Okay y’all, I’m as iffy with the musical as the next ghoul but I have to draw the line at the whitewashing. No, Harris and Prishkulnik do not have the exact same skintones as their animated counterpart and I would prefer Cleo to be played by an actual Egyptian as well. But it dismisses the fact that both actresses are still POC. Could they have done better? Yeah, probably. But taking their looks at face value and being mad because they don’t have the exact same skin color is very nitpicky to say the least. An effort was made, and I’d say it’s close enough to be forgiven. Don’t call it whitewashing because it doesn’t translate 100% accurately.

I personally think that outfits looks not bad for the live action especially for Nickelodeon, but i have just one thing to say, i don't understand why they decided to change lagoona that much, she looks new and interesting, kinda looks like Doja Cat, but i love old one with blue skin and blonde-aqua hair
