AS CRYBABY enters the light pink bus, the unsettling feeling forming a lump in her throat gathered itself in the pit of her stomach as she glanced at the driver, who smiled at her, the cigarette between his teeth twitching, eyes glinting with what seemed mischievous intent. She decided it was better not to return it as Angelita took her by her wrist, tugging it gently when she noticed Crybaby staring. Another group of students followed behind them, all wearing the same uniform: The girls wearing a pink dress, ruffles encircling their necks and the peculiar design showing off their collarbones with the same clear fabric on their puffy sleeves. A white heart was engraved in the chest part with the words, "K-12" stitched onto it. Ruffles hugged their waists and fell into their skirts. The boys had a white uniform with blue designs; around the collar, on the sleeves and the same white heart as the girls but painted in blue now. They wore blue slacks, garter tight around their waist. Crybaby looked down at her own uniform; she had dyed it purple and stitched flowers into the sleeves. She and Angelita occupied two baby blue seats. The bus made a loud roaring engine as it was switched on, and so the driving began. Crybaby took a look at the sign they had passed that said,

"K-12 SLEEPAWAY SCHOOL"

And with that, the unsettling feeling only grew. The other students screamed in laughter as they all swayed to the sudden movement, Yelling loudly and screeching. Crybaby sighed, staring down. "Feel so sick," she muttered to Angelita. Angelita shook her head. "I can't believe we have to do this." "Do you think we'll make any friends?" "I hope so," Angelita said wistfully. "but at least we have each other." "That's true."

As Crybaby's mind wandered off, she felt the sharp end of a paper plane hit her shoulder. She glanced back, seeing the laughing face of the boy painted in blue. "Seriously...?" she muttered, irritated, leaning down to pick up the paper plane that had ricocheted off her. She opened it up and gave it to Angelita, asking, "What does it say?" Angelita opened up the crumpled baby pink plane, then her face grew weary. She turned from her torso, leaning against the bus seat and yelling, "Real mature!" She handed it to Crybaby, who carefully opened it and read the scribbled pencil writing.

“GAP TOOTHED BITCH” Two boys behind her laughed, "Aw, sad little baby! Go on!" Kelly looked at Crybaby with a mocking sad face, tilting her head and letting her perfect locks fall back. "Does the bunny rabbit need some tissues?"

It melted into a devious grin as her friend in front of her said, "I bet she has some in her bra." they both started giggling, glaring at Crybaby. "It's okay, just ignore them." Angelita said, shaking her head. "Just plastic assholes." Crybaby felt her vision going blurry as tears threatened her eyes. "Crybaby, wah-wah!" the boys behind her mocked. "Wah-wah, crybaby," all eyes were glued to her as they laughed at pointed at her. "Wah-wah! Wah-wah! Wah-wah!" Crybaby covered her face, scared to even dare show the tears spill out. This, Is K-12. "I'm just looking out the window and it's cold outside," The air outside was pushing in through the windows, bringing a cold breeze. "There are two boys yelling behind me, and I'm terrified." Silence was something Crybaby was craving for as she heard echoes of endless chattering. "Counting trees as they pass me by, and I'm trying not to look across the aisle, 'cause Maya's letting Dan put his hand up her skirt, and she's got her hand down his pants." Maya twirled her hair with her unoccupied hand, smirking sweetly at Dan. He said something that was drowned in the yelling of the other students, gazing at Maya with longing.

Kelly and her friend giggled as they saw it from behind, Kelly's red lips pulled in a grin. "I know the driver sees it..." Crybaby nodded her head towards the rear mirror, Angelita catching on and seeing the driver take a glance at the scene from behind. "I know he's peeking, in the rearview mirror."

Crybaby closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, he whites of her pupils had been devoured by a black color. The driver's cigarette fell on his chest, his hands forgetting they were working on the steering wheel as he grunted. The bus swerved violently, the students screaming in joy. "He says nothing. Trying to ignore it," Crybaby couldn't help but let out a burst of laughter at her own actions, Angelita following shortly. It was only brief, though, when Crybaby remembered where she was, who these people were around her.

"It's fucking boring." Crybaby tilted her head, eyeing her surroundings as she faced down, then let a grin adorn her lips. "I'm quietly observing, I'm saying nothing." "No one's watching us, don't give a fuck, Wheels on the bus." The reckless boys with their hair held with gel, stuck up into a weird look suddenly gurgled out, a white bubbling substance foaming at their mouths and dripping down on their uniform. "I'm holding it down, up in the front, Wheels on the bus... Wheels on the bus." One girl yelled at the boys, demanding him to pass the cigarette to her. "Now, I'ma light it up and pass it. Puff puff and pass it, Don't be a dick and babysit, c'mon, just pass it over here!" The two boys gave a glance at each other with a stupid smile as they mocked the girl, smoke curling out of one of their mouths. She looked at them with annoyance, glaring daggers at them.

"Counting cars as they pass me by...." Crybaby tossed a look over her shoulder as she saw something odd unfolding, she muttered, "And I'm trying not to look a row behind me, 'cause Jason's got his ass on the glass." True to her word, the boy indeed did do such disrespectful act. "And I hate him, driver hit a bump pass." Crybaby's eyes turned a swirl of black again as she blinked. Jason yelped out as he fell, bringing louder laughs from his audience. Crybaby's eyes turned normal as she laughed as well, covering her mouth as she took a look at Angelita, who was grinning. "I know the driver sees it I know he's peeking in the rearview mirror He says nothing." The driver looked behind him with a smile at the laughter of the students, shaking his head as if he didn't understand. "Trying to ignore it, it's fucking boring I'm quietly observing, I'm saying nothing..." Another boy inhaled what seemed to be toothpaste, blocking of his other nostril. The boys behind the girl who was yelling for a cigarette earlier were touching her bushy hair without her consent. She whipped her head at them, growling, then turned back as if to consider giving them mercy, "No one's watching us, don't give a fuck Wheels on the bus." The boys continued to harass her, until she had enough, her eyes swirling black, just like Crybaby's.

The boy's grin was wiped off his face as he saw his palms start to inflate like a balloon. The girl howled in laughter at the way he screamed and panicked. Kelly's friend sang, "I'm holding it down up in the front, Wheels on the bus..." and Kelly glared at her, saying something that made her shut up. The girl looked down, upset.

"Wheels on the bus." The boy continued to scream for help as his blue palms turned red, filling up with air. Finally getting the cigarette she had asked for, the girl who had done this blew smoke at the window, smiling in contempt and shrugging her shoulders. "Ooh, ooh, oh, ooh Wheels on the, on the bus Ooh, ha, ooh, oh, ooh, ooh Wheels on the bus..." The bus came to an abrupt stop, bringing Crybaby leaning forward, her elbows on her knees. She leaned in to see what had stopped them, finding a boy...

one that seemed to spark her interest. He entered as the door slid open. In his strong, muscular hold, he had two books in his hands. His eyes seemed to drift, looking for the right seat.

Crybaby put her hands on the seat in front of her, fluttering her eyes gently as she thought she had caught his sight. "No one's watching us..."

Everyone else was silenced as they saw the new boy enter. A smirk pulled at his lips as he moved closer. Crybaby gazed at him adoringly, like she had taken a drug. Angelita looked at her drunken expression, smiling as she realized the little crush her friend had gained. "Don't give a fuck... Wheels on the bus..." Crybaby stood up from her seat as she approached the boy with a locked gaze. "I'm holding it down... up in the front..."

The boy's smirk had tugged itself fully. Kelly looked up from her mirror.

What was this brat doing? Fume burned at her head, anger coiling inside of her. She let out a blood curling scream, smoke puffing out of her ears

. The boy noticed her, and took one of his hands off his books and pushed Crybaby aside, letting her fall back into her seat. She looked up at him, shocked, watching him take the seat next to Kelly and take her hand, kissing her knuckles. The driver glanced in the rear view mirror again, still smiling as if unknowing to the scene. Then he took a long look behind his seat, and when he focused again, there was blood dripping down his rear view mirror. He gasped, halting the car, swerving aggressively, and off the bridge. “Wheels on the bus.”
