It’s been over six years since I started roleplaying on Tumblr. It has had its ups and downs, but my god, I would never change a thing. I’ve made new friends, had my heart broken by the same friends, and made...even more new friends! Honestly, I have new people I call my family that I have made on this hellscape of a website. 

Lately I’ve been thinking about that, and I wanted to make a shoutout to the people that make this fucking horrible website worth being on!

My dearest Koala. We met because of...chance. I’m still astounded that the planets aligned this way, and forever grateful. You are my best friend in the entire world. My maid of honor. My best girl, my partner in crime, my keeper, my sister, my soulmate. What would I do without you? 

You see me through everything. You are the reason I even have @tinymute​. Absurd, right? I don’t know if I’d be alive some days without this girl. You are my world, and I’d honestly die for you. Please never doubt my love for you.

Goob is basically my fucking nephew at this point, and I’d stab a man for you. You are so talented and wonderful. Your interest in my garbage OCs astounds me. The stories we write together never fail to enamor me. 

Your strength, your compassion, your absolute innate ability to be such a good friend never fail to astound me. You have so much shit going on in your life, yet you make time and space in your heart for others. Please never doubt how much of an impact you’ve had on my life.

I’m crying. There have been actual tears shed. I am so goddamn glad I met you. I almost gave up on RP on tumblr before you came into my life. I was ready to just leave it behind, save for maybe roleplaying with Koala. Then you came. Your muses are all so fucking inspired and wonderful.

Mahia became like a second home for my muses. The rest of your muses became the same. I felt comfortable and inspired writing with you. I still do. When all else fails, I know I can write with you. You don’t judge me. You don’t demand responses in a certain period of time. You let me choose which muses I have muse to write against. You make me cry with your angst and giggle with your lighthearted nonsense.

Your writing is so fucking inspired and deeply cared for. It SHOWS in every fucking post, and my god, if I had half your talent...

Out of character, we clicked. I grew close to a beautiful lady who goes through a lot of shit OOC and yet is still the biggest ray of sunshine I’ve ever met in my entire fucking life. You deserve the world. Please never, ever let anyone take that spark from you.

They had started in a dirty apartment filled with the stench of booze, her blood on his bathroom counter, and a thousand regrets. Many would not speak to each other after that moment, nonetheless gone down the path they had found. It was anything but easy, pulling harder and harder on their patience and will until she was sure either of them would snap.

They had seen the other break down entirely, to cease understanding how to function as a human being and just snap, like a wild, scared animal in a strange place. On the other end, they had seen each other smile, made each other laugh until they forgot what sorrow was.

In between these moments were the quiet times, mid-afternoon naps and pacing the house with a tiny Hope on either one of their hips.

Time pushed them towards each other, refusing to let either really let go. 

She had been just as surprised during their first kiss as she had been when he presented that ring. Juliette dreamed of a wedding, but she never expected one. Not with a man who had lost so much. Could he really commit?

He could. He did.

A beautiful night had gone so quickly. With a sizable flower crown on her head in lieu of a veil and a beautiful gown that shimmered in a soft rainbow when she moved, Juliette looked more like the fairy she had been dressed as the night they met than a proper bride.

Then, it was better that way. She was happy, filled with colors and light, dancing barefoot and giggling as the beat of an Irish song played in the background.

The entire night was filled with energy and love, two families coming together and making a whole. 

As it wound down, she found herself just staring at Joel, her heart full and her stomach dancing with butterflies. She smiled crookedly as he looked to her.

“If we have each other, then it will be.”

Juliette reached and squeezed his hand, staring out at the night sky. As long as those stars stayed above her, she believed anything was possible.

Juliette sat, clearly guilty in the large, long sleeved shirt that hung past her knees. Her hands were barely visible, even after she had rolled the sleeves up multiple times. Still, she just grinned as if she had done no wrong, sitting pretty on the kitchen counter.

“I do not know, my love. Did you steal my socks again? They were suspiciously loose. I did not know socks can change in size from ankle to knee high in just one wash!”

She loved him, but if he wanted to call her out for clothes snatching, he had another thing coming to him.

He had done it again. Juliette was unsure if this was malice, or just a very tall man forgetting that he was cohabiting with a very tiny woman. Either way, he had put her favorite mug on the highest shelf after helping her with dishes. 

She stared at the mug, perched so clean and pretty on a shelf that she was sure harbored the likes of demons and other creatures, mainly because she never actually used it.

The first few offenses were harmless, especially with cereal boxes that she could knock over with a broom, but this was her favorite mug, and she was tired. 

What was he, a bumbling giant with no actual spacial awareness?!

Juliette grabbed Joel by the sleeve of his shirt, yanking hard until she got his attention. She pointed, her eyes narrowed, at the mug, then raised her eyebrows expectantly at him.

Tired and annoyed, her sign language tirade began.

“Joel. I am a few months away from being able to share clothes with your daughter. The other day, I got ID’d to see a PG-13 movie. I cannot reach the tomato sauce on the top shelf at the grocery store! Why do you insist on putting things where even you have to reach your eight foot arm up to get?!”

She pouted a little, then huffed, climbing up onto the counter in what was going to clearly be an attempt to climb the cupboard and get that mug.
