The wind whispered through the trees as you walked along the dirt path leading back to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. The sky was a soft lavender hue, the first stars beginning to twinkle above. It had been a long mission, but at least it had ended in victory.

You barely made it past the first torii gate when you heard it—a rustling, then hurried footsteps.

“Y/n-sensei!”

Three voices, in unison, calling out to you.

You didn’t even have time to turn before a weight slammed into your side. Tanjiro, ever so gentle despite his strength, buried his face in your shoulder. His breath hitched, relief clear in the way his hands clutched your haori.

“You’re back,” he murmured. “We were so worried.”

A second body crashed into your other side, significantly less gentle.

“Where the hell were you?! We’ve been starving without you!” Inosuke’s voice was loud, muffled only slightly by the way his forehead was pressed into your shoulder. “These idiots didn’t let me run into the mountains to find you!”

And then, Zenitsu. Clinging to your arm like a desperate child, his wails loud enough to alert the entire estate.

“Y-Y/n-sensei! You can’t just go off on dangerous missions without us! What if something happened to you?! Who would cook for us?! Who would make sure Inosuke doesn’t punch a Hashira in the face?! Who would protect us?!”

You sighed, though your lips curled into a fond smile. These three were more than just your students. Somewhere along the line, they had become your ducklings, following you around wherever you went, seeking your approval, your presence.

With a chuckle, you ruffled their hair one by one.

“I missed you too,” you admitted. “And I’m fine. You know I’m a Hashira, right? It’ll take more than a few demons to take me down.”

“B-But still!” Zenitsu sniffled.

“Enough whining,” Inosuke grumbled, though he was still very much glued to your side. “She’s back, and now she can feed us!”

Tanjiro laughed softly, finally pulling back, though his hands still clutched your sleeve. “Are you hungry too, Y/n-sensei? You must be exhausted.”

You hummed, pretending to consider it. “I could use a meal. How about we all eat together? My treat.”

Zenitsu gasped, tears sparkling in his eyes. “I knew it! You do love us! You do care!”

Inosuke pumped a fist into the air. “FOOOOD! Finally!”

Tanjiro’s smile was radiant, his exhaustion melting into quiet happiness. “Let’s go. I’ll help cook.”

And just like that, the three of them trailed behind you, sticking close like ducklings to their mother.

You couldn’t help but feel warm at the sight.

Yes, they were warriors.

Yes, they were strong.

But at the end of the day, they were still just kids.

And you would protect them, feed them, and care for them as long as they needed you to.

The kitchen at headquarters was already warm when you arrived, and despite their exhaustion, all three boys eagerly helped prepare the meal.

Tanjiro, ever reliable, was already washing rice and cutting vegetables. Zenitsu grumbled about being forced to help, but his hands moved skillfully as he worked on seasoning the fish. Inosuke, surprisingly, listened to directions—for the most part. He still insisted on “hunting” ingredients, which really just meant charging into the pantry and coming back with an entire bag of flour like it was a prized kill.

“Y/n-sensei! Look! I got this myself! Now make something good with it!”

You pinched the bridge of your nose. “Inosuke, put that back. We don’t need flour for-”

“Don’t waste my bounty!”

Zenitsu groaned. “You absolute barbarian! You can’t just bring random things and expect them to work in the meal!”

“Yes, I can! And Y/n-sensei is the best! She can cook anything!”

You sighed but patted Inosuke’s head, making him freeze in place before puffing up proudly. “I appreciate the enthusiasm. How about next time we bake something?”

The wild boar boy nodded sagely. “Hmph. Fine. But only because you said so.”

Dinner was simple. grilled fish, miso soup, fresh rice, and vegetables. Nothing fancy, but by the way the three of them practically inhaled their portions, you would have thought it was a feast.

Zenitsu let out a dramatic sigh, clutching his stomach. “I could cry. This is the best meal I’ve had in forever.”

Tanjiro, cheeks slightly puffed with rice, nodded in agreement. “It’s really good, Y/n-sensei. Thank you.”

Inosuke, on his third serving, was too busy stuffing his face to respond verbally. Instead, he let out a pleased grunt.

You shook your head fondly. “Honestly, what would you three do without me?”

Zenitsu gasped. “Perish.”

Tanjiro coughed, looking embarrassed. “I’d… probably manage.”

Inosuke shrugged. “I’d be fine, obviously. But if you want to keep cooking for me, I won’t stop you.”

You smiled, gathering their empty bowls and ruffling their hair once more. “Then I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on you three, huh?”

Zenitsu immediately melted into your touch. “Yes, please.”

Tanjiro laughed sheepishly. “If it’s not too much trouble.”

Inosuke let out a grunt, but you caught the way his lips twitched upward.

You sighed, shaking your head. “What a handful.”

But they were your handful. And you wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.

tanjiro didn’t expect much, especially not from you, given your typically stoic demeanor. as he nervously awaited your response, he observed the subtle shift in your expression from stoicism to raw emotion, causing his eyes to widen in astonishment. “i love you too, tanjiro!” you exclaimed, a radiant smile spread across your face as joy and affection filled your voice. his shock melted into a mix of relief and overwhelming happiness as his heart thumped with love.

The reader is mostly nonverbal - only speaking using short words/sentences - unless they're talking to someone they've grown to really trust, to animals (such as their crow companions), or about animals - which they have learned lots of trivia about. They may also stim - usually by rocking side to side when bored or flapping/clapping their hands when excited. They're happy to receive physical contact but can be overwhelmed by constant loud noise (such as shouting or music.)

😺 When Tanjiro first met you, he was slightly confused as to why you rarely spoke longer sentences. But, in his fashion, he put that behind and stayed positive around you

😺 Whenever he notices your stims getting worse or more erratic, he holds your hand and allows you to mess with his. He also likes seeing how you would help Nezuko with her hair, using the physical action as another way to use a stim

😺 He is amazing with animals himself, getting along with pretty much every creature he finds. So, when you walked around the Butterfly Mansion with small birds and one of your pets, a Japanese dwarf flying squirrel that you named Kiyoshi, he got along with the cute rodent quick and easily

😺 Whenever you are set to be on a mission with him and the others (Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko), he tries to keep them quieter so you don't get overwhelmed

😺 Sometimes, he enjoys staying awake at night and ask you about some animals that he has either seen around or was wondering about. Such as a Japanese Macaque or a Sika Deer

⚡ He had a hard time understanding you at first. But that was mainly because you rarely spoke and were extremely loving to almost every animal that you guys came across

⚡ I mean, you literally would attract any other Slayer's crow, which made Zenitsu roll his eyes stubbornly. How come you were such an animal magnet while his own crow (or rather sparrow) pecked at him whenever he tried holding him!

⚡ Anyways, he does like seeing how you handle demons, putting your own issues behind just to help out anybody in danger, whether they were children or adults or in between

⚡ Zenitsu may not show it fully, but he does like watching you play with your pet Koi fish when they were swimming around in your/Mitsuri's estate's back pond

⚡ No doubt simps even harder whenever you mess with his hands or wear his haori. He literally stands there with a goofy grin on his face as he giggles at your actions

🐗 Inosuke is a very rambunctious person by nature. And he is surprisingly good around animals, due to growing up alongside them all his childhood

🐗 So, when you came around and seemingly calmed down a boar in front of him, he yelled your name and asked how you knew what they were thinking, in which you laughed and tried explaining to the best of your ability

🐗 He also had great hearing and understanding of body language. So if you were to speak with a lower tone or not be able to finish a sentence, he understands what you want to say without asking you to repeat like others

🐗 Smiling at him also makes him feel good, so whenever you do so if you can't gain the urge to speak to him, his chest puffs out as he goes on a rant of 'of course you smile at the King of the Mountain' and whatnot

🐗 By far the second best with an Autistic reader when it comes to this trio, the way he grew up helps him understand you better than the others easily

# tanjiro ! ☆

Somehow, TANJIRO becomes even more of a sweetheart then he already is. He’s considerate and he’s such a thoughtful person that it would be hard not to fall for his accidental charm

Tanjiro tends to linger close to you when he starts to fall for you. It takes him some time to understand why but he knows he treasures you as a person and likes your company dearly. His hands tend to gravitate towards yours but he’s always quick to retract them, it’s then when he realizes that he truly has a crush.

Zenitsu and Inosuke pester him about this heavily. Zenitsu always complains about Tanjiro being so secretive about the person he’s fallen for, as inosuke gives him horrible advice. As his first response was “I SAY CHALLENGE THEM TO A FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!” As for the best, tanjiro believes his own methods will work best.

He enjoys doing tasks for you or just helping you out in general. Whether it’s holding heavy baskets, or taking over a job you were assigned to do for the corps. Compared to others, his hugs or even small touches linger longer than others. His actions have more meaning behind them and his intentions are pure and genuine

# zenitsu ! ☆

ZENITSU is the most outgoing when he had the crush, he doesn’t try to hide his feeling either. Everybody knows he had a major crush on you, and I’m not surprised if you know as well.

He’s overly dramatic about anything and everything when he’s around you, and use even the smallest thing to cling onto you. He’ll whine if he hasn’t seen you and he’ll cling onto your arms and hold you close once he does have his sights on you. Only for him to get either scolded by Tanjiro or smacked in the back of his head by inosuke.

Not to say he isn’t over dramatic in private, but his tone is much calmer and his words are more genuine. Normally he would cling onto you with his hands, but now prefers to do it with his words. When he proclaims his love for you in public many pass it off as a joke, but in private it’s more indirect with actions and you begin to believe it’s no longer a simple joke anymore.

Zenitsu who also is the quickest to figure out his feelings for you, as it’s comes along almost immediately after he meets you for the first time. Similar to Genya is first embarrassed about how he feels, but brushes it off quickly not wanting to waste any chance that arises.

# inosuke ! ☆

Everybody knows INOSUKE had a crush on you, while they can’t point it out without him yelling at them their point still stands. It’s not like he’s trying to show the world he has a crush, he truly just doesn’t know he even has one in the first place.

It easy to point out how different he is around you compared to anybody else he surrounds himself with. He actually takes time to properly know your name, or how he’ll let you eat the food you get and then take even the smallest leftovers you have left. Most surprisingly he’ll try to somewhat improve his hygiene habits if you took the time to bug him about it enough.

In Inosuke’s mind he believes what he’s doing is normal, or at-least what he’s feeling is normal at first. In his mind your just more superior than others around you, so you’ll gain that respect from him as well. It isn’t until he finishes talking to you one day and butterflies swim in his stomach is when he thinks much differently.

He immediately visits Shinobu believing he’s sick and she’ll have to explain to him what he’s feeling. While he partially understands what she’s saying, he begins to believe it’s similar to have boars try and impress a future mate. Inosuke may even attempt to impress you with his skills as a hunter believing that will lead you into letting him out a ring on your finger, or in his mind just “keeping you by his side”.

# kanao! ☆

Nobody could really tell that KANAO truly had a crush on you. Out of anybody here, she’s able to keep to herself more compared to the others. She’s more secretive about this and her more romantic advances are much more discreet.

She’s very calm about the situation and the only small hints about her feelings come from her words and actions. Around others she is silent, she prefers to keep to herself and only truly speaks if spoken to. Around you she’s more open to emotionally express herself, she starts the conversations and her emotions are more visible as you speak.

Compared to others, Kanao is just find with spending time together. Whether you doing something together in a close proximity, or if your both doing separate things in the presence of each other she’s perfectly content.

She only really expresses her feelings to aoi, she one of the most self aware with how she feels but is unsure of how to take care of it. Only after getting help from aoi will she even attempt to pursue you, but she’ll hesitate away from even the first step and aoi will have to bug her about it constantly until she’s able to do it herself.

# genya ! ☆

GENYA is embarrassed to have a crush on you. Not that you embarrass him, but he’s embarrassed of himself for getting such heated reaction. He distanced himself from you by instinct as being somewhat near you can cause his face to go red in the beginning.

He starts off as some sort of secret admirer. He learns about you from a distance such as asking kocho for her help or opinions. With him being in the butterfly mansion often, she’s the first one to even know he has a crush and the main influence to his actions. It takes a while for him to even build up the courage to gift you something. A simple white gardenia flower placed delicately on a shelf in your room. It wasn’t anything revolutionary, but it was the thought that counts!

Through Shinobu’s encouragement, he manages to work his way up to talking with you face to face, properly. Your first conversations are shorter than he liked, as his response are quick and short, with either very few words exchanged or just him shaking his head. Overtime he’s able to open his shell, being able to grasp full length conversations, he’s able to share his thoughts and whatever on his mind he’s able to express more compared to his usual grunt of annoyance.

It doesn’t take much time for others to catch onto this either. They noticed how his tone is softer and he talks at a normal voice instead of his usual irritated yelling. His eyes are really what gives it away, how there much softer contradicting his brother, you can see the emotion he’s feeling through them. A small detail but it holds much more meaning to it. Even through his subtle ways, Genya just wants to show you how much he really cares for you.

[A]ffection :: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

Tanjiro is an interesting individual when he becomes lovesick. His undying love for you only burns pure passion and lust into the deepest depths of his heart for you; so it's no surprise he tries to show you his affection in every way he humanly can. I see his main love languages being words of affirmation and quality time, of course, some others slip in as well, just not as much such as gift-giving and acts of service. So he's willing to go to many lengths for you, he always strives to give you his utter best and nothing less.

[B]lood :: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Not much in particular, he would never hurt innocent civilians and villagers regardless of how much jealousy tries to tempt him into acting in such a manner. He would rather try to isolate you from that person(s) completely rather than kill them off, though, he does get sudden urges to act upon those deeds. Now, if it's a demon, then it's fair game. The brutality would really show in his actions if it were a demon, like a fire luminously burning in his chest as he fights it courageously, just for you.

[C]ruelty :: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

No, he would never dream of showing what's truly stored beneath the surface of his kind smile. Even though you got abducted by him, he would still treat you with the same vehement amount of endearment; if not, maybe a bit more since you have no one to go to besides him if there's any such issue. He likes this feeling of being depended on. Kamado would definitely make you dependent on him but also restrict some of your access to certain parts in your place of capture by keeping a heavy chain tightly secured to your ankle.

[D]arling :: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Of course, he would, not intentionally though; he really doesn't mean to act upon it in these such ways but his self-control slips at certain times when rage begins to consume him entirely. I see him always wanting to be around you, therefore, that can translate to taking you on various missions with him with or without your permission. He lives and breathes you, it's no surprise he'd also tend to drug you from time to time with sleeping medication so you can barely remember a thing when you end up in a foreign location.

[E]xposed :: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

Before your 'disappearance', I would assume he would be very subtle with his emotions towards you; of course, he would be a little too friendly towards you but what's the harm in that? You two are just best friends, nothing more or nothing less, sharing a close bond together is all that it is. Now, when his true colours are revealed, he'd be much more open with you concerning his feelings, reminding you every night that you're with him that you're his only true love, whispering words of compassion, professing his love for you repeatedly in hopes you'd see him in the same way he sees you. Very vulnerable indeed.

[F]ight :: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He is not pleased in the slightest. Tanjiro loves you, why can't you just see that he means all well to you. His one and only radiant angel sent from above; he doesn't harm you even though he is edged to do so, his violent tendencies are getting worse and worse. He simply sees you being unhappy with the situation, he only attempts to console and softly mutter words of how much you mean to him. It's only for your own good after all, he's doing this for you, can't you see that? Hopefully one day you'll realize that your actions of lashing out are futile.

This situation is far from comical to Tanjiro. There is no such entertainment in having his darling try to leave him when he desperately needs them more than ever. So, attempts to escape do enrage him to an extent but he could never actually get upset with you. Not all can bare with these types of experiences, so he doesn't blame you. All he has to do is up the ante in barriers and security in your place of capture. And maybe do the same for you.

[H]ell :: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Hmm, if I had to pick, it would be the few times he deprived you of food and water as a form of punishment. Strengthening your restraints and such as well, causing nasty bruises to form along your wrists. That and the time he locks you up for long durations in pitch darkness as another form of punishment. But this treatment type only comes when you seriously cross the line.

[I]deals :: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

He planned everything out already! He wants an estate and to be married and four kids and a pet chicken named Kota! But in all seriousness, he sees himself falling for you further in the future and you doing the same to him. He sees you walking down the aisle looking utterly extravagant! That's the main thing he dreams of each night. To make it official with you. To tie you with him until death do you both part.

[J]ealousy :: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Not really, but he can't control it when he does get this strong feeling. He usually tries to be passive-aggressive with his jealousy, uttering snarky remarks under his breath but never anything too direct. He usually sulks in his jealousy until he reminds himself that you truly belong to him and him only! It's pretty useless wasting emotions on those who aren't worth it.

[K]isses :: How do they act around or with their darling?

Fairly.. normal in public spaces. I mean, it is Tanjiro after all, he acts cheerful and sweet, comforting when he needs to. He acts like his usual self, however, there is a distinct possessive nature which lurks deep within him that comes out of hiding ever so often. He is keen on having your attention all to himself, and will become highly frustrated if someone were to even hold you in a conversation.

[L]ove letters :: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

Easy. I think that Kamado would definitely be a strong believer that all relationships last longer when they are friends or good acquaintances before pursuing an actual relationship; ergo, he would attempt to befriend you before dropping some hints on the matter.

[M]ask :: Are their true colours drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Not entirely, Tanjiro is Tanjiro, he will always be what he is, a good person deep down that wants nothing more than to help others in need, but you, you bring out something he could have never imagined himself being like - How hostile he could truly get around others when they've done nothing wrong, a sense of urgency always takes over him when he's with you, and he'd be very clingy, you must pay attention to him! and him only.

[N]aughty :: How would they punish their darling?

As I stated previously in [H]ell, I would say he isn't one for many punishments. The most he'll do (when you're finally abducted of course), is tighten your restraints to the point you feel like you're losing circulation to that area. The cold steel tightens around your wrists, almost making your hand feel completely numb; now that would be the worst. The second type of punishment is depriving you of food and water for at least a day or two, while you're stuck in the darkness, with only his voice to alleviate your whines and needs.

[O]ppression :: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

The most Kamado would do is restrict you from having much freedom; when he 'punishes' you, he cracks away at your basic needs: nutrients, food and water. So I would say that's bad by itself but your social interaction will also be limited, as expected. The only one you could ever truly see besides him is Nezuko, and even then, she has issues with her speech.

[P]atience :: How patient are they with their darling?

Extremely patient, it's kind of scary at times, he rarely ever snaps - and if he does it's not something noticeable. The only thing that would change is that his always soft smile would shift into more of a neutral frown accompanied by a blank stare. Another thing about Tanjiro is that he's incredibly understanding, which makes him more tolerable than other yanderes, in turn, he can see why you will not enjoy these circumstances. So take all the time you need to adjust.

Meeting the Kamaboko Squad

You’re small—so small, in fact, that the world around you seems overwhelmingly large. And one day, while out on a mission, you somehow find yourself in the midst of the Kamaboko Squad, though you were trying to stay hidden from the rest of the Corps. You never planned on meeting them, but a series of mishaps (perhaps some lost directions or running into a tree) lead you right into their path.

Tanjiro, with his ever-gentle nature, is the first to notice you. His concern is immediate, a slight panic in his voice as he kneels down. “Hey, are you okay? You’re so small… Did you get lost?” His eyes widen in wonder and confusion. How did someone so tiny end up here in the first place?

Nezuko, ever protective of those she cares for, peers curiously from the basket on Tanjiro’s back. Her eyes soften when she sees you, her gaze filled with both affection and a little bit of concern. Her instincts as a demon protector seem to kick in, sensing that you’re vulnerable and need to be kept safe.

Zenitsu, on the other hand, immediately gets worried about your size. “What’s going on? You’re so small! You could get hurt easily like that! Are you okay? Are you lost?!” He exclaims, his voice trembling with concern, even if he’s unsure of how to handle this new development.

Inosuke, with his boisterous and blunt personality, simply grins. “I’ve never seen someone like you before! So tiny! You’d be a perfect challenge for me!” But there’s a glint of curiosity in his eyes—this tiny person is intriguing to him, and despite his competitive nature, he can’t help but feel protective.

When They Discover You’ve Escaped

At first, they don’t realize what’s going on. But when they start to notice you’re nowhere to be found, panic sets in.

Tanjiro’s Reaction:

“Where did they go?” Tanjiro asks, frantically searching the area, calling your name gently. He’s concerned and confused, unable to understand why you would leave without a word. His heart aches at the thought of you wandering off on your own. He knows how dangerous it can be for someone so small, especially in the dangerous world they live in. “Please, come back…”

When Tanjiro finally finds you, perhaps sneaking through some bushes or making your way back to a familiar hiding place, his immediate response is a mix of relief and sadness. “You didn’t have to run off like that,” he says softly, kneeling down to your level. His large hand reaches out, offering warmth and comfort. “You’re safe here with us, you know? We won’t let anything happen to you.”

Nezuko’s Reaction:

Nezuko, already protective of you after just a short time together, becomes more aware of your movements as soon as you start trying to slip away. When she finds you trying to escape again, she immediately scoops you up in her arms without a word. Her eyes tell you everything—she’s worried about you, but she also can’t let you go off on your own.

Her embrace is gentle yet firm. You can feel the care in every movement, even if she’s not able to express it verbally. There’s a protective fierceness in her gaze as she holds you close. “You don’t have to run. You’re with family now,” her eyes seem to say, and there’s a promise in them that she won’t ever let you go.

Zenitsu’s Reaction:

Zenitsu, when he realizes you’ve slipped away, goes into full-blown panic mode. “Y/N! No, no, no, where are you?” His voice trembles with fear. He doesn’t know what he’d do if anything happened to you. The thought of you being out there alone makes him sick to his stomach.

When he finally finds you, he nearly drops to his knees in relief. He doesn’t scold you immediately—he’s just too happy you’re safe. Instead, he pulls you into a tight hug, his voice breaking with emotion. “Don’t scare me like that! You’re so tiny, anything could happen! Please, don’t run away again…” His desperation is genuine, and his protective nature shines through. He can’t imagine life without you by his side.

Inosuke’s Reaction:

Inosuke is the least likely to understand the full reason why you ran off, but when he finds you, it’s clear that he’s more concerned than he lets on. “What’s the big idea, huh? Running away like that! You think you’re faster than me or something?” He crouches down, trying to sound intimidating, but there’s a flicker of concern in his eyes.

When you look up at him, a mixture of fear and confusion in your eyes, Inosuke’s tough exterior softens a little. “Don’t ever run off again,” he mutters under his breath, sitting down next to you and pulling you into a strong but surprisingly tender hold. “If you want to go somewhere, you better tell me first.”

Overall Group Dynamic:

After the discovery, the Kamaboko Squad collectively starts to understand that they need to be more mindful of you. They’re used to the dangers of their world, and though they each have their own ways of handling their own fears and emotions, they all agree on one thing—your safety comes first. As the squad continues to protect you, they become more and more protective, though each member expresses it differently.

Tanjiro ensures you’re well cared for and offers comfort and encouragement whenever you need it. Nezuko becomes your silent guardian, always by your side, holding you close when the world gets overwhelming. Zenitsu, ever the worrywart, showers you with affection and makes sure you’re always looked after. Inosuke, while still figuring out how to properly take care of someone so small, develops a strange bond with you, one rooted in respect and care that’s hard to break.

Together, they become your family, your protectors, and your home. Despite your desire to be independent, you can’t help but feel safe and loved in their presence, knowing they will never let you face the world alone again.

Kamaboko Squad Yandere Headcanons

A/N: Reposting this from my Wattpad book because I don't have any ideas for anything new 🤩

Warnings: Nezuko is platonic, mentions of kidnapping, mild language, and of course, yandere themes

Tanjiro: ➼ If he's the one who loves you as a yandere, you wouldn't even have to lay a finger if you don't want to.

➼ He's the kind who would definitely spoil you. Want some chocolate? You're getting your favorite kind of chocolates, homemade. Too tired to clean up after a long day? He'll help you bathe. He's super respectful, his eyes never wandering to where they don't belong, making you always feel safe within his company. He's definitely househusband material.

➼ He absolutely loves it when he's in both you and Nezuko's company. He adores the fact that you love his sister (probably even more than you love him, but he doesn't need to know that). You being Nezuko's sister-in-law would be his ultimate dream.

➼ He hates the fact that you're also a demon slayer. After almost losing his entire family, his biggest nightmare would be losing you or Nezuko. If he could, he would resign you from the corps immediately.

➼ Tanjiro is more of a protective yandere. Red flag? If you're talking to anyone he doesn't fully trust, you bet your butt he's lurking in the shadows watching you interact with them. If he gets too concerned for your safety, there's a very small chance that he'll kidnap you (it needs to be a very serious concern if he does that). However, he would make sure you'll be comfortable in your room where you're kidnapped, even if you're tied by chains. 

➼ He can't imagine himself being with anyone else. You're his and only his, and he's going to make you see that too. No matter what it takes.

Zenitsu: ➼ Oh god. He would be a handful to deal with.

➼ Hearing "Marry me!!!" would be a common occurrence for you to deal with every day. Your mans would do anything to please you. If you asked him to, he would probably climb Mount. Everest for you. Around you, he would almost always be blushing and giving you compliments. He would make sure you hear that he loves you every single day,��which annoys others to no limits.

➼ Zenitsu would do anything to get alone time with you, which rarely happens as he's always surrounded by Inosuke and Tanjiro. When he does get alone time with you though, he would be over the moon. He likes to make you sweets sometimes when he's free, as he's surprisingly good at baking.                              

➼ He thinks absolutely about you is perfect. Fighting demons? You look so awesome. Drinking water? You're pretty as hell. Talking? His full attention is on your pretty face. Showering? He thinks your body looks- erm, never mind. 

➼ The only thing he dislikes regarding you is how Tanjiro and Inosuke are always around you. If they aren't, you're around Nezuko. Sure, he loves them too, but he loves you the most. Probably more than anything in the entire world.

➼ He would be more of a delusional yandere. Red flag? He gets jealous very often. Really often. If he thinks you're not giving enough attention to him, he'll probably go sulk somewhere till you grow worried and come to find him. Or maybe he'll try to make you jealous instead, by clinging to someone else, probably Nezuko (earning bonus glares by Tanjiro).

➼ In his mind, both of you are meant to be with each other. Maybe he's too scared to actually make a move on you for now, but he'll do it. Eventually. 

Inosuke: ➼ The only thing I can say is, SAYONARA.

➼ God, it would take him decades to realize his feelings for you. He often mistakes his feelings for competitiveness, so he would demand fights from you at least twice a day at minimum. He gets very reckless with you during fights to calm down his energy from simply seeing you. He would act the same around you as he does with Tanjiro and Zenitsu, but still somewhat calmer and more protectively.

➼ He's happy as long as he's around you, although he would never admit it. You taught him to read and write basic Japanese, so he even writes you letters when you're away on solo missions in distant places, although they usually look like "If you get injured by those bastard demons, I'll kill you." Yeah, Zenitsu taught him to write swear words.

➼ He craves physical touch, whether it's romantic or in a fight. He doesn't care as long as his skin is in contact with yours. It could be simply holding hands, but knowing that you're with him at the moment is very comforting for him. You probably don't mind holding hands with him either.

➼ He hates how you could be reckless and jump in to save someone if needed. Sure, he's even more reckless, but he can't understand why you would risk yourself in order to protect a random stranger. He would much rather sacrifice himself over you.

➼ In a fight, you both are a very good duo. Your abilities are very similar (the only thing is that Inosuke can't detect auras, but he's much better at things like spatial awareness), and his recklessness is often balanced by your strategic approach to battles. However, whenever you tell him strategies to continue a fight, he wouldn't listen nine out of ten times. But when he does get too injured to continue fighting Inosuke style, he puts your strategies into practice.

➼ He's a total possessive yandere. Red flag? He doesn't know how to express his feelings very well. Even if he wants to do something as wholesome as hugging, he's gonna ask for it in a very aggressive way like "OI (Y/N), HUG ME OR ELSE 🔪". Red flag #2? His possessiveness can get out of control. He dislikes it whenever you make independent decisions and/or tell him to do something. He wants you to be fully dependent on him.

➼ If it were up to him, he would kidnap you and never let you out of his sight. You were his, no matter what.

Nezuko:  ➼ She absolutely adores you, just as much as she adores Tanjiro. She could never choose between the two of you, though. To her, you're both irreplaceable. 

➼ Nezuko. Absolutely. Loves. Cuddles. She wouldn't be able to function normally if she didn't get her daily dose of cuddles and head pats. She hates how she's unable to talk to you normally because of her muzzle. If she could talk normally though, she would spend the entire day chatting with you. Not a single moment of boredom would exist.

➼ She can easily understand you most of the time, and you can understand her too eight out of ten times. In her perfect version of life, Tanjiro and you would be married and all three of you would live in the same home (maybe even along with Urokodaki). She tends to see the three of you and Urokodaki as a family.

➼ Like Tanjiro, she hates the fact that you have to put yourself in danger along with Tanjiro. What if something happened to you while she was peacefully sleeping? Just thinking about that makes her extremely paranoid.

➼ A high-pitched "mhm-hmm" means she's happy. If it's a low-pitched one, that means that she is determined to complete the task that she's been assigned. A single quiet "hmm" means that she's sad and/or craving your attention.

➼ She's a clingy yandere. Red flag? It's easy for her to manipulate you into doing something she wants. She's aware of her cuteness and she's not afraid to use it as a weapon. Nevertheless, she would never manipulate you into doing something that she knows would upset you too much.

➼ I would be willing to place my bets that the Kamado siblings are secretly conspiring with each other to make you know that you belong with them, and ONLY them.

He would go all quiet all of a sudden. But even though he turned quiet, he’s actually enjoying the moment of being accompanied by you.

Imagine gently stroking is pretty red hair and embracing his head by your chest.

He kept leaning into your touch like a lil puppy

Eventually both of you would fall asleep in each other’s arms WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CYUTE

Tanjiro sat on the dirt floor of the training grounds to catch his breath after a long, tiring day of training. He laid himself on the dirt floor and stared at the shrouding clouds above, before closing his eyes to rest. While he was engulfed in a void of darkness, he noticed that he was soon enveloped by your aroma. His eyes flutter open and found you laying next to him. You nudged him closer to hug his head close to your chest before asking him about his training. “It was great! I got to improve my Total Concentration Breathing and my Hinokami Kagura techniques got even sharper!” You chuckled as you listened to Tanjiro rant about his day. You began stroking his red hair and giving him small pecks on his forehead. He enjoyed the comforting accompany you offered him that his eyelids eventually felt heavy. Every time he blinked, it became harder to open his eyes again. You stroking his hair did not help him stay awake though. Tanjiro eventually gave in to his sleepiness and entered a deep void of slumber. You found him so adorable asleep in your arms, but you felt yourself getting sleepier by the second. So, wrapped in each other’s arms, you both succumbed to deep slumber.

Bonus: While you were sleeping together, Zenitsu came to look up on Tanjiro since he already missed dinner. But upon arriving the training grounds, he saw you two in this state. Jealousy washed over him. “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????!! HOW COULD TANJIRO HAVE A PARTNER SOONER THAN MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE???”

Bring earmuffs while your ears are still alive

When you suddenly start cuddling him he would be straight up frozen

Then start shivering like it’s the Mexican winter

But instead of being cold, he would be BOILING, to the point where there is steam coming out of his ears.

Zenitsu sat alone on a stone fence, under a blooming Sakura tree outside of Butterfly Mansion, eating an onigiri. Tanjiro, Inosuke and you were all on solo missions, so he ate lunch alone while waiting for you all to return. Zenitsu looked up to see the thousand tiny Sakura petals falling from the tree, reminding him how much he missed you. Just while he was distracted, you returned to the Butterfly Mansion after your solo mission. You saw Zenitsu sitting alone and felt joy to be able to see him again. You knew how much he missed you since you both kept exchanging letters while you were gone. With a small smile tugging on your face, you approached him. Zenitsu heard you approaching him and was about to turn around and greet you, but you swiftly sat down next to him, gently held his head on both sides with your two hands, laid his head on your lap and started stroking his soft golden hair. For a moment he froze, but it wasn’t long before he started shivering and turning bright red. His head immediately felt hot and he even started steaming. Zenitsu wrapped his arms around your waist (while still laying down) and began screaming. “WAAAAAAAAAAA Y/N-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I LOVE IT WHEN YOU CUDDLE WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! YOUR THIGHS FEEL SO COMFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY” After hearing his overly loud screaming you froze. “EHH???” And before long, you became a flustered mess as well.

But when you took of his mask and start giving him soft pecks on the cheek, he thought it felt nice and comforting.

But now he’s a bit confused, weren’t you trying to fight him just a second ago?

“What the hell are you doing?”

“Just cuddling you”

“What is cuddling? What are you trying to do to Lord Inosuke!?” He’s funny lol

“Don’t worry about it, just try to feel snug and comfortable.”

Inosuke still wasn’t sure what you were trying to do but it felt nice to have you clinging to him.

You found Inosuke resting on the bed of his room after coming back from his solo mission. Bandages covered multiple parts of the injuries on his body. You heard he had taken a huge toll from this solo mission since the demon he fought during the mission was particularly strong, which explains why he seemed so exhausted. You wanted to help him feel more comfortable so that he can relax and regain his energy. So you approached him, placed both of your knees on the bed and took his boar mask off. You snaked both of your arms around his waist from behind and pecked his pretty face, before resting your head on his shoulder. Inosuke knew it was you behind him, but he wasn’t sure what you were trying to do. He at first thought you were trying to fight him, but when you started to act so intimate with him, he started to notice how comforting and nice it felt. “What the hell are you doing?” Inosuke asked you with a confused yet slightly flushed face. “Just cuddling you”. “What is cuddling? What are you trying to do to Lord Inosuke!?” You chuckled and placed a finger over his lips. “Don’t worry about it, just try to feel snug and comfortable.” Inosuke was still confused but he decided to let it slide just this once just because you make him feel so comforted and relaxed.

Tanjiro sighed and laid his back on the engawa. He stared at the sky, but then you blocked his sight when you suddenly kissed him on the lips. He sat up with his eyes widening. He can't believe that you just smooched him there.

"Y/N..."

"I can't say that word, but I guess I can still be sweet with you."

You gave him a smile, which eventually made him blush. He suddenly went near your face, with your noses almost touching. It was your turn to blush hard as Tanjiro cupped your chin and caressed your cheek with his tongue.

"I think that'll be good enough for today." He whispered and finally locked your lips in a heated kiss, which eventually led you to bite his lower lip.

Tanjiro pulled out of the kiss and stared into your eyes. He gave you a childish grin and pinched your cheek. "No biting for you. Let's just continue that tomorrow when the dare ends."

"Continue what?" You said, blushing harder. Tanjiro planted a quick kiss on your lips before lying back down.

"You know what I mean. I love you, Y/N."

You embraced Tanjiro tightly, making sure that even if you can't tell him that you love him, he will feel it.

You caressed his face and laid down beside him, making sure that you were cuddling him. Apparently, Zenitsu loves to be the small spoon.

You couldn't resist the puppy's look in his eyes, so you leaned in again and kissed him on the lips. His hands worked on your body as your lips were locked together. You felt your cheeks getting hotter with the next words that came out of his mouth.

"You can't say you love me today, but I guess we can do it."

You nodded, and that immediately made him smirk and pin you down on the futon. And the rest is history.

Inosuke rolled his eyes. The ticking of the clock makes him more impatient, but then, yes, he doesn't want to lose. So then he just sat up from the futon and crossed his arms, acting mad at you.

That made you sigh, and so you went on his back and slowly massaged his shoulders, which immediately made him relax. "It's only eight more hours before the dare ends... If you'll wait longer, I might reward you with something more than those three words."

You suggested it, which made Inosuke blush as he turned to look at you. You stared at his shining green eyes and kissed him on the lip. The man didn't protest; instead, he pulled you closer and went on top of you.

"Kiss me again." He said this as he stared intensely into your eyes. In times like this, you can't help but adore Inosuke so much. "I lo—"

"Nope! We'll lose if you say that! Just kiss me again."

He said that, stopping you from saying those three words. But then, yes, you finally kissed Inosuke, which made him smile as you both pulled out. Inosuke laid down beside you and hugged you.

"I'll make you say you love me a hundred times tomorrow, Y/N."

You blushed and buried your face in the crook of his neck, inhaling his manly scent. "I know you will, and I can't wait for it."

How the Kamaboko squad helps you when you're sick

My headcanons on how I think the Kamoboko squad would take care of you when you get sick.

■ Tanjiro

- Being the oldest of his family, Tanjiro has a lot of experience taking care of people as he has helped his mother with taking care of his siblings, especially when they're sick.

- If you're the type of person that tries to keep working and denies that you're sick (even if it's pretty obvious), he will hover over you and make sure you stop and rest.

- This dude will be bringing you healthy meals in bed, making sure you drink enough fluids, and cuddle you, all until you feel better.

If you're the vomiting type of sick, Tanjiro will hold your hair back for you (if it's long) while you puke it all out in the toilet.

- If you don't like taking medicine, then you bet Tanjiro's gonna be using some of the tricks he used to get his younger siblings to take their medicine on you.

- He will try to be by your side to help you get better as much as possible, but not so much that you feel smothered.

■ Kanao

- Being the younger sister of Shinobu and having lots of experience taking care of people in the Butterfly Estate, you know for sure she knows what she's doing.

- Kanao will be bringing you medicine and healthy meals that are specially made for when someone is sick.

- When taking care of you, she will be somewhat strict, but only if you're proving to be difficult and not taking the medicine or refusing to rest.

- If you're the vomiting type of sick, Kanao will help you when you're puking it out and will clean you up without batting an eye. If you feel bad about it afterwards, she'll reassure you with a smile and tell you that it doesn't bother her as long as you get better.

- Kanao won't hover by your side, but will keep tabs on how you're feeling and periodically check on you take sure you're okay.

- If you want her to stay by your side though, she will and you'll both just cuddle and/or she'll read to you.

- I also feel like she'll probably get you to take some vitamins after you've gotten better to improve your immune system and make sure you have less of a chance of getting sick again.

■ Zenitsu

- I don't think Zenitsu has a lot of experience taking care of other people but I do know that he will try his best to make sure you get better quickly.

- With his super hearing, he'll probably hear that your sick before you actually tell him. He can also tell if it's just a cold or if it's a fever by your heart rate, not just by taking your temperature.

- This boy will dot on you until you feel better. Want food? He'll get it for you. Feel headachy? He'll get you a cool towel for your forehead.

- Even though he himself hates taking medicine, Zenitsu will persuade you to take it, while complaining with you on how bad it tastes. (He may or may not have asked Tanjiro on how to trick you into taking the medicine, shhh)

- Zenitsu will be by your side all the time to make sure you're doing okay, if you need him for anything, basically smothering you in his worry and wanting to be by your side when you get better.

- He is definitely asking Tanjiro for advice on how to care for you though, because even though he's inexperienced in taking care of others, he really wants to do his best for you and want you to get better.

■ Nezuko

- Now with Nezuko being a demon, she can't really take care of you during the day, but when night comes she's doing all she can for you.

- Being the eldest after Tanjiro means she too had helped take care of the younger siblings and knows just what to do when someone is sick.

- She'll change the cool towel on your forehead for you, make sure you have water to keep hydrated, and monitor your condition throughout the night.

- If you wake up to go puke, Nezuko will be by your side helping you, and will help clean you up with gentle care too.

- If you're having trouble sleeping, then Nezuko'll cuddle you as you sleep and/or hum you to sleep with a lullaby, staying awake to make sure you get your rest and to make sure she gets back into her box before dawn breaks.

■ Inosuke

- This boy has never taken care of someone else when they're sick, being raised by boars in the mountains and all. That doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to in his own way though.

- Being raised in the mountains, I'm sure Inosuke has some homeopathic remedies that he used instead of regular medicines.

- He won't be actively taking care of you but will bring you little gifts to make you feel better like acorns or really pretty rocks he found.

- Inosuke will also eat with you in your bed if you can't really move that much without feeling nauseous. And if you get headaches then he'll be slightly quieter when around you and won't yell as often.

- Inosuke will check up on you sometimes to see if you're getting better but if you ask him about it he'll make up an excuse saying he's just trying to make sure his minion is ready to fight him yet.

- When you recover, Inosuke will definitely challenge you to a fight to make sure you're still strong enough to be one of his minions. (His way of making sure you're actually okay and feeling better.)

Kamado Tanjiro

Tanjiro noticed how dirty and messy your hair got after you attended a mission with him, and it made him feel distraught for you and your health

So, Tanjiro immediately decides to bring you to a hot spring as fast as possible so he can clean you off and wash your hair

Usually, Tanjiro would care about you getting naked before him but he doesn’t since he has seen naked bodies before, thanks to bathing his siblings back in the past

Tanjiro is one of the best(the other being Nezuko and Genya) when it comes to hairwashing. He has had plenty of experience and his massaging is very relaxing

His cheeks are hot and he is nervous as you let him touch your hair. His brain remarks on how beautiful your hair is

Eventually, you splash Tanjiro with some of the water and reach for the cleaning soaps he brought with him for you. At first, he’d retaliate but then

He just can’t say no. As he gets unchanged quickly and slides into the warm water to let you clean his hair. And my god, he is in bliss the entire time

Kamado Nezuko

Nezuko notices how dirty your uniform and hair is after you go visit her. She doesn’t like the idea of you getting irritated by bugs so she hatches a idea

With her big brother’s help, she takes you a hot spring and starts tugging down your clothes so you’ll get naked. She wants to set her plan in motion

Like with Tanjiro, you being naked before her isn’t a problem. She has seen a person naked long ago when she use to help bathe her younger siblings

Nezuko is very good at hairwashing, even with her claws. She sits legscrossed behind you as she rubs down each and every spot, then rinses it to make sure you’re spotless. Her massages are a bit more intense, due to her claws and strength, but still enjoyable

Nezuko feels her heart race wildly as you sigh in relief. You’re enjoying her touch, though, she doesn’t really know how to react to it so she bites her lip

You ask Nezuko to join in the hot spring so you can wash her hair back, and she doesn’t miss a beat. Immediately tearing off her clothes and jumping in

She can’t say no to you or refuse. As she sits in your lap, shrunken down to her mini-size and feeling your hair comb through her long hair, she loves every second of this moment

Agatsuma Zenitsu

Zenitsu will always find you beautiful in all ways, but the smell of disgusting earth dirt was bothersome, especially on you so he immediately wanted to fix that

Zenitsu brought you to a hot spring and with all the materials he could possibly get, begins working on cleaning you up so you’ll be extra beautiful again

He doesn’t have much experience nor confidence in hairwashing as he had nobody to clean back throughout his life but he has done it before, on his beloved grandpa. So he manages

Zenitsu is blushing hysterically, feeling your smooth warm naked body and silky hair between his fingers. He will treasure this day like no other as he is adoring the fact he can touch his crush’s hair

He is respectful of your space so he doesn’t want to get in with you, but when you ask with begging eyes if you can wash his hair as a thank you, he doesn’t say anything else. He hops in

He quickly gets unchanged and slides in, his face redder than a tomato as you scrub through his electric yellow locks. Zenitsu simply loves how amazing you are massaging as he isn’t the best at it himself though he tries

Why would he decline your wish when you are okay with bathing with him. You wanted him in so you clearly trust him. He is in actual heaven as he lays his head back in your chest half-asleep to let you clean off the grime on his shoulders

Hashibira Inosuke

Inosuke views dirt as a healthy layer of protection from the Earth but it can contract diseases and that be put upon you is a nightmare for the lovestruck Hashibira

So he quickly drags you over to the nearby hot spring and basically throws you in, he will clean you himself with his rather firm hands that he isn’t very gentle with… otherwise, he isn’t that good at massaging

Insouke has literally ZERO hair washing experience as he had no humans apart of his life for a long time. But he has seen Tanjiro wash Nezuko’s hair before so he does his best to mimic him

Insouke won’t admit it but he is very nervous and high-strung about touching your hair and seeing your naked body. Sure, the body is natural but he feels as if he is being a bit odd with seeing yours so soon

He is actually well-overdone for a wash himself so he decides, “on his own accordance”, to join you in the hot spring, trying his best for hide the fact he is going in purely for you, his queen of the mountains

He is a bit self-consciousness of showing you his face but the way you carefully rub down his hair with a smile, he’d say you like his looks. Insouke hides his blush by dipping half down into the water, he is too stubborn to admit his feelings

He doesn’t let you wash his hair for too long as he goes off to start swimming. He did really enjoy feeling his unrecognised crush’s hands on him and even after the whole event, still feels your hands running through his hair at night

Kanao Tsuyuri

She actually cares for cleanliness as Shinobu taught her to always look after herself hygienically so when she spots how dirty you are at the moment, she is asking Shinobu if she can take you to the hot spring

Kanao is very nervous, as she approaches you and leads you to the hot spring and asks if you can get in. You are always nice so she isn’t worried about a rejection but she is still is

Her heart beats wildly as she covers her eyes at you getting undressed. She doesn’t want to be creepy and stare at you, her face is hot and red. She isn’t use to feeling something so intense

Kanao has some experience in hair washing. She sometimes cleans the Butterfly Assistants with Shinobu, then sometimes straight up Shinobu when she is sick. She does her absolute best for you

Kanao is gentle and considerate with the way she rubs your skin and combs through your hair. She will never be rough so her massages and overall cleaning is soft and careful. She doesn’t wish to hurt you when you’re suppose to be calm

You grab the cloth Kanao was using on you and rub it on her leg gently, signing that you want her to get in. She hesitates for a very long time, visibly almost as red as a beet at your wish. You want her to get in with you?! Is she dreaming! Her crush wants to bath with her?

Kanao silently hides behind the tree to get undressed and slowly creeps in as you’re looking away, staring ahead until you notice her and, undo her hairpin to begin washing her hair. She loves how gentle your touch is, caving into you in bliss and letting you treat her for her kindness

Shinazugawa Genya

Genya cares a lot for you, just the slightest scratch has him frantically checking you for blood stains or infections. The moment he sees how dirty your skin and hair is, he is arranging a hot spring cleanup session

Genya lets you lead him to the hot spring instead. He wants you to feel like he is doing this for you, not him. As he doesn’t care how you look, he just wants you to be safe and hygienic, more than anything

Matching Tanjiro and Nezuko, Genya has hairwashing experience and quite a lot of it, may I add, due to how many siblings he use to have. He has cleaned somebody before and he has seen a naked body before, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get flustered over you getting unchanged

He is very good at massaging, if not one of the best of the Kamaboko Squad. His hands are firm and diligent but his pressure is soft, he’ll make sure all the dust and grime is gone and he’ll chop through your hair until you’re sinking in pleasure

Genya is nervous throughout the entire time, nervous and flustered beyond the point of red. As being around his crush so vulnerable makes him worried that he may seem creepy for asking to clean you himself. Luckily for him, you don’t mind

Genya will take a lot of convincing to get in the hot spring with you when you ask him too. He tries his best to respect your boundaries and tries to politely decline your request but the way your eyes glass over in sadness has his heat breaking

He just slides in defeat, with his clothes piled besides yours as you go through his thick, somewhat dirty locks and soap-bud them out. He likes feeling you this close, but he is so tense that you have to rub down his shoulders for him to finally relax

He can’t help but notice even the smallest change in your daily look and create some sort of compliment out of it. He finds it more meaningful to put his love into words and to really show you how much he loves and treasures you.

He enjoys just being in each other presence. Whether you both are doing things together, or your doing completely separate task. Tanjiro is perfectly content with just embracing your presence. He enjoys when he you come to him after seeming out his presence just so the two of you can enjoy anything, together.

While she can’t use her voice to express herself, NEZUKO prefers to use actions. She enjoys helping out others, especially you with anything. Whether your lifting a box somewhere or your setting up a table for dinner, nezuko will be on standby to try and help you. She’ll fight by your side to protect you as she’s seen you do the same for her.

Nezuko likes spending time with you, as well as doing things with you! She treasures when you braid through her hair or even help her with an injury despite her being able to heal herself. She likes being close to you, seeing you as a more parental figure in her life. When she’s able to come out of her box when the sun sets, her first task once she sees you is to swoop in for a hug.

ZENITSU, not surprisingly thrives off of physical touch. Every time he lays eyes on you, he’ll run while chanting your name to swoop in and give you as right off a hug as he can. Any type of affection in a physical form is something he can and will do, whether it’s a sweet hug before bed or pestering you and poking you while your trying to train. Zenitsu will find a way to do it!

The boy’s self esteem issues shouldn’t be as high as they are. So any time of comforting and reassuring words are sure to make him melt. He can’t keep his composure hearing you chant praises while he’s training leading to multiple accidental injuries. Other times he’s almost brought to tears in privacy as you can mutter compassionate words to make sure he feels only the best about himself.

Being one of the only proper ways he knows how to show affection. INOSUKE will be sure to bother you with any stunt he can pull. Wrapping his arms around you neck while he laughs about anything, or ruffling your hair in a playful manor when your around. Growing up in the woods didn’t really teach him any proper forms of love at all..

Any praises that come from your mouth are sure to hype him up for anything that he’s facing. Considering his whole ‘king of the mountains’ dynamic this sure fuels his ego into becoming an even better slayer. What he doesn’t realize is how much your words stick to him. As in the depths of the night his minds trace back to your words and he finds himself asking why your words made his heart flutter in ways he’s never felt.

KANAO loves and embraces being in the presence of each other. Whether your seeking out her, or she’s seeking out you. Being in each other presence is something sacred that she treasures. Similar to Tanjiro, she doesn’t mind what your doing when your alongside each other. You could both bring in a comfortable silence doing completely separate things and she’ll still believe it’s a moment well spent with you.

Poor sweet GENYA who’s to embarrassed to put his love into words that he does it best with actions. He tries to help you out with anything you really do it could be the smallest task and Genya will still insist for him to help you. He wants to show you he cares for you, and taking all the task your responsible with so you can relax for yourself is his go to way to show you.

Your words fluster him but he treasures what you say dearly. He’s constantly ashamed of himself for what he does and for his choices from the past, so any reassuring words will lead straight to his heart. He’s been flustered just by hearing you compliment him more then he admits, your words of praise and confirmation that you love him for who he is rings in his ear at dusk. He just can’t help but fall in love even more.

So a bunch of people have been liking my Demon Slayer a/b/o AU idea. I’m seriously considering making a small series about it but I need to decide some things before I write it.

1.) The reader’s breathing style. I’ve seen so many fanfics where the reader uses celestial or space/star breathing that’s a mix between sun and moon breathing. I don’t want to do that, so I created my own style that’s an offset of both stone and thunder breathing. Since sound breathing is an offset of thunder breathing, I mixed mine. The breathing style is called Rave Breathing. Basically it’s a more strength based form of sound breathing and is music based. The reader’s weapon would be Nichirin nunchucks. But this kind of breathing might not fit well with the reader being an Omega since I originally created the breathing style for a half demon reader.

2.) The reader’s family. Should the reader be close to a member of the Kamoboko squad? Should they be a relative that followed their family member and learned from a previous Hashira like Zenitsu and Tanjiro, or should they be like Inosuke and create their own breathing style. I plan to have the reader meet Tanjiro during final selection and with him being the kind person he is, he vows to keep the reader safe and protect them. Thus leading to them being a member of the Kamaboko squad.

3.) Should I create Individual endings for each potential romantic partner or should I just pick one romantic partner? I originally planned to have the reader go through their own training arc with each Hashira, that way they build relationships with each pillar and would eventually have the reader choose whoever and I’d create endings for each pillar/love interest.
