“Never mind that right now,” his manager was surely waving a dismissive hand around, sounding distracted but oddly curious. “How’s your skin?”

Considering who he was, Kim was unlikely to be skinned alive and worn by his manager, but he supposed the chances were never zero. Somehow, his childhood surely led to him being prepared for this moment, because all Kim did was sigh in response, his tone leaning toward annoyance. “Pond.” 

“Well? How is it?” 

Kim wasn’t exactly known for his patience, and between the morning's dramatics and a distinct lack of sleep the sarcasm slipped out before he could think to self edit. “Why, are you planning to skin and wear me?”

the first time they go grocery shopping in the alps, bea makes a list. she follows that list to a tee, but ava begs begs begs for just a little treat, or two, or three. bea sends her a fond disapproving look, but begrudgingly acquiesces.

the next week, ava does the same, but bea only lets her get two things instead of three.

the week after, bea leaves the list on the kitchen counter while she's out on a run and ava sneaks a few items onto the list, carefully trying to replicate bea's neat script despite her developing fine motor skills.

of course, bea notices the slight shake of milk duds and smarties amongst the steadier broccoli and spinach, but she just smiles to herself when ava's eyes light up as she adds the boxes of candy to the basket.

lilith, who pops in from time to time when they're not looking, also catches on and adds her own additions, leaving bea desperately searching for chayote and slightly green blueberries in their tiny swiss village, cackling from behind a stall as she watches bea frantically potter around and ava follow in confusion.

At least the ruckus pulls Arm out of his conversation and back to his side. “Is there a problem,” he says in a tone that promises there better not be a problem, as he puts his hand on the small of Porsche’s back. Which is fine and Porsche can deal with that like he’s not a guy with a crush on the gorgeous man next to him so obviously he blushes. Or, Porsche has a crush on his three roommates and is totally chill about it. As long as people stop assuming he's dating them, his poor heart can't take this. Or, Six times people assume Porsche is dating Pete, Pol and Arm and one time he does something about it.
