Don’t have much of a concept for either yet, but a) imagine neglected batsis (bio for bonus) and for years they pretty much deem you useless and unneeded. Maybe batsis’s mom is a villain or at least a Villian type so they don’t want to get close. Then they end up one day having no choice but to introduce them to their friend because they happened to be getting something from the kitchen, only for the friend to immediately like batsis. There was no warning, just straight up when batsis awkwardly left they say honestly “I like her, she’s cute.” I feel like Damian or Tim would try to downplay batsis but Jon or Conner is like “so…?” Especially in Damian’s case because Jon who could be like “says the guy raised by assassins???” But also Conner would be like “You do know I am technically the son of Superman AND lex Luther right? It’s important to me that you know that.” They get jealous of batsis , but slowly they get to know her through them and they’re like “wait she does martial arts?” “What do you mean she’s been down town helping (insert charity)?” “Since when did she get in to robotics?!” Etc. They end up now jealous of their friend which will confuse batsis
Now b) is neglect but instead of the whole family rejecting batsis imagine she stopped attempting after Damian. Case, Duke, and Steph are basically out the loop as to why she doesn’t talk to any of them and first they all let it be. That is until they see how close she is to Alfred and they ask what the deal is, does she just not like anyone else in the manor? Then Alfred explains she used to try with the first five (Barbara included), but they all pushed her to the side or made it clear they didn’t like her. He says Damian was her breaking point so she ignores them so she knows they can’t hurt her. Cass would be the most fragile to hearing the reason behind her distance I think. Duke would probably start pushing more and Steph would be conflicted. Duke would probably also be the one to break down the little Barrier she has up. She’d give them a chance only because of Duke but would continue to hide from the other five until an incident occurs.

Here's a morsel of truth for you. If Dean ever became genuine friends with another angel, Cas would become so sick with jealousy he would NOT be able to keep it together even 2 sentences of Dean saying anything nice about them. In a way that he wouldn't with a human Dean got close to.
Oh, so they get to be a fully powered angel, AND have the esteem of angel society, AND have Dean's affection AND are probably more useful to him than Cas can be (due to point one) AND don't have the guilt of the ages. Cas would be SICK. He'd be as rude to their face as he can (until Dean goes 🥺 can't you just try to get along 🥺 for me? 🥺 👉👈 you know I like you better) and make a lot of pointed comments about how he and Dean have a profound bond and history and he'd find excuses to keep them away from Dean on hunts (which often backfires because then Cas has to hang out with them without Dean, and he can't stand them). He'd make a scene. He'd 'double check' if they ever healed Dean (which could only happen if Cas wasn't there bc Cas would not be shy about physically pushing them aside to heal Dean first) by holding his hand to Dean's forehead and staring deeply into his eyes for way too long, giving him so much Grace his skin gets a little magnetised for a week.
Dean. Btw. Would not help. He notices this early on and, unfortunately for Cas, thinks it's cute, funny, hot and harmless and also gratifying to have Cas get so protective and borderline stalkery over him. He'd absolutely egg this on by getting more touchy-feely with the other angel only when he knows Cas is watching, and feigns obliviousness ("but why would that bother you? We're just talking." And Cas barely understands his own negative reaction to the other angel and he and Dean aren't dating at all so has no rebuttal). Obviously if push came to shove and Cas talkes about how he feels like he needs to be Useful to be Family and that his place is being usurped Dean would reassure him and probably snog him but before that Dean would have a lot of fun.
However this would never happen because Dean hates all other angels specifically for how they chose to be part of the system Cas bravely rebelled against, didn't see it for what it was or did and didn't care, they value their power and status over all of humanity, AND they HURT CAS which is unconscionable to Dean. So he wouldn't be friends with a full powered angel, and Castiel would be infinitely less jealous of a fallen one. So. Phew!! Lucky on that count, Castiel!!!

One of the things I'm looking forward to most when I get to heaven is the freedom. I will be able to behave according to the truth with no other strings attached. No societal pressure, no false beliefs of my own, no external mold that I have to fit in. I won't be held back by my sin or shame; I will be free. The laws of God will be plain to see, unobscured by finite intellect, and I can live according to those rules and only those rules.

Celebrity!mc who never really steps back into the limelight after coming back from the Devildom and becomes a sort of cryptid where no ones sure if they've seen them or not, and no one being able to track them down.

Don't know much about Transformers lore
But Au were Starscream Soundwave and shockwave are left behind after Megatron switches sides
Starscream: Why don't we take a page out of his book!
Shockwave: Illogical
Soundwave: :-[
Starscream: We use the human's past struggles and we relate to their sympathy to give us sanctuary on a small uninhabited land we regain our strength and leave!
Shockwave: Illogical Humans can not understand what we have been through let alone our cause.
Soundwave: Shockwave's Data inconclusive. Humans once operated in cayst system. Humans fight one another for how they are created.
Shockwave:...Data inconclusive will study to reach a logical conclusion.
Just give me them learning about the humans and there history. Finding connections and being reminded of why they become Deceptions. Like Shockwave finding out about lobotomy and getting flash backs or something like glimpses of a life that once was of what he was trying to create. The three of them bonding returning to the roots of the movement. The three of them reaching out not to government leaders but to civil rights activists and posting things online about there lives about what they once wanted to achieve of how it all went wrong.
Megatron just watching on the sidelines seeing as his commanders move on and continue the dream he once had without him.
The humans unsure of what to do because on one hand they can understand because in their own history they've done some shit, on the other hand they don't know who to believe cause Optimus is neither denying nor confirming anything.
Everything has been posted to the Internet being shared and can't be taken down. Even Megatron's old speeches! The trio just want to go home even if home is no longer there they'll make do with whatever is left...also someone hacks into Ghost and shit hits the fan.

The longer I've been in this fandom, the more I realize that Ace Attorney doesn't just have a trend of terrible fathers, they also have a lack of good mothers.
Like sure you have your Mr. Winners and your Isaac Dovers; but you also have dads like Gregory, Jeff Masters, "Big Wins" Kitaki, and Damian Tenma.
On the mom's side, we have Plum and technically Bikini as she did raise Iris. That's about it.

It really annoys me when people try to romanticize the "I'll save you from the pirates" scene. It is kind of weird that the animators went through the process of doing all that and I laugh every time at Zuko's cheesy ass line (who doesn't) but it's also a bit like... slow your roll there. I think for me the appeal of zutara is that unlike a lot of enemies to lovers out there, there is no "I can fix him" stage for them. no, they're on opposite sides of a war and there's none of that yucky, unhealthy romance stuff that seems too popular in the mainstream today. I will, however, never get over the fact that he basically proposed to her in her grandmother's culture and will continue to enjoy the idea of them both getting embarrassed by this once he joins the gaang. This has been my longer-than-intended PSA

thinking about the dead pixel,, thinking about jimmy
thinking about how anya will always know it's there, will always be able to see it
thinking about how curly says he can't see it because he's focused on everything as a whole, the big picture, and in the big picture it's barely noticable
but to anya it'll always be there, that one dead pixel

I learned some of the meanings behind mole placements, and it just makes me appreciate Viktor even more.
A mole under your left eye can be associated with a serious and arrogant personality, or a pessimistic attitude. Some cultures believe it signifies a hard, sad life.
Moles above your lip can be a sign of charisma, attractiveness, and good communication skills.

I wonder why Watcher doesn't do pod highlights on tiktok. That's like 101 on podcast promo. Post the most out of context dialogue points and have people in the comments clamouring for context by way of a quick link to a full episode.
Personally, I'd post Steven's deadpan "I don't think it's good. I think it's bad," declaration wrt mugs.
Don't they want people listening? Anyway I assume it's because Ryan is worried that Charles Melton will tune in and listen to 20 min of semi reluctant fan-boying.

Thinking about how horrible it would have been if Glumshanks ACTUALLY DIED in Superchargers. Like- that boulder smacking him into oblivion legitimately killed him. Imagine how Kaos would react at the end of the game once he found out. Little dude would be DEVASTATED. I don't think he'd be able to handle knowing that the only person he could ever turn to was killed because of him 😭💔

Alright, hear me out folks, I'm going to paint a picture for you guys.
The Trout family is the model family in Peachyville in the late 40s - early 50s, doting wife with two young children and a third on the way, a husband who is deeply involved with his work but loves his family dearly.
But it is that time period, and Tucker has a particular way of wanting things done. He's not prone to anger, especially around his family. His wife is but a girl, how could she know any better (🤢 I know but like it's the time guys, it's the times just stick with me here) so mistakes are bound to happen!
His office is his safe space, but maybe there was a time she had wanted to be kind and straighten up? Or possibly she found out something she wasn't supposed to know. Or maybe it was something as simple as a light push. Somehow, Trudy ends up really hurt, or even dead. Not on purpose of course! Tucker loves his wife and would never want her dead, along with maiming his third child or worse.
But he can fix this! He's an inventor after all. Which leads to cyborg Trudy, but also Timmy who could also be a cyborg but I don't think that's fully true. I think that the child that Trudy was carrying at the time didn't make it. Tucker couldn't handle that, along with the loss of his wife he couldn't handle the loss of a child. He was already helping Trudy, what's stopping him from making the child that he lost?
So, there you have it! The Trout family with its 2.5 beautiful children, loving and doting wife, and genius, inventor husband as the head of household. The perfect example of a loving family in the 50s in Peachyville.
But that's just my fun little morbid theory, let me know what you think!

friendly reminder
History is political
always has been, always will be
yes, even ancient history
history is not only about how we remember the past
it's also about how we choose to engage with it
how we perceive and interpret it
how we talk about it and use it today
how we write about it
how we teach it
loving history is not only about romanticization of the past
loving history also means engaging with it critically and truthfully
no matter how much we admire and love to talk about ancient civilizations and cultures of the Mediterranean, Near East, Asia, etc.
we still have to remember the harsh realities of how they expanded their empires, conquered land, assimilated cultures, and even how they treated their own people
the same Greece that taught us philosophy and birthed democracy also kept women, foreigners, and enslaved people completely excluded from political rights
furthermore, we have to be careful of how our own societies, cultures, and historical circumstances can affect our interpretations of history
no matter how much we love Aristotle and his philosophical works, he still tried to defend slavery as something natural, and European Christians of the Colonial Era not only used him but also the institutions of slavery in Greece and Rome as one of their rhetorical strategies to defend their own practice of slavery

saw a post that said that elena was a bit dense for trying the "you don't have to do this" approach on kai, when he was clearly enjoying torturing her, and adding onto that, does she not think that he probably "gets off" to her pleading + saying his name over and over?? because i rewatched 6x11 and 6x12, and she uses his name constantly. like, she's probably hoping to catch his attention better, but she has his attention already. he's been isolated for 18 years with NOTHING. no one calling him, no one saying anything. it probably eggs him on more every time.
