Kadir Saar when he was 30 - Aliyah Adaar (daughter) aged 34.

Aliyah looks a lot more like her mother, Nieva, than she does her father. She does have her fathers pouty lips and green eyes, perhaps his chin but that's where the facial similarities end.

Instead, she's definitely inherited his love of nature, his love of cooking and baking and tea. Aliyah is sarcastic as hell (another trait from her father) and laughs easily. She's a skilled puzzle solver and lullaby singer - just as he is.

Kadir Saar

I should introduce you to my beautiful Quanri boi, Kadir Saar ‘Adaar’.

- Adaar is in quotes because his last name isn’t actually Adaar, but it is his daughters last name.

Kadir is young and inexperienced in leadership; he’s only 28 and prior to the Inquisition, spent quite a lot of time doing mercenary work as a swordsman even though he is a mage. He’s proficient with all kinds of magic and meticulous with his studies - every spell or magic book he came across was always hidden away and cherished later. He’s kind and compassionate but not a push over. He knows what he wants, how he wants it and by all that is holy, he will get it. 

He does everything for his daughter; Aliyah Adaar - that’s where the last name comes from. His own name is ‘Kadir Saar’ but for his daughters sake and in honour of the mother of his child, he adopted her last name as his own as well. Aliyah is the result of a one night stand between Kadir and Adaar when they both worked the same job a few years back. He only found out about her during the Conclave and the first thing he did was search for Aliyah afterwards. 

Aliyah is only 2 at the beginning of the Inquisition and without everyone (majorly Varric, Josephine, Vivienne, Iron Bull and Blackwall) he would not be the father he is. He still struggles with everything but he tries so hard; he wants to give his daughter the best childhood and care that he can in the middle of a war.

Kadir is also my rare straight male but in all honestly, he’s probably bi as fuck because I can’t not project.

...So I restarted another playthru for DAI and ofc had to create an Adaar OC which led me to create Aliyah Adaar; Kadir Saar's daughter.

In Kadir's Worldstate Aliyah is a little baby 2 year old so in Aliyah's canon things are a little different - I'm thinking perhaps her Ma (Adaar) died a little later, perhaps when she was around 6-7 and so little Aliyah with her small bow and arrow is kind of taken in and taken under wing of Shokrakar and then when she's old enough, is told all about her Ma and Pap (Kadir Saar) which is when she goes out looking for him.

At that point (old enough to know, probably 19? And when she goes looking for him it's more than a few years later, she's probably 27 when she actively starts searching for her Pap).
