Miscellaneous JJBA headcanons:

👗 Lisa Lisa's single greatest passion in life after hamon is fashion design. She made all of her and Suzi's dresses and designed several of Caesar's outfits, too. When Joseph walks in on his fierce, ruthless hamon master patiently working on her sewing machine, it's a stunning contrast, to say the least.

🎨 Kakyoin is a very technically proficient artist, but he never had what it takes to make a career out of it. It's still a sore spot decades after he last applied to a formal art school, and to this day, it's one of his greatest regrets. He loves his job as a scientist, though, and displays his art proudly in his office.

🦷 Josuke grows up to a dentist. That way, he can fix up people's teeth lickity-split without causes his patients a ton of pain or emptying their bank accounts. Also he's not tempted to burn himself out trying to insta-heal every sick or dying person in the whole world. Josuke can't watch medical dramas because the thought of someone out there dying of some incurable disease when he could have saved them breaks his heart.

💘 Jonathan took great pains to have the Joestar mansion restored exactly as he remembered it. As much as he loved his father and was proud of his legacy, the real reason he did it was as one last "fuck you" to Dio. These days, it's a famous historical site and is more a museum than a home. The most popular exhibit for tourists is the original version of the statue of the goddess of love, still burned and stained rust red from Dio's blood.

🕊 Joseph had a terrible time trying to pay attention to his studies in university, and Suzi had to practically stand over him and make him do his homework. (If he had been born in a different era, he might have been diagnosed with ADHD.) When Suzi caught a cold and was to sick to help him study for his final exams, he set pigeons loose in every room and caused such an uproar the exams had to be rescheduled.

✏️ Jolyne was studying to be an architect in college. She doesn't get much time to think about it with everything else going on during part 6, but she's secretly heartbroken. She tells Hermès about it one night, and they both ending up comforting each other over their lost dreams.

Volleyball - Jotaro x Reader

It’s been 3 months since DIO’s defeat and no one else deserves a break more than the Crusaders.

Everyone had time to recover from their injuries and although some had worse wounds than others, they still managed to make it out of the otherwise deadly voyage alive.

It was Joseph’s idea for the team to meet-up once more in a popular beach near New York-to hang out as friends for once rather than just allies or colleagues. He promised that any expenses in relation to this one-time hangout would be covered using the “good old Joestar funds” as the old man put it.

And since the new school year wouldn’t start until a month after, and that being around familiar faces was a nice experience, Jotaro wasn’t opposed into joining, more so after knowing you were going too.

Speaking off, a part of him held onto this ounce of pride when you and Jotaro decided to be something more than being “just close friends” and who would’ve guessed that this decision would be made in the middle of a mission to save his mother.

Now, not only is Holly alive and well but he also gained a new lover for her to dote on and gush with.

And whether it was conscious or not, you both stuck around for each other, often finding ways to meet one way or another. It felt nice to have you here with him no matter the place.

So having to hop on board a plane yet again and fly off to the States for a day or two wouldn’t be too excruciating when he knew you’d be there to make the sudden meeting a bit more tolerable.

Day after arrival, here he was- sitting underneath a beach umbrella in his dark shorts, drinking juice while watching his grandfather and Polnareff compete at a game of volleyball. You were there beside him in the shade, dressed in a loose blouse and shorts, applying sun screen as you attempted to convince him to play a game with the crew.

I’d rather be at home. Despite your many tries, Jotaro stayed stubborn and said he’d be fine watching you play with the guys. You didn’t push the offer again and after a sip of your citrus drink and a quick peck on his cheek, off you went to lead a waiting Kakyoin to the playing field.

And for the next few hours, it mostly stayed like this- Jotaro and Avdol resting underneath the shade, him watching the volleyball match with his Walkman in hand listening to music, the Egyptian reading a worn-out book that’s most probably from his archives, and the rest of the group out in the sun playing their 3rd round.

Throughout his time there, Jotaro kept his eye on the game and on you specifically, mirroring your excited smile and laughter with his more subtle lip curl and huffs. In an addition to having himself be yours, the relationship helped him negate all the passing girls who took interest in him and tried to approach him.

Not that he had a hard time ignoring them to begin with it.

What Jotaro hadn’t considered was the onlooking men taking interest of you, and the thought struck him square in head when as a volleyball match ended, one of the nearby boys- an American with a blonde mop of hair and tan skin- walked over to you all smiling and shit.

Normally, you conversing with someone with the opposing sex wouldn’t bother him this much, but the second he watched the guy offering you an ice cream cone bought from the nearby vendor, he could hear himself scoff and scowl. “Why’d you accept that?” He muttered, continuing to glare at the man consistently keeping up a lively conversation with you. “What are they even talking about this long?”

“Such an irritating sight that is, right?” Jotaro glanced at Polnareff coming over to be annoying and take part in this dilemma. Behind him, Kakyoin followed. Both of them crouched by the delinquent and joined him in watching you talk with a stranger. “Can’t be helped when she’s just as attractive as you are.”

“You didn’t seem to mind it when boys from our school approached her though,” Kakyoin said.

“It’s because I know they won’t risk meeting me when they think of trying,” Jotaro replied. “But I got a feeling that guys from here are more gutsy than in Japan.”

To hammer down on that point, the blond began to point to his biceps and not-so-subtly flexed them for you to see, and you responded with a calm, wide-eyed “woah”. Jotaro rolled his eyes, rubbing a hand over his thick bicep once. “Why not head over there then? If you’re this jealous?” Polnareff said.

“I’m not jealous.” Both the cherry-haired and Frenchman stayed silent, giving him a mere deadpan. “… Fine. Just a bit.”

“So go there and introduce yourself as her boyfriend in your-” Kakyoin gestured over Jotaro’s frame. “-punk delinquent-esque ways.”

“And you can’t judge us for poor advice anymore when Nori here upgraded from telling you how to do things to instead doing things your way!” Kakyoin nodded, bumping fists with Polnareff.

Jotaro judged them regardless with one vertical look-over at the both of them. “I still don’t trust any of your advises. Besides,” he sighed. “After knowing her more, I don’t think she’d like me suddenly walking there and getting possessive.”

“But it’s not being possessive when you’re establishing boundaries monsieur Kujo,” Pol said.

“Don’t call me that,” Jotaro scowled. “Also I don’t get why you two are always in my business. It’s annoying. Leave me alone.”

Not that his “threats” were effective against this duo, who simply shared a look with each other before replying. “What are you talking about? We’re buddies!” Polnareff chuckled, wrapping an arm around the raven-haired teenager. “Who am I to leave a pal behind to wallow in their own self-pity?”

“Also to be honest, it’s entertaining to see you struggle over stuff like this,” Kakyoin said with a smirk. That and paired with those shades he bought from Egypt just made him all the more smug. “Gets all the ladies but can’t handle one-”

“You shut-”

“Hey!” All three paused to look at you waving from a distance with that damn American and his friends still standing near you. “These guys want to play a round but Grandpa Joseph’s tapping out for the day. I’m afraid his bones have become too brittle-”

“No it’s not!” Said the groaning old man plopping down on the sand the moment he reached his and Avdol’s shared blanket. “I didn’t want to overpower those kids that’s all!”

“L-”

“We’re tougher than we look gramps!” The blond called out in return just as Jotaro was about to say something to you. And that didn’t help alleviate any increasing irritation boiling in him. “How about you guys?”

“Us?” Pol asked.

“Yeah! A friendly competition between us youngsters sound good?” He said, ball already in hand. “Just one set of 2v2!”

“I’m down-”

Whatever Kakyoin had to say about accepting the invite got cut off as Jotaro stood from his spot and walked over to your side with his hands in his short pockets. By the time you were beside him, the blond and his posse faltered for a second when they saw how much taller, built, and intimidating this supposed teenager from Japan was compared to them.

“I’m joining.”

You gazed up at him with widened eyes and a dash of pink to your cheeks. “Jotaro-ssi…”

“O-Oh for sure man,” the American cleared his throat, nervous as he looked over his shoulder to his friends. “How about you guys-”

“You chickening out?” Jotaro said in his characteristic blunt mannerisms. “You wanted to play volleyball, looked for a player, and now that he’s here, you’re passing the torch to your buddies?” From the corner of his vision, you crossed your arms facing them, more amused than pissed at his intervention.

He could spot the single bead of sweat dripping down the side of his face and his Adam’s apple bobbing as he tried to play off his cold feet with false bravado. “Nothing wrong than wanting to let my pals have a shot at a game, but since you’re asking for it,” he made show as he tossed and caught the ball. “It’s game on. Though I got to warn you, I have a nasty spike.”

“It’s true!” Polnareff yelled out from the sidelines. “I saw how he moves on the other net.”

Jotaro rolled his eyes and walked off to your side of the field. “Hey, do you even know how to play volleyball?” You said with a whisper. “You haven’t played once during our time here.”

“I’ve watched you and the others play this entire afternoon enough times for me to figure out how to do it,” he said with casual ease, glancing down at you with a shrug. “If a novice can beat an expert Darby at his favorite baseball game, then this will be nothing.”

“Well yeah but you know playing a video game is drastically different than playing an actual game, right?”

He huffed, unbothered. “Makes this better for me.”

With everyone in their respective spots, one of the blond’s friends served as the referee and starting from the other guy’s side, the whistle blew and the ball flew.

True to his word and his ability to study and adapt on the spot, Jotaro managed to keep up with you and his opponents on the playing field, exchanging the ball countless times without break. All the while, the Crusaders watched this one game like die-hard fans at the Superbowl.

It shouldn’t be that much of a shocker when he knew that both of you had physical advantages: Your lithe self allowing you to be more agile and nimble to traverse the court and catch the ball before it fell, while he had the strength and height to send the ball back to the other side, often times targeted to the edges.

And just as the timer was about to hit the 29 minute mark, Jotaro noticed the American get into a stance with a smirk plastered over his tan face. He cocked his head and rose a brow. The nasty spike I assume.

You sent the ball flying to their side and just as he predicted, the blond took over center field and leapt, arm reared and hand poised to deliver his so-called “nasty spike”.

His palm got into contact with the ball’s surface and with a clear smack, the ball was sent flying over to your side. But as he was about to receive, a glint of rose gold zipped past his vision and next thing he knew, the ball was up in the air as if it was caught mid flight to the ground.

One second glimpse at your knowing look, Jotaro didn’t hesitate to follow your footsteps. He leapt off the sand and rose his hand. In that split second, Star Platinum’s purple gloved hand enveloped his and upon contact with its surface, the ball practically launched itself at the American at a raging speed akin to an incoming missile.

The sand erupted in a loud boom, causing a shallow crater with plumes of sand flying off in many directions as the ball hit the ground. It rolled off the now-incapacitated blond stranger’s body.

His friends couldn’t even move nor make the effort to blow the whistle from the shock of it all.

Jotaro tongued the inside of his cheek, casually pocketing his hands back in his shorts as he glared at the American. “Nasty spike ,” he scoffed. “What a joke.”

You whistled, impressed as you looked down the crater. “You did a number on him.”

He reached over to grab your wrist. “Let’s get out of here.” With a gentle tug, you complied to his wish and followed him out the sandy court. He didn’t even bother meeting up with the Crusaders, who were equally stunned at what had happened.

“You’re not at all questioning why I’m not at all offended at you knocking the man out?”

“I’m questioning why you decided to cheat and use Sanctuary midway.”

“The game was ending in a minute anyways,” you said. “And I wanted to finish it off with a bang.”

“By letting me launch a ball at his face?” You smiled and nodded. “And you’re okay with that?”

“He’s a weirdo,” you grimaced. “His fetishes were showing when he said something about how exotic and pretty I was, and it pissed me off.”

Hearing that made Jotaro want to turn around to the guy for one more solid punch to the face. “But I saw you talking to him for that long.”

“Made you jealous, didn’t it?” You said, smug. “I lowkey wanted to bait you into playing a game with me by riling you up a bit, and for you to finish off that creep with what he deserved.”

“I wasn’t-” He bit his tongue, not finishing his train of thought. “I was a bit jealous and I’m glad I got to wreck that shit-eating face of his in the process, but can you not make me feel like this on purpose? It doesn’t sit right with me.”

“Duly noted and I’m sorry,” you said, eyes cast downward as you bowed your head a bit in sincere apology. “I’ll just tell you outright who and when to punch someone next time, promise!”

Jotaro paused in his tracks and with one good look at your determined sparkling eyes, couldn’t help but sigh and smile at you with uncharacteristic fondness.

“Yeah... I’d prefer that.”

Either in a Jotakak au where Jotaro spends his time helping Kakyoin live a normal life and the sheer intimacy of helping his partner, or even just platonically where they both have to spend the next decade or so recovering from the trauma of surviving Dio.

Jotaro and Kakyoin are so fascinating, even when they’re not particular faves, I’ll be honest — I really do like close relationships between damaged characters.

Joseph being Mind and Caesar being Heart, being two sides of the same coin while also picking up where the other lacks. Joseph, despite being a mind player, starts off by being more driven by his emotions and heart and being reckless, but because during their session and as he trains with Lisa Lisa and Caesar he learns to be in tune with his Mind aspect and he begins to make more rational, strategic decisions. This leads him to choose not to go rushing into battle to beat the Pillarmen. Caesar, on the other hand, is his complete opposite. He starts off thinking much more logically and decisively, and though he had already started to align with his aspect it's not until he trains with and grows closer to Joseph that he fully realizes what it means to be a Heart player. However, because of his growth it causes him to be more emotionally driven and he runs off to beat the Pillarmen only to be defeated by Wamuu.

Stardust Crusaders takes place in the universe created by Dio and Jonathan when they won their session in Phantom Blood! The reason why it's not in a Universe created by Joseph is because he didn't actually end up winning his session in Battle Tendency. Instead, Joseph uses his Seer of Mind abilities to figure out hos to pull a Scratch out his ass somehow even without a Time or Space player. He uses Caesar's bandana to protect his soul (because Caesar was a Heart player) and is able to stay alive and keep his memories post-scratch. The reason Dio is also still alive after the Scratch is because of Enya.

In the Stardust Crusaders session, Dio steals the black queen's ring and becomes the Main Enemy the Crusaders have to beat in order to win the game. Jotaro does so after godtiering and gaining access to his Witch of Time powers (which are ofc the same as Dio's) and he clutches it for Polnareff and Joseph in order to win their game and claim the Ultimate Reward.

For some reason I imagine Reimi and Kira somehow ended up in a two-player session where Kira killed Reimi and abandoned his own session and made it to Josuke’s timeline by traversing the Void. He wanted to simply live his life until he realized that Josuke and his friends had started a new session and again used his Void powers to survive and now trying to get to another timeline so he can live a peaceful life. However, Reimi’s dream self is still alive and she talks to Josuke and his friends when they sleep and tells them about Kira. They then try to find Kira in order to stop him from going to another timeline and killing innocent girls.

They also don't win their game, but Josuke teams up with Jotaro and they use their Time powers to transport the group to a timeline of Morioh where none of them played the game!

Lisa Lisa taught Jotaro how to use Hamon, which ends up coming in very handy during the trip to Egypt

What it says on the tin. Caesar survives Battle Tendency and joins in on the Stardust Crusader Chaos. He gets a gun.

Exorcism

When Jotaro locks himself in jail, Pucci catches wind of it and “exorcises” his evil spirit. He then convinces Jotaro to come with him and meet Dio

Josuke’s existence is discovered a few months before Stardust Crusaders because Tomoko was hospitalised. He ends up living with Holly and Jotaro for a while and gets sick alongside Holly

I want to clear the air and say that I don't ship Polnareff and Kakyoin as a sexual couple, more like a friend-relationship and a platonic one at least.

Even I think it's disgusting as I want to throw up at the thought of shipping them together in as their age-gap is significant.

And no, I don't self-ship with Kakyoin either. Much to the fact he would be in my mom's age if he survived and the fact that he died as a 17-year old.

The ship I'm into in the JotaKak, kinda self-explanatory... (I still see them as friends in the beginning as they're 17 and people age up Kakyoin in Part 4 AUs and part 6 AUs). I shall also note that I don't like part 3/part 4 (or 6) equaliment shipping.

I had to vent this out as a result of being denied and blocked, which led to the misunderstanding due to the fact I'm 37 and I should know better not to send the same request about drawing Seraph Kakyoin to someone who felt uncomfortable about that. I feel bad about doing wrong things and I seriously hope this doesn't cancel me outright.

I feel like a lot of people in the jjba fandom seem to genuinely struggle with how to flesh out Jotaro as a character or trying to imagine how he might have matured as a person without keeping Kakyoin's death canon. The single biggest reason I don't really explore the idea of killing him off in any of my aus is that I hate the idea of Kakyoin's entire existence being reduced to Jotaro's manpain. I'm not really a big fan of stuffing underutilized side characters into the fridge to begin with so the hero can get all sad and determined, honestly.

I think Jotaro doesn't necessarily have to be a less deep or interesting character in continuities where Kakyoin survived, nor do Kakyoin survives aus automatically have to be "softer" or less angsty.

Jotaro frowns as you frantically point across the street. She wasn’t too fond of unscheduled meet ups and sure hoped wthat wasn’t the case, but after a few more seconds of squinting she hummed in resignation.

“I think it is.” She sighs.

With an excited grin, you look both ways before taking Jotaro’s hand in yours and crossing the road.

“Come on, we’ve gotta say hi.”

Jotaro doesn’t say much to complain but she let’s you drag her with you. It’s only when you start calling out the man’s name that she grumbles in retaliation.

Did you really have to say hi to everyone you saw in public?!

“Nori! Noriaki! Hey!”

The red haired man turned round from the window he was currently peering in. Once he saw you and Jotaro, he warmly smiled.

Oh! Hey, you two! Haven't seen you both in awhile.”

“Right?! It’s been way too long.”

Jotaro stands back as the both of you hit it off. It’s not like Jotaro didn’t know the man; Noriaki was more your friend during university than hers. She didn’t interact with him much unless alongside you.

Now that she thinks about it, she doesn't think she’s ever had a single conversation with him alone.

“So, Jotaro. What you’ve been up to?”

Noriaki turns to Jotaro and suddenly she can’t remember a single interesting thing that’s happened since the last time she’s seen him.

Scratching the back of her neck, the black haired woman looked around the street in distress.

“Uh, not much. I’ve really just been hanging out with Luna. Working. Surviving?”

Noriaki lets out a chirpy laugh.

“Sounds about similar to me.”

“We should all totally hang out soon. It’d be nice to just catch up and stuff.” You say, clapping your hands together.

Jotaro wants to decline, say she’s probably way too ‘busy’ for this sort of time passer, but it’s the glint in Noriaki’s eye that pushes for her to agree.

“Uh…yeah. Sounds cool.”

Noriaki’s purplish orbs light up, his smile wide.

“Perfect!” His hands clap together. “I’ll deffo be up for it. I even have some places in mind — is it okay if I plan it?”

You enthusiastically nod. “Sure!”

Jotaro doesn’t know what to say. Not like she was afraid but more because she thought the conversation would have ended by now.

But it hadn’t.

“Hey, Jotaro, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten your number.”

Jotaro turns to Noriaki with wide eyes. Slightly swearing underneath her breath was all she could do. It’s been so long since having someone asked her what her number was. But what Jotaro realises, is that she actually doesn’t mind this time.

“Oh. Yeah.”

Jotaro pulls her phone out of her pocket and then hands it to Kakyoin and he does the same. The both of them type each others contact in the other person’s phone and you can only smile on with a knowing look.

“Now we can keep in contact with each other, yay!” You enthuse.

Jotaro makes a grumbly sound at your sparkly expression as she retrieves her phone back from Kakyoin.

She side eyes you but it doesn’t stay for long. For once, she was just happy she had another number within her partially empty contact list.

Jojo x Percy Jackson and the Olympians AU

(Inspired by this post I made. This AU idea has taken over my mind)

Dio Brando - Vessel of Kronos (Greek Titan of Time). Kronos, after many centuries of being trapped in Tartus, needed a new form to gain back the power he lost, so Dio was born. He only comes into the full power of Kronos after his time underwater, loosing what was left of his humanity and fully becoming Kronos' vessel DIO.

Jotaro Kujo - Son of Poseidon (Greek God of the Sea and Earthquakes). Until a week ago Jotaro was a regular high school student, if a bit mean due to his reputation as a delinquent, but things change when he finds out he can manipulate water into an unstoppable humanoid warrior as his godly abilities are more then originally thought to be.

During his fight with DIO, Kronos saw potential in the teen, deciding to make him his new vessel. Thanks to Jotaro's kind and stubborn soul however, Kronos won't be doing any evil schemes anytime soon. Jotaro rarely uses his time abilities after what it did to his friends but it comes in handy in dangerous situations.

Joseph Joestar - He doesn't have a godly parent but is one of the gods' favourite heroes so he's able to survive a lot more then average. Also having some of his grandfather's abilities is a perk.

Noriaki Kakyoin - Son of Plutus (Greek God of Wealth). Kakyoin has the ability to create jewels (his favourite are Emeralds) thanks to his godly parent but also due to that he always felt isolated as he had no one to talk to about his demigod side (not even his mother) so when Dio finds the boys he's tricked into believing he's found a home, that's until Jotaro finds him and shows him true friendship.

Mohammed Avdol - Son of Ra (Egyptian God of the Sun). Unlike the others on the team Avdol's godly parent is Egyptian, the Leader of the Gods, and protector the people. Due to that he has a great connection to the spiritual world, which helps for a fortune teller, he is also able to summon a fire spirit similar in appearances to his birth father's true form.

Jean Pierre Polnareff - Son of Aphrodite (Greek God of Beauty, Passion & Love). You'd know Polnareff was the son of Aphrodite from a mile away, he's quite the charming man who's not the most intelligent on the team, caring more for his hair and appearance then battle strategy but that doesn't mean he isn't a capable fighter as he is quite handy with a rapier and a hero at heart.

Iggy - No one knows of his origins, if he is a monster who thanks to the Mist looks like a strange Boston Terrier or if his abilities to morph sand came from a divine blessing, either way Iggy definitely won't spill the beans.

Jonathan Joestar - Son of Themis (Greek Goddess of Justice). Did the gods create Jonathan as a way to destroy Dio before Kronos could fully form in the mortal world? Maybe or maybe it was it an unfortunate accident that the two young boys would end up in each other's lives. Either way his existence would shake the world forever.

Enemy stand users - A mixture between demigods who were drawn to Dio's ways and monsters released from the depth of Tartus to stop the Joestars before they got the chance.

The 9 Egyptian Gods - Avatars of 9 Egyptian Gods that believed in Dio's ways.

Harmon - though it's origins are mysterious it is said to have been created by Apollo himself to his many followers. Anyone who uses it, demi-god of his or not, are given his blessing and gain a tiny percent of his abilities: healing (though it can't bring people back from the dead), foresight and the ability to manipulate energy and oxygen.

5.) What was their favorite destination along the journey to Egypt? Do they have any fond memories from the downtime between fights?

One of the places Lia loved the most was Varanasi.

Although she was still feeling a bit confused about the whole situation regarding Dio and the flesh buds, it didn't stop her curiosity from stopping her, making her want to wander around as she, Kakyoin, and Jotaro waited for Joseph and Polnareff. It even got to the point where she got in a bit of a problem with a merchant after wandering by herself.

She also loved the Red Sea once outside the submarine. While she isn't that interested in the ocean, the beauty underwater amazed her, and the place was spacious enough for her to feel comfortable even underwater.

9.) What enemies and/or stands did your OC find the least tolerable? Who did they hate the most? Either to fight against or as a person in general.

Users? J. Geil is the winner, she repulsed him after finding out what he did. But that's a pretty common answer.

When it comes to stands and their users, one of the persons she didn't like the most was Daniel J. D'arby and his Osiris.

She isn't fan of bets and games of chance, so finding an enemy that used said things as "fighting method", and cheated while doing so, made her quite grumpy, more with how quickly everyone jumped to play under his tricks.

2.) How did your OC encounter and begin working for DIO? What role do they play?

Ohoh.

She met Dio in Cairo, while being on her graduation trip with friends. She had stayed at the hotel by herself as her friends went out to have fun, but grew bored after some minutes passed.

So she went out, wanting to explore the city at night even if it was by herself. She got in a bit of trouble with some locals and ended using White Noise to get out of it, which caught someone's attention. That was when Dio approached her and, after he tried to convince Lia to follow willingly (which ended on her attacking him), Dio planted a fleshbud on her brain.

She didn't have a big rol as agent, just went out to cover any mission that was put on her.

8.) Does your OC survive the part? If so, what do they do afterwards? Do they reappear at all? If they don’t survive, where and how does their story end?

She does! It all depends if we're talking about her main story or the Au, but in both she ends up in Morioh as a language teacher.
