what about giyuu not necessarily being suicidal so much as just not wanting to live—like, he’s not chasing death but he’s not enthusiastic about being here. he feels like he has to atone for failing to safe sabito & tsutako, but doesn’t think death is the key? more so, he wishes he were never born so that none of it would’ve happened. it’s less a ‘i wish to die’ and more a ‘i shouldn’t have existed’ sort of situation?? kind of makes more sense to me than giyuu being suicidal—esp with his job, he really canNOT save people if he’s dead and the whole point was that he wished tsutako and sabito lived (or that he’d saved them?). then he doesn’t care about dying because it wouldn’t do anything except put a larger burden on the hashira, but if he never existed… then they would’ve been fine. something along those lines

The problem with being a minor on the internet (besides the creeps) is the fact that you are a minor.

People around you are mostly adults and they often insult people for having a different opinion, sometimes they're aggressive because you don't think like they do.

And sometimes they're right, sometimes you're in the wrong, even often, but you know what?

You're 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17, or even less in some cases. You are meant to be wrong, you're a teenager who just started discovering the world and of course you're going to have 'bad' opinions, of course you'll make mistakes, of course you'll be in the wrong. It's not your job to save the world, you don't have to do or do not something because someone tells you to and you're not a horrible person for not knowing that something is wrong.

You CAN'T have the same knowledge as a 30 year old guy, you don't have to know everything about the morals. It's okay to make mistakes.

The problem is that the adults aren't the bad ones here. Technically, it's your 'fault' for being wrong, for having wrong beliefs, for doing something that people shouldn't do (we're not talking about extremes like murder, we're talking about saying a word that you didn't know was wrong, about shopping from a shop that you didn't know was wrong, about reading a book that you didn't know was wrong).

But it's not your fault either, it's not anybody's fault. It's completely okay to not know something and because you once shopped from Shein cause you thought it was an ethical shop doesn't make you a bad person.

Realizing that you're doing something inappropriate/wrong hurts, especially when someone insults you because of this, but it doesn't mean you're terrible (again, I'm not talking about literal crimes here, killing/being fucking mean/intentionally hurting others DOES make you a horrible person).

It goes to the adults too, you don't have to know everything, but I just feel like minors put too much pressure on themselves cause "oh no I didn't know it was wrong to say that, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry" or "oh no I promised to write the poem but it just couldn't turn out how I wanted it to and I used AI, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm a bad person"

DO acknowledge your mistakes but DON'T beat yourself over them.

I don't know if this post makes sense, there's much I want to say that I can't express.
