Hello! I’m a 20 y/o genderfluid person. I’m looking for a fandom romance plot. I’m looking for someone 18+ to play one or more characters for my oc. An uncommon version of a common name! There are a lot of people named 真鍋 Manabe, so I was able to assume the reading, but I'd never actually encountered the variant character 眞 before. And 眞鍋 is also read Manabe, or potentially Shinnabe.

眞, which is only used in proper nouns, is a variant of the jōyō kanji 真. Both characters mean true or reality, or Buddhist sect. They're read ま, まこと, or シン.

鍋 means pot, pan, kettle, or hotpot (yum!). It's read なべ or カ. This is another case where the left radical (金 metal) hints at the meaning and the right radical (咼) provides the on-yomi.

(Gotta admit: I didn't know what 咼 meant on its own [evil, dishonest, or crooked mouth]. It's rare, but it provides the on-yomi カ for kanji you should know, like 過 [exceed, too much, or past], 渦 [whirlpool, eddy, or vortex], and 禍 [calamity, misfortune, evil, curse].)

Notas: *En esta parte, mientras usan el kanji de “contradicción”, lo que cantan es “Mebius”. Con esto se refieren a la banda de Moebius es una superficie con una sola cara y un solo borde. Se forma tomando una cinta y juntando sus extremos, pero girando uno de ellos media vuelta antes de pegarlos. Y supongo que entra en este contexto como un sinónimo de “contradicción” ya que, dadas su propiedades, se le puede describir como “un objeto que desafía el sentido común”.

So yeah, this sheet literally won’t translate. XD 

Realistically, the left is obviously a height comparison. I would assume to Netto. But that kanji doesn’t even vaguely match with  光 熱斗. 

I believe the color transparency notation is for her lipstick. It seems to be pointing at her lips, and 口紅 at least sort of looks similar to that chickenscratch. 

I can’t begin to make an educated guess at the third note above her side-profile. 

*EDIT* Thanks to Midori as always, the third notation merely states no highlights for her hair. My other guesses were correct.

Morisanchuu: How will Perfume be like when everyone turns 50? N: I think we’ll still be together. K: Yeah, We do talk about it quite a bit huh - how the 3 of us will be like. I wonder if we’ll still be able to dance when we’re 50. A: That is a problem huh. 50 years old - that’d be around the same age as my mom. K: So it wouldn’t be weird to have a 20 year old daughter huh. N: Well, but I get the feeling that there’ll definitely be something interesting that we can’t imagine. Don’t you think so?

Kimura Kaela: If you were to change your hairstyle, how would it be like? K: Since I’ve always had long hair, I want to try having hair around as short as Nocchi’s, or maybe even Kaela-san’s. A: Since Kashimama’s is short too, it’ll probably look good. K: What about A-chan? A: Huh, I don’t have any in mind. N: What about the colour? A: Ah, well, it seems like it’ll be really fun to wear black clothes with hair that’s browner and brighter. K: That’s true, huh. It’ll change their impression on others. A: So I guess, maybe a bright colour or something? N: In my teens, I had hair about as long as Kashiyuka’s. But right now, I really feel like having a fringe again. K: You haven’t had a fringe in some time huh. A: Nocchimama has that hairstyle too. (Laughs) N: Yeah, all of my female family members have started having that hairstyle. K: Well, since everyone has more or less the same image, it probably looks good on everyone.

Takahashi Yuu: How do you keep the things you treasure? N: Well I do have a treasured items box. K&A: Me too. N: With like our matching bracelets. K: And straps. A: And costumes, as well as letters from fans - as much as six boxes. N: That’s amazing! A: That’s why I keep mine above. K: Ah, so you’re the above type? I’m the below type. The things I don’t have space for at home I leave at my parents’. N: I guess I’m the below type too. But they’re all scattered about in various places. A: Please keep them together! (Laughs)

Yuusuke Santamaria: What do guys do that make your hearts skip a beat? N: I like nasally voices. Nasal inflammations are the best! So if we’re talking about actions, I like it when they cough. Like “eghem” or something. A: Ain’t that no good! (Laughs) K: I like it when they make a face like nothing’s happened after they almost fall. Like when they think no one saw, and without letting out their voice, they gaze off to the side. A: Something that makes my heart skip a beat… The person I like!

MIKIKO: What are the moments that make you most happy for joining Perfume? N: Though there a plenty, recently it’s been when we receive choreography from Sensei, and being able to dance that really cute choreography makes me go, “This is the best!” K: For example, when we have our first lives at overseas locations, the moment we start, I often think, “Our dreams are coming true! Right now! Ah, I’m so glad that it’s the three of us, I’m so glad that it’s this team. There really isn’t any moment that’s happier than this!” A: Yeah, I understand that. We get really nervous, right? But somehow, standing on stage, overcoming our nervous selves, being together with our precious comrades, and at the very end, we say “Well then, we’re Perfume! Thank you very much!” And then when we bow, I often think that I’m really glad to have joined Perfume. Like, nothing can replace that sense of accomplishment, and I can’t get enough of it. N: It’s a bit complex, but I get it. And I’m sure Sensei thinks the same.

Miyagawa Daisuke: What are the parts about the others that you dislike, or wish would be changed? N: Well, I mean it’s not like I wish for it to change, but if I had to say it, there is something… So A-chan likes to eat tasty things, but she has a small appetite, so when she gets full in the middle of a meal, she’ll become a little moody. The first bite is her peak, like “it tastes so goood!!” All: (Laughs) K: I also have something about A-chan. A: Oh no! What could it be? Why is everyone choosing me? (Laughs) K: It’s not like I dislike it or want it changed, so it’s like just some info, but there are times when she really gets into the choreography, and gets into a groove, and becomes unable to dance normally. All: (Laughs)

Pornograffiti: What kind of house do you live in right now? N: I’ve tried out various spacious floor plans, but the clutter began to build up, so now I’ve tightened it up. A: You remodeled a lot huh. N: I did. It’s left me worn out. K: You threw away quite a lot of things, right? N: Yeah. A: All at once, right? N: Yup. A: As for me, my kitchen doesn’t have partitions to separate it from the rest of the living room, so I have to keep it clean. Other than that, the scenery is pretty. K: Because it’s high up, huh. Chatmonchy: What kind of pajamas do you wear to sleep? N: Recently, I’ve been wearing rompers, the one that look like a pair of shorts and a T-shirt joined together. The thin one. K: I’m finally wearing the one I got from A-chan. A: Really? I’m happy! The organic cotton one right? K: I got it for my birthday but I thought I’d be too cold if I wore it in winter since it’s thin. So I’ve finally gotten to wearing it recently. A: Recently I’ve been particular about the materials. Maximum the Hormone: If you had to get a tattoo, what and where would you get it inked? N: I think, I’d get something tattooed onto my scalp after shaving my hair. K: How scary! A: Wouldn’t that be troublesome for the tattoo artist? (Laughs) K: I’d tattoo a triangle onto the back of my neck. A: Ah! The fashionable sort. K: If I got something like that, I wonder if it’d make feel like an android. A: I can’t imagine it, but I like the kanji for strict (厳) because I think it’s the most balanced. Manabe Daito: What’s the hardest challenge you’ve faced from using technology? N: The pressure from Cannes was overwhelming, huh. K: Yeah. A: We had to wear the machinery on our shoulders for about an hour huh. K: Yeah, on standby. A: Yeah, after putting on the costumes and turning the switch on, the nervousness continued to build. Usually for our lives we put on our costumes right before the performance begins. But for Cannes, we didn’t know when our turn would come, and we didn’t know if we could smoothly put on the machinery, so we decided to get dressed earlier. K: But overcoming that slow build-up was really fun, right? Like, the feeling of slowly getting closer to our goal was really enjoyable. A: Yeah. That’s why we’d like to continue to challenge new things, so we’ll continue to await any new proposals too. N: We’ll be in your care.

Seki Kazuaki: What MV(s) did you dislike filming? A: Wasn’t the reverse playback really difficult? K: That’s what I thought of too. N: (Groans) A: (Laughs) But, y'know, wasn’t Seki-san waiting for that answer? K: All that hard work… A: In the second chorus of Magic of Love, though it looks like we’re dancing normally, the truth is that we danced it in reverse. K: From the way our hairs fly up, and the balls move backwards, you can tell that it was in reverse. A: Yup yup. And the movements were a little weird too. (Laughs) That really was difficult.. N: We had to download a reverse playback application. A: Yeah, and we recorded a lot with it, and because it was so difficult, we had to save all of it. K&N: (Laughs) A: And when we tried doing it for real it looked really bad. K: We took quite a lot of takes huh. But it turned into an interesting MV, huh. A&N: Yeah. A: I really love that MV.

Notes from the Nakata interview - It’s been about 14 years since they became acquainted. Nakata was about 22-23 at the time. Perfume were around 14-15. - Nakata used to look much more like an uncle than he does now. His hair was short, and was blacker. He was wearing sunglasses too. It’s because he thoughts adults were cooler, so he wanted to look like one sooner. - A-chan practiced hard to get the strange rhythm for Oishii Recipe down, but Nakata was very cold during the recording, which made her feel frustrated and tear a bit. - Nakata talks about why he gets his vocalists to sit down while recording but I don’t really get what he means because it’s too abstract. - Nakata uses auto-tune just because he thinks the songs would sound better and cooler with it. - Computer City was the changing point in Perfume’s attitudes towards Nakata’s music. It was the song that made Perfume understand what Nakata was going for with his music. They brought the single’s poster to their high school to promote it. Before that, they used to be embarrassed about and keep quiet about their activities. - The reason Nakata doesn’t really go to Perfume’s lives is because he doesn’t want it to change his impression of what songs he should be making for Perfume. - Nakata thinks it’s important where a person is born, and he tries not to make music that can’t have its place of origin identified by the listener. So he doesn’t really go overseas much because he’s afraid of having his music sense changed.

Ahh, what a sweet message! It's so nice to hear support like this even though I haven't translated anything in weeks ;w; I'll get back to translation eventually, I promise~!As for your questions, I'm not Japanese unfortunately! I need a visa to live here and I'm currently working as an English language assistant in Kyoto with JET! But I plan to stay a long time : )As for learning Japanese, this is a massive journey and I commend everyone who embarks upon it! It can be long and tedious but there are moments when you find something you really want to read but it's all in Japanese and suddenly you can read it - and that's what's made it worth it to me, in my opinion! So there are a lot of resources online that teach you how to learn Japanese but I'll give my personal methods~* For grammar: Find a decent textbook! I found 初・中級日本語文法要点整理ポイント20 Sho/Chuu Kyuu nihongo bunpou youten seiri point 20 to be the best one for me so far. I also recently started using Shinkanzen Master, which is aimed for JLPT test takers.* For vocab: What I like to do is find a novel I want to read and go through it page by page picking out all the vocab I don't know and writing it in a notebook, then learning its pronunciation and meaning! It takes a long time but I think it helps a lot! Amazon Japan is good for novels, or feel free to ask if you need help choosing a Japanese novel!* For kanji: Ahh kanji, one of the hardest parts of Japanese! At the end of the day I think there's no other way than writing kanji out every day until it sticks in your head! As for remembering the meaning, I find it helps to learn vocab associated with the kanji! I recommend the app Imi Wa for kanji information!* For listening: If possible try watching live-action Japanese TV! * For writing: I recommend the app HelloTalk to chat to native Japanese speakers!* For speaking: can't do this so I can't give advice ^^'* For enjoyment: Find a series you love but there are still many resources all in Japanese/ not available in English so you'll be encouraged to try to understand all the info through Japanese! Inazuma has been my motivation for studying Japanese~! And Danball Senki has been even better since there's barely anything in English, haha.諦めずに進んでいく！ Keep going without ever giving up! For Galaxy, I've found an energy drink in most supermarkets (I'm afraid to taste it...) with Tenma and the Earth Eleven, and I found a Chrono Stone kanji practice notebook. In specialized shops, like doujin shops, Galaxy has its own section but I've never looked in detail... And of course, second hand manga stores have Galaxy character books etc... And the games are everywhere. As for specific merch, if you like specific characters online is the best way to find that, though Nakano Broadway in Tokyo had a lot of Inazuma stuff like posters, stickers, mugs, towels... New Character Contest: Character designs that were created by fans that will appear in the anime and games The girl’s name is Ponko and the boy is called Hyoujo Mo comments his mouth is always like that - it looks like the number three or waves I think the girl character is an actual tanuki that turns into a human They talk about how cute she is; Mo praises the design and Hino says it’s a perfectly created tanuki - a real tanuki They reminisce about the kappas from the original series They also bring up the fact that playing soccer barefoot is dangerous They congratulate the two winning designs, then Hino comments that it’s a wonderful idea that fan designs can appear in the show and games. Mo asks him if he is praising himself (for the idea).

Valentine Event Character Ranking: The Inazuma Valentine’s Event 2017 ran from the 10th-17th of February on Twitter where fans could Tweet chocolate/sweets/food/pictures and ‘give’ them to their chosen character by hashtagging the name of the event and their character’s name. Each tweet counted as one vote. They received about 4,500 tweets and while they’d like to, they can’t show everything so they’ll show as many as possible. They really praise the effort fans took - making their own chocolate, drawing pictures, coming up with their own scenarios etc…

Here are some of the comments about specific characters. 

Shindou I think they said he received a lot, and they talked about one of the managers calling him Shin-sama

Gazelle The girl’s message to Gazelle apologised in her tweet since she felt she failed in making her cupcakes. Mo explains the picture of the bar of chocolate surrounded by ice-packs as Gazelle giving a ‘cool/cold’ impression.

Burn Mou explains the tulip theme is because of his hair, according to a lot of fans

Asuto Of course, Asuto-kun’s candy is the sun. Mo says ‘Go for it!�� Is that a catchphrase?

Haizaki It’s a bento rather than chocolate, but it’s wonderfully made, right down to the bangs Mo says this character is well-loved

Nosaka The picture of him on the cake was drawn by hand, Mo seems impressed

Endou The gold Endou-kun figure in one of the photos is a charm, called an o mamori in Japanese, and Endou-kun’s name is Mamoru (same kanji) Mo says looks like an Ikemen/hottie in one of the pictures, and Hino can’t believe it’s Endou-kun but Mo insists it is. She says he looks cool.

Kinako They’re both happy to see Kinako-chan. Mo says she ranked very high. Hino comments that she’s popular in spite of being a girl, and Moe corrects him that it doesn’t matter than she’s a girl - she’s popular regardless.

Midorikawa Hino mentions Hiroto makes an appearance on the top cupcake, then corrects himself that his name has changed to Tatsuya. I think Mo mentions something about using matcha to make green food, Hino adds because he has a ‘green’ image (like his name means green).

Kira Hiroto All of his gifts are gum, not chocolate. Mo says, Happy Valentine! Here’s gum.

Goal Even Goal-san is loved.

Hakuryuu The captions in his picture are Hakuryuu protesting that he doesn’t eat sweet things, while his fan insists by shoving it into his mouth, and he calls her ‘kisama!’. Mo says fans love him because he’s cool.

Ibuki The atmosphere is kind of tense in this picture, like she’s apologising while giving him the chocolate Mou comments he’s popular because he played basketball as well as soccer

Aki Mo says the picture for Aki-chan looks like official art. Hino agrees and I think he says it looks exactly like a picture by a particular artist

Kogure He got frog-shaped chocolate

Wandaba Mo says he gets chocolate because Kidou is inside of him (same voice actor)

Manabe A lot of pictures have homework, and Mo mentions he’s popular

Gojou Mo says Gojou-san is great.

Kageyama Steel-bar shaped chocolate. Hino says the fans have thought this through, and Mo says reluctantly that Kageyama is popular.

Even Hino and Mo got gifts. They once again praise the quality of the gifts, despite fans only having a week. Hino’s happy that the characters are so loved.

Top 10 Character Ranking: Hino comments that even though they only had one week, so many people send tweets. A lot of magazines like Animage already guessed the most popular characters in their last issues, and they bring out one article as an example (for reference, that magazines lists Kazemaru, Fudou, Tatsuya, Aphrodi, Fubuki, Kidou, Gouenji, Endou, Gojou in that order as their guesses). Hino makes a joke about asking people to buy the magazine they showed (Famitsu?).

Kirino - 113 Tweets “I’ve been supporting Kirino since my youth. And he’s still my favourite today.”

Mo says the picture looks really high quality, like something from a real manga or an anime frame, the image of him accepting the chocolate with a smile. Then I think (and I could be wrong) Hino mentions that afterwards he’s going to have a worried look, which is why Mo reacts with ‘kowai, kowai, kowai…!’, meaning scary. (If I’m right, this is because Kirino shows hesitation about being popular with girls/ receiving things like Valentine’s…) EDIT: I’m completely wrong. Hino says the girl who drew the picture should come work for him as an animator lol

Tsurugi - 115 Tweets “Please take my honmei choco*!!! And because you look freezing, please take this scarf too!”

Hino says there was a fair amount of tweets for Tsurugi, and Mo adds because he’s cool. Hino then mentions that Kirino and Tsurugi were the two from Tenma’s story to make the top ten. They talk about the picture and Hino comments he doesn’t think Tsurugi looks cold at all, but he does look embarrassed. Mo says Tsurugi is a tsundere, except in front of his brother - then he acts like an angel.

Gouenji - 131 Tweets “The strawberries are fire, the whipped cream is your hair, and the blueberries are what the ball looks like after you make a shoot.” His gifts are supposed to look like his face/image. Mo likes him so she was upset he wasn’t ranked higher, and only got 8th. A letter from the fan says she loves every aspect of Gouenji, from his hair to his face seen from the side to the kanji for his name. This fan loves him so much she can’t express it, and asks him to eat the cake she made if it’s alright.

Aphrodi - 134 Tweets “Kami no cocoa. When you drink it you’ll feel refreshed.” Mo says Aphrodi is a really popular character, loved by everyone. Hino comments on the Kami no Coco. They go to the next picture, and the message reads: “Don’t worry, it’s not Kami no Aqua - it’s Kami no Hot Chocolate!” Hino and Mo feel like these two would be friends, and find it amusing. They talk about how Aphrodi is cool.

Sakuma - 145 Tweets “I’ll be your biggest fan from here on too! I’m supporting you! Do your best as a player for Teikoku and with the new coach!” They talk about the eyepatch bear-chan, and the origami penguins. They mention Sakuma has become captain.

Kidou - 196 Tweets “For White Day, I’d like a written notification for an offer to join Kidou financial group and Teikoku! Oops, you’ve seen my ambition!” Hino says Kidou’s finally appeared. Mo says that while Kidou received a lot of chocolate, they chose the picture which really went all out to include everyone, like the koutei penguins, penguin Sakuma and Genda, Kageyama and even Gojou. Hino says it looks like a wallpaper. Another message from a fan says she made lots of onigiri chocolate, so please eat them with your close friends at Teikoku.

Kiyama Tatsuya (Hiroto) - 226 Tweets “I love Kiyama, who always does his best to believe in his own path!! I’m looking forward to see what you do next!” They talk about the cookies, in the form of Aliea, Ina Japan and even kappas. This fan mention since she can’t cook, she drew a picture. He’s liked no matter what his name. Hino mentions that when this person watches today’s PV, she’ll be amazed, and Mo teases him about praising himself again.

Fudou Akio - 374 Tweets “Akio-chan, act as you did before.” (I saw him called Fudou-chan/Akio-chan on the chat quite a lot too, must be a thing…) They mention he’s very popular, and talk about the bear in the photo dressed as an Inazuma Japan rep.

Fubuki Shirou - 374 Tweets “The white thing is a scarf. I like Fubuki no matter what series.” Mo says the Fubuki-shaped cookies are absolutely adorable. Hino comments that the design is great, right down to the scarf, and Mo says they look like they could be sold as professional character-based cookies. Although the new Fubuki has no scarf.

Kazemaru Ichirouta - 512 Tweets “I’ve supported you since I fell in love with you at first sight nine years ago! In contrast to you cool appearance, you’re so caring and sacrifice yourself for your team, with a warm Inazuma spirit. Do your best in Teikoku too! I’ll continue to support you from here!” Mo says Famitsu (the magazine that guessed the top-ranking characters) and Animage were right, and Hino agrees it’s amazing a character got over 500 tweets, a huge amount. They congratulate Kazemaru.

They both mention they’re curious about Gojou’s rank, then move o to commenting on the top 50 character ranking.

From 50-30 (Character ranking can be found on my tumblr) Even Kageyama’s name is there, in 50th place, with some female and GO characters. And in 33rd place is Hino himself! Before Desarm-san (34th) and behind Fideo (32nd). He thanks fans, as he’s happy, then Mo teases him if he eats all that chocolate he’ll get fat again. Hino mentions Matatagi (36th) and is impressed GO Galaxy characters made it. Hino mispronounces Matatagi’s name (Matatabi?) and Mo teases him that Japanese is difficult.

From 28-11 Both Hino and Mo talk about Minamisawa-senpai (22nd) (they call him senpai) for a little bit, as if they were expecting him to appear. Gojou-san got 21st. Hino looks amused that he’s near Minamisawa-senpai’s ranking. They mention Minamisawa-senpai’s pink phone. Hino notes Sangoku-san didn’t make it. Mo says he was 62nd. They talk about him for a bit, saying he’s very caring, though Hino calls him the ‘keeper who can’t stop goals’ and that there’s nothing really he’s able to stop, no joke. (Translator’s Notes: apologies to sangoku-san) They say it’s a pity Endou is in 11th place, just missing the top 10 Tenma is only 26th, even though he’s the protagonist of GO. Mo assures him tenma is very popular so it’s okay.

They thank everyone again for participating, then say they’ll give their White Day gift - a message from the top three characters.

Fudou’s Message (I’m so sorry, but I had trouble understanding the second part of his message, so I’ll need more time before I can translate it properly!) It seems like you went through a lot of effort to give me unnecessary things. Well, since you went through all that trouble, I guess I’ll accept. But (missing) this isn’t a thank you or anything. What? You want something in return? No way!

Hino smiles and says he’s very rude to fans. Mo says that’s the part of Fudou fans like. Hino wonders if this ‘thank you’ message is really okay… Still, it’s a Fudou-kun-like comment. So that’s Fudou’s ‘thank you’.

Fubuki’s Message

Thank you for these wonderful gifts!
I have to say something appropriate in response to your thoughts, right?
It might be difficult for Atsuya to feel the same way, but he’s not a bad person.
Because we’re going to show you cool moves together, stay with us from here on out too! 

 Hino comments Atsuya made a guest appearance in his picture, then I think they said his ranking was quite low in the top 50. They said Fubuki-kun’s voice sounds genki and confident - he’s a new Fubuki-kun compared to the previous series, thanks to Atsuya.

Kazemaru’s Message That you remembered me like this makes me so happy!! Now I’m running in a new ground… I feel a different wind, with new feelings. But, I have a feeling not good things are going to happen… Whatever happens from here on, I’ll only run forward, without forgetting Raimon spirit! I’m depending on you to support me!

They said Kazemaru-san gave a perfect ‘thank you’.

Another White Day gift is the picture (Kaze, Fubu, Fudou), which can be downloaded from the Inazuma Walker page in many sizes. They talk about the picture for a bit, how all three look cool and Shirou’s doing his special training with his ski board to become like the wind, and Kazemaru-san has his running tracksuit. They said Atsuya’s not in this pic, but he makes his guest appearance in Shirou’s message.

Hino and Moe talk about how fans think so carefully about the InaIre characters, and they’re glad they held the event.
