A HELPFULL GUIDE TO THE RAMPAGE FROM EXILE TRIBE BY CHU-CHU

Hi Guys! I see that there are many new Rampage fans - Ravers - among us and I would like to introduce the members to you. Other than formal group information, some of it will be my own opinions. You can easily find other official informations about the group on the web. Rather, I want to share with you how I see each member, what impression they made on me, and what I liked or found interesting about them. So please keep in mind that these are my opinions. And of course, I'm not a very old fan either. There may be things I don't know or misunderstand. You can share with me what you want to add or correct 💜

-I am also sharing with you some blogs that I know who is posting about Exile Tribe/The Rampage. You can check them out too 💜I will continue to introduce the members when I have time :') I hope you like it :D 💜

The Rampage

A Japanese dance & vocal boy group formed and managed by LDH JAPAN.

16 members: 3 vocalists and 13 performers. 

They made their major debut on January 25, 2017 with the single “Lightning”.

Fandom name: Ravers ( RAmpage loVERS)

Formation: September 12, 2014

Debut: January 25, 2017

Genres: J-pop, hip hop, dance pop

Leaders: Likiya and Zin

16 Members: Likiya, Zin, Riku, Kenta, Rui, Yamasho, Kazuma, Hokuto, Iwasho, Shohei, Itsuki,Kaisei, Makoto, Ryu, Takahide and Takuma

At the beginning it was unclear how many and which candidates would be chosen for the group's final line-up, the members later described the time as a desperate, harsh and stressful "survival situation". According to Kawamura Kazuma, the three vocalists were especially tense and taking the situation very seriously, thinking that one of them was going to be cut, due to the fact that LDH only had a two-vocalist system for all of their boy groups at that point.

But luckily they were all chosen :’)

However, while they were training for their debut in the public eye, the members later revealed that the group had been struggling behind the scenes and actually went on a hiatus the year after they were formed until their debut. Several members mentioned that they considered quitting during that time as it was mentally and physically difficult.Also Fujiwara Itsuki revealed that the members had also been working as staffs of the company behind the scenes in that time period, for example as tour staff for senior groups, or in Fujiwara's case, as staff of EXPG schools.

June 16 had been chosen as "RAVERS DAY". This specific date was selected because it is the only month out of the year that does not have a member's birthday, and because the number "16" is important to the group :D

During the first five years, all members of the group lived together in a dormitory.There were four rooms, and four members lived in each room, sharing bunk beds. Each room also had a room manager.

When group members were asked who they would like to date, most of them chose Likiya.

Also, Elly from Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS is his older brother. That's why he said that he was often compared to him and that he was flustured.

LIKIYA's father is Carlos Elliot, a former professional boxer and LIKIYA started practicing boxing as a hobby.

He loves basketball and cooking. That's why his emoji is a cook. 👨‍🍳

Described as a calm, quiet and very reliable person with a strong sense of leadership. According to his members, he also has a mischievous side and occasionally makes a joke to calm the mood.

In charge of the choreography of THE RAMPAGE.

He is very good at cooking. His skills are so good that he even invented his own curry, "Likiya-man's Indian Spinach Curry" (リキヤ～マンのインド風ほうれん草カレー), which is actually sold in Japan. In 2020's first broadcast of "RMPG DOPE STATION", he talked about his dream of appearing on a cooking show.

His favorite color is white. He collects white clothes and white things, and most of his furniture and accessories are white.

2) ZIN : Sakamoto Zin (坂本陣)

He is really like a mom even to the older members. He is fun, funny and really so cute. And I really love when he talks :’)

Didn't like his smile very much for a long time, but after he joined THE RAMPAGE, people started to tell him that he has a nice smile, which changed his view. :’)

3) RIKU: Aoyama Riku (青山陸)

Maybe you think Rampage’s only vocalists are Kazuma and Hokum but no. This handsome man is a vocalist too and he has an amazing voice…

He is really good at teasing and annoying people and a bit savage.

Even though he is a performer and rapper, he has great vocals. And I'm so happy ma55ive used him as vocals &lt;3

He and Rui are childhood friends and very close friends. (But he'll never admit it)

He has a lot of questionable (in a good way) behavior and always makes me laugh

Him and Yonamine Rui together are called the "Haisai Duo" or "Haisai Combi". They are from the same hometown and the first students from EXPG Okinawa to join LDH.

Described as a mysterious and quiet person. He says about himself: "I'm not a loner, but I'm a free spirit and have my own pace". However, he also has a playful side characterized by strange moves, peculiar laughter, and eccentric worldview.

Has a curious nature and likes to try new things.

His favorite artists are Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.

In 2017, at the start of the group's first solo tour THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2017-2018 "GO ON THE RAMPAGE", he launched a video corner called "The Two Who Can't Talk" (しゃべれない2人) together with Fujiwara Itsuki in order to improve their talking skills. :D

According to his members, he is always late in his private life.

His favorite color is black.

Shinonome Trivia

All info is pulled directly from the Shinonome idols side stories, home screen dialogue, etc. Not really trivia but more of a collection of little fun facts, hopefully it’ll be helpful to anyone who wants to write fanfiction or make art of the Shinonome idols! Sorted alphabetically by last name, things related to relationships between the idols are at the end!

Christina:

She comes from Trento, Italy.

She prefers to be called Chris.

Kasane Hasekura

Her hobby is cosplaying.

She's very proficient at sewing, and often makes her own clothes.

Kasane made all the costumes herself at first, but learned to let the others help her over time.

She often forgets what she wants to talk about, and has decided to start writing down the conversation topics she thinks of throughout the day.

Kasane insists on taking measurements for the others.

Uses "-chan" for her friends.

Rika Kamiya

She became an idol in order to research how a single stage can move the hearts of so many people.

Refers to others as her "test subjects" sometimes.

She isn't easily scared, as she claims that if you have knowledge, you won't be afraid of many things.

She is very knowledgeable about nature and plant species.

She would like to meet "all the school idols" someday, as she believes all the school idols meeting would result in an amazing chemical reaction.

She doesn't seem very flattered by compliments on her appearance, and instead takes the opportunity to begin researching what exactly "cute" is and how it moves others.

She seems insecure about her performances, saying she knows they're "boring".

She also seems interested in neuroscience, as she's investigating how the brain reacts to performances.

She uses "-kun" for her friends, or at least Kasane.

Mizuki Kikkawa

She enjoys basketball, and wants to participate in the inter-high school tournament.

She decided to become a school idol because she thought it would help her improve in basketball as well, although she realizes this has nothing to do with the sport after joining.

She hates giving up, which is part of why she stuck with being a school idol.

Another game she enjoys is shadow tag.

She gets nervous performing in front of children, or at least when she's acting in a play.

There's another girls' basketball player she's been admiring and watching for years.

She really likes millet dumplings.

People often misread/mispronounce "Kikkawa"

Mizuki doesn't use any honorifics for her friends.

Haruka Konoe

She's her class representative.

At first, she thinks that everyone in the idol club is weird, and states that she has to "fix this".

Haruka is very bad at cooking.

All of Haruka's classmates come to watch her performances.

She uses "-chan" for her friends.

Kanata Konoe

She only became a school idol to help her sister out.

She's a member of the health committee, but she spends most of her time sleeping in the nurse's office.

She's very attached to her pillow, and says nobody else is allowed to use it.

She tries her best because she doesn't want to mess up and make her sister sad.

She brings her pajamas to school.

She's good at cooking, and claims it's the only thing she's good at.

She refers to the infirmary as "the school's paradise."

She refers to her friends with "-chan"

Yuri Mido

She doesn't like frilly/fluttery outfits, and refuses to believe she looks good in them.

It seems like she became an idol because of Coco, and refers to idol club as "weird" at first.

While she had no interest in idols at first, she liked creating her own music and performing with the club.

She seems to like rock music, and thinks it's cool.

She plays guitar, and is apparently really good at it.

She hates being told what to do.

She doesn't think she's cute, and doesn't like being called cute.

She says she doesn't really have likes or dislikes.

Yuri doesn't use any honorifics for her friends.

Coco Miyashita

Her hobby is volunteering.

She became a school idol because she wanted to be of use to more people.

She's a bit embarrassed of her performances at first.

She does a lot of volunteering because she wants to make people happy.

One of the places she volunteers at is a nursing home.

She often goes "hawawa~"

She returns money when she finds it on the ground.

She refers to her friends with "-chan".

Sana Yuki

Her hobby is listed as "none in particular"

She claims that she didn't really want to be a school idol, but she joined because the club wanted her to so badly. She seems to try her best out of spite, at least in the beginning.

She seems to dislike it when others goof off, and claims that she's extremely busy.

She refuses to wear a clown outfit at first, and insist they should be wearing more elegant outfits, but eventually gives in and does her best to wear it properly.

While practicing juggling for the aforementioned outfit, she gets frustrated and throws the balls at the wall, only to have them bounce back and hit her in the face.

She plays tennis as well.

She has a hard time expressing herself, especially when it comes to gratitude, and says that singing helps her say the words she can't usually bring herself to.

She gets embarrassed when she's called cute unexpectedly.

She insists she's amazing at tennis, though when she tries to demonstrate, she accidentally "hits a home run" instead.

She's trying to learn how to sew, but is having a hard time.

She doesn't use any honorifics for her friends.

Relationships:

Christina taught Haruka and Kasane to play cats cradle.

Christina states that Haruka and Kanata treat her well, which makes her want to visit the infirmary more.

Christina volunteered at a community center with Coco.

Kasane has met Koyuki and Himeno, and calls them cute.

Kasane and Mutsuki are the only people that Rika has mentioned, with Kasane being the only one mentioned by name.

Mizuki gets the other girls to play basketball with her during their idol practice breaks.

Mizuki thinks that Yuri is amazing at playing guitar.

Mizuki says that the other girls in her club give her a fuzzy feeling, and she wants to protect them.

According to Mizuki, Coco and Yuri are always together.

Haruka is always cleaning up after Kanata, and says she "has no appeal as a girl". Despite her annoyance with her sometimes, they are very close and have a good relationship.

Haruka and Kanata sometimes wear matching outfits, which makes Haruka extremely happy.

Coco helped Haruka make chocolate for Kanata.

Rika and Kanata get along well, according to Haruka.

Kanata says that Haruka gets angry with her a lot, and wants her to be nicer to her, though this is likely only said because Haruka wakes her up often.

Kanata's pajamas were made by Haruka and Kasane.

Yuri thinks that Coco is tricking her when she says she looks good in her idol outfits.

Yuri is somewhat annoyed that Coco prioritized a teacher over her, but knowing that Coco is likely upset about breaking her promise to Yuri, she goes to help her.

Coco was, in fact, very upset about the possibility of not being able to practice with Yuri.

She is a spunky and opinionated girl, the kind of person who doesn't go with the crowd, preferring to stick to her ideals. Chapter 9

When I told him about Riku, he immediately replied that he wanted to arrange a meet up, so we quickly put our plan into action.

First, he took his mother out to a coffee shop, saying it was a change of pace. Then, they met Riku and I as if it’s a coincidence. After greeting them as a friend of his, I passed the baton to Riku, who’s going to talk to her in a soft tone and listen deeply to what his mother had to say. From time to time, he gently prodded her with questions to slowly draw her out her story.

Takeru: (Now that was impressive.)

Eventually, she opened up.

Drinking buddy's mother: The day I lost my husband… He asked me, "Do you want to go see the cherry blossoms?" Riku: …… Drinking buddy's mother: Since I had just started doing embroidery as a hobby, I was really looking forward to show him what I got. So I replied, "Let's go tomorrow." And yet…… He passed away on that very day……

Drinking buddy: That was just an accident that happened during your daily walk. It's not your fault, mom.

He gently stroked his mother's back as tears welled up in her eyes. Seeing that really made my heart ache.

Drinking buddy's mother: No… It’s still my fault… Drinking buddy: Why would you think that…? Drinking buddy's mother: He had an accident in the opposite direction from the park where the cherry blossoms were blooming… He took a different route than usual to keep his promise to go cherry blossom viewing with me…!

Riku: …….. Drinking buddy's mother: I'm sorry.…… I felt so guilty that I couldn't tell anyone… If I had gone cherry blossom viewing with him back then… My husband wouldn't have had an accident and he would still be here today…

Riku’s calm voice and words enveloped the mother who’s crying and struggling to breathe. His voice calmed my emotions that welled up in me at the thought of his mother's grief. It seems the same was true for his mother. She gradually moved on from the story of the accident to happy memories of the two of them and her family.

Riku: I could tell that you two really love each other. I'm sure you still have many more wonderful memories with your husband. Drinking buddy's mother: ! Riku: Have you thought about how you want to treasure those memories? Drinking buddy's mother: I… All I ever did was regret……. Takeru: ……..

Did Riku’s question bring back memories of a happy day? Not sure if I was just seeing things, but I thought I saw a faint light glimmering in her eyes, which used to be sunk deep in sadness.

Takeru: That's right. Speaking of cherry blossom viewing…

I waited until her breathing had settled into a normal rhythm before starting the topic.

Takeru: My friends and I are actually planning to go and see cosmos. Right, Riku? Rika: Oh yeah. If you'd like, why don't you two join us? For a change of pace.

Drinking buddy: Eh? Drinking buddy's mother: Oh my…..

They both opened their eyes wide, then laughed.

Drinking buddy: I guess this sort of things does happen sometimes. Takeru: ? Drinking buddy's mother: Actually, I was just invited by my grandson and daughter-in-law to go to see the cosmos flowers, so that really surprised me.

Riku: Don’t tell me….. Takeru: I guess people really are connected to one another.

Touma: Grandma! There are more flowers over here Grandmother: Oh dear, you’re right. Ito: (So that’s Touma-kun's…)

Kamiya: Who wants some donuts?

Shinobu: Me, me, and me! Touma: Also, me!

Father: We still have lunchboxes, so don't eat too much. Takeru: Tell that to our two kiddos too. Ito: (.…. I’m glad the cherry blossom viewing is getting lively.)

Having just finished choosing his donut, Touma-kun was talking to Sei-san who’s holding a paper bag in his hand.

Sei: A little present for you. I picked out some books about cherry blossoms, so if you feel like it, please read them. Touma: Wow, thanks! Mother: Can he really have them…? Sei: I simply acted on my own, so don't worry about it. It’s also my secret ploy to make him fall in love with books.

Touma: Read it for me, mom!

Touma-kun was already sitting on his mother's lap with an open book.

Kiho: Children's books? I'm a little surprised that Sei chose those kind of books. Sei: It was a bit of a struggle. Since the books with a cherry blossom theme tend to possess fascination due to their mysterious and cruel aspects. I seriously tried to hold back my hand from reaching out for the ones that come with that direction.

On the other side of Kiho-san who smiled and said "I thought so", Riku-san and Touma-kun’s grandmother were talking. I don't know what they were talking about, but between the sound of cosmos leaves swaying in the wind, Touma-kun’s grandmother said something… "I will treasure my memories with him and move forward with my family." was the only sentence I could clearly hear.
