A silent scream builds up in your throat as your hand twists uncomfortably around your home’s doorknob. You sigh shakily, opening the door to an empty room and slam the door. Throwing down your bag on the couch you slump right beside it and close your eyes hoping the headache will go away soon.

When it doesn’t you groan and bury your face in your hand hating how a day is taking a toll on you. Everyone has bad days, it should be normal but you feel like it’s the end of the world. How can you go through life if your stupid self can’t even handle one day?

A click on your front door jolts you back to reality as your head whips around and you lock eyes with your boyfriend. His smiley face instantly drops as he takes in your exasperated state. Quickly setting down whatever he had in his hand he runs towards you and sits beside you.

You gulp trying to reduce the dryness in your throat as you say, “Hi Gyuvin.” He dismisses your words trying to check if you were hurt anywhere because you surely weren’t alright. When his eyes reach yours again you smile a little as he breathes out, “What happened?”

“Nothing, just a bad day,” you say but when he opens his mouth to refute you continue, “Can you just hold me Gyubi, please?” Without a word, Gyuvin pulls you into his arms and holds you tightly. Your breath becomes shakier as you slowly wrap your arms around his.

He places a soft kiss on the top of your head and whispers, “Whenever you want we can talk about it.” You hum lightly as you cuddle up to his arms and say, “It is just, it has been a bad day, and I was just wondering if I can’t handle this, how can I handle my whole life?”

“Firstly, your whole life is a long time, you will learn, we all learn and also, don’t we all have bad days? That doesn’t mean we are worthless, it is just a part of life, love,” Gyuvin says, slowly tracing patterns on your skin as you nod silently, leaning onto his touch.

“You will be okay, we will be okay,” he smiles down at you pressing a kiss to your forehead and you relax knowing he is right. It will get better, and with him you know it will just be all the easier.
