[ stray kids first impressions of june ] 

[ han jisung ]

he hates talking about it and is so embarrassed by it, but initially had a “bit” of a crush on june. he thought she was really pretty and found her shy personality cute. (was lowkey jealous of chan and changbin that they were closer with her). 

his crush on her actually continued for quite a while into knowing each other but eventually fizzled out (as he wasn’t making any moves and she had no idea about his feelings). apparently everyone else knew/could tell jisung had a crush on june, except her. when she found out about his old crush she couldn’t stop going between laughing and cooing over him, kind of feeling bad she hadn’t noticed. 

both are happy and prefer their friendship to anything else.

thought she hated him at first. very quickly realized he was wrong though. he was very bubbly and excited to meet someone else who spoke english and she was caught very off guard and had no idea how to react. 

felix being touchy (not nearly as much as now) was something june was not used to and was very confused by this deep voiced Australian boy, clad in gold jewelry, constantly nudging her shoulder, leaning on her, poking her, and grinning. and june who cannot control her facial expressions would be like o.0? but eventually june would nudge him back and felix quickly realized she did not in fact hate him.

saw her performing at a showcase and thought she had to be debuting soon. seemed to carry herself like an idol who had already debuted. 

later officially met her at a nearby restaurant and was surprised by how easily approachable she was. had a way of making him feel very comfortable in the conversation very quickly. they got very close very quickly. 

[ yang jeongin ]

was kind of intimidated by her initially as she was a really talented vocalist. but, unlike most others in the group, didn’t immediately default to treating him like a baby since he was the youngest. 

june would often ask jeongin’s opinion on vocal stuff, and place importance on his knowledge, experience, and talent. something that june continues to do to this day.

hi hello whatever u do dont think about how when sungho was having his last one to one conversation with seunwoo, he told him how compared to seunwoo, he felt like he "said a lot more hurtful things to junsung and made him wait for so long", and as soon as he got home and just saw junsung sitting on the floor in the living area weaving yarn, he just felt so comforted by that sight. that here's this guy who waited and waited and waited and never once pushed sungho into a corner for anything in return, but just quietly and gently went about everyday for the last 7 days making sungho feel so loved and wanted and special in every which way he could, "like nothing had happened" - as if sungho didn't make junsung wait for him over and over again, as if sungho wasn't so stressed and hurt and in pain at the thought of hurting junsung and blaming himself and calling himself selfish for it. like. here's this guy who sits on the floor and hangs his legs on the back of the chair when he sits on them and dresses the complete opposite to sungho (and yet there's evidence that sungho wears junsung's clothes now) and gives him his coat to wear and remembers all the small details sungho talks about casually in passing and says them back to him and knows exactly how to make sungho laugh and how to make him shy and flustered and leans into and hangs onto even the slightest bit of affection that sungho shows to him and doesn't hide what he feels or thinks at all to sungho like. he just makes everything so clear and simple for sungho. and sungho just got so ... choked up at seeing this absolutely mundane sight of junsung sat on the floor and coming home to him and all he could do was just go up to him and hug him and tell him he missed him and all sungho ever even does now is just. love junsung. he spends every minute not wasting even a single moment anymore and loves jusung. he doesn't want to wait anymore or make junsung wait any longer now.

don't tell me true love doesn't exist. jusung may have fallen first, but sungho? fell harder.

[ JUNE’S RELATIONSHIP WITH STRAY KIDS ]  part two. 

[ HAN JISUNG ]

ship name: Jusung

description: Probably the only ‘00 member Han didn’t fight with predebut. Not that he didn’t try/that they didn’t have conflicts with one another, but because June (despite appearances) is very non-confrontational they never really went anywhere. June didn’t give Han a lot to fight with. He would try to get a reaction out of her and she was just stone faced. If anything that probably angered him more. But eventually Han left June alone and started coming to her when he needed help when fighting with the other members. He liked that she didn’t judge him for when he got emotional, and just listened to him. When he needed to vent, Han went to June. When he needed advice, he went to Chan and Changbin. Weirdly, Han and June bring out the quiet in each other. They’re both loud introverts, and they show very quiet affection with each other. Small touches, leaning on one another, etc. June also gets nervous in public but when she’s with Han, the “mom friend override” engages and she can get anything done by his side. But on days off they’re most likely together, spending the entire day in bed, on the couch, watching tv, and ordering in food. Han is also the person June went to first when she started writing lyrics of her own. They also are the two who can get each other to laugh until there are tears in each other’s eyes. 

fan favorite moment: In a day off vlog Han and June spent the day together and went to a cat cafe together. They were fighting over who would hold the camera at certain moments in public because both were too embarrassed to do it. There are a lot of favorite pictures fans have taken of them cuddling with the cats from this video.

[ LEE FELIX ] 

ship name: Julix

description: brings out her affectionate side. June loves cuddling her ‘Lixie. Will just randomly go up and lay on top of him, barely allowing him to move or breathe. Loves to randomly hold his hand, especially when Changbin is on the other side. Felix is also the person who brings June back down to Earth when everything just gets a bit too much. Being the only girl there are times where she’s felt like and has had a lot more on her plate. Felix lets her just be ‘a kid’ again and encourages her more silly, childish, and responsibility free side loose.

fan favorite moment: when june fell asleep on top of felix and he kept asking everyone to help him get out from under her but everyone refused to help him. kept telling him to keep it down so june could sleep and to just accept his fate. a few minutes later the camera returned to show that he had fallen asleep as well. 

[ KIM SEUNGMIN ]

ship name: Junmin

description: okay so, vocalracha are her children, understand? Granted, if that’s the case they are being taken away from CPS immediately. But, yeah, she loves them. Seungmin and June are constantly fighting and at each other’s throats. Who needs boxing training or a punching bag when they have each other? The amount of times the other members have had to pull these two apart for fear of them causing actual physical harm to one another. Or have been worried that they were actually fighting when they were just messing around. But despite appearances, they really love and care for one another. June always is sure to balance their little play fights with affection. June is always hyping Seungmin up and loves listening to him sing (and rap).

fan favorite moment: june was doing a live one time on her own when Seungmin entered the room (off camera) and shot a nerf gun at her, nailing her right on the forehead. he then ran out of the room giggling. june ended the live early to chase after him and enact her revenge. 

[ YANG JEONGIN ] 

ship name: Jugin

description: he’s the baby. He’s everyone’s baby. June loves doing little random asides with him. While watching the rest of the group go crazy they’ll just be sitting together, her arm around his shoulders, going, “it’s so hard for us. We have so much responsibility on our shoulders being the most sane and good-looking members." Hyunjin will also sometimes join in on them with these little jokes. June often will whistle at him and just hype up Innie. (But also during Charmer purposefully turns away, she supports, but she cannot bear to see it).

fan favorite moment: more of a compilation of videos where they are moving in sync, especially one of them where they are both incredibly sassily flipping their hair at the same
