I am here

After coming back to Japan, it's been tough for everything to be honest. I think it is the second culture shock. Also my creation brain and sense were not working for a while. However recently the excited feeling for a creation is back. It's like creation kana woke up.. I can feel the energy inside me, want to express! Now I have started making a collection for next season. So I write here about the process of my creation more. :) I AM HERE.

Power of Fashion

I remember the age when I started being interested in clothes. It was during the time in my Junior High School. I just wanted to be more individual by wearing different clothes from the other friends. I really enjoyed to wear what I like, and those clothes made me happy and so special.

At the time, people wore crazy clothes and had crazy hair style in Tokyo. It was the kind of competition who is most stylish. Even the trend become a part of Japanese sub culture. And I am sure it inspired many people. Clothes are second skin for human, which means part of their identity. Of course it required practical part, but usually people wear what they need, what suits them, or what they like. It depends on weather, time and place. Also depends on the purpose such as work, party, holiday, extra..... I am wondering how many people think that their clothes can be a part of their identity. If you think about it, you might consider more what you want to wear for your self. Would you like to wear £3 shirts from somewhere? Of course that's your choice.

Now I am a creator side. When I make collection, all my spirits and thought are going into the clothes. And I wish people enjoy and feel confident to wear kaNASHKA clothes.

Do you remember the Cinderella story? I just want to be the witch who gave a beautiful dress and glasses shoes for her. It change her life in the story. If people can be positive even a bit by wearing kaNASHKA like Cinderella, I think that's my goal.

As a designer, what can I do, what can I share for this world? I am still thinking. It must be freeness and infinite.
