In His Arms

It's been a week since the last time Kaito saw the detective and much to his surprise, he didn't mind at all. He doesn't have the usual urge he gets back when they started dating to bother Shinichi with every chances he gets. We all could say he matured (a little) and knows not to stick himself too much around his Metantei, specially now that his been busy with cases here and there.

Now that he thinks about it, it's always him who goes to Shinichi and now that he, too, has been busy with his magic shows, he completely forgot to go and pay the detective a visit. They've been dating for three years now but they still haven't move in together. It was a mutual agreement so he really doesn't have anything to complain. And the fact that he still does sneaks into his house sometimes doesn't really feel like living away from him.

Kaito smirk as he finally decided to go visit his lover when suddenly, he hears a message notification from his phone.

Moving his gaze away from the deck of cards his been shuffling, he looks at his phone on the table and saw a familiar name on the screen.

"Speak of an adorable devil~"

Kaito grabs his phone to read the message but was immediately alerted after doing so.

'Can you come over please?'

Kaito is currently standing in front of the Kudo Manor trying to call Shinichi's phone but to no avail, he wouldn't answer. He did tried texting back and knowing that he still reads them shows that his fine in a way that's not life threatening. Still, Kaito is still worried.

"Did something happened?"

Not wasting another second, he went inside and straight to Shinichi's room to find a trail of the detective's clothes leading from the staircase to the hallway of his room.

Anyone will think that something is going on in that room right now, but Kaito knows his Metantei too well. He's more worried for the real reason why he may or may not be naked inside his room and asking him to come over.

Being extra careful, he finally knock on the door and softly called out his lover's name.

"Shinichi? I'm here now so can I come in? Or do you need more time before you want me inside?" Kaito said being careful with his words. This is really out of character for him knowing how he usually behaves but he really change after falling for Shinichi. Or we can say that he's only like this towards the detective.

After a few seconds went by, Kaito hears the door slowly creaked opened to reveal his lover standing before him.

Kaito's eyes soften when he sees the familiar appearance of his lover before him. Wrap in his white blanket, Shinichi is standing with a tousled hair, eyes slightly red from crying and those eyes that's calling for him.

Before another set of tears leave those azure eyes from the overwhelming feeling of seeing his lover for the first time in awhile, Kaito quickly move and carried him in his arms.

"Shh, I'm here now. I'm here so let's make you all better alright?" Kaito softly whispered while he sat down on Shinichi's bed with the detective still in his arms holding onto his shirt.

With his head nuzzling comfortably on his chest as he feels the familiar warmth of his magician lover, Shinichi finally settled down.

Kaito should've seen it coming when he hasn't seen his lover for a whole week. This is not the first time it happened after all. His lover having a mental breakdown and being at his most vulnerable moment. Kaito being the one and only exception to seeing him like this.

When he first saw this vulnerable side of his Metantei, he panicked to the point of wanting to call someone for help but as he finally know what Shinichi really wants, he stopped panicking whenever it happened.

Kaito rubbed his Lover's back and placed a soft kiss on his forehead, smiling softly when he sees the sleepy eyes of the detective slowly closing.

It's new for everyone who got used to Shinichi's personality who doesn't seem to fear anything but it's not always like that. As someone who doesn't seem to have any weakness in the eyes of the people around him is how vulnerable he could be behind close doors. Not wanting anyone to see him like this, someone who can actually get mentally tired and drain from dealing with everything and worrying about everyone before himself.

But after Kaito came into his life, he found his Home. A place where he could drop his mask and heal himself in his warmth arms that never fails to melt the cold misery he's trap in.

Before he finally goes to a peaceful slumber, he looked at Kaito and smiles softly.

"Thank you for always coming to the rescue."

Kaito returned the smile and leaned forward to give Shinichi a quick peck on the lips before replying back.

"Anything to make you feel better. And I know I'll get a reward tomorrow like last time so-"

"Yeah, yeah, we'll go to that sweet shop you've been "dying" to go." Shinichi said after a chuckled then nuzzle his head once more on Kaito's chest, letting sleep completely consume him.

"Seriously though, thanks for always being here..."

It came as a small mumble but Kaito clearly heard it which didn't fail to melt his heart seeing his Metantei's sleeping figure in his arms.

Adjusting his position, he finally laid Shinichi down on the bed and unwrapping the blanket to reveal him in only Kaito's button up shirt that's a little to big for his figure.

Kaito,grinned from ear to ear, joined his lover and laid down pulling him in his arms once more, letting sleep take him as well.

"You're amazing in every way but being vulnerable from time to time just proves that you're also a fragile gem and it's alright."

I’m very slow drawer but at least it’s done. X3 I drew Shinichi in last November, background behind Shinichi in January. The roses was drawn in March and Kaito is drawn today.

Memories |Capitulo 1|

—¡Ahí está Kaito kid! no dejen que escape! —se escuchaba el tan animado inspector Nakamori como siempre, intentando atrapar al tan famoso ladrón, sin embargo, debería decirle adiós ya que esta sería la última vez que robaría algo.

Subió rápidamente hacia la azotea del edificio encontrándose con el tan famoso detective del este, Shinichi Kudo.

—Al parecer has conseguido robar otra más—comento Kudo mientras le dedicaba una sonrisa y extendía la mano con una joya en ella.

—Si, es una pena que tengamos que remplazarla

Kaito se acercó de a rápido a Shinichi, tomo la joya falsa que había pedido y abrazo fuertemente al detective feliz de su logro, levanto la joya hacia la luna, mientras una joya roja se reflejaba dentro del zafiro recién robado.

--lo conseguimos. —Shinichi se maravilló de solo escuchar finalmente esas palabras por parte de Kaito, estaba tan feliz por él, se acercaron mientras se miraban a los ojos con amor, como se miraban desde hace 4 años, tiempo que le costó conseguir a pandora, se volvieron cómplices de algo que parecía un crimen, pero en realidad intentaban destruirlo por el bien de la humanidad.

Cuando estaban a punto de romper la distancia que había entre ellos una voz conocida, pero para nada agradable les interrumpió en el momento crucial.

—Shinichi Kudo el grandioso detective y el famoso Kaito Kid vaya sorpresa que me he llevado—manifestó de forma burlona el hombre que tantos problemas ya le había causado a Kaito Kid el tan llamado Snake y su compañero Spider, ellos habían sido los únicos hombres que no habían sido capturados aún.

Kaito activo el ala delta para así lograr escapar mientras tomaba a Shinichi de la mano, pero Snake termino rompiéndola de un balazo, eso le había dejado sin opciones, tendría que pensar en una manera de huir de ese lugar con Shinichi, si fuera el solo lo haría de alguna manera más sencilla, pero en este caso no solo se estaba jugando su propia vida si no también la de su actual novio,

 Snake solo reía al ver la cara de desesperación que tenía Kaito

—Te dije que no te entrometieras en nuestro camino, sabes que el precio a pagar es caro.

Mientras Kaito estaba prestando toda su atención a Snake no se dio cuenta de su acompañante spider quien sacó una pistola, ahora mismo estaba apuntándoles con toda la disposición de dispararle y a pesar de que Kaito no se dio cuenta de este hecho alguien más si lo hizo.

—¡Kaito cuidado!

El joven mago tuvo muy poco tiempo para reaccionar pero al final dos detonaciones se escucharon, estaban dirigidas a él, la sangre caía al suelo y a pesar de haber apuntado a Kid la sangre no le pertenecía, le pertenecía al chico detective que detuvo los impactos con su cuerpo mientras sonreía aliviado mientras se dejaba caer al suelo, o eso parecía pues Kaito lo cogió en brazos antes de que su cuerpo pudiera caer, en cuanto giro su mirada hacia Snake y Spider estos ya no estaban, habían desaparecido en la oscuridad de la noche y ahora perseguirlos no era su prioridad, lo era Shinichi quien estaba perdiendo mucha sangre , sin embargo en ningún momento perdía la sonrisa o la calma en su rostro, parecía el verdadero dueño de la Poker Face, mientras que Kaito desesperado intentaba que dejara de sangrar, presionando en el lugar del balazo, Shinichi lo detuvo, no quería que Kaito siguiera presionando en ese lugar, sabía que estaba en mucho peligro entonces Kaito llamo a la ambulancia, pero Shinichi sabía que ellos no llegarían a tiempo, estaba totalmente convencido, claro después de todo ya sabía que tenía un pulmón perforado, no duraría mucho tiempo más.

—Kaito tienes que ser fuerte—le pidió Shinichi para que Kaito lograra pensar con claridad, ser objetivo ante la situación.

—No digas eso, no digas cosas que parezcan una despedida—miro a Shinichi a los ojos, esto hizo que algo en el corazón de Kaito saltara, aunque esta vez no fue de felicidad como cuando había encontrado a Shinichi hasta hace un momento—Shinichi, te amo, no puedo perderte—era obvio, aun con unas simples palabras de Shinichi no conseguiría que su preocupación y sus nervios se fueran, lo abrazo con algo de fuerza.

Shinichi volvió a sonreír mientras se acercaba a Kaito, sus alientos se cruzaban, Kaito acortaba aún más la distancia que había entre los dos mientras Shinichi acariciaba la mejilla de Kaito con su mano ensangrentada. —Te amo Kaito, te amo tanto.

Ambos cortaron la distancia que les separaba y se juntaron en un beso lleno de sentimientos amor y a la vez preocupación hasta que uno de ellos, el joven detective dejo de respirar.

Kaito se dio cuenta de este hecho porque Shinichi dejo de acariciar su mejilla, su mano cayo sin fuerza y sus respiraciones ya no chocaban, Shinichi murió besando a la persona que amaba pero con lágrimas contenidas en sus ojos.

El día del funeral del detective había llegado, todas las personas cercanas o que alguna vez llegaron a convivir con el estaban en el lugar donde yacía Shinichi Kudo dentro de un ataúd, bien vestido, bien maquillado, cada persona paso a despedirse del joven detective de 21 años, si, ya no era un niño adolescente de secundaria, ahora estudiaba criminología en la universidad junto con Kaito Kuroba, su novio desde hace 4 años y el detective del oeste Hattori Heiji.

Cada uno se despidió, desde la policía, sus amigos cercanos y algunos más que llegaron a conocerle, el último en pasar fue Kaito quien parecía fuerte ante la situación, pasando de su impecable traje blanco de Kaito Kid a un triste y miserable traje negro que no quedaba nada con él.

Miro a Shinichi abatido, a pesar de que le había sostenido en sus brazos cuando el detective perdió la vida, no se acostumbraba a verlo dentro de un ataúd, estaba a punto de llorar por la pérdida más grande de su vida pero fue interrumpido cuando sintió una mano en su hombro, se secó las lágrimas y se giró para ver de quien se trataba, era Yukiko Kudo, la madre de Shinichi quien no lucia tan afectada con la muerte de su propio hijo, junto con ella se encontraba la propia madre de Kaito quien le sonrió con tristeza y el padre de Shinichi el tan mundialmente conocido escritor de novelas Yusaku Kudo.

La mujer actriz le sonrió a Kaito con algo de tristeza

—¿Estás bien?—fue lo primero que pregunto al ver a Kaito, no sabía que fue lo que logro ver en el como para que la mujer le preguntara eso, era obvio que no se encontraba de la mejor manera, es decir su pareja a quien le iba a proponer matrimonio la misma noche que consiguieran a pandora termino muriendo por mano de los hombres de negro que le estaban persiguiendo a él, Shinichi no tenía nada que ver.

No es justo, Shinichi murió y ahora mismo no es justo que su madre le esté preguntando si se encuentra bien, es obvio que no se encuentra bien.

--No debería preocuparse por mi señora Kudo, me encuentro mejor, muchas gracias por preguntar.

la madre de Shinichi junto a su marido camino hacia donde se encontraba Shinichi descansando, pero el verlo recostado en el ataúd, su cuerpo sin vida y que pronto seria enterrado les pudo y la madre de Shinichi comenzó a llorar como loca y su marido también lo hacía aun que de una manera más silenciosa.

Chikage abrazo a Kaito con fuerza, sabía todo lo ocurrido, y estaba segura de que su hijo tenía una carga realmente pesada en sus hombros.

Pero Kaito, en ningún momento de la velada fue capaz de derramar ni una sola lagrima y no por que fuera insensible, simplemente no podía y no tenía una explicación para eso.

Shinichi ya se encontraba bajo tierra mientras todos los presentes o al menos la mayoría no eran capaces de contener sus ganas de llorar por el joven detective del este sin embargo la despedida no podía durar para siempre así que cada persona comenzó a irse hasta que solo quedaron los padres de Shinichi, Ran y sus padres junto con Sonoko, Hattori y Kazuha junto con Kaito que seguía sin dirigirle ninguna palabra a nadie, Ran como si nada se acercó al mago, nadie se imaginaria que la chica le soltaría una tremenda bofetada tan fuerte que le dejaría la mejilla roja al instante.

Ella le miraba con rabia en sus ojos al mismo tiempo que lagrimas que se deslizaban por sus mejillas

—Todo es tu culpa ¡Por culpa tuya Shinichi está muerto! —todos la miraron extrañados y también miraron a Kaito quien parecía estar analizando algo estaba intentando procesar el hecho de que no volvería a ver a Shinichi, de que no estaría ahí para sonreírle, besarlo, acariciarlo y apoyarle como siempre lo hacia

Quería llorar, pero no podía, no es que no quería es que había algo que se lo impedía, en cuanto escucho a Ran decirle esas palabras un nudo en su garganta se formó, pero no era capaz de articular una palabra y mucho menos de llorar frente a todos, cuando estaba dispuesto a alzar su mirada Ran le propino una segunda bofetada que fue incluso más fuerte que la anterior.

— Todo por involucrarlo en tus malas jugadas, todo por buscar esa maldita joya ¡Es tu culpa que Shinichi esté muerto!

Kaito se tocó la mejilla que había sido afectada dos veces mientras los pocos que aún estaban presentes intentaban calmar a Ran, Kaito no se había planteado lo que Ran le dijo, se preguntó a si mismo internamente "¿realmente es mi culpa?" y así como el mismo se preguntó, se respondió "lo es"

Quería llorar nuevamente, pero no lo hizo, no quería que malinterpretaran sus lágrimas, se sentía culpable, Ran tenía razón, fue su culpa el mismo fue la perdición de Shinichi, comenzó a reír por lo bajo, pero Ran logro escucharlo y comenzó a forcejear nuevamente.

—¿¡Qué diablos te parece tan gracioso?!—Ran estaba furiosa, su mejor amigo había muerto por su novio y encima este se reía.

Kaito tenía la mirada baja hasta que la levanto y sonrió, no sabe exactamente qué clase de expresión puso que incluso Ran parecía retractarse de sus palabras.

—Me parece tan gracioso que lo que estás diciendo es verdad, yo soy el culpable, no debí entrar en la vida de Shinichi y...—Kaito comenzó a caminar hacia atrás ya que planeaba irse del lugar—descuiden yo...saldré de sus vidas

Entonces cuando estaba a punto de ser detenido por Kogoro, el mago salió corriendo del lugar, no sabe lo que paso con Ran pero esperaba que no le hubiera ocasionado problemas, corrió hasta su casa o más bien al apartamento que había rentado cerca de la casa de Shinichi para poder verlo más seguido, de solo pensar en eso un nudo en su garganta se volvió a formar mientras que su frente estaba llena de sudor y su respiración era agitada, pero intento clamarse, en el momento en que entro a su apartamento su madre lo llamo sin muchas ganas de siquiera hablar con alguien al final decidido responder a la llamada, no con los mismos ánimos de siempre obviamente, no solo porque Shinichi estaba muerto (que es su peor dolor) si no que Ran e incluso el mismo creían que fue su culpa

Entablo una larga conversación con su madre esperando a que en algún momento ella decidiera hartarse de su comportamiento y finalizar la llamada o como mínimo reprocharle por ello, pero no fue ninguna de las dos, su madre comenzó a llorar, cosa que no era muy común.

—¿Estas bien? —Le pregunto su madre seguramente aun con las lágrimas en sus ojos.

No es justo, pensó nuevamente Kaito, no puedo mostrarme débil ante ella, no quiero mostrarme débil ante ella, no sabía qué hacer, ¿tan mal se escuchaba como para que su madre le preguntara eso?

No sabía cómo afrontar la situación así que con algo de duda y dolor le dijo.

—Lo siento debo colgar

Fue lo último que dijo antes de terminar su llamada y arrojarse a la cama donde casi en un momento se había quedado dormido.

Love Return (Afterstory of Precious Gift)

Kaito have thought that he will be able to obtained the jewel before the year ends the moment he inherited the 'family business' and finally avenged his father who was the first magician under the moonlight, Kaitou Kid. But, who would've thought that two years has went by and he's still on the search for the jewel named 'Pandora'? Moreover, his supposed to be relationship with Aoko ended long ago when the guilt he tried so hard to hide in his heart slowly swallowed him whole. 

The moment Aoko confessed her feelings for him, Kaito was overyjoyed, happy that finally, the girl he has been secretly loving has love him back however... the feeling of guilt prevented him from accepting her feelings and the possible danger he might put her in, which is why he lied. A lied that made her shed tears and run away, leaving him in tears as well without the girl he had love knowing. But you know what he didn't regret? Kaito didn't regret opening his heart once more, to someone who unexpectedly made their way into his broken heart and healing it. 

"Edogawa Conan, Tantei sa. (a detective.)"

A love that secretly planted itself in his heart the moment he met a hinder in his heist, a hinder that soon brought thrill, joy, and a helping hand the longer he encounters the tiny detective... who wasn't just any mere child after discovering the surprising truth.

Kaito was both amused and curious upon discovering the supposed to be 7 years old kid was actually a 17 years old high school detective. Kudo Shinichi, a high school detective of the East attending Teitan High. Without knowing, he started to became attached to the detective, sharing bittersweet memories, life threatening ones, and soon, he finally understood the unknown feeling he has towards the tiny detective. 

Standing atop a skyscraper with the stolen jewel in hand, Kid looked down and sees the detective in his skateboard, hurrying to go back home with the gift in hand. Kid smiled upon seeing this as he looked up at the bright full moon. To think he, a phantom thief, will do such a dangerous thing and risked his life in order to obtained a drug that will helped a detective. Has the world gone mad? No, only his love towards his Metantei has caused him to do such a thing. Shinichi was the reason after all, the reason why he still has the willpower to continue his mission in search for a jewel that doesn't seem to exist and...

A few weeks flew by and finally, Kaito's birthday came. Usually, he would enjoy the attention he's getting from everyone where he receives all sort of birthday presents and greetings however this year, he doesn't feel like celebrating it. The feeling of emptiness seems to continue existing in his chest, which he doesn't know when and why it existed. Maybe when his precious Metantei stopped appearing when he holds a heist? He doesn't know but what he knows is that, he wishes to see his detective once more, because during tonight's heist-

"It'll be the last."

"I see you finally found the jewel that you seek."

Hearing this, Kaito turned around to see Akako sitting down on one of the table with her arm crossed and leg resting atop the other with a smile on her face. It's a good thing that class is over and it's only the two of them still present in the room. No matter how many times he tries to convince her, she stills undoubtedly thinks he's Kaitou Kid, which she's right but still won't dare reveal himself. Kaito will only reveal himself to one person, and that person is currently nowhere to be seen causing the magician to frowned and turned away. 

Ignoring her words, he grabbed his bag and another one filled with presents he got from the class and was about to leave when Akako spoke once more, causing him to stopped on his tracks when he hears a familiar word.

"Then I presume you wouldn't want to know what The Demon of Light is up to?"

"Metantei?"

"... I'm just a normal University student, Akako. Whatever the Great Detective of the East does isn't my business."

Lies. Kaito has been itching to know how Shinichi has been for the passed few weeks of not seeing him. Did he finally made an antidote? Did he succeeded in returning back to his body? Will he... will he see him again? A lot of questions has been running in his mind that he sometimes has a hard time falling asleep at night. Who wouldn't when the person that you love dearly keeps on invading your mind? While distracted, Akako placed a hand on his shoulder which the magician only noticed when she spoke one last time before leaving him be with his thoughts and the surprising words she left.

"The Demon of Light that you hold dearly will appear tonight. This information is the only present I will be giving you, Kuroba-kun."

The moment Akako said those words, the hole in his chest disappeared in an instant by the thought of seeing his Metantei once again. He should be focusing on the heist that will start in about a minute but his mind keeps on wandering to the detective. How will the heist go now that the Great Detective is back to his body? Will it be the same as before or will the appearance of the famous detective who hadn't shown himself in the face of the media prevent him from getting the jewel? Either way, the thrill and adrenaline he's currently feeling still remains. 

With a wide grinned on his face, the countdown begins. 

"San. Ni. Ichi!!!"

Once the clock hits 9 o'clock, the Museum was suddenly covered with smoke with the Task Force already expecting it where they came prepared as they wore a smoke mask, not knowing the filter has been removed giving the smoke an entryway knocking every Task Force unconscious. As much as Kid wants to enjoy his final heist, it's finally the jewel he's been looking for so there's no time to have fun. As well as the reason that both the Organization has already heard of the jewel being possibly Pandora and his dear Metantei presence in the building. 

After making sure everyone is asleep, he turned around to go and grabbed the jewel but was stopped by hearing a gunshot being fired to his direction. Knowing that Nakamori-keibu and his Task Force wouldn't dare fire a gun at him, he knew who the person responsible for this as he raised both hands up above his head. Thankfully, the bullet missed him but still left a hole on his white cape. 

"To think you'll make things easier by knocking the annoying police for us. Now, step away from the jewel, Kaitou Kid."

Kid didn't move an inch after hearing Snake's instruction. Does he really think he'll surrender the jewel that quickly by firing a gun at him? He's willing to leave this place half dead if he has to so no threat will make him-

"Or do you prefer to see your favorite detective drop dead to the ground?"

Kid's mind went blank the moment he heard a muffled whimper from behind him, causing the phantom thief to quickly turned around and quickly let out a groaned when a bullet grazes his shoulder. Right in front of his eyes is a kid that's around Conan's age, head covered with burlap sack preventing him from getting a better look of the kid. So his Metantei failed to make an antidote? Is the reason why he stopped appearing whenever he holds a heist was because he was held hostage by the Organization?

This thought infuriated the Phantom Thief causing the men in black to laughed seeing how they finally have something that is a weakness against the magician. No mask can ever covered the anger Kid is feeling and before he could make any rash decisions, he heard his voice. 

"What do you think are you doing acting all defenseless like that? Kid."

The wrath Kid was feeling disappeared into thin air and was replaced with the familiar feeling of excitement he always seem to feel whenever he's together with him. Turning around while holding his injured shoulder, his eyes met the ocean blue eyes he always adores and returning the sly smile on the detective face with a grinned. He successfully got his body back huh? 

Snake and the rest was taken aback with the sudden appearance of the detective of the East but wasn't that fazed as they all pointed their guns at the two, having the feeling that they are the ones in control of the situation without knowing the Museum being surrounded by the police. The moment he heard a go signal in the earpiece Shinichi is wearing, he pulled Kid behind him upon hearing a loud bang behind the men in black, succeeding with distracting them as he kicked the smoke mask on the floor aiming it towards Snake's face. After Snake let out a loud groaned and letting go of the gun, the police quickly stormed in and surrounded the rest of Snake's men with the kid safely recovered and in Takagi's hands. 

Shinichi let out a sighed of relief as he turned his gazed to Kid who's still stunned with everything that is happening before his eyes with mouth slightly parted. The detective only smiled at him while suggesting that they should talk elsewhere. Before Kid could protest and tried reaching for the jewel, his Metantei quickly pulled him away from the crowd and lead him up to the rooftop of the building. 

Kid couldn't do anything and followed the detective as they climb up the flight of stairs. While staring at Shinichi's back, Kid couldn't control his emotions as he pulled the detective in his arms from behind, not giving him the chance to swung the open door to the rooftop as they stopped on their track. He could just steal the jewel again some other time but right now, he doesn't have any plan on letting go his Metantei who might disappear if he takes his eyes off him for a second. 

When has it come to this? To think that he couldn't bear to no longer see Shinichi after constantly waiting for only a few weeks. Just the thought of waiting for him once more makes his heart ache. When did he became this vulnerable when it comes to the detective? Has he always love him this much? He doesn't know and he doesn't care anymore as long as he's with the detective that he holds dearly.

Shinichi wasn't any different from the magician embracing him from behind. The loud thumping on his chest when he thought he was already too late upon hearing a gunshot, the fast beating of his heart when finally seeing Kid for the first time in awhile, and... the feeling of passion and affection the phantom thief is currently showing him. He didn't made the wrong decision after all. Loving this idiot yet gentle magician was all worth it, and... 

He's finally giving him his gift.

Shinichi placed a hand on Kid's arm asking him to be let go for a second which the the phantom thief reluctantly did, stepping a few steps away from him, he started talking.

"Remember what you said during that night? That, you might consider offering yourself instead as a present? Well, what will the famous Phantom Thief do if I steal that idea of yours, offering this Great Detective to you as a gift for this special occasion?"

With a wide grinned on Shinichi's face yet still not being able to hide the flustered expression he has, he slowly took out something from his pocket and placed it on the magician's hand. Kid couldn't helped but let his mask dissolved as it finally shows the expression and emotion that tells how overjoyed and delighted he is with hearing the detective's words. Uncovering his hand, a simple small red box revealed itself on his palm, snickering with how the detective is copying the way he handed him his gift except for the kneeling part. 

"Happy Birthday, Kid."

"I don't think that whatever is inside this box can be compared to how much I want you to be mine."

"Oh believe me, you will be elated to see what's inside the box."

With a look of doubt on his face, he still opened the box and was greatly surprised to see the exact same jewel he saw earlier placed neatly inside, with a note attached to the lid part causing Kid's heart to flutter and tear up from this surprised present.

Pandora.

(I, too, no longer what to see my dear magician suffering. )

As the tears finally stream down his face, the door swung open as the strong night breeze comes in and the bright moonlight shining behind his Metantei who's smiling brightly at him. Kid couldn't helped but smiled back despite the tears in his eyes as he finally removed the monocle and the top hat off, indicating that Kaitou Kid's time has finally ended. 

"You kept your words huh? Metantei."

"Didn't I told you? I will capture you before this year ends. Now, accept your fate Kuroba Kaito-kun."

He even already knows who he was? He is truly the great detective and will always be his Metantei. Kaito wiped his tears off and finally embraced Shinichi once more as he drops his monocle and top hat to the ground, saying one last thing that made Shinichi broke into a smile before returning back the kiss of passion the magician has given him. 

"Well then, please take care of me from now on, Shinichi."

"I'm your problem now and you're mine."
