I don't understand why people hate weezer. I mean, come on, rivers just wanted to make music with some guys. And when he got to fame, he was like, "Hey, I don't think I can handle this much fame. So I'm just gonna go back home and do college things." I really like how when rivers got too uncomfortable with how he had the spotlight on him, he decided to just take a break and come back with a more personal album. some songs from weezer are not the greatest you've heard, but at least they can give you something to just vibe with.
Also, have you seen what the band looks like?! They look like your middle/high school teachers who decided to put a band together!!
Rivers Cuomo seems like a nice dude :3

Honestly, attachment to sex rather than gender as a social construction won't create a utopia without the subjugation of one's presentation, background, or experience from existing. Recognizing that sex and gender are both socially constructed and while they sometimes inform one another, they won't always, and that trans people absolutely can attest to this and are integral to making change for a better world are insurmountably important. If your desire for a "better world" coincidentally doesn't include us, what you desire isn't a better world where people are free - it is subjugation by a different name.

Guys I was just on Scott's twitter likes and saw... he's a massive zionist. If there were an outlet where I could hold a calm measured discussion with him I would, but based on the stuff he's liking, I don't think he'd be open to that sort of dialogue.
