was a disaster. Go off and be with your lovely transgenner wife. Yuichi can go be snarky elsewhere XD

Ayuayu is very cute and I love her, but I think Yuichi and Shiori are the best couple. They have a good romantic chemistry. Also Shiori's shawl is SOOO CUTE I really love girls with her sense of fashion. Ayuayu is endgame, but Shiori just feels right...😇

So this is my first time watching Clannad since I watched Kanon. Which, again, happened years ago.

There's a scene in afterstory where we get the gag of Nagisa pulling out another abomination bread Sanae made before the two gangs are supposed to duke it out. And the bread is followed by Nagisa pulling out "jam her mom's friend made to layer over top of it", that has to be Jam made by Akiko right?

If so I pity the guys that ate that, it's a miracle they survived.
