I can just imagine Kaladin in his heraldic therapy sessions when it comes out that no, Taln didn't and probably wouldn't've broken, but because Chana had a child, and then that child killed her, she accidentally started the Final Desolation or whatever we're calling it.
oh yeah, and then it's revealed that Nale actually sent a skybreaker to kill an up-and-coming radiant of the Sadeas princedom on advice from Ishar, who turns out not to be Amaram, who, by the way, knew Taln had Returned, but actually Kaladin, who then KILLS the Skybreaker, who also just so happens to be (maybe??) Chana's child, and then becomes a Herald. (oh yeah, and the fucking THERAPIST THEY'RE TALKING TO!)

What will Kal's Vorin holy name be?
1) Kalak 2
2) Kaladalak
3) Kaladinidalak, Herald of the Kaladinsdale Kaladinisdome
4) Kaladinhhhhhh
5) They claim Syl is the Herald because Sylys works better
if enough of standard vorinism survives the end of book 5 to still give a shit about parallelism it's anyone's guess lol. wow. he's going to HATE this when he shows back up in the narrative
#if kaladin comes back and finds out hes like a canonized saint now he's going to be so pissed#sa5 spoilers#sa5#wind and truth#wat spoilers#kowt spoilers#asks

Kaladinidalak
Pitying the poor ardent who has to symmetrical-ise Kal’s name now he’s a herald. Kalalak. Kala’alak. Kaladidalak. None of these are good options. There’s already a Kalak, even. Religious scholars are gonna HATE this.
