Steven is mix-handed. He's left-handed but has learned to use his right almost as well as his left.

Raju will drape himself over his partner to rest if they're not tired when he is.

Chain likes to sleep facing out into the room.

99% of the time Zapp sleeps nude.

Steven wants three (3) kids. He would be okay with more but he thinks three is a good number of baby.

Steven's sisters look more like their father. Steven looks more like their mother.

[Pokemon Exist] His Abuela has an Arboliva. She was the one that found Cerezita.

Zapp has a very young half-sibling... He's actually never met them in person. He's nervous about going home and meeting his mother's new fiance, but he sends a few toys home for the holidays.

Zed's antennae are ultra-sensitive feelers. If he were not a civilized fishman, they would be used for hunting prey.

Chain can't pinpoint when exactly she started having feelings for Steven. She really does want to confess to him though.

Leo used to be able to balance on the back of Michella's wheelchair to go zooming with her. He is out of practice but could probably still pull it off.

[Pokemon Exist] Zapp's Delcatty is a spoiled baby because she's pretty much his only connection to his mother. She has an old and faded bandana around her neck, along with her collar since he rarely puts her in the pokeball.

[Pokemon Exist] Raju may not pay attention to the pokemon that follow him around, but he takes care of them when they're injured. And he helped Delcatty get around when Zapp couldn't.

Zapp knows when his mother's wedding is going to be. He's gotten an invitation. He just... doesn't know if he wants to go. He's already been cleared time off if he chooses to, he just has to decide.

[Pokemon Exist] Leo is trying to balance his team by typing, though he's also struggling since his Natu won't evolve and won't leave his side.

[Monster AU] Daniel and Marcus haven't figured out how they're twins and half-siblings. There are possibilities but given that they're a nephil and a cambion, it's uh... a little harder to figure out.

Daniel enjoys watching speedpaints, both digital and traditional mediums.

All of Klaus' siblings speak at least three languages. German and English are the common, the third is up to them.

[Monster AU] Zapp's blood fully awakening would be cripplingly painful. It comes shortly after the events of Calamity Auction. (note that I don't have full details on the arc but know the gist of it)

[Pokemon Exist] K.K.'s husband has both a Drowzee and a Munna to help their sons sleep. He also has an Alcremie that helps him at work. (She loves playing with the boys)

[Pokemon Exist] Cerezita has stolen one of Steven's ties, so he got her a matching bowtie. It makes her very happy.

It's the annual Spotify Wrapped holiday, so here's my results: (it's a semi-long post)

Evidently I really liked Mary On A Cross by Ghost.

For context, 45,740 minutes is roughly 31.763889 days.

I'm almost disappointed in myself that it isn't 500 times. I also only discovered James Marriott's music not to long ago (as in September 29th)

Also, can you tell I was being sad and gay?

What I am proud of is being in the top 0.5% of Ghost's listeners. (Also for context, they have 9.172 million listeners per month.)

I honestly don't really know what this means. It's cool, I guess? It's not wholly incorrect, I have listened to a lot of new artists this year.

I've reached my first "anniversary" on Two Rivers!

It's been less than a week, but I've traveled through a full year with this island, playing a little bit almost every "day." I've gotten very attached, which is good - that was the goal.

In my first "year", I

Completed the intro portion of the game, reaching three stars and bringing K.K. to Two Rivers

Completed the fossil exhibit in the museum (December 17, 2020) and made good progress on all but the art section

Completed Bunny Day (but skipped the other holidays to save some for later)

Terraformed until Two Rivers actually had two rivers that I like the look of, and found a layout for the buildings that works well

Found Marshall and Quinn (two possible Forever Villagers) through my campsite, as well as numerous others who've come and gone

In year two, my goals are to complete the critterpedia and finish upgrading/finally decorate my house!

Idea #20131 Nintendo should but won't implement

A wearable tool that acts as an MP3 player that allows us to listen to K.K. songs on the go as well as hourly tracks of our choosing. It could also feature music from past games like holiday and hourly themes. It would replace whatever hourly music is playing on our island and play the new song, instead of having two songs playing at once.

This is one of the most imaginative children’s novels I’ve read, and the world building is delightful. Tove Jansson rules!

If you’ve ever had the need to see an illustration of a fluffy white dog wearing a black turtleneck and black circular sunglasses, drinking too much at a bar called Bitches Brew where K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing plays live gigs, then this is the comic for you. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Seriously.

WHAT PETE ATE FROM A--Z by Maira Kalman

What Pete Ate follows Pete, a very good dog, but sometimes not so good, as he alphabetically eats his way through a bunch of items he definitely should not be eating. A truly lovely way to learn your alphabet. Maira Kalman is my absolute favorite illustrator, and her line and gouache drawings are whimsical and extremely charming.

CHIRRI & CHIRRA, UNDER THE SEA by Kaya Doi

Chirri and Chirra are riding their bikes when they come to a cave that transports them under the sea! There’s an underwater restaurant where fish drink elaborate drinks while lounging on shell chairs and an underwater theater where sharks play guitars. Honestly, I want to live in this world. Check out the rest of the series for equally sweet adventures.

Thoughts about families...

Zapp and Steven both went through most of their lives without their father. Zapp's walked out on his mother when she got pregnant, and Steven's died when he was young.

Steven's father loved him and his mother. He adored the infant twins. Steven does not remember the full story, as it happened when his age could still be counted on one hand. He only remembers that it was an accident at his factory job.

They moved in with his mother's parents shortly afterward. His mother had to go back to work and his sisters needed someone to take care of them in the meantime.

On the other hand, Zapp did not have a good male role model. He didn't have any. All he knew were strangers and movies. And he didn't really get a chance to see any better. His mother did her best to teach him what a good man is but without examples, it didn't stick very well.

Klaus' family has a few generations that live in or near the estate. His great-grandfather is very likely close to the end of his life, so he has a schedule set aside for going to attend the funeral. A few Reinherz members have moved away but visit fairly often.

The firstborn of each generation is expected to remain in the main manor and handle affairs for the family if the past generations have passed. Sabrina is the first child of his father, who was the first of his grandfather, etcetera.

Sabrina is married, though her husband took the Reinherz name. They have one child.

He has several cousins as well. Though most of his aunts and uncles have moved out of the estate to give their children space. They still visit during holidays or the occasional reunion.

Klaus' grandmother likes to joke that he was a late Christmas gift to his parents. When he was young he used to get a bow stuck on him every year as part of the joke.

Leo and Michella's parents are both alive and well. They have alternating work schedules so one of them can be home in case Michella needs help. She is mostly independent but just in case.

K.K. also grew up with a fairly normal family. Her mother loves visiting the boys for Christmas and birthdays.
