It's been more than a year since I have left my hometown and moved to the so-called sunniest city in Germany to attend university and start a new chapter in my life. While I can't say that it's been the easiest journey, it has definitely helped me find out more about myself and the person I want to be. Adulting turns out to be such a struggle and I have found myself crying and down a lot of times this past year. To be completely honest there are times when I feel like such a failure, questioning what I am even doing with my life and the choices I've made so far.

I'm turning 21 today and I hope the new year will bring lots of happiness, self love, passion and excitement for all the things to come. I know something might go wrong on the way but I hope I won't be too hard on myself and start to put myself first once in a while too! Let's learn to love ourselves and be happy :)

windy nights: if you could go to any concert whose would it be?

my chemical romance!! idc they’re no longer together it says any concert and i am bitter that i missed all of theirs in my country (alternatively, for still-currently-active bands: franz ferdinand or arctic monkeys would do just fine, though they’re not mcr)

Uni began just this week here and while it’s weird to be back, it’s also quite nice to get into a routine again! Me and a friend went to enjoy the autumn sun and explore some alleys, bookshops and cute cafés before the uni stress gets too much. It’s crazy what you can find when you don’t stick to your usual routes and busy streets :)

I’m trying to be as productive as possible bc uni as always is kicking my ass and these oral exams will be the death of me (but i am trying my best okay lol) Baked milk tea was the highlight of my day tho and being back home at my parents’ has done wonders for my mental health which is great ♥

It’s been quite some time guys! The new year has started (already a while ago lol) and I hope everyone of you is well and getting closer to your dreams and aspirations! Last year was a ride for me and things haven’t been easy so far but I’m working on it and trying my hardest. Adulting is hard and taking on more responsibilities is quite challenging but it’s part of life and if so many other people were able to do it, why shouldn’t I? Let’s keep working hard and stay true to ourselves ❤

i’m thinking about changing my url...

i’m still not sure about the new url but so far i like ‘promessedelune’ a lot! it’s french and means ‘promise of the moon’ which is beautiful and it reminds me of Howl’s Moving Castle since its ending song is called ‘Promise of the World’. It has been my favorite movie since i was little and i just put a little spin on it and changed ‘world’ with ‘moon’ :) Thoughts?
