Best Eco-Friendly Textiles Solution For Your SS24 Collection
Suvetah's philosophy is "slow and soulful," crafting environmentally friendly textiles that whisper tales of sunshine-kissed fields and whispered promises to the planet. Because SS24 isn't just about what you wear, it's about who you are. It's about embracing a future where fashion and the planet dance hand-in-hand, where style and sustainability tango under the summer sun. And Suvetah's got the soundtrack for this eco-chic revolution.
Tumblr media
Organic cotton remains a reliable go-to for its breathability, comfort, and versatility. Grown without harmful chemicals and pesticides, it uses less water and land, making it a gentle giant in the textile world. Plus, organic cotton comes in a variety of weights and textures, perfect for everything from breezy sundresses to crisp shirting. Look for GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification to ensure the highest ethical and environmental standards.
2. Hemp: The All-Natural Powerhouse
Tumblr media
3.Organic Double Gauze: Breathable Bliss
Tumblr media
Double gauze deserves a special mention in the sustainable fabric sphere. Made from two layers of lightweight organic cotton loosely woven together, it retains the benefits of cotton- breathable, soft and comfortable while adding a delightful crinkled texture and extra airiness. Think floaty summer dresses, billowy blouses, and ultra-soft baby blankets. Plus, double gauze gets softer with every wash, adding a touch of vintage charm to your wardrobe. Brands like Kokka Fabrics and Vritti Designs offer stunning organic double gauze options in a rainbow of colors, perfect for those breezy summer days
4. Kala Cotton: Natural Beauty with an Eco-Conscious Soul
Tumblr media
Hailing from the sun-drenched deserts of Kachchh in Gujrat, India, Kala cotton is more than just a fabric; it's a story woven into every thread. Most people think that this cotton is black because of its name, Kala, which means black in most Indian languages. But its name refers to the boll that remains after extracting the cotton fibre. It will always be pure in form and not like other kinds of cotton, such as regular cotton.
5.Banana fabric
Tumblr media
Banana fabric isn't made from the fruit itself, but from the fibers found in the stem and peels of the banana plant. These fibers are surprisingly strong and versatile, making them perfect for weaving into textiles. The process starts by extracting the fibers from the plant, which can be done through various methods depending on the desired result. Once extracted, the fibers are spun into yarn and then woven into fabric.we can expect to see banana fabric become more widely available and used in a variety of clothing and accessories. With its sustainable credentials and unique properties, banana fabric is sure to be a major player in the future of eco-friendly fashion.Share

Wholesale Clothing in India: A Treasure Trove for Thrifty Fashionistas
India, the land of vibrant colors and intricate textiles, isn’t just a tourist paradise; it’s a haven for wholesale clothing enthusiasts. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur launching your boutique or a seasoned retailer looking to spruce up your inventory, India’s wholesale markets offer a kaleidoscope of styles, fabrics, and prices that will blow your mind. But navigating this vast ocean of garments can be overwhelming. This blog is your ultimate guide to wholesale clothing in India, unveiling hidden gems and established hubs across the country.
Wholesale Clothing Markets in India
1. Tirupur
Tirupur known as the “hosiery capital of India,” Tirupur is a one-stop shop for casual wear. T-shirts, sweaters, pajamas, and leggings are available at rock-bottom prices, making it a paradise for retailers catering to youth and activewear markets. The Gandhi Maidan Market and Nehru Market are the go-to places for bulk buying.
2. Delhi
The bustling capital city houses some of the biggest wholesale markets in India. Chandni Chowk, a labyrinthine network of lanes, is legendary for its silks, saris, and lehengas at unbelievably low prices. Karol Bagh market and Lajpat Rai Market cater to a contemporary crowd with trendy western wear and accessories. Delhi also boasts dedicated markets like Khari Baoli for woolen goods and Bhagirath Palace for fabrics.
3. Mumbai
The fashion capital of India, Mumbai, pulsates with a modern vibe. Crawford Market, a British-era architectural marvel, houses an eclectic mix of wholesalers, from ethnic kurtas to international brands. Hill Road in Bandra is a trendy haven for bohemian chic clothing, while Fashion Street in Dadar caters to budget-conscious shoppers. If you’re looking for high-end labels, head to Kala Ghoda or Fort areas.
4. Surat
The “textile city of India,” Surat, is a paradise for anyone seeking ethnic wear. From sarees woven with zari threads to intricately embroidered kurtis, Surat’s wholesale markets like Ghod Dod Road and Rander Road offer unparalleled variety and quality. You’ll also find a flourishing market for men’s wear, including shirts, jeans, and sherwanis.
5. Jaipur
The “pink city” isn’t just about palaces and forts; it’s a treasure trove for handloom textiles. Bapu Bazaar is a must-visit for block-printed fabrics, tie-dye sarees, and traditional Rajasthani attire. Johari Bazaar, nestled near Hawa Mahal, offers stunning jewelry and embellishments to complete your ethnic ensembles.
6. Bengaluru
The IT hub of India also boasts a thriving garment industry. Peenya Industrial Area houses numerous factories and wholesalers offering everything from formal wear to sportswear. Commercial Street and Brigade Road are popular with young crowds looking for trendy clothes and accessories.
7. Kolkata
The city of joy retains its old-world charm in its bustling wholesale markets. New Market, established in 1874, is a treasure trove for cotton kurtas, sarees, and leather goods. For western wear, head to Park Street or Gariahat Market. Don’t miss Hogg Market, a colonial-era landmark offering everything from spices to stationery to unique apparel finds.
Finally, Wholesale clothing in India is an adventure. It’s a journey through vibrant colors, intricate fabrics, and friendly haggling. So, pack your bags, brush up on your bargaining skills, and dive into the treasure trove of Indian fashion. Remember, the best deals are often hidden in the corners of bustling markets, waiting to be discovered by the adventurous bargain hunter!

NaNo 4
The hatch opened, bringing light and a wash of fresher air, and it was the other one. Rain. He stayed curled up, protecting his ribs, which were aching. Not as badly as his nose, granted, but that was a constant throb every time he moved his head. There wasn’t much he could do about that.
The stranger climbed up and looked at him, a green bag in their hand. The expression of their face was difficult to read, neutral but heavily focused. They crouched down opposite him, and set about unpacking the bag.
As the man watched, they pulled out bandages, antiseptic in a brown bottle, a tub of cotton buds and gauze. After a rummage, they produced something else, little sticks.
“Splints,” they explained, meeting his gaze. “For your nose. It’s broken. Straighten out for me, let me see your ribs.”
Tentatively, he pushed his legs out flat, slouching forwards without his hands to support him. Rain approached, hands reaching – and then paused. Swallowed.
“I need to see underneath your shirt.”
He nodded.
“Don’t...” They hesitated. “Hold still, alright? Otherwise I’m leaving.”
He was about to nod again, but that wasn’t holding still. He froze in place. He needed this, he thought, something to make the pain dull and the bleeding stop. If they were offering it, he’d take it for whatever cost.
As he watched, unmoving, they pushed his shirt down and lifted up the tank top he was wearing underneath. There were already yellowing marks where the woman had hit, spread in uneven clusters down protruding ribs. You’ve always been skinny, a thought drifted into his head. Ever since college.
He didn’t know if it was true. Rain felt along them, pressed plasters over the open wounds, daubed the stinging, alcohol-pungent liquid across them and wiped away the blood. They bandaged his arm, where the woman’s foot had stamped down and twisted it. The tight roll of cloth was good, felt like support, dampening the aching, burning sting of the liquid in the wounds.
“Alright, now your nose,” they said, their voice still low and calm. They hesitated again, then looked up, meeting his gaze. His stomach flipped at the lack of feeling in their eyes. The piercing stare moved from his eyes to his nose, and fingers came up again to lightly probe along the break. They hummed thoughtfully, and without warning, pushed it back into place. Almost straight again.
The man didn’t move, but he couldn’t help the noise of pain that cracked through his chest, nor the tears that rose to his eyes.
The hand hesitated. Rain’s hazel eyes moved up to him again, dark greenish in the dim sunlight.
The man’s throat was thick with sudden fear, and he swallowed, as their fingers moved down the break again, then pushed.
The pain radiated out as an earthquake might, stinging in his eyes, clogging his throat, submerging all of his thoughts in the pressure. He jerked back, another sound cutting through the quiet, his breathing kicking up into high gear, and Rain didn’t move. Their hand held still in the air as they watched him, simple curiosity in their slight frown and attentive gaze. They were watching him. They wanted a reaction. They had the power to get it.
“Hold still,” they repeated quietly, and tears stung in his eyes, he knew that wasn’t fair and they must have known too, but he leant forwards again into their waiting hand.
Splints and something like tape, blood cleaned off his face, and he held perfectly motionless for fear of making this mercy disappear.
Their hands finally dropped. Bloody cotton buds and wipes littered the floor around them both. They looked him over again, and down at what was in their hand. Bruise cream.
They put it back in the bag, and packed up everything else with it. “That’ll do for today. I’ll bring you food later, but here.”
A bottle of water was placed in the gap between them, where the first aid kit had been.
Rain stood, and paused, their long cardigan swaying around their shins. They watched him again, thoughtful.
“You don’t remember anything?” they asked.
He shook his head slowly.
“My name?”
He shook his head. “I heard h-her call you Rain.”
“Her name?”
“I don’t know.”
Their eyebrows rose slightly and they didn’t speak again, turning to descend the ladder... Then stopped. Turned back, tilting their head.
“Do you know yours?”
His head went side to side, ponytail swinging.
“Hm.”
“What—”
They paused again. Their feet were on the ladder, hands on the edges of the hatch. Lauritz swallowed, and tried again, voice weak and rasping lightly. “What is it? My name. Please.”
“I can’t say it,” came the reply, lightly delivered. “I begged it too many times.”
The man flinched and looked down. He was a bad person. He’d learned that now, that he’d hurt these people. They were being kind to him anyway. A roof over his head and food on the way. He could take a few knocks for that.
Wouldn’t be the first time.
He didn’t know when the first time had been.
“What... do you call me?” he asked instead.
Closer to the light, Rain’s eyes were golden. “Kala called you profanity, usually the bastard.”
The bastard. He nodded.
“I called you the rat.”
The rat. He would rather be the rat, he thought. “Thank you.”
Another one of their inscrutable looks, and they were gone, climbing down. He listened to their footsteps walk away, not even pulling up the ladder that time. The hatch was open, that was nice. There was more air, and some sound, and light. The rat didn’t know how he knew, but he had spent a lot of time in the dark.

Now let us spice up the blog with some heavy patterns. It’s been some time since I have been in designs this bold and eye-catching. I used to love wearing this type of style every day, dressing up my outfit with one simple item!
But as I have been doing sheers and simpler designs for some time, it makes such a nice change 🙂
The Spec
Colour: Black-Nude / Poudre-Noir
Size: Small
Denier: 60
Materials: 90% Polyamide, 10% Elastane
Price: £35.00 / Sale £14.00
Website: Luxury Legs – Fogal Kala Tights
My Outfit
Now one way to dress these right up is to go simple with the clothing but bold with the colours. I wore my sheer shirt paired with a bold red skirt. I also added my gold sparkle booties to finish off the look; adding a bit of glam to it never hurt anyone!
My Deets
Bralette: New Look
Shirt: New Look
Skirt: Miss Selfridge
Tights: Fogal
Boots: Next
    The Review
From The Website: Luxury-Legs has managed to source some beautiful Fogal products and are delighted to offer them at a very special price.
Tights in a two-tone look of the 1970s
– Semi-transparent, 60 Denier – Soft, comfort knitted waistband – Flat seam – Cotton-lined gusset
90% Polyamide, 10% Elastane
The Packaging: I cannot tell you how long it’s been since I have worn Fogal, to the point I forgot what their packaging looked like! I have to say it’s pretty dainty and quite old school; basic colours, basic information at the front and of course the model wearing the design on the front.
You have a little more info about the tights at the back, with a keyhole so you can see the design through the packaging.
when you get in, you will need to flip up the cover and unwind them off plain card.
On The Legs: I have to say these look amazing on the legs; a right old school piece! I used a mid of natural lighting and flash so you can see the difference if you was to wear them day into night.
The quality of these are just gorgeous; they really are quite hard to ruin put it that way. No snags, rips or any other problems occurred whilst wearing them. The best part is that these smell amazing as soon as you take them out the packaging; they have that gorgeous new perfumed smell to them!
The fit of them are spot on; there was enough stretch in them for me to be able to set the design as symmetrical as I could and still have a little room to play with as well. These also have a great fitted finish on the legs too, working itself into all the gaps under the knees and around the ankles.
The feel of them are so soft; the denier is quite thick so you get this lovely smooth stretchy material gliding up the legs. It’s so nice I can’t express how luxe they actually are!
The design has got to be one of my favourites to date; it’s bold, it’s statement, it’s mesmerising! As soon as I laid eyes on them, I knew I had to get them to review. They might look like too much is going on, but this is where you do need to think about how you’re gonna pair it so it doesn’t look too much. I mean if you want to, then go for it, but I wanted mine to work altogether rather than make my outfit louder.
The Toes & Ankle: the design works right from the toe seam to the band, which means that these won’t be reinforced. I would take extra care to make sure that your toenails won’t be any issue in these as the last thing you want is a massive hole to occur!
These have plenty of wiggle room around the toes, no extra material around the sides, no pressure added to the toes or feet and a lovely smooth finish.
Around the ankles, it’s just the same; a lovely smooth finish with no wrinkles in sight.
The Waistband: the band also has the design working right up to it, which makes it easier to wear shorter clothing if you wish.
The band itself is a nude colour, and sits so well on the waist. Another great comfortable band I am working with today, giving me no grief. These also have a great amount of elasticity in it no matter how much you wanna tug at it!
Tumblr media
  My Thoughts?
I gotta say this is a bargain buy if you can get your hands on it quick enough! I love the quality of Fogal; I need to get some more pairs to review soon for sure! The design is out there, but as long as you dress it right, these will really bring your outfit to life!
Fogal Kala Tights Now let us spice up the blog with some heavy patterns. It's been some time since I have been in designs this bold and eye-catching.

Please note that this fabric is Handspun, handwoven using traditional weaving techniques, and naturally dyed, so may vary in colour and texture. Note that naturally dyed garments tend to bleed during the first couple of washes before the colour finally stabilizes.
