I put a buncha stars (the elbows all the spikes the more pointy cat paw) and one moon

a BUNCHA bones the front is more cat skull specifically then the back for character duality reasons between her being more human to more fucked up magic-y also it’s a cat skull on her belt

I wanted to really emphasize the color scheme of Panthera trying to do as few colors as possible and then doing the variations of those colors as an attempt to be smart about colors

you can’t really tell but her hair has some strands of the color I used for the like silver or silver attempt cause I’m a big white streaks in her hair advocate

I am curious, do you think of giving her different powers or changing the nature of the Prodigious or keep it the same?

I wrote it being pretty much the same in the fic- I just made her much more angsty so it made her harder to use it. I wrote it in the fic the redesign was for so-! Yeah!

Scarabée and Kitty Claws AU

Dalia Kubdel

Alix and Jalil's mother as well as Alim's wife who has passed away due to a horrible car accident. She died in a car accident when Alix was seven. Like those un her family, she has the "ALI" in her name. She would call Alix "my little Scarabée".

Monica Bisset

One of the girls on Alix's Roller Derby Team. She has a major crush on Alix, but hates Chloé. Ironically, she's a massive Kitty Claws fan.

Albert Corbin, Julien Garnier, & Tristan Boucher

Three bullies that are in Marc and Aurore's class. They're massive fans of Scarabée and Kitty Claws (Albert often tries to flirt with Kitty Claws, much to her dismay). Each of them are akumatized on three separate occasions.

Aurélien Bustier

Caline Bustier's seven year old son. He looks so much like his mother. Chloé absolutely adores him, but wouldn't like her classmates to know that. He doesn't know his father.

Lillian Thorns

A very nice and generous woman that owns a flower shop called "Éclat Épanoui". Alix is often taken to there by Rose or Mylène. Lillian was also good friends with Dalia Kubdel.

Mitchell Clark

An American male model that works with Audrey Bourgeois in New York. He's secretly a fan of super heroes & quite the history buff. He takes a liking to Jalil.

Esmée Rousseau

A teenage girl that's a major fan of Scarabée and Kitty Claws & has major crushes on both of them. This double crush goes away after she's akumatized. She also helps Alya out with the School Blog and the ScaraBlog from time to time. She's great of making and designing superhero cosplay and pins.

Brigiette Alarie

A teenage girl that's a member of Francoise Dupont's drama club. She's a big fan of murder/mystery movies. She's not the biggest fan of Chloé, but a major fan of Adrien.

Elroy Castillon

A teenage boy that Marinette and Max beat in the Gaming Competition (which gets him akumatized). He doesn't like Max and Marinette very much (seeing them as rivals), but has a crush on Chloé.

Henri Bohen

Juleka's biological father. He's known Anarka since she performed with Jagged Stone. Once she got pregnant with Juleka, he was so sure that she'd send Luka to be with Jagged. When she doesn't do that, he leaves.

Valerie Anciel

Marc's loving and supportive mother. She's a well known Dramatist in Paris & she adores the writing Marc would show her & understands when he wants to keep certain things he writes about secret. She also adores his relationship with Nathaniel.

Jolie Gouin

A teenage girl that goes to the same school as Kagami and Ondine. She's seen Alya's Scarablog and has wanted to be a Journalist sense then. She developed a crush on Scarabée and wants to interview her someday.

Lucinda Zeal

A Detective/Private Investigator I introduced in an other AU that I wanna introduce in this one as well. She's actually quite supportive of Scarabée and Kitty Claws doing great work. When Queen Coccinelle and Mao Noire comes into play, she's ready to find out what happened to the younger heroines.

This very much gives the idea that Lila's mother is the intensely absent, IE neglectful parent who compensates by saying sweet things but doesn't back it up with any action.

Which likely also made it harder for Lila to really communicate her issues because her mom says nice things, she makes sure she has food, & sometimes spends time around her.

Who would believe her mom is anything but a bit busier than Lila would like? Don't be spoiled Lila, your mother works so hard for you!

With her likely internalizing her mothers sweet nothings as lies & lying herself to trick others to get by a little easier, to get a little attention she so craves, to cover for problems or mistakes.

so, first off, the first thing I thought when I heard the song in its entirety was "Musical Lila!Akuma", so that’s going to live rent free in my head all day.

yeah, I think the implication is definitely supposed to be "absent mom" (though I think this is before the "multi-mom" nonsense) and I always took it as, the one thing Lila DOES tell the truth about is her mom's job. Ambassador is up in the air, but definitely works for the Italian embassy, which would actually go a long way to explaining a lot about Lila.

If Lila's mom is an Italian ambassador, Lila probably is well travelled, and probably has met SOME important people, at least by proxy. The best lies have a kernel of truth in there somewhere, after all. It’s plausible she could have met most of these people. She's also probably never in the same place longer than a year or so. She moves to a lot of new places, many of which may or may not have a language in common with her. She probably never shows up at the start of a school year, but partway through, when everyone's already formed their friend groups. She’s always "the new girl", either seen as a weird foreigner, or a shiny new toy with fun stories of other places. But how many people stick around when the stories dry up? Better make more stories, better stories, so you aren’t alone - and then it doesn’t even matter, because you'll be gone in six months, and eventually all your "friends" have steady lives to get back to, so they stop calling, stop texting, and you're right back where you started.

Plus, how much time do you think she's actually spent in Italy, in her own house, since she was little? Does she see the rest of her family?

Also, I find it interesting we don’t see her dad. Mostly cause the other kids have either really well established home lives, or we ignore them, with the implication they are "normal". If there are single parents, we eventually do get explanations - Anarka either never told Jagged or he decided he wouldn’t be a good dad, Mylene's mom sucked, Felix's dad died (and also sucked), we won't even get into Gabriel and Emilie. I think the only other "Sir-Not-Appearing-In-This-Show" parent we get no info on is Kagami's dad. So, where's Mr. Rossi?

Sick? Died? Missing? Divorced? Was he a nice guy? Equally neglectful? Did he know about Lila's lies? Did he encourage it? Ignore it? Is Mrs. Rossi acting like this cause of something to do with her husband? Is she mourning him? Did he cheat on her? Was she even ever married? Is Lila technically a bastard baby? Or is her mom truly a single mom - wanted a kid, went through IVF?

(I mean, I have similar questions about Kagami's dad, but if we keep the Sentimonster stuff, along with everything else, then it does actually make sense that Tomoe never had a romantic partner of any kind, she just wanted a kid/heir, no partner was involved at any point)

BEHOLD MY PJO/HOO ORIGINAL CHARACTER

This wonderful artwork was done by @justanotherpersonsuniverse they're a wonderful artist and writer whose works I enjoy a ton. If you're into miraculous ladybug, Splatoon, or good art and vibes in general I would guide you towards their blogs.

This is Bellerophon Heimbald, sometimes called Camp Half-Blood's Benchwarmer Hero, but most of their friends just call them Bell

A strong wielder of They/Them pronouns, Bell is a child of Euphrosyne, goddess of mirth, merriment, and joy.

Alright, this post is a little long, so ima make a break here. Bellow this is more stuff about the OC and some semi-relevant rants on greek myth lore

They changed their name to Bellerophon because they were Bell before but wanted a less gender specific full name. Also, Bellerophon is Bell's favorite Greek hero because they really love horses and pegasi, and dream of one day riding on Pegasus, the majestic flying god-horse.

Bell gets super fucking jealous of Reyna.

Bell made the unique decision to declare themselves as a Champion of Hestia, a title and role that notably doesn't exist. Despite this, Bell stubbornly insists on their role as a protector of homes and families. They will insist on being sent on, or sometimes sneak out to go on, quests relating to saving the families of her friends and fellow campers. Such endeavors include, but are not limited to, 'my godly step mom kidnapped my Mom for having too many kids with her husband', 'My Dad keeps sending me bloodstained notes and his fiancé says he hasn't left the house since I left for camp', or 'the Titan Army kidnapped my mortal siblings because I'd been feeding them false info while pretending to spy for them'. Bell will also eventually be accepted as Hestia's Champion and will be sent on quests to solve squabbles between the gods that have really been killing the vibe on Olympus. Things such as 'My husband thinks I'll fall for this shit again so I made a doll to replace him', 'That bitch banged my daughter and I might start a war over it', or 'oh fuck I lost the moon'.

The PJO storyline spans many years and this is only a screenshot of time for Bell's character. They're about 16 in this art, at around the time of The Battle of the Labyrinth book.

Bell's godly parent is not a well known goddess, Euphrosyne is one of the Charities, a trio of goddess siblings who serve as Aphrodite's attendants. The best way I can relate who she is is that she's the daughter of the Titaness of water-meadows, Eurynome, who raised Hephaestus after he was baby-tossed off Olympus by Hera. Her father is of course Zeus, though it might not have been adultery. Hesiod claimed that Eurynome was Zeus's third wife after Metis, who he absorbed, and Themis, who Zeus divorced after birthing at least 2 (possibly 3) sets of triplet goddesses. One set of those triplets was the wrinkly goddesses now known as the fates, who scared their parents so much that Zeus got a divorce and Themis stopped having kids and went to law school or something or other.

In any case, my point is that Bell's demigod powers aren't flashy or destructive like the show's main cast. Bell can innately sense when those around them feel positive emotions, a kind of joy empathy radar. They can also induce and amplify positive feelings in others, though its not effective most of the time. Their only other powers include a slightly dulled sense of pain and a resistance to poisons.

A few years into their story, Bell will end up gaining the blessing of Hestia's hearth fire. This blessing grants Bell several powers that are all defensive due to the nature of Hestia and her flames. Bell's wounds will instantly cauterize in battle and heal faster after the battle is done. Poison has way less effect on Bell, combines with their poison resistance from their demigod powers this essentially makes them immune to all non-divine poisons. Their regular body temp is also increased to around 107°F, making them very popular with the Hypnos kids during winter months. This obviously grants an aspect of fire resistance to Bell, but not immune like Leo, at about the same level as Hephaestus kids.

That spear is their primary weapon, a cross shaped Japanese style spear that Bell found wrapped up in the camp armory. It also happens to have been cursed by the man who forged it and is a very dangerous object.

That leather bracelet is actually a size changing celestial bronze shield in it's smallest size, a small disk of metal attached to the leather arm strap. It was gifted to Bell by their mother Euphrosyne. It was forged by Hephaestus, who was convinced to make the shield by his wife, Aglaia, who is also one of the Charities. Aglaia didn't just do that as a favor for her sister though, but that's not super important.

Yes, Hephaestus got remarried canonically, in both mythology and described in Percy Jackson's Greek Gods.

Bell is the main character of a PJO fanfic story I've been creating with my best friend. Though, while Bell may be the main character of their story, they are ultimately a side character in the PJO/HOO stories. My goal for Bell's story is that that it's written into the sidelines of the story the book tells, this story is the one that happens when Percy is off on his quests, or during the non-summer months when most characters are with their families, or in the gaps of time between books. I'm having a ton of fun developing a story like this, filling in the background of an already great story.

I've been writing and developing Bell's story, as well as a couple other OCs of mine, for about the past 6 months or so and this is the first time its being seen publicly. I've been trying to write a whole book/questline of story before releasing as my current fanfics update one every blue moon and I feel bad about it.

This is only 1 of the 4 Camp Half-blood OCs i have for this story and, even further, only 1 of the 10 OCs I plan to put story focus on throughout my whole plotline. Hyperfixation went crazy.

Not all of my AUs have full fics to them because honestly I have more thoughts than I have time and energy to write, but my major ones are on there!

I will comment that Lady Luck is a separate thing from Panthera Noire!

Lady Luck is my AU where Chloé gets the Ladybug Miraculous instead of Marinette, but Adrien is still her Chat Noir.

Panthera v hawkmoth was at the end of the school year so pride month of course which means tons of memes about that have GOT to be going around

Miraculous citizens have got to be super traumatized from HM and probably hate/ fear sad or angry people so Pantheras gotta deal with all of them

Hawkmoth kinda disappears for a while so despite Panthera and lb clarifying he got away everyone kinda thinks Panthera killed him and they’re covering it up or just thinks it’s funny she beat him so bad he’s gone for so long

The opinions on Panthera and ladybug vary from teens to gods but the other heroes (Rena QB and carapace) are for sure teens so some people think these two gods just up and kidnap these kids to help them fight huge monsters
