It pulls itself along the ground, its mouth unnaturally wide, teeth the color of rotted parchment. He was frozen in fear, and the closer it got the louder the sound it made, the louder its gross giggle, and the louder its cry.

“Kageraito…Kageraito…”

It muttered like a deranged baby, in a tone of voice suggesting it knew something you didn’t

It was close enough to strike, but it didn’t. It stood up, using its massive tail as a balance. Though he couldn’t tell where its body ended and tail started. It was close enough to smell its awful breath, and to hear it scream.
