Inuyasha AU where Kagome is an over-caffeinated college student when she gets dragged down into the Feudal Era. Everything is mostly the same, except now she's like twenty times more reckless (still incredibly kind, though, just more chaotic while doing it) and even more pulled apart by her duties (friendships, school/career, the whole mess in the Feudal Era).

She just rocks up to every demon like:

"I haven't slept in three days, I'm running on two Red Bulls and spite, I have a paper due in two hours, and I fear not the laws of God nor man. You wanna hurt me? Better make it count. Better kill me in one shot."

Inuyasha is, conversely, even more annoyed by her, and a little terrified. And maybe a little more in love that he admits he is.
