SAIKO. How do I even begin with you, honestly?

You were there years ago on my old blog, you saw and talked to a younger me, you’ve seen how I was, shy and unsure, just ambling along and trying to figure out how the fuck to maneuver myself around the animu side of Tumblr RP. You were there while I was still trying to put myself together in this community, you were there when I was trying to find my pathetic soft son some friends, Light was there to make everything 10x more angsty and scary and freakish for my already pretty freaked child. You were there to talk to me about Death Note, about Lana Del Rey, about inappropriate senpai crushes, about memes, about random shit–you were a reassuring presence on my dash and in my stay in that old blog. Someone chill, someone cool, someone who was always just there. That was you–that funny, dependable, effortlessly awesome person on the dash with a rad sense of humour.

When I made my new blog years later–new muse, new me lmao–I just knew you were one of those people from the old dash that I needed to have on my new one. I’ll be honest, I kinda really felt a little (a lottle) “meh” and “nah, no thanks, no more” about that first try in the anime RP comm, which is why I stayed away for a long, long time--but you were one of the very few people there that made the whole thing bearable for me. I knew I had to reconnect somehow. 

It was a stroke of fucking luck that I found you again, and I’m just. skejrksejr I’m extremely happy that I reconnected, and when we spoke again, it was like no time had even passed. You’re still as awesome, still as cool. I was scared we’d stopped being friends because of how suddenly I’d upped and left, but none of that happened. We’re still just as tight, still just as hung up over Lana Del Rey, probably even more hung up about Death Note (bc of that stupid tHING that we refuse to talk about), and you’re still just as hilarious–your knack for funny one-liners and snappy, witty humour is just STAGGERING. And your writing has grown so much too!!! It doesn’t matter whether it’s Tino being broody and sketchy with Light, or Tino being bro-y and stupid with Zeev–as long as I know it’s you behind that muse, I’ll smack that follow button and do whatever the fuck to keep interacting with you.

You’re so, so, so great, Saiko, and I’m glad I got to keep you as a friend. Never ever ever change. You’re fantastic the way you are.

radiant amber hues are amplified by the dim lighting, his gaze fixated not on the television - unlike light’s - but on the crimson apple which seemed to glow in its place beside the screen. every time the screen’s light flickered from scene to scene, the apple’s rich colouring was highlighted in every way and it was practically calling out to him.

            so entranced, he misses the reporters on the tv discussing recent kira kills as he moves in - careful to avoid light during his brooding silence because he knows the boy is likely to smack the apple out of reach and he’s really not down with that right now.

         ever, really - but he just wants the apple.

his arm extends, slim talons reaching out as he just manages to get a grasp before yanking it back to the bed with him. it’s a few mere seconds before a flash of red turns in the air and then vanishes, followed by a hum of satisfaction and the unmistakable crunch.

    only now does he tune in with the rest of the world, or at least the scene around him. light’s grumbling about something and he hears the reporters mention a recent murder. some girl killed her boyfriend out of pure jealousy.       it’s always amusing to see just how fragile humans really are. especially when they make themselves out to be such a superior species. the report reminds him of misa’s words.

       “ fallin’ in love with a human kills a shinigami, heh ?? what a lame way’da go. death by apples, however ?? now that does sound interesting. ”

It was garbage. Why not make their own movie with different characters and the same premise…

i’d be 1000000% down for that honestly. imagine if they separated themselves from the anime and told a different story about some kid who gets the death note. it was probably an idea brought up but netflix exec’s were like “oooph but the faaans.” 

i still want L’s outfit though.

Something like a shiver runs down her spine, a sight such as this threatened to make Sawa puke her insides out. It’s sickening, yet...somehow there was a strange feeling so very enrapturing, she didn’t know what to call it. The shadows enveloping the blurry figure, swallowing them whole. A swarm of flies like a crown on the head, worms and maggots oozing like bleeding wounds. If they touched her, she was sure to become infected. Nothing like that she had seen before, the walls around them were giant like a fortress...what were they concealing behind all that waste? Was it even possible to tear down walls so high? Her heart quivered.

“Shut the fuck up already.” She interrupts them, every word reeks of shit. Her eyes expectant, she looks where she knows there should be a face.  “You are probably lying, I bet you lie a lot.”
