when i first started creating things, other people werent in the picture i just wanted to entertain myself from a lack of content but now that ive made it and published it, i feel like i regret a lot of things but its not the content itself i regret the decision of sharing it

i do appreciate the connections ive made along the way but anything i create now suddenly feel performative, maybe due to there being an audience now? because other than that nothing really changed i still make them out of my thoughts to entertain myself but at the same time, seeing people having thoughts, perceiving it, making things out of it, there's a mixed feeling between "happy to share" but also "i shouldve kept it to myself"

it makes me think twice before creating content again "do i want people to think about this, perceiving this, and possibly creating something from it?" at some point its just not me anymore i have to put others in the formula and even if someone says i can just do it for myself, how will i be able to look at the echo chambers i built and say that this is the environment i want to thrive in? TLDR: i just want people to have their own thoughts without my content influencing it
