"how long?" yoshi's eyes are wet as he looks at you, cheeks red. you can't imagine how much of a mess you look like in comparison, but you see so much in his face now. relief, most of all, but a little bit of fear, too. it comes with the territory of confessions you can't take back.

nervously, you lick your lips as you watch him. how long...? when you try to think about it, your heart wants to say since the moment i first saw you. but you don't think that's true, as romantic as it would be. was it that night after work when it was pouring down rain, and he shared an umbrella with you to get you to a taxi? or the hazy afternoon where he quietly refilled your water bottle when he was up refilling his own, just to help you beat the heat a bit more? or the night when you all went drinking after work and he sat with you, so mindful of how out of place you always seemed to feel, and included you in all of his conversations? maybe since the moment i first saw you is true in a way. you can't pinpoint it. you don't remember what you felt for him before you fell.

you swallow hard, and blink back your own tears, that overwhelming feeling pulling you under. but yoshi's hands find your own, squeezing them tight as he leans toward you, kissing your forehead.

"it's okay--" he sniffles, dropping one of your hands to wipe at his eyes. "i'm happy. i'm--"

but you just pull him into your arms, hugging him tight. he holds you, letting out a sigh as he decides to let himself fall for you all over again.

and then he speaks, just soft enough that it's a moment for the two of you alone. "i like you a lot, too."

One of your least favorite sights in the world was the sight of your boyfriend upset. On the very slight bright side, you at least knew why that was: Yoshinori was homesick. He’d see families out and about when the two of you went for walks together, and you’d see the way his smile faltered a little bit. You’d always squeeze his hand reassuringly, and he’d meet your eyes before smiling again, but you knew he missed his mom and his sisters.

Which meant you’d find a way to cheer him up. Hyunsuk and Jihoon had let you into the apartment that morning before heading out for a bit, and you’d decided to focus on making something sweet for breakfast while Yoshi was still asleep. At some point, Junkyu had wandered into the kitchen before spotting you and rubbing his eyes. He furrowed his brows, looking around for a moment as if he didn’t just come from his shared room with Yoshi.

“Yoshi’s asleep—”

“Let him sleep,” you had said. “I’ll wake him up when I’m done.” You paused while plating up another pancake. “Want a few? I made plenty.”

He’d merely stolen one off of the top, taking a bite. He shut his eyes, slowly chewing as he savored it. “You’re amazing.” 

With a smile, you’d merely shrugged. This was far from the first time you’d heard that from one of Yoshi’s housemates—namely coming after you’ve cooked for any of them. “I know. Like I said… Don’t wake Yoshi up yet.” 

Of course, things didn’t go entirely according to plan. Eventually he’d made his way to the bathroom, only realizing the smell of pancakes in the air on his return trip to his room. When he’d seen you, he’d only slightly complained about you not waking him up… but he’d let it go easily enough. His face had fallen into your shoulder as he wrapped his arms around you, slowly waking up while you finished off the last of the batter.

“So…” You’d said to him while he was enjoying breakfast. “I’ve been thinking…”

He looked up. “Hm?”

“I wanna give you your Christmas present early.” 

Immediately, you heard the clatter of a fork, and Yoshi’s soft apology. “I haven’t bought yours yet—”

“That’s okay,” you said. “I really didn’t expect anything today. I just…” You reached for your bag, opening it up to pull out an envelope. “I kinda have to tell you now.” 

Yoshi glanced from your face down to the envelope you were now holding out to him, mouth slightly agape as he accepted it. You watched with a smile as he slipped his fingers underneath the fold, slowly tearing it open as he pulled out two plane tickets. His head jerked up as he looked at you.

“These are—”

“Before you say anything,” you stopped him, “I didn’t pay for these alone.”

“But how did you—”

“Your mom and sisters helped me work something out,” you said. “Merry Christmas?”

He slowly pushed the tickets back into their envelope, clearly unsure of what to say. “I… Thank you, but—I thought we were going to pay for this trip together.”

The two of you had been discussing this for months now: he’d wanted you to meet his family in-person. He was serious enough about you, and video calls didn’t feel like enough. You rested your head in one hand. “I know. We can take another trip together in the future. I just… You’ve clearly been homesick for a while now, and I really hate seeing you so upset.”

“I…” He sniffled, reaching up to wipe his eyes on his sleeve. “You didn’t have to.” 

“I wanted to,” you said. “And I figured I should tell you now so we can figure out our plans.”

Yoshi stood up so that he could lean over the table and kiss you as best he could. “I love you,” he mumbled against your lips, and when he pulled away, you could see him wiping at his eyes again. “They’re going to love you, too,” he said, voice softer this time. “My mom already does, but…”

You just smiled to yourself, admiring him as he went back to eating—excitedly already talking about the places he’d show you back home. Sure, you’d met his family through plenty of video calls, but this was different. And if it meant you’d see Yoshi this happy… You’d have to sneak around and do this again sometime.

“Yoshi.” You sigh, “Stop that right now.”

In the past ten minutes of your walk with your pixie friend, he’s flicked or poked at one of your tails at least twelve times. Normally, his mischievous nature doesn’t get under your skin. You’re a rather patient person. Today, for whatever reason, each time he messes with you, the closer you get to snapping at him. A giggle floats through the air. When you turn, Yoshi is smiling widely, his pearly fangs shining in the light. You’re half tempted to reach over and flick his pointed ear, but you maintain your composure still.

“What?” He feigns innocence, “I was getting a leaf off your tail!”

“That’s what you said the last three times, Yoshi…” You remind him.

“Hmm, must be some tree nymphs playing around then.” He enthuses with a flutter of his wings.

You shake your head, knowing it’s just in his nature to play games like this, especially with people he enjoys being with. You pull the tail he was messing with forward into your hands. Smoothing out the teal and white fur, you note the lack of leaf or tree bits. Even if he were being helpful, you would’ve known. As a Jikan Kitsune, you have phenomenal hearing. Not only do you hear the slightest bit of air moving, but you can also hear other people’s thoughts if you wish. Most times, you choose not to. What people think is not your business. Just as you and Yoshi fall back into a rhythm and into mindless conversation, you feel a tug at a different tail. You turn your head just in time to see Yoshi pulling his hand away from where your nine tails are. He gives you an innocent smile again, showing off his fangs and fluttering his pretty transparent wings. A few bits of its silver, glittery coating fall to the ground. He once tried to explain what it was. You simply understood it as a dusting over them to protect them from the elements.

For some reason, that tug was your last straw with him. Instead of firmly telling him to stop, you find yourself backing him against a wall, pinning him there with a hand around his throat. The moment you do so, you hear his breath hitch, and his eyes go wide. He’s not scared despite you baring your teeth and pinning your fox ears back. He almost looks pliable, desperate even. Your eyes flit to his wings for a brief moment, and watch as they twitch just the slightest bit. Another bit of the glittery dusting rubs off on the bricks.

“What did I fucking ask you to do, Yoshinori.” You speak lowly, a growl invading your tone.

“You told me to stop.” He barely breathes out his response.

“And what did you not do?” You press further.

He gulps. You can feel his Adams Apple bob against your palm.

“I can read your thoughts, Yoshi. I think it’s best that you respond out loud.”

“I didn’t listen,” his breath hitches again, “I kept messing with you.”

You read his mind again for a brief moment to catch him thinking, “Oh god, please.” You smirked at the notion of what he was asking for. Which, in turn, causes him to squirm a bit under your gaze. He knows you read his thoughts, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to have a silver tongue again.

“If I knew you would react like this, I wouldn’t have done it.” he bites back weakly.

“Not what your thoughts are saying.” You supply, “We both know that, don’t we?”

“Fuck.” you hear his thoughts go nearly blank after the simple word. Finally, you release his neck, and he lets out a small gasp when you take a step away from him. That sparkly, slightly dazed look is still in his eyes. After a few moments, it fades, and he processes that you’re indeed still in public. He clears his throat and stands up straight again. He stretches his wings out fully and flaps them a few times before looking at you again. 

“Can we-” he stops himself, tucking a bit of the silver half of his hair behind his pointed ear.

“Hmm?” You feign innocence this time.

“Your apartment.” He states quietly, a piece of his brown hair falling in his eye as he looks at you.

“Come on.”

You grab his wrist and practically drag him through the park and back to your apartment. Not once have you ever crossed the boundary between friends and more with Yoshi. Today, you will. The moment you have the door shut, Yoshi spins you to be pressed against the wall. You’re so shocked by the sudden movement that you let out a small yelp before you kiss him back. One of your tails teases along his leg while the others flick at their own accord at the sensation. One of his small, sharp fangs digs into your lip. Not enough to break the skin but enough to tease and ask to deepen the kiss.

Instead of complying, you take him completely by surprise and flip your positioning. Yet again, Yoshi is pinned to a wall by you. A small gasp escapes his lips before you nudge his chin up with a gentle press of your finger. Your lips immediately take purchase on his neck, leaving small fleeting kisses along the side. Just when you reach the base of his neck, right by his collarbone, you let one of your own fangs tease along the slightly shimmery skin. 

“Your thoughts sound so pretty, Yoshi. How about you say them out loud?”

He shakes his head in defiance.

“No? Do I need to force it out of you?”

In response, you get a small whimper. Again, taking him by surprise, you step away from him entirely. His eyes fixate on your teal and white tails swishing behind you. Your eyes swirl dangerously with arousal. Yoshi’s are far too dilated and glittery for him to be anywhere near Earth.

“Go to my room. Strip.”

You’ve grown a habit of reading his thoughts, it seems. When you fixate your fox ears on him, you hear him think, “Finally, please, oh god, please.” and you’re more than satisfied with what you hear. Without another word, Yoshi is fluttering his way down the hallway, little bits of silver dust falling behind him. You linger behind, fixing your hair as you stalk up behind him. When you reach the threshold of your bedroom, you’re greeted with the sight of your pixie friend naked and painfully hard already.

“At least you know how to listen now.” You tease.

“I know I’m about to fuck you.” He responds with a snarky tone.

Hmm doesn’t sound bad, I walk towards my phone on the counter to text my parents he’s staying over and while waiting for their reply Yoshi walks up behind me, snaking his arms around my waist and places his chin on my shoulder “You’re awfully clingy today” I say, questioning his actions. You averted your gaze, and gave him the shyest nod. He laughed, taking the step he needed to take to stand before you, and leaned in to kiss your cheek.

“We can come back tomorrow,” he said. “And get lost again, if you want. I don’t mind.”

“Then… We’ll come back next year,” he squeezed your hand again. “Okay?”

please, every single time a tweet or weverse comes out with this boy’s film work, i literally swoon bc how is asahi literally the epitome of my aesthetic? he has the most beautiful pieces of photography ever and captures the smallest yet important moments with the members. that one thread of his film photos while he was out with ruto, hwan, jaehyuk, and i think also jeongwoo? those are my favorite roommates right there. that being said, because a lot of times, asahi takes candid photos of others in their natural state, he finds himself feeling really important and wanted when you show him a photo you had secretly taken of him. to him, it kind of feels like your way of saying, “hey, i think you’re beautiful in the times you might not think you are, because you’re perfect to me no matter what.” this bby wouldn’t know how to react when you show him because he’s so overwhelmed with emotion that he kind of just smiles and shrinks into himself, PLS he’s so adorable.

ah kim doyoung, our resident angel. we all know how our precious boy (or literally all of treasure) is so respectful of everyone whether he’s close with them or not, but his manner hands whenever he’s passing stuff to someone, or the way he seems to feed or give food to others before himself is something that tells me that our dobby would be absolutely enamored with someone with the same mannerisms. the first time he took you out to a family dinner (family dinner meaning a dinner with the other members), he would literally swoon when he catches you holding your hand under his sleeve when he’s reaching for something at the table, or when he catches you sneaking his favorite chicken pieces onto his plate. dobby sees you sitting back to let the other boys serve themselves before you, or to hand dish plates past you before taking food for yourself, and he can’t help but think about how perfect you guys are for each other.

the way you get along with his sister

we know that haruto loves airi so so much. the way he speaks about her and thinks about her during tmap so 37 (?) shows how much he loves his family, and how much he protects and cares for his sister. so when haruto sees you and airi playing and joking around with each other, completely comfortable with skinship as if she were your own little sister, he absolutely melts. just knowing that there’s someone other than his family that can make her smile has him feeling some kind of way, and a fond smile can’t help but make his way onto his face. he might tease you, asking if you like his sister better than him and pretending his heart doesn’t skip a beat when he sees you braiding airi’s hair, but the question alone just shows that he appreciates that you’re getting along with his family (and that he might be a little jealous lol).

mr. i can’t take a compliment but i will hype literally everyone i care about. ah, our lovely boy. our jeongwoo’s always been a little shy - no matter how loud he is, he’s still a true introvert and this might be why he finds it hard to take compliments easily. it breaks my heart when he says things that imply that he’s not handsome or that the other members are more handsome than he is because he’s so beautiful on the inside and outside, so i think that his s/o should often remind him of this. he would definitely feel butterflies when you compliment anything about him, his voice, his look for the day, his skills, his personality, blushing and looking down with a smile because he doesn’t know where to look. ask him why he’s so handsome, ask him what made him look so pretty, ask him why he’s so talented and amazing that you can’t believe how lucky you are to have him - this boy will not know what to do with himself. jeongwoo is so so so precious, and i hope that he realizes how much we all love him because he deserves the world. fun fact: jeongwoo is the first member i noticed (besides having already known yedam from the skz survival show) because i thought he was so pretty and funny lol.

i think we’re all well aware that our poor baby is just working his butt off to survive high school and i want to commend him immensely for all the hard work he’s put in academically while balancing the idol life. i don’t think i could ever survive a lifestyle as fast-paced as the one this boy lives and i’m so extremely proud of him for it. that being said, something tells me that junghwan would just absolutely appreciate any help and support you would give him while he’s balancing practice and school work. whether it be quizzing him for the next big exam he has or helping him out with chores just so that he doesn’t have to worry about them, he will fall for you a little bit more than he already has. he might not outright ask you for help, but the way that you somehow pick up on what he needs without him saying anything has him feeling a little more butterflies in his stomach just because of the way you know him so well without him even having to mention anything.

a/n: my first ever fic wohoo!! i wanted to start off by writing something for my ultimate bias yoshi sooooo.. well yeah please do request something on my profile if you like my writing!! i really appreciate all tips and support!

you were laying on your bed trying to stay awake. you had promised your boyfriend, yoshi to wait until he gets home to eat dinner together. you had woken up early to shower, clean the house, wash the dishes, change the sheets.

you got up from the bed walking over to your sofa and turning on the tv to watch your favourite series. episode 11, it's almost over. the main characters are still not together.

you kept closing your eyes almost falling asleep many times. you waited, and waited. the episode was over. no sign of yoshi. you started the last episode. 10 minutes in and you were crying. they had gotten together but the lead male killed the lead female. you couldn't watch it. you turned it off and opened youtube in hopes of finding some funny videos to laugh at. you did. but yoshi came home before you could start it.

"baby, i'm home" he called for you kicking his shoes off. "baby?" he called when you didn't run to hug him, or kiss him, or welcome him home. no you were laying on the sofa, all broken because of the drama, and because you were way too tired.

he walked to the living room. he was you and immediatly his eyes softened. "what's wrong?" he asked. "you're late" you answered. "i know baby, i'm so sorry" he said softly as he kneeled down in front of you caressing your shoulder while looking into your eyes. "you're never on time" you said feeling the urge to just start screaming at him and cry how worried he always makes you.

"baby.." he called looking down. "you know i don't do it bacause i want, i have no other choice" he was now caressing your head. his hand was comforting. he was comforting. you began crying. "sorry baby" you knew he felt bad. he hugged you. he kept mumbling sorry against your head silently. he let go of you when you tried to get up.

you sat up and stood on your legs. he got up too. you went to the kitchen. he followed you. you opened the fridge and pulled out three containers of food. you had made it for you two. you set them on the table and opened them. you grabbed the two plates you had earlier set down on the table. the fancy ones. you took one of them and took food on it. you warmed it up in the microwave. after it was heated you grabbed a fork and a knife and left him standing alone. you were mad. you for the first time actually were.

you were sitting on your shared bed staring at the screen of your laptop in front of you. you head the ding sound your microwave made. he had heated his food. you didn't hear the screeching your chairs would usually make so you assumed he was coming into the bedroom to be with you. you were right. he sat down next to you. you thought he would start eating but he set it aside on the bedside table.

"baby, can you look at me?" he asked softly. you did. you were looking at his eyes, he was on the verge of crying. you could tell. "i love you so damn much i could never leave you without any message for hours if it wasn't for my manager... he took our phones away and talked to us about some things" he explained.

"i know" you answered. you knew, you just wanted him to say it by himself. he kissed you. softly. just like he always did. he made you feel more loved than ever. something only he knew how to do.
