Hey :)

Hey! My name is Evi and I am new this this lovely world that’s called studyblr. I am in 11th grade. A while ago I came across this amazing world because I felt very productive so I wanted to make my notes prettier. But now I know that studyblr is so much more than that. It’s one of the most lovely places on the internet. I want to create this studyblr to keep my focused and express my creativity.

My favorite subjects are English and Geography                                           

I’m really bad in Math and Economy. I also really hate Art History but that is more because of my teacher then of the subject itself.

hi hello! i'm a little sad that berkeley wait-listed me, but i'm still hopeful and if not, i'm excited for ucla! how are you doing, btw?

hi nhi! aww that’s okay!! i was wait-listed too, back when i found out my results (i can’t believe that was 3 years ago, asdfghjkl). hang in there and keep your fingers crossed! you got this!! ucla is a great school as well :’)

i’m doing alright! today was a pretty productive day. i finished a very long counterpoint assignment, worked on my music analysis paper, practiced violin and piano, and posted a new short cover. i still have a few more things to do before spring break is over, so i hope i can get them all done soon!

1. Which BTS song means the most to you?

Ohh... that’s a difficult choice to make. It has to be Danger or I Need You  because both songs brought me to liking BTS.

2. How do you feel about astrology?

Truthfully speaking, it sounds hella truthful, but that’s also the confirmation bias working. I still read up on my horoscope all the time, LOL.

3. Do you think ghosts exist?

If I say yes, it means that I give it power over me. :o (I’d like to be a “believe when i see it” person)

4. What’s your favourite instrument?

I’m half partial to the violin, just because I play it. But, I have fallen in love with piano and the cello over the years.

5. Who was the last person to make you really smile?

Myself. Honestly, the stupid shit I do everyday is enough to make me laugh and smile (mostly in disbelief, but it’s still a real smile). Other than me though, my friends and family. They can always make me smile.

6. What do you do when you feel vulnerable?

Watch youtube or take a nap. Just anything that takes me away from reality for a while.

7. What is the last dream you had?

Uh. I had a dream where I had to like choose between two guys? Felt like the plot of every young adult novel, tbh, but the guys were hella cute apparently, even though I couldn’t see their faces.

8. Are you a nature person?

Well, I’m not the person to go into a forest and like camp for a week. But, I love, love, love beaches. (that’s the Californian in me) I also love going anywhere that makes it easier for me to see the stars.

9. What’s your favourite thing to do to relieve stress?

Write. Sing. Go on youtube. (oh, it asked for one thing? Well, this is truthfully how i relieve stress. By saying and writing whatever comes to mind, lol)

Ooooo, another difficult question. BOTH.

12. What do you want out of 2018?

I want 2018 to be soft and good for all my friends and family. It’s also the year I am starting college, so I want it to be the best it can be.

Nah, I’m too tired to hold grudges.

14. Who is your favourite Disney hero/heroine?

Mulan!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would die for her.

15. Do you consider yourself a positive person?

Maybe? I’m like half and half.

16. What is something you love that’s underrated?

Well, this used to be underrated until it became popular: Gintama. But there is another manga series called Robot x Laserbeam that I am currently loving.

17. What is your dream job?

I wanna work in a lab. That’s all I wanna do. Just research and have fun.

18. If you could live anywhere in the world, where?

I love California. I really do. But if I had to choose, I’d say New York.

19. When was the last time you faced a fear and how did it go?

I have a fear of public speaking. Did a speech and got a hella good grade for it. I’m about to face that fear again when I do my graduation speech. Here goes nothing.

20. Which would you prefer to read: poetry, fiction, or non-fiction?

Poetry and fiction!

21. Where do you feel most at ease?

At home and the beach.
