3. What rp trends are you so over and can’t wait for it to die?

Leans in real close. Y'all are part of a community. Y'all actively chose to pursue a hobby that requires collaboration and OOC interaction. Y'all purposely decided to make a blog, reach out over the worldwide web to find strangers who have done the same.

Y'all do not get to be surprised or outraged that these strangers do not align with you 100%.

In fact, there are statistically many strangers who do not agree with your views, your comfort, and your standards. You have to enforce your own boundaries. They are your personal lines in the sand, and you have to draw them, whether as close or distant as you please.

I think pr0 and 4nti discourse is so much bullshit for that reason. Wanna write something? Fucking neato you can do that and block whoever doesn't like it. Don't want to see something? Fucking neato you can block entire tags on this site. Want to write the most fucked up shit imaginable in your own little corner of the internet that oversteps my personal boundary? Like I get it, there's parts of me that are reactionary and want some subjects to never be touched by people who want to dig around in what is to me a very raw wound. 8. Is there a character your OC doesn’t like, if so why?

His longest standing 'Ick' with anybody has only ever been Ace. Albert finds the dude abrasive and is irritated by the joking way they kinda 'not' flirt with Eu. The harshest he's disliked somebody was Jamil. (See Ch 4 stuff). Ch 6 is coming around (I WILL WRITE IT I SWEAR) where there's gonna be some...events that will require Al to see that Jamil ISN'T just a snake in the grass.

12. What is your OC’s favorite event(s), what was their role?

The Airborne Afternoon Fan Event is actually coming up here in August if people wanted to start thinking about what they want their OCs to do/look like. I'm actually in the process of making an SR card for yall as well-

Actually, Halloween! Autumn is already his favorite time of year; couple that with all the merriment and spookiness that NRC goes All Out with, it's a lot of fun! His dorm actually takes control of 'Main Street's decorating, and subsequently where the Magicam Monsters meet One Hell of a Tour Guide 😈

it's actually going to be a combination of Ch 5 events as well as Ch 6. I've already written and posted up to Ch 5 in the timeline, but you'll have to see how he changes even more in Ch 6

8. Is there a character your OC doesn’t like, if so why?

Funny or not funny: Sebek. Tidus has heard at some point that Sebek is half human, so doesn't understand why the Knight is so admonishing of his own culture? They've actually gotten to bumping chests over whether something Human was considered 'lowly' or not.

Lilia had to have a talk with Sebek about 'being careful of the nice ones, especially when they're much bigger than you. Don't be 'The Reason'.'

12. What is your OC’s favorite event(s), what was their role?

Portfest! Like everyone else, he's there to greet folks, work the churro stands, and play a bit of music (Bass Drum being his UvU)

I actually hadn't thought about that OvO Most of my development for him actually came from RPs with Squidwen, and that was all orbital to Main Story events.

I WILL SAY: Tidus does grow a bit more of a spine after One of Squidwen's OCs tries staging a union walkout and another needs protection from Jade for having a mushroom-shaped hat.

8. Is there a character your OC doesn’t like, if so why?

Azul! He's not a fan of that sneaky, double-speak way he runs things. "Pulpito needs to quit worrying so much about everything. Can't get down every detail just right, there's always gonna be improv."

Another Port Fest Fan! What's there not to like about Churros, music and getting to make townsfolk smile?

Laz is a rather minor character. If he were more central, his big arc would also be Ch 6. He and Idia technically grew up together in the Isle of Woe, albeit in different districts. Because of what he'd heard Idia was going home for a bit, he thought he might as well take some time to come with him. After all, the Isle of Woe (personal HC) is more or less a 'company town', where everybody in some manner has experience working for STYX.

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? I am pretty sure it was due to some friends I had in high school at the time lol. Ironically they wrote on Tumblr haha. I wrote short stuff on DeviantArt before that as one-shot things but we don't perceive that.

How were you introduced to TOA? I saw a promo post for it on Twitter. I was in a multi-fandom rp group writing 3H there at the time but I was intrigued at the idea of getting to interact with more Fire Emblem characters and having a new setting for my 3H muse.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? Three Houses was all over my Twitter feed when it came out and so I checked it out! The gameplay looked neat and the story seemed cool. And now I am here!

What Fire Emblem games have you played? I have played or watched playthroughs of Jugdral, the Archanea games, Awakening, Fates, Valentia, 3 Houses, and Engage.

If you have past muses, are there any you miss in particular? I enjoy them as characters but I don't want to write any of them right now. I prefer seeing them in other people's hands hehe.

Who was your first TOA muse? If you no longer have them, can you see yourself picking them up again? My first muse was Flayn and I don't see myself writing her again. I wrote a lot of stuff for her both here and the previous MFRP group I was in and I feel satisfied with that.

Do you believe you have a type of character you gravitate towards writing? (If you filled this out last year, has this changed in any way?) My muse type is still the same I think lol! I gravitate a lot towards stoic women- Something about these ladies having a lot of responsibility on their shoulders and, for some of them, a colder exterior but a kind heart.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? Male muses never stick for me in general. Aside from that, I'm not really sure, but I guess maybe characters who's designs are neat but I don't have their lore as well-grasped.

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? (If you filled this out last year, has this changed in any way?) I enjoy a mix of things! I like fluff as much as I like angst stuff- It depends on the muses and context. I like steering my muses towards certain arcs and I like them developing friendships as well as finding themselves in difficult scenarios.

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? I'd like to write more AU's! The 3H timeskip AU and Fell Xenologue AU's are two off the top of my head. Otherwise, I hope to explore more of Edelgard opening up about herself and Celine developing more knowledge on surrounding lands.

Favorite TOA-related memories? I enjoyed Fantom Loews and KKE a lot as two lore events that come to mind! I also really have liked every Ethereal Ball interaction my muses have had. The more casual setting allows them to meet both old and new muses.

Present or past tense? I switch around but I've written more in past tense overall.

Normal size text, small text, no preference? I default to small text and bolded dialogue but I change it around sometimes and don't have a preference for other people when writing with me!

How long is your roleplay experience? Probably around 10+ years at this point, unless running around as Pokemon on the playground counts, in which case more like 20 years ahaha

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? I'm reasonably certain Fire Emblem was my first foray into tumblr RP, and Emmeryn was my first muse! There was a little indie community that I joined back then, though I haven't kept in contact with them

How were you introduced to TOA? I don't really remember, but all I know is that I lurked around the masterlist around the time of L&K but didn't pluck up the courage to join until nearly a year later when I saw there was a Reyson (shoutout to birdie!)

Do you have any pets? Nope! Moved around too much as a kid and current living situation doesn't support having one. Closest I got was sharing an apartment with my roommate's floofy cat for two years in college; his name's Chester and he was super adorable. I'd like to have a dog someday though!

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period) WINTERRRR I am a human furnace and summer is suffering. Every spring I start counting down the days to the next winter ahaha

I joined an archery club in grad school (two years ago) to understand what shooting a bow feels like. I love swimming but haven't been to a pool for maybe like 9 years now. I really like going to zoos.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? My older brother introduced my younger brother and me to Japanese FE4 when we were kids, when we knew absolutely no Japanese and just messed around the first map and never beat it. I properly started playing when I was in high school, with FE7 being the first game I beat! I normally count my official FE gaming journey as starting with 7 in high school :'D

I (34 transmasc) had met my ex fiancé K (34 NB) in college around our senior year. Our relationship moved pretty quickly, and when we graduated we’ gotten engaged and moved into an apartment together.

Things were going good until I came home to find K standing over a dead body in our living room.

I tried to call the police, get help, do soemthing, but K stopped me. They hit me over the head and knocked me out when I tried calling 911.

when I woke up, K was gone, their engagement ring on the kitchen counter.

I ended up becoming a detective after that. Not just because of what happened with K, but because it had always been an interest of mine.

flash forward 12 years ago to today, I’m investigating a serial killer case. After combing through some evidence, I find that K is back in town, and was at a site where one of the killings took place.

so, I brought them in for questioning. K was being as smug as ever, deflecting all my questions with non-answers. Eventually, I was able to find out why they were back in town.

they said they knew the kill before, and the killer had asked for K’s help. K agreed, but only on the condition that they wouldn’t hurt their niece, P (22 F). P would be in danger if K said anything to the police that might get K’s ‘ acquaintance’ as they put in, in custody.

More context, P has just started working at the station as a file clerk. I didn’t know she was K’s niece until they told me. Before finding out their relations together, I was fully ready to take care of her, but after finding out they were related… well, I wasn’t too sure.

I tried acting like I didn’t care, that it was out of my hands whether P lived or died. I even think it worked. K was understandably upset at this, and as I left the intterogation room they were yelling at me.

I went to P right after to explain that she should cut her communication with K off completely, and gave her mine and my (job) partner’s numbers just in case she needed help.

I do believe P is upset at this, so is K, but it wasn’t like I was actually jsut gonna watch as P died. Either way I knew I was gonna try to help her if necessary.

Personality overviews

- Rose looks like she's quiet and timid, but don't be fooled; she's actually pretty sassy, occasionally even sarcastic. She doesn't care about her appearance at all and is often seen play fighting with the triplets.

- Larry is a bit sarcastic (definitely not as much as Iggy though) and has no filter, and even though he may not look like it, he's a ball of anxiety. He tends to pretend that he's tougher than he actually is to try to look like he's not about to punch something... or someone.

- Iggy is loud, hyper, batshit crazy, way more sarcastic than Larry, and also completely lacks a filter. He shows affection through odd means, often through making "k y s"/"die" jokes, to hide the fact he has a softer side.

- Lemmy is also a ball of anxiety with no filter, though is way less sarcastic than the other two of the triplets. He has been known to blurt out whatever's on his mind — it doesn't matter if it's rude, nonsensical, or whatever else — whenever it pops into his head; he doesn't mean to be rude he's just Like That.

- Bowser Jr just wants to be seen as cool despite really being a softie at heart. He's a bit more childish than the triplets despite them all being 13.

- Wendy is very much a diva, and she's very easily annoyed by what she perceives as "childish behavior" (which is mainly just the way that Larry, Lemmy, Iggy, and Rose joke around with each other). Underneath her snobby diva exterior is a sweet young lady with a love of all things cute.

- Roy is very much the "one sitting back and eating popcorn while watching shit go down" type when it comes to the shenanigans his siblings get into. He tends to find humor in the smallest things; this started as a way to help manage his anger issues and slowly the simplest things became a genuine source of amusement.

- Morton is very much a "beware the quiet ones" type of person; he's usually very quiet, especially when watching the youngster-typical chaos the youngest five get into, but if anyone lays a finger on any of them with malicious intent he instantly goes protective big bro mode. He also doesn't understand many social cues and tends to either say nothing or say too much.

- Ludwig is just as crazy as Iggy, just far more reserved and not nearly as sarcastic. He tends to put up a "prim and proper" exterior to hide the fact that he, too, is just as much of a chaos magnet as the youngest five.
