(this is just my rambles , pls scroll if u dont want to read jdakjsa ;-;)
ok i'm not good at it, but i'll try to be more serious.
King Ohger is my first sentai after about…10? 11? years since i watch toku as a kid (for sentai, i used to watch shinkenger and power rangers dino force). I start to watch toku again last year because of KR Den-O, simply just bcs i want to rewatch one of my fav childhood tv program. And i cried a lot, not just because of den-o's story but also I remember that I still love toku as much as little me back then
after finished den-o, i crave for more toku to watch, then my older sister told me there's this super sentai that all of the sentai is leaders/kings ((SHE HAVEN'T WATCH KINGOH UNTIL THIS VERY DAY DESPITE BEING ONE OF MY REASON TO WATCH KINGOH, I HATE HER////jk i love u sis)). I didn't watch kingoh while it's ongoing, i binge watch it from ep 1 while it's around eps 20-25. And i regret nothing, i feel a lot of emotions, be it's the good one or even the bad one. I laugh and I cry. I didn't live for 2000 years like jeramie, but i relate to him about dealing with grief and keep everything to yourself bcs you don't want others to worry about you. And the happiness of finally found someone you can rely on, someone that won't say anything but will pat your shoulder and reminds you that they will be on your side no matter what.
I learn a lot of thing from other king too, i learn to be kind from gira and himeno, i learn that it's okay to not care about what people say and be myself the way i am from rita, i learn to stands for what's wrong and didn't back down like yanma, and kaguragi uhm…* shake hands with kagu * yes ur my buddy bro (i swear i have one thing i relate to kagu, i just don't want to tell what it is-)
people can call it 'childish show' (my friend said that when i tell them abt kingoh and kr ;-; that's why i stopped telling abt toku to others and just keep my excitement to myself) and they're still right, but still, kingoh is special to me.
I was ready to be alone on this (I always be), i draw fanarts because i want and i like them so much, and didn't expect at all that i'll found other people that excited about the same thing like me. thank you to everyone who liked, reblog, comment, send asks, i can't always answer everything, but pls know that i appreciate every single of you,
artist, writers, gif maker, friends, everyone.
one day will come the day that my interest maybe will fade away. Until that day come, I'll enjoy my time here and drawing what i want. (((actually this applied to my other fandom too ;-;))))
for you who read this so far, thank u again <3
+ pls have this happy spiders, they're my favorites from all of the finale moments ;-;

Hils Watches Tibetan Sea Flower - Ep 31
OMG I am finally back! This week has been insanely busy and I just haven't had time to watch any dramas. Honestly, rude of RL to get in the way when I only have 2 episodes left.
But I finally have some time so let's do the thing!
Tumblr media
Uh...what's going on? I've never seen Pangzi look this serious before
Tumblr media
Oh shit you know things are bad when Pangzi calls him Wu Xie instead of Tianzhen. Like when your parents use your full name when you're in trouble
Tumblr media
Pangzi is the best husband
Tumblr media
How many scroll are there? People keep finding more! Were these ones down the back of the sofa?
Tumblr media
Oh no we're back to meteors again
Tumblr media
Ah, this is classic DMBJ. There's no supernatural abilities it's all parasitic bugs from outer space
Tumblr media
PANGZI IS SUCH A GOOD HUSBAND 😭
Tumblr media
WU XIE IS SUCH A GOOD HUSBAND 😭
Tumblr media
I have a bad feeling about this. Mostly because I know what happens over the next 5 years
Tumblr media
Every time they talk to the statue I cry 😭
Tumblr media
Me and Pangzi are on the same page as always
Tumblr media
I do love a good yarn wall
Tumblr media
Perfect job for the person who has the second biggest crush on Xiaoge
Tumblr media
OH SHIT ARE WE DOING SHA HAI TOO? I mean obv not all of it because there's only one episode left but
Tumblr media
Okay, it's more 'and then Sha Hai happened go watch/read that if you want to know more'.
I have no idea what's going to happen in the final episode then. This feels like the end.

Any Thoughts/Theories On Pink Corruption S2 EP 3 Part 2 Preview?
So when I woke 5am in the morning, I immediately got onto my phone. While scrolling on YouTube, guess what popped up on my screen, "the next preview"... and when I saw that thumbnail I was like, "It's gonna happen... God no..." If you know what I mean by that...
Tumblr media
You know what let my analyze here start to finish.
*SPOILER WARNING WATCH THE PREVIEW FIRST SEEING THIS*
================================================
The preview starts showing Ajaceare happily laughing after stealing even more tree pieces, most likely from the other Spherical Forest' Groups. But the way she's moving looks like she's like the fucking Little Red Riding Hood bringing her basket of goodies toward her grandma's house.
Anyway, Ajaceare receives a call from from Dub and gives him the news on the amount of tree pieces she collected inside a pink bag. How many damn pieces did she just collect...?
After receiving praise by her boss and hangs up the call, Ajaceare senses nearby unknown shapes, at least 3 who are most likely a new group we haven't seen before. OH SO NOW YOU SENSING SHIT LIKE HOW YOU OR LYCANTHROPY DIDN'T SENSE PENTELLOW AND THE OTHERS FROM THE BEHIND IN THE PREVIOUS EPISODE!!!
================================================
Analyzing The Unknown Shapes
Tumblr media
Let me put this down first for you guys!
Alright, from the look of this group, there is at least 3 individuals here while one of them isn't speaking. There is very high possibility that this is a new group we haven't seen before, but... One of their voices catches my attention.
It is because one of them sounds similar toward Iris's father's voice. Ok, here's what I want you guys to do, analyze Iris's Father's voice from the these timestamps I'm gonna provide for the "Circubit's Reoccuring Memory" and this preview together and see if their is anything off about it.
Timestamps
Circubit's Reoccuring Memory: Here
The Preview: Here
================================================
Unbeknownst to them being watched by Ajaceare, the unknowns shapes were having a private discussion. The first individual wanting to return to the village because the area is giving them the creeps.
The second individual says that they knows, but they can still fight, tell off the first individual's to stop worrying about it. The first individual says that they never knows because they thinks that their is a monster somewhere around here, while the other yells at him to stop it.
Ajaceare than starts menacingly laughing, presumably gonna start attacking them or not. The scene than shifts toward Pyrare and the others finally spotting Ajaceare from the distance. Ajavex tells Pyrare the plan while cutely giving him a nickname, "Tri-Py". Alright...😂
Ajacenus pauses regarding the nickname, prompting Ajavex to clarify it. Ajavex explains that she bestowed this moniker upon Pyrare based on her perception of his appearance, as Ajacenus explains that it is because he looks like a "triangular-shaped pie." Alright...😂 Pyrare than tells the ladies to remain focused on the mission. Pyrare and the others notices Ajaceare disappearing in front of them as Pyrare asked where did she go.
Gold response as he says she's up there, presumably from the trees as the video ends.
Alright, finally done. Let me know your thoughts/theories down in the comment section below!

Dead Friend Forever - Ep 10
The tenth episode of the technically BL series which I rate 10/10. What a time to be alive 💖
While watching this episode I was very angry at Phee for not shutting up and then at Jin when he was yelling and being rude to my sweet little creature Tan, but I decided not to judge them (and not to theorize about other stuff) because:
the behavior of all the characters in this episode was strange, off and very sus, so who knows what they are really doing and thinking
I'm drinking an alcoholic beverage as I write this, so I'm very chill 😄
Could Phee actually tell Jin the whole truth and Jin accept it and not make it a big deal? Yes. This is, in my opinion, believable behavior from both of them. Phee is not a cute lil freak like Tan, he doesn't have as much to lose as Tan, he has something to come back to, unlike Tan, he has a home, a parent. Tan has nothing. Jin could be just tired. Tired of what happened in the past, of his guilt, of being hunted now, of not getting enough sleep, of not eating or having a moment to rest and think, of being constantly on fear-inducing hallucinogenic drugs. Phee confessing the truth because he didn't sign up for murder and Jin forgiving him quite easily are both believable. But as with White, Tee, Fluke, there was something strange, something off, in their scenes. Like their facial expressions at certain moments. Weird words. As for Phee - an ax lying coveniently there? A bottle of poisoned water that only Jin drinks? (I can't believe Phee didn't feel like drinking either, they're sweaty, it's night, it's hot, they haven't had anything to drink for a long time) Then all the marks on the trees were different, so I don't know if it was supposed to be the same tree all along? Phee left the ax outside? And it's strange that Phee knew exactly what Tan had done without even seeing it, like removing those cameras' views, or pulling the wire - how did he know it was Tan? I don't know. It was all so strange 🤔 As if… several things were happening at once, several independent revenges? Multiple agendas? Unexpected alliances? Hm. Whatever! No thinking, only vibing 🥳
Tumblr media
SORRY, WRONG PIC LOL kinda hot tho I MEAN THIS VIBING:
Tumblr media
Por and Top were wounded in the same place 🙂
I don't know if it's a fuck up of the people responsible for the costumes, or it's someone else, but the masked killer attacking Tee and Tan had different clothes underneath than Top.
Of course, I can't help but write how much I love Tan, how much I can't get enough of him, how Mio plays him, shows his facial expression, I'm absolutely crazy about him. Look at him sitting on a throne of lies, manipulation and the corpses of his family's enemies. Look at my son and despair 😍! I thought Por's death wasn't in the plan, and it turns out I was wrong. And you know what, I'm cool with being wrong hehe. There are so few characters like this that I clung to him like a child to its mother's skirt. He reminds me of Charn from Laws of Attraction, Kang Yo Han from The Devil Judge, or MLs from Beyond Evil, I love all of them, so Tan also has my heart and devotion.
Watching DFF is an amazing experience. I'm just having total, pure fun, I feel giddy, the show keeps me on the edge of my seat and on my toes. Not a second is wasted, each character is used to its full potential (even Top lol). I was recently talking to a friend about TV series and he told me that lately, every series he watches, he watches and scrolls on his phone at the same time. Well, what can I say, rel. DFF is a series that has my 100% attention 😤

pumkin speaks: sighh. im so sorry for diappearing (again) for so long. i've been having such a hard time with motivation for...literally everything. i'm trying to get back into the swing of things so i'm hoping to be able to get something out soon. i've honestly been trying so hard and i just...haven't been able to do much of anything for the last few months. i got burned out on everything that i enjoy, including writing. but i've been feeling better as of late (though i'm still working on some personal issues that i honestly wish i didn't need to work on). thank you to everyone who's been so patient, i promise i'll keep trying 🫶🫶
now that the more depressing part is out of the way, i thought i'd give you a little update on what i've been watching! i think last i updated y'all, i was still watching tokyo revengers? i'm all caught up with it now and it's in my list of who i write for. i also watched banana fish (totally cried) but i don't think i'm gonna write for it, lmk if y'all would like to see it and i'll rethink it fs. i'm also all caught up with wind breaker - i watched it as it was coming out. i'm thinking about writing for it, so i might update my list soon. i watched paradox live, and i think i miiight write for a few characters - tbh i wasn't a huge fan of it, esp the ending, but i fw the characters heavy. i finally watched solo leveling which i think was reallyyy good. i think i'm gonna write for sung (shocking). i also watched blue lock but being so honest, i did NOT like it i fear. so sorry to any blue lock fans out there but i was watching it for a friend and it genuinely felt like a chore...i did quite like a few characters but idk if i should write for them. ig i'll think on it some more. *edit bc i completely forgot to mention i'm currently watching one piece 💀💀 i just started alabasta arc like 2 days ago - i'm on ep 97 currently. it's so good omg. i might write for it once i feel like i have a better read on the characters so maybe look forward to that?
anyways, thank you so much for being patient! i will be trying to write soon. i'll also probably update my list over the next few days so be on the lookout fs. if y'all want, i'd be super happy to get some requests and i'm sure that would motivate me a whole lot. anyways, this is getting long so i'll sign off here. thank you for reading! happy scrolling, and have a nice day!

Chenford REWIND- Lucy Chen / Tim Bradford - The Rookie - Season 4 Ep 21 & 22
Here's another pair of episodes that have been requested together a few times, now, so I'd love to answer the call!
SPOILER ALERT: If you hate spoilers, you'll hate this. Run away. Turn around. Scroll on by. If you do choose to enter in, I'm going to write this as though I were seeing the episodes for the first time, but I will be spoiling both these episodes and reference episodes leading up to it.
If you're ready to read, I'm ready to share. Let's dive in!
Mother's Day
"Mm, yeah, that's a hard pass. Look, I'm boycotting Mother's Day, but even if I wasn't, I really don't think this is the right time to meet your parents."
Lucy Chen putting up her walls and keeping the men she dates at arms' length is completely on-brand. We haven't even heard her call a guy she was seeing "boyfriend" to date on this show.
And with everything going on with her mother and her utter lack of support for her daughter, I don't blame her for not making a big deal out of Mother's Day.
Also, Chris, honey. It will never be the right time for Lucy to meet your parents because y'all ain't gonna last. Lucy is meant to be with Tim. You saw it, once, at the world's worst double date, but you've chosen to ignore it. So, you're a moron.
"I figured you'd say that. But they've been hounding me about meeting you for weeks."
Run, Lucy. Run. Because his parents sound as clingy as he is, and you do not need that drama in your life.
Your instinct is right not to want to meet his parents... maybe you don't need to continue knowing Chris, either. Just sayin'.
"Are you really freezing your mom out?" "I mean, I bought her flowers. I'm not an anarchist." "I'm thinking we just lock in the Hyatt. They have a lazy river, what else do you need?"
Oh, look. Tim and his Blonde Bitch and Lucy and her Dead Weight Puffin have run into each other in the station.
Last time the four of them were together, it looked like Chris and Ashley were mighty jealous of Tim and Lucy's connection. I mean, if I were sitting at a semi-romantic dinner next to the love of my life, I'd be distracted, too!
"You think I'd be sick of beaches, at this point, but it's gonna be awesome."
Watch how Lucy looks at her man (and I don't have to clarify which man in the scene, because y'all know how this goes).
She's looking at Tim like he's got a second head. Because there's no way this man is going to be happy going to the beach. He doesn't. like. SAND!!
"I gotta get to work." "Me, too. I'll walk out with you."
Good. You two can take a long walk together, realize you're perfect for one another, and leave Tim and Lucy the hell alone. Everybody wins! (especially us)
"Call me if you change your mind." "I'm not going to."
Love how he touches Lucy and she physically pushes him away. Like, back off, dude. When Lucy's mind is made up, it's made up.
"Change your mind about what?" "He wants me to meet his parents. So, uh, whose idea was Hawaii?" "Mine, I guess, why?" "
Nyla's arrival interrupts the thoughts, but we all know why. Tim Bradford is Tim Bradford-ing, again, and giving too much in a relationship. He hates sand! And he's suggesting they vacation... on an island.
But there's something else needling at her about this vacation...
"Are you proposing to Ashley?"
Look. At. Her. Face. Her face right before she asks. She's building up the courage to ask him this, because big Hawaii vacation is more than he ever did with Rachel, and it screams romance, right?
"What!?"
Cackling laughing at this. This is the furthest thing from his mind, right now. Yes, he's dating this... person... and they're doing dating people things. But, he's not even thinking about marrying her.
"Of course not. We've only been dating a few months."
This suggests that Tim Bradford likes to take things slow, and isn't in a rush when dating someone. But, the "of course not" shows that he thinks it should be obvious to Lucy.
"You might not be aware of some of the signals that you're sending." "What kind of signals?" "The kind that makes her get a manicure because she's assuming she'll be sending pictures of her hand to all her friends."
Tim looks terrified. Look, we all know Ashley is a placeholder girlfriend until Tim and Lucy get their act together. But he doesn't know that.
Tim is visibly shaken. His hand is unsteady on the wheel, he's looking back at Lucy repeatedly while stumbling through answering the call. Because he really never contemplating marrying this woman. Something in him knows she isn't the one.
*hint* The gorgeous, badass gal beside you with the sunshine-y personality and compassionate heart is right there. Might wanna ask her something sometime, eh?
"My abuela taught me the perfect curse to put on him."
I have to put this line in here for context. Yes, Angela is talking about Nyla's ex. But we now know that if you need a curse, Angela's your gal.
"When did hotels get this expensive?" "Oh, that's pretty good." "Seriously?" "Yeah, I mean, it's a nice hotel."
First off, Lucy is doing all the planning for any trips they take once they get their act together. Second, this kinda hurts. It drives home how long it's been since Tim's taken a romantic vacation.
We know that Tim remained faithful to Isabelle while she was missing. We know that they were together for a long time. But when did they stop going on vacation together? How long has it been?
Tim, you deserve to go on more romantic vacations... but not with Baywatch Reject, okay?
"Oh, you're going to Hawaii. Congratulations on your engagement." "Ah, told you." "I'm not getting engaged!" "Does your girlfriend know that?" "Yes. It's not an issue."
Annnnddd... another voice echoing the romantic vibe of Hawaii that lends to the expectation of engagement. I was rolling!
"Looks like you won't be the only one getting married." "What?" "Nothing. Ignore her."
I love the look that Angela and Lucy exchange, here. Much as there have to be bets rolling around about Chenford, I'm sure there are other bets, gossip, and secrets in that station.
Angela knows Tim better than most, but even she knows that Lucy could be onto something she's not. When this all started, Tim and Lucy had to hear about each other through the rest of the Station.
Now, they've got one another on speed dial and are the first to know what's going on with the other. So... maybe Tim is proposing.
"Ashley can't possibly think I'm proposing." "Why not? I mean, you're of a certain age-"
Tim's face on that had me rolling. We can estimate he's about 10-12 years older than Lucy. And that reaction was priceless.
"She is in her prime. I mean, on paper, it's, it's like a no-brainer. Okay, be honest. Can you see yourself married to her?"
He can't. We can see in his face right there that he really can't. And as the wheels are turning, something pops into his mind that sets him on edge. He glances over at Lucy and he nearly gulps.
Now, I can't tell you what he saw. I'm a Meta writer, not the show Writer or the actor. I can postulate all I like, but I don't know the answer here. But my guess? If he thinks of the future and being married again... he sees Lucy.
Because the person for him isn't the person he's dating. I truly believe he started this relationship with Ashley as a way to distance himself from his growing feelings for Lucy. He's burying them deep down, the same way he did his trauma with his father. And like his father, it's going to take an external force to bring it all to a head.
Lucy is trying to get Tim to talk this out, the way that she talks things out. But we can feel the edge to everything, here. She's not yet fully aware of what she feels, but it's there.
It's dripping in her hesitancy at first asking him if he's proposing, in her nervousness at his response to this question. Because if he's that serious about Ashley, there will never be room for them.
And as Lucy waits for her answer, Tim realizes he can't say the truth. So, he lies.
"Yeah. I can."
The cameras purposefully focus on Lucy, here. On her disappointment. On her sadness. Because, she's not ready to admit it, but she's falling for Tim.
Yes, she is with Chris for the same reason Tim is with Ashley. They both think the other isn’t an option (though for different reasons, at this point). They're both deflecting because they can't get hung up on something that'll never happen.
It's admirable, in a way. They're trying to be happy for the other person while hoping they'll pretend themselves into believing they're happy, too.
"I'm not expecting a proposal. I would say no if you asked."
Proving that everyone got into Tim's head, he addresses the issue with Ashley directly. But I don't think he expected this. Tim isn't ready to face his feelings for Lucy, but having this door shut is unexpected.
"I have no interest in every being married or having kids. I'm just not wired that way."
First of all, there is nothing wrong with being this way. Nothing at all. Some of my closest friends never wanted to be married or have kids, and as we near 40, they've stuck to that and are quite happy.
But there is something wrong with Tim being with someone like that. Because he wants the wife and kids.
Tim didn't have the stability of a safe and loving home, and he wants so badly to break the cycle and pass on a different legacy to his own kids.
Tim spots Lucy watching from the window, and he decides to turn the situation on his head. He's been stressed the eff out all day worrying about this. Now that he knows Ashley has zero interest in marriage, he has to have some fun.
Lucy's Heart Breaks
I don't think she knows until this moment just how deep it is, how she feels about Tim. She's known for a while that something was there—something that could never be.
But watching through the glass as he gets engaged to someone else... it hits so hard she can't ignore it. She can't pretend it away. She can't bounce back.
I've seen people say this is the moment for her—the moment she realizes she's falling for Tim. I go back and forth on it. Because she's known for a long time that she has a thing for Tim.
We saw back in 4x01 that she was totally ready to sleep with him. And while Lucy's confident in her sexuality, she doesn't sleep with just anyone. We know she doesn't do one night stands. She has her standards and sticks to them.
Even earlier in this episode, she can't be completely oblivious to how she feels when he says he can see himself marrying Ashley. No, I'd argue that Lucy has known since 4x01 that there was something there.
Is this a point of no return for her in terms of pretending? Yeah, I can go with that. Because in this moment, she can't shake it loose, and she can't move on. Tim is engaged and she's heartbroken, and they were never even really a thing, right?
So, is this the moment she realizes she has feelings for him? No. I think 4x01 sealed that up because she knew she was willing to sleep with him that night. But, is this the point of no return in terms of pretending not to have said feelings? Yeah, I can roll with that.
Chris approaches, and she keeps looking back at the parking lot, because that's where her mind is stuck.
"It's a good thing you didn't come because my mom, she drove me crazy."
Lucy offers a half-laugh. But she's visibly upset. She's so distracted that even Chris, Mr-Hums-THE-Song-And-Can't-Read-A-Room picks up on it.
"What's wrong?" "Nothing. I-"
Her phone goes off to the "GOT YOU!" message and now she's pissed. Because she's now had to deal with a slew of emotions striking her all at once, only to find out it was a joke.
"Could you just wait here. I need to go find Lopez and figure out how to put a curse on someone." "Yeah, right. Oh, you're serious."
"Serious as a heart attack", as they say. Tim screwed with her emotions, and she's pissed.
Day in the Hole
AKA "Finding Your New Favorite Flavor"
"Come on. We gotta get to work." "She'll be here." "Seriously, we gotta go." "She'll be here."
Mom and Dad waiting for their daughter to show up. Come on, you see it, too! Tim's back from his vacation with the Land of Sand, and we've thankfully left Lucy's jump-scare behind us.
Hopefully the curse doesn't work too well because Lucy might want things to not fall off in the future, if you know what I mean.
Lucy is applauding like a proud mother as Tamara nearly kills a couple people. Tim's glaring like a slightly-annoyed father. I love this family.
"My car was your first car." "I mean, if we're including cars I've stolen, this is probably like my fifth." "What?" "Joke!"
Yeah, you can't joke like that around your step-dad. Tim's a bit of a hard-ass, if you hadn't noticed.
"You are gonna take it to the mechanic though, right? You never know what these cars have been through." "Yeah, Tim set me up with his guy." "What, you did?" "Yeah." "Oh, you have a heart after all."
Mom and Dad... you're flirting in front of the kid. Like, Tamara's not the kind to go "ew", but, still. You might want to chill out considering you're still dating other people.
"Relax, ok? It was purely self-interest. You would be a total drag to ride with if she died in a fireball of mangled metal on the 405."
Did you hear how Lucy gave him that motherly "tsk" in the middle of this!? I've heard it a few times since in Season 5, but this is the first time I can remember it really standing out to me in previous seasons.
"Joke!"
Not your best first attempt at a dad joke, Timothy, but since it's you, we'll let it stand.
"Previous owner of your car is Jake Butler."
Can I say I love how Tamara kept picking things up off the desk (like a kid) and Lucy played the mother role by wordlessly taking each thing away all while continuing her work? Lucy is such a natural mom!
"Let's take a look at his mugshot... But." "What? What the what?!"
This next shot is GENIUS. I have no idea who came up with this (writer/director, etc), but it's genius. We go from the two shot of them looking at the monitor to a shot of Tim approaching.
He sees something that stops him in his tracks... and then we get to see it, too.
Half the station's gathered around Lucy's monitor. And each actor is giving an amazing performance, here. I've paused and played a million times to appreciate each one. Do it. You won't be sorry.
"What's going on?"
Cue everyone looking at Tim. Except Lucy. She's about a beat behind everyone else, which draws my eye to her, every time. And the music bumps up to give us an auditory transition.
"It's even more uncanny in real life."
Through a combination of swift transitions, body doubles, and Eric Winter being in two different positions, we get the treat of meeting... Jake Butler. Tim's doppleganger.
Come on, how much fun must this have been for Eric Winter to get to play this kind of character after playing Tim for so long? And my husband especially appreciated Jake's pot belly.
Yes, while he hasn't seen this show, Matthew is fairly well-versed in Chenford and my appreciation for Melissa O'Neil and Eric Winter as performers.
We get a bit of split screen at the end (throwing me back to my Parent Trap obsession as a kid... yes the one with Haley Mills. I'm old). And I'm frankly excited at all the different techniques in use for this episode when one actor has to be two characters simultaneously.
"He really doesn't look that much like me." "The hell he doesn't." "Not the brightest bulb, though." "Oh. Oh my god. It's Tim and Dim."
The ladies get a chuckle out of that, but Tim's nonplussed.
"Yo. This is blowing my mind. It's like we're looking in a fun-house mirror of handsome." "Sit down Dim... Jake."
I died laughing the first time I saw this. Lucy really got into his head on that one. But, knowing how easily Lucy can get into his head these days, it's no surprise.
"Have we met before?" "No. That I'd remember." "Oh, you would."
Even Tim's doppleganger is flirting with his girl! Yes, I've seen the episode and know that Dim should know why Lucy looks familiar. But it's funnier this way and just plays into what a dumbass Dim is.
"You just wanna see me pretend to be Dim." "Duh." "Fine. I'll do it." "Yes! Okay, okay."
Lucy is so excited she puts both hands on Tim to stop him in his tracks as he's walking.
"So, uh, we gotta dirty you up. And then we have to slick back your hair, because, you know, that guy was, like, kinda greasy." "You are enjoying this way too much." "Oh, and tattoos! We gotta get tattoos."
Lucy, Tim Bradford isn't your Ken doll. As much as we all know you'd like to practice dressing (okay... undressing) him.
"Rescue 1 status?" "Rescue 1. We're ready in 60 seconds."
How much do I love that Lucy is heading the team to protect her man? There's no way she's going to let anyone hurt Tim, but it also gives us the chance to see some worried Lucy.
Tim's been worried about Lucy going undercover so many times, but we've not really seen her worried before. The hit man UC before was fairly safe. He wasn't in any real danger.
This is different. This is a criminal on his turf with a long drop and plenty of armed guns standing by. Lucy's worried for her man.
"Get ready to breach." "If anyone lays a hand on our UC, you put them down."
Let's be real. Lucy and Angela are two of the most important people in Tim's life at work and outside of it. And here they are getting to be his guardian angels—his wife and his best friend. I love it.
"So, I had Dim's girlfriend picked up." "Okay. Why are you being weird?" "It's easier to show you."
We need Sava to know who is going to go undercover with Tim, right? As if things weren't weird enough with Tim's doppleganger, now we've got Lucy's.
Tim is inside and already waiting for her reaction. Now he gets some payback for how much she was ragging on him and his doppleganger. Tim's smiling like an idiot.
"Guess we know who's going undercover with Dim." "Yeah, Juicy." "No." "That's Juicy." "I don't like that."
Our babies get to go undercover as a couple! They spend so much bloody time trying to run from how they feel, and now they've gotta cozy up to one another and play boyfriend/girlfriend? Sign me up! I'm so ready to see this.
We know both of them are capable in the field, though Lucy's a little more natural on the fly. But getting to see them together's gonna be fire, right?
"If we're gonna make this work, our backstory's gotta be airtight."
Oh, Lucy, honey. I didn't mean actual fire. You've lit enough candles to send a beacon to all of LA more powerful than the Bat Signal.
Lucy brings Tim a beer. And while they've shared drinks before and he's been in her apartment before, I find this particular combination so very domestic. They're brainstorming on the couch instead of at the counter, and I think all of this ambiance shows how relaxed they are around one another.
But also that Lucy's a tiny bit horny. Look, we know she's in a committed relationship with Curried Goat Boy, but subconsciously Lucy has lit a hundred candles because she wants Tim Bradford.
Now, Lucy's not a cheating person. We know this (and I go into more depth in 5x01 Meta and beyond). But, some part of her is subconsciously excited to have Tim in her home and wants the ambiance to be just right.
"Agreed. So, um, how did Dim and Juicy meet." "At a barbecue." "That's lame."
Also, are there barbecues out in LA? Like, real barbecues where you smoke meat for hours at a time? Or is Tim talking about a cook out? They really are two different things... I'm from the South, so we're kinda weird about that.
Plus, when Tim first said it, I said, "Lame." So, I take a small bit of pride in being on the same page with Lucy on this one!
"Really? You think you can do better." "Watch me! Okay, so, um, you were on the run from the cops. A bank robbery gone wrong. You ended up in my building, frantic, looking for a place to hide. And I opened the door for you. I lied to the cops for you. And, ooh, and it got me so hot that we hooked up while they were still searching the building."
Tim's mouth has fallen so far open that we're halfway to his O face.
He's imagining every bit of that. Because, after all, he remembers better when he listens, right? And Lucy just took him through one heck of a journey that will be burned into his brain for a long time.
He's imagining every bit of it... especially that last part.
It takes a second for him to recover.
"Okay. That's, that's, that's pretty good, actually." "Thank you." "Mmhmm." *giggle*
His brain's moving, now, and he's overthinking. Because, what bad guy will ever say, "Kiss your girlfriend or I'll pop a cap in your ass!"?
Also, I love Lucy's giggle. There's an episode in Season 5 where I discuss it extensively, but I love how it makes an appearance, here, considering where this scene is headed.
"So, look, we, we should, we should probably, you know, talk about the elephant in the room." "Hmm?" "You know, if we're gonna sell that we are, you know, actually boyfriend and girlfriend, then we might have to, uh, you know?"
And Lucy does know. But she's having a lot of fun fucking around with Tim. Come on, the girl is so repressed in her feelings for him that she's never gotten to really poke at him this way. And she is loving it.
"Have to, have to what?" "We might have to, to." "Okay, okay. We might have to PDA?" "You know what, forget it." "No, no! Okay, you're right."
Lucy nearly touches Tim's hand before he moves it. They're still very careful about being physical with one another, partly because of the boundaries of their job, but also the personal boundaries they've set with one another.
Remember what I said in 4x01 about proximity making it harder to deny what they feel. They're sitting as far away from each other on the couch as they can, as it is.
"Yeah, you're right. I mean, if we're gonna, if we're gonna have to kiss it probably shouldn't be for the first time." "That's what I'm saying." "Right, yeah."
Because the baddies need to see you kissing, right? Like, isn't that what everyone does when they're engaged in criminal activity? Stop to make out?
Maybe James Bond does, sure, but actual baddies?
Whatever. I wanna see them kiss as much as the rest of you. So, let's see if they can get through the initial awkwardness to get the job done.
"Should we maybe, uh, should we stand?"
It cracks me up that this is so awkward for them. Just a few months earlier (show time) these two were considering the horizontal mambo in his bed, and now they can't even figure out how to get through one kiss.
When Tim makes the kissy face and she runs away, it cracks me up so much. I mean, nobody really kisses like that, first of all, and I'd probably die laughing, too.
Fishy face Tim is not his best look.
"We're professionals. Let's just get this done with." "Woah. Well that's romantic." "I'm not trying to be romantic." "Well, you're succeeding."
Tim and Lucy. Never change. Y'all are making me die laughing when normally I can't stand awkward scenes. But Tim and Lucy can be this frank with one another because neither thinks the other is an option.
Truly, that's what gives them all this freedom. They think the other person has zero interest. They each think it's all in their head. So, they can treat this little moment as something totally bizarre that they have to do for work.
Tim gives Lucy the most chaste-wouldn't-offend-my-Spanish-Catholic-grandmother kiss in the world. And he looks so damn proud of that tiny peck, too!
Lucy echoes all of our thoughts.
"I'm sorry. Is that it?" "You know what, if you're gonna criticize-"
Tired of talking, Lucy pulls him in with both her hands on his face. Their lips meet, and as soon as they do, Tim's hands instinctively go to her arms.
The kiss deepens as the camera shift around them, both of them leaning into one another as Lucy's right hand falls from Tim's face.
Their lips part briefly, the hint of a smile on Tim's lips as his hand settles on her shoulder. Lucy's left hand falls from his face.
This pause could have been the end of it. The second their lips parted, they had done the assignment. Case closed. Kiss achieved. Move on to the next thing.
But Tim and Lucy don't want to stop. Now that they're finally here, both of them want to keep going. Tim has her in his arms. She has her hands on his chest.
In this moment, they've forgotten the assignment. They've forgotten Chris and Ashley. This is the definition of "getting lost in the moment". Tim and Lucy are the moment.
Tim is a touching-foreheads kisser and a top-lip-lover. He goes for hers just as the door behind them opens.
You've. Been. Caught.
Lucy distances herself from Tim by pushing off of him with her hands. His left hand drops from her am as he literally runs to the wall to put distance between them.
"I should probably go."
I love Tamara. Like, she's not judging them in this moment, and she has absolutely no idea what is happening. But, she has to know that there's something between them just waiting to be unlocked.
"No. This is work. This is work."
Lucy spat it out the first time, but she says it again because, well, it's true. And she needs a way to explain this away. Not just to Tamara, but to herself.
"Yeah, yeah, we're, we're going undercover." "Hey, it's cool. I mean, you don't have to explain yourself. I should probably go." "No!" "No, I, I was just about to leave. You know what? No, I don't have anything."
Cackling. Dying. ROLLING the first time I heard that. Tim Bradford is so flustered he can't even remember if he brought anything in with him. And what would he be looking for, exactly? A file? Paperwork?
"I'll see you tomorrow." "Good work tonight. Ay."
Lucy. Chen. Did you really just say that? Even she can't believe she said that. But Tim is too flustered to call her out on it.
"Great work, as well. Bye."
Tim high-tails it out of there so fast. And Lucy lets him go. But why?
Because they both know what just happened wasn't some fluke. They both wanted it. They both felt it. And neither knows what would have happened if they hadn't been interrupted, but both knows that because they were... it's awkward.
Like, they could barely talk about having to kiss. How are they going to talk about the fact that it felt... real?
"I'm gonna go to my room." "Yeah, me, too."
Lucy can't talk about this. Tamara just walked in on her kissing a man who isn't the man she's dating. Not just thin-lipped kissing. We're talking mouths open, bodies touching, hunger growing kind of kissing. And it was with her boss.
And who is outside reeling? Tim Bradford. I love that the writers/director gave us this space to see how Tim feels. Because it would be so easy to dismiss this as a one-sided thing where the subordinate falls for her boss.
But Tim Bradford's been on his way down for a long time. He's been able to push it down, repeatedly. Even last episode when picturing his wife, he had to push Lucy down. I firmly believe it.
But tonight he kissed Lucy Chen. And she kissed back.
I used to think this was his moment of realization, but the more I've rewatched the episodes, I still think 4x01 was a huge revelatory moment for both of them that they've been pushing down and ignoring ever since. They never discussed it and they're both running from it.
This is the episode that makes it so much harder for Tim to run. He's been completely convinced his feelings were one-sided. But this is a hint to him that, maybe, he's wrong. Maybe, just maybe, she feels it, too.
Because she wasn't kissing him like a platonic coworker. She was breathing into him as much as he was breathing into her.
She didn't want to stop anymore than he did, and when Tamara walked in, they were both flustered. She felt it, too.
Yes, Tim's reeling from how he feels because he was smacked in the face with feels tonight. But he's also reeling from the fact that freaking Lucy Chen kissed him back.
"Hey." "Hey."
He was waiting for her. He's been thinking about this since last night, as has she. And he wants to talk to her before they head in.
"Listen, about-" "We should probably-" "Go ahead." "No, you go first." "You sure?" "Mmhmm." "Uh, okay. I just wanted to say..."
His eyes are so soft, here. Look at him. He's more of a show guy, but he's trying to find his words. And Lucy Chen's looking at him so expectantly.
And he chickens out.
"We need more work on our backstory. Give it more depth. Key moments. You know?" "Yeah, we, uh, we could take the morning, you know, while we're waiting for Hajick to call." "Great." "Great."
Look, obviously it's the Season 4 finale and they needed to drag this out more. But there are also a host of obstacles between Tim and Lucy, and he's not entirely sure of how he feels.
Having the night to think has also lead to time for him to doubt. He's doubting his own memories. Maybe it was the beer. Maybe the adrenaline. Maybe it meant something to him and nothing to her.
So, he chickens out. But Lucy doesn't know that. All she knows is that Tim wanted to talk to her, but it wasn't what she'd hoped to hear... so she shoves her feeling back down.
They're both in a point of mad denial. But, I think this episode was a turning point for them because it marks the end of them being able to pretend with themselves.
Yes, they'll still pretend with one another because they care so much about each other that they want the other to be happy, no matter what.
But, within their hearts both Tim and Lucy know there's something there that cannot be ignored any longer. Tim longs for Lucy. Lucy yearns for Tim. And until they start actually talking about all this, that's where they'll stay.
As always, thank you for reading! Please keep the requests coming! It rained all day, the kids had a rainy-weather fun day indoors, Matt has a cold, and I'm still nursing the back thing. So, writing this was a great distraction.
I really appreciate y'all reading and going on this journey with me. Next one'll likely be for Tuesday night's fresh airing of 5x13. But I'll try to get to more requests on the flipside! Stay safe out there.

This post contains SO MANY SPOILERS for the final mob psycho ep so pls scroll past immediately if you somehow found this and haven't watched the end yet!!!! I watched the episode as soon as it came out but then it was late and I had to go to sleep afterwards so I couldn't spew my thoughts out immediately,,
Tumblr media
[ID: Screenshot of Mob laughing from the show. End ID]
JESUS CHRIST WHAT A SHOW. I thought I'd be bawling by the end but I actually wasn't because I was so happy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they dealt with Reigen and Mob. These two have had the best character arcs I've ever seen in any type of media. It's just beautiful. You can feel their growth and it's genuinely so real and heartwarming. As someone who mainly fell in love with the show because of how much I relate to Mob's struggle with himself, it feels like the show is reaching out and giving me a warm hug and telling me that it's okay to feel this way, that I'll figure it out eventually. Mob's acceptance of himself at the end was so, so lovely!! All I feel when I think about the episode is warm colors and comfort and this feeling in my chest that I can be content with myself too, given enough time.
And REIGEN!! My GOD what they did with him was STAGGERING they took such a despicable type of character and turned him into almost a role model, someone with such good intentions that people were happy the show ended with him sharing the spotlight. Reigen isn't perfect in any way and I LOVE that. Usually writers feel this need to make their characters as "good" as possible in order to inspire people, but it ends up creating the opposite effect because then you've got this character that is the epitome of good deeds and character which almost puts pressure on the readers to be and act a certain way. With Reigen, however, they preserved his "other side" along with the things that made us love him, making him even more loveable in the process and getting the message across that it's alright if you have flaws!! Everyone has them!!
And the actual episode itself. I CANNOT describe the feelings I felt when 99 started playing as Reigen struggled to get to Mob. My jaw fucking dropped and I had to physically put a hand over my mouth to stop myself from screaming. The amount of effort Reigen made to get to Mob didn't just touch my heart, it ripped it out of my chest and threw it at the opposite wall. The episode managed to show just how much Reigen loves Mob beautifully. Even with Serizawa warning Reigen it would be dangerous, even with Reigen himself getting thrown back about five hundred times, he knew he HAD to get to Mob and confess. And when he started crying… I almost thought the creators wouldn't let him cry because of what happened in S2 Ep7, but they DID and it was one of the best feelings ever. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly enjoy characters crying out of sadness, but as someone who has played Ace Attorney a LOT and as someone who has been obsessed with that franchise for two years it would often get me how the writers wouldn't let any of the characters show pure emotion and that feeling just stuck with me I guess. It could be that crying shows a character's vulnerabilities and makes them more "exposed" but hey, I can barely understand what I want to say, much less put it into words lol. The "grand speech" Reigen gave Mob while confessing was far from grand or perfect and that just made it feel so much more real and natural. GOD i love this show
Also Dimple. Dimple Dimple Dimple I love Dimple SO MUCH like AGAIN I can't believe the writers took someone like Dimple and made him THIS. The Divine Tree Arc gave him so much character,, Mob really does bring out the best in everyone huh. Dude just CANNOT fuck off and be obliterated he HAS to come back to make us all love him even more.
And then after Mob and his powers accepted each other and went to talk to Tsubomi (by the way what the FUCK tsubomi!!! how did you stay in that park all that time holy shit!!! you have no fear!), when Mob came back out and said she rejected him with a soft smile… it felt so natural. I knew that the writers wouldn't pull one of the dumbest moves ever and make Tsubomi accept his confession (just like they didn't give reigen psychic powers in the end like bro my heart almost stopped when reigen said he'd been "working out" because i didn't want him to magically get psychic powers but i was so glad that reigen managed to resist mob's powers because he was dimple LMAO). I wanted to give Mob a hug so badly when he started crying and then Reigen started giving him the most dad reassurance ever which made me want to hug them both and then the scene showed all three of them walking off together which made me want to hug everyone. ALTHOUGH I WILL SAY I WAS MAD NO ONE HUGGED ANYONE,,, PLS I JUST WANTED TO SEE REIGEN AND MOB HUGGING EACH OTHER THEY DESERVE ALL THE HUGS
Now for the small details,, Serizawa! Calling! Reigen! As soon as possible! To make sure he was okay! Reigen sounding so happy while talking about working to rebuild the city with Serizawa! Teru's new haircut! Teru asking Mob to go shopping with him again! Mob actually loving the shirt Teru picked out for him! Mob being the new vice captain of the body improvement club! Inukawa's alien eyes! TOME IN THE OFFICE! TOME IS IN HIGH SCHOOL! Serizawa starting to feel more comfortable while talking to people! Everyone getting together to throw Reigen a surprise party! Reigen almost crying! Serizawa catching the cake with his powers at the last moment! Serizawa's laughter while he reached out to Reigen with a towel to clean his face! Tome being all "AW i wanted to see you cry smh" their dynamic ahhh (I can't remember if it was her or dimple but! lmao whatever!)! MOB LAUGHING SO FREELY IN THE END HSJAHKFJHDJHKJ I'M ON THE FLOOR. I'M DECEASED.
I am in love with everything this show has to offer.

Hehe what do you think of Season 4 Lmk?
Though I haven't watch it yet but I will watch it when there's English subtitle but If you haved already watch it what do you think? :D
I feel safe answering this now without spoiling anyone.
I really enjoyed Season 4 of LMK, like if you asked me who stole the show, I would not be able to point out just one person or pair.
I even wanna give a shout out the accounting demon, who showed off her badass side protecting Yin and Gin (I swear she’s gotta be their sister, or cousin or some kind of family member cause I can’t imagine her protecting them like that other wise. I also can’t see her being hired help either since Yin and Gin always give this kind of broke as a side walk vibe.)
MK and Monkey, these two balls of sunshine just swell my heart with so much emotions during all their shared screen time.
MK and Mei are the best lovable, supportive, goofballs around.
MK and Macaque with baby monkey had me happy flapping so much. I love how even though Macaque is on the ‘good side’ he hasn’t become goodie goodie, but still tries to help in his own ways, and even became; dare I say, comforting when he saw MK flickering between forms.
Pigsy and Tang not only get great arch’s as individuals this season, but as a pair as well. Season 3 we got to see them really supporting one another but this season showed us how deep these two are dedicated to each other. Label their relationship however you want to, but no one can deny that Pigsy and Tang care a lot about each other (and their shared love of food).
All the interactions between Past Macaque and Wukong have me crying in the corner, both in joy and in sadness.
I would say the only person out of the main cast that got the short end of the stick would be Sandy. I love Sandy but this season didn’t really let him have a chance to shine. Even the ep with past Sandy, was more about Pigsy’s development and character growth then it had to do with Sandy’s. Outside of creating a blimp for the team to travel on, Mo did more than Sandy.
Mo not only hid Tang from the remaining Brotherhood group/ thus showing Tang Azure’s true intentions but was also the one that triggered Sandy’s memories to come back. Now let that sink in… MO the CAT who I swear has Sans from Undertales transportation abilities, had more of an impact on the plot than SANDY.
Even the small cameo that the Demon Bull Family had was a lot more impactful not only to the plot but emotionally impactful as well. Like DBK is such a disastrous Bi, that loves those who can step on him. Getting to see the beginning of PIF and DBK’s romance was a treat that I’m so glad was given to us. I think PIF only had one line this whole season, but that soft loving and fearful worry as she says ‘my love’ hit me in the feels so hard. SHE ONLY HAD ONE LINE BUT THIS QUEEN MADE IT COUNT FOR SO MUCH! Then poor Red Son not only had to watch both his parents get ripped away (AGAIN!!!!) I would say he got the most horrifying sucked into the scroll scene out of anyone this season. Azure really did not hold back on his hate for BDK’s and PIF’s Son. I say this, as I’m 90% sure Azure’s hate towards Red Son is more about Red Son being a product of BDK’s and PIF’s union than about Red Son personally. (So glad the bull family was part of the beach scene at the end of the S4 special, they needed this Vacation Day just as much as he main cast. Like can we go at least one season without tearing down/apart this family that’s trying to recover from not only their individual trauma but their group trauma as well? Please!)
Also it was just so cool seeing Red and Nezha standing side by side, readying themselves for the battle to come. (Not quite as cool as the shot of Red standing side by side with Macaque, but a close second.) I have feelings and theories revolving around Nezha and this season that I will save for a later post.
Inky, or Ink MK was such a delightful addition to the antagonist group, with so much potential and versatility, that I’m hoping we see a return of them in some form or another in the coming season.
Peng was is such a fun, bitchy love to hate you character that really made the most out of every single frame they were in.
Tusk is a little harder, he really didn’t get much time to show his personality till the special. (Outside of the fact that he likes to give big hugs <3). Thankfully the special did give use a better look at Tusk, and show off not only his more reasonable side, but how deeply he cares about his friends, even after he was captured he doesn’t regret him and his friends intentions. But I feel sorry for the big guy as I feel he must be feeling retry lost now that’s Azures gone and Peng seemingly abandoned them. I bet poor Tusk didn’t put up much of a fight when he was captured, cause he probably doesn’t even know what to do with himself now that all he values so dearly is gone.
Now for Azure, sweet heaven and hell, Azure Lion. I…. I am not normal about him. I haven’t been this not normal for an LMK character since Possessed Wukong, and anyone who fallows me knows how that turned out. I’ll probably do a post just in dedication of Azure, because that lion boy has got me feeling so many feelings, but right now I am still not okay from his ending so please send Azure fanfic suggestions, to help aid in my recovery.

Friday Night
There is no better feeling. Although now that my routine is working at home Fridays and Mondays, does it detract from the Friday feeling?? Maybe, but only in the sense that ALL DAY Friday is the Friday feeling, maybe it even starts a bit on Thursdays now. And the Sunday feeling that the week is about the start isn't there either. This all sounds very bizarre to me, as if it almost shouldn't be allowed. Work now isn't a "thing". It's fun, it's easy, it's nice. People are great, why has it taken so long to get to this point.
October
My favourite month of the year, I absolutely love it. The leaves are beginning to turn now, I have some good autumn trees in my garden, though they have been on the turn since early August probably due to a lack of watering. My pear tree delivered some beautiful pears, the apples are a bit small but I'll have to give them a go this weekend. There is a lovely crispness to the temperature in the morning - the BIG COAT is already down from the attic and getting worn.
Business news
Fairly quiet on the Warrington Weed Killer side of things, as to be expected. I'd like to see some more interest as we head into the spring, otherwise I'll have to assess whether the name change has been successful, or have a play around with a few things. I'm not sure really. Where is the balance? The other company was too popular really, too many calls, things I couldn't do, I got overwhelmed. But I'm learning and that was a lesson for sure. I've never been so confident in my product though. A full landscaping/renovation job in the back is due this month too, I really hope I get a chance to do it.
TV/Film
I really enjoyed watching terrestrial TV last week, I think this is as a result of less screen time, which is a huge result. Aimlessly watching TV is a pre-internet thing, so any behaviours that can replicate those days is a definite win. I do want to get back into some programmes though. Hacks is a really good comedy I've been enjoying, and I've been watching a good wrestling documentary too. The sports docs are ones I'm waiting for too, I want to hit the big ones.
Music
Friday night would usually be my music night. I fucked myself over last Friday though as I got too caught up and was like a zombie for the rest of the weekend through lack of sleep. I may have a little listen this evening but I'll keep it fairly brief. The key is not to have a plan and let the vibes guide you down whichever path you go on.
Wellbeing
The screen time thing has been a welcome addition, and not to constrained really. If anything, it's just wiped out all the shit I wasn't actually enjoying, like those stupid videos on Instagram and Facebook, scroll, scroll, scroll. Now I still look at twitter (unfortunately) but it is essential for my news cycle, though finding a new Nitter is massively welcome, let's hope this one sticks around. I haven't missed a gym day since I started my routine. I've been trying to refine what I do and thinking back to the Results INC days in Sale when I was fully engaged in it. That was a great gym and a lovely little community. They were my friends and it was a great time for me, personally. Bodywork and then upper body is how I want to do it. Being able to go in the day time during the week is the game changer here.
The week(s) ahead...
I want to get out more with the kids, national trust sites or just local walks, this is the best time to do it. I want to photograph more of it as well and dump it on Instagram. I still think that app has a place for keeping photos that you want to share with people, and even just as a way of documenting shifts in time. I've got it in my head that I want to make a Pumpkin Pie, an autumnal treat in America. Not using actual pumpkin though, there's a different recipe using tinned pumpkin (probably sweetened) and then double cream etc. Pretty much a cheesecake, but it's orange, that's the main thing. My Xmas EP needs to start shaping up, though if needs be it'll be a lock in with a bottle of rum/whiskey some point in December and just recording whatever comes out. Maybe that will be more fun. Anyway, the project this very much interests me.

TW: MENTIONS OF SA; GROOMING. PLEASE SCROLL IF THAT MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE.
I wanted to share my takes on the Pod Meets World ep and the new Quiet on Set documentary that is out. This is going to be a long-winded blog post. I'll put a keep reading divider up so that no one will be bombarded while scrolling through their dash. I'd like to have a civil, adult conversation about this so if you decide to join in, please keep it mature.
In light of recent events with the whole Pod Meets World episode and the Quiet on the Set documentary coming out, it really opened my eyes more. I think a lot of fans have parasocial relationships with these stars, holding them on a pedestal, and forgetting that they are still real human beings who are prone to doing shitty human things. This is a reminder for me too. This is something I definitely need to break out of. And I'm mentioning this because it really did hurt to hear Drake Bell's story and how he really didn't get an apology. If what he said was true about Will and Rider only coming out with their episode after being notified about the documentary, then they deserve all the heat that they get. At first, I commended them for telling their stories on that creep Brian Peck and discussing their feelings during the court case. But now it seems disingenuous. I haven't gotten to watch the documentary aside from tidbits because I don't have a streaming service that I could watch it on, unless it comes on cable. And I haven't gotten to see the full Pod Meets World episode apart from the clips of Will talking so I plan on catching up and educating myself as much as I can. The guys apparently weren't told what was going on in the case and were blindsided by this. In no way am I doubting that they were groomed as well. But Drake mentioned that they were told everything by Peck before they wrote the letters and still decided to write them. That's insane in itself. As a CSA survivor and someone who was groomed and sexually harassed by an older "friend", it was disheartening to hear that my favorite actors were pretty much complicit and trying to save themselves when they realized their dirty work was being unsealed. And I didn't want to believe it when I read more on the info last night but it served me a reminder that these were real people outside of the characters. Obviously I know that, but Boy Meets World is one of my comfort shows and obsessions so it hurt to hear that. Although I enjoy the characters, I have to keep reminding myself not to get attached to the actors and actresses who play them. I brought the parasocial relationship thing up because that's what it felt like was radiating from the BMW reddit forum as well. Some of the people there were up in arms to defend them, saying "It was a different time period. They were told that Drake was coming on to Peck." DOES THAT NOT SOUND INSANE?? I’m pretty sure that they were told Drake was underaged, I can't remember too much from the podcast clips. If they knew, how did they not question it more before coming to court and writing the letters?? Not to mention that other people were reached out to write a letter for Brian and many declined. Were they already told about the case?? Were they only given small details just like Will and Rider?? My guess is that they already sensed how weird Peck was and got a bad feeling from his request. I would've thought that Will and Rider would have more common sense in something like this. But again, I don't know these people personally. None of their fans do.
And I will repeat once again, I'm not invalidating the guys' experience with Peck either. I wouldn't put it past Hollywood that the cast of BMW were all groomed and violated when they were younger too. The adults could've even been violated just as easily as well. From the clips that I've seen of Will talking about Peck, he seemed very genuine and remorseful. I’m sure that they were regretful. It's just that after hearing what Drake said about them not apologizing and them making the episode after the doc announcement, it feels off. Will admitted that he would like to apologize to Drake personally and Drake apparently isn't interested in an apology. Who can blame him? Would I accept an apology from anyone who stood up for my abuser? I don't think so. And Will had time to reach out to Drake before. Was it embarrassment that stopped him? And Brian could’ve very well lied to them. My own groomer is still walking around lying and gaining support from others.
The best research I could do was from forums, comment sections, and small clips, so please bear with me. I will educate myself more on the matter. But I felt the pain of every child actor that was affected because it reminded me of my own experiences and I'm upset with this new knowledge. We, of course, know what Drake was convicted of. I'm not mentioning that to take away from his trauma nor side with what he's done. But I've seen some people bring up this point at the mention of his experience with Brian Peck, invalidating him being sexually assaulted by this man. Firstly, I think that's absurd. We can still feel sympathy for Drake even if he isn't a good person.
The fact that Dan Schneider and Brian Peck are able to walk free TO THIS FUCKING DAY MAKES ME SICK!!! How the fuck was Peck only given 16 months in jail?????? They would've both been a bag of fucking bones by now underneath the cement of the jail if they hurt my kid. My next question is, what do we do about the child stars who are apart of these companies now? The ones who are still getting deals with Disney and Nickelodeon?? Just because Schneider and Peck were called out doesn't mean that ALL of the pedos under these companies are gone. All of the children affected deserve justice.

Jujutsu Kaisen s2 ep3
Overall I'm enjoying this because it's jjk but I have a few gripes ngl
Scroll away if you might be upset by a less than glowing review
I'm so sorry to these mappa employees and I completely understand why they went with the less detailed look but 😕 idk man
(I'm not bothered by the new style, I loved ep1 and enjoyed ep2 for the most part)
BUT
There's something missing in the weight and impact of the fight scenes. Kuroi and Geto's fight scenes in ep 2 didn't even make sense. Even the blood splatter looks a little lifeless.
There's a reason the more detailed, less "pretty" and a little rigid style worked for jjk. I understand that this season has better animation, background work and composition but there's something off in the feel of it
I also think they could have adapted and arranged this episode a little different from the manga. Like:
Reveal Geto and Gojo's thoughts on the merger and letting Riko go while they watch her at the aquarium
Give us a view of how Gojo sees sorcerers and humans and the CE they have or give off and then show us none coming from Toji to show us his invisiblity. Then have Gojo inner monologue about how that's impossible, but quickly move on to "if that's the case, it must be heavenly restriction allowing him superhuman abilities" or something
(jjk isn't really a hand holding show but some anime onlys haven't heard the term in 3 years, they might not know what he means)
Show Riko thinking about growing up with Kuroi while she's at the aquarium so we don't have 1 relatively silent montage followed by another
Show Geto looking at Kuroi holding back tears or having a trembling lip before she says she can't go any further
Show Gojo using his six eyes to figure out the inverted spear of heaven's ability then just have Toji say the name
Idk, I can't think of anything else rn but in all honesty, the impact of the fights not hitting quite as hard is the most worrying considering there's gonna be non stop action for more than half the season
I understand that with how much needs to be adapted, it wouldn't be practical to do what Sung Hoo Park did in extending and adding to the fights and I might be proven wrong when Gojo v Toji continues
(plus this can and might be addressed in a Blu-ray edition)
But I still think it's a shame that 3 out of the 4 fights so far haven't hit the way others in jjk have. Season 1, imo, put as much weight into even the smaller fights
Idk, maybe I'm just bugging. Don't kill me, I just needed to rant
Tumblr media
(s2 still above and s1 still below)
Someone posted this on twitter and (again I don't dislike the s2 look BUT) I can't deny that there's something special about the aesthetic of s1. Like his eyes don't just have a glow filter look to them, they have the actual sky. I understand and respect that they probably don't have the time to animate that anymore but I'm allowed to say I prefer it
Idk s2 kinda looks like an AI art

Cucumber Day 5 Watching Con's Filmography
(I also listened to a short story he'd been in, scroll down a bit on my page and you'll find it. For everyone who watched this and needs a refresher only on Con, someone finally posted a compilation on youtube. If you haven't seen the series, you'll probably be lost. But I'm sure its a fun out of context watch)
Summary wrote after binging the entire series in one day.
Please, Please, Please go online and check every warning for this show. Not only for the graphic hate crime but see everything they warn about. Protect yourself. This review will discuss sexual topics, nudity, and substance abuse, and age gaps.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
So the show. I think it was fun, not the best tv show, and has some mixed messages, but a fun watch.
I grew up in a household/town where sex wasn't discussed. Especially queer shit. This show is very in-your-face about it and I admire the shit out of it. The friendships felt lived in. The experience of being a young queer 'hunted' by older queers was explored enough to not make Henry a complete hypocrite, sadly. But the focus was always more on Henry, even in the end, Henry still got off on the image of a 20 something during sex.
Fully noting, I did skip scenes. Some things were just a bit much for me, so I took the liberty to save peace and move on. Yet, the show does seem to balance heavy moments with joy and comedy. Hell, during a fucking funeral, some guys need to go check their dicks for hair. And you know what, I feel that if Lance were there, he wouldn't even be suprised.
I loved Freddy. Holy shit, at first, I was worried about how he'd be treated, but by the end, I was rooting for him. Obviously, the guy is just so used to being hunted for his body. This topic was brushed on with the teacher, and not really felt by the plot or the characters around him. I'm happy he felt like he could leave and just grow up as a person. I'm so happy they let the audience see a time jump where everyone turns up okay, and happy.
I'm not a queer man, but I know this shit can resonate. I've seen queer men online discuss these same points. Predatory age gaps, the pressure to be hot, aging, commitment, and communication issues in relationships...This isn't the best show for all that to be taken seriously but I'll leave that discussion to that community.
So Con's character, Cliff, was right about Henry in episode 1, and I fucking love when writers do this shit. "You always did that. Never had affairs, just obsessions." Cause in the context, yes, Henry never cheated. But he never has deep relationships; he has brief obsessions until things get too serious and he needs to move on. Hell, In episode 8, that's the conclusion Henry comes to himself. "Maybe one day I'll come to terms to it...being gay". Cause he wants intimacy but fears men and getting close to people. It's that closeness he struggles with.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The things that bugged me about the series
The entire bit about the boys playing chicken for internet attention. Again, I know this is a thing. But now a days we legitimately have children doing this stuff unknowingly for people online. Or parents unknowingly showing their children on tik tok for millions of people. I know people who were groomed, and avoided it like crazy growing up as a kid online. I cringed every time this plot point was mentioned, feeling like a kid was a second away from getting hurt. It just felt a bit much to touch on for me in this type of show. Again, they tried to have their cake and eat it too by showing Harry get a slap on the wrist, but it just didn't feel like it justified the plot line being there in the first place. Seriously, what did it add to the story besides showing Henry that maybe he should go back home? He could have done so many other things. The only funny bit is when Cliff commented how fucking weird straight people are sometimes.
Cliff says in ep 1 he had a history of going after older men when he was young, and the age gap is boggeling. Again, this could mean he only had a crush on him. But if we're going to bring up how wierd it was, then why is this and the teacher sub plot where minors brought up the only time its mentioned. Like yeah, the teacher-student situation was fucked up. How about the 30 and 40-year-olds going after people in their early 20s. "I'm horrified to discover I have standards." Fun line Cliff, yeah. But they are literally minors. Age gaps and taking advantage of younger queers is a real issue in the queer community. There should 100% be a place to talk about it. But when every 'likable' character does it without issue, then it's still a problem. Hell, this is why Freddy's plot felt so out of left field in ep 8 with Cliff and him fucking before running off. I don't know why he did it, knowing that Cliff wanted him for his body? Or maybe he just wanted comfort after that argument and knew he'd get it by having sex? I genuinely want to know other interpretations. If Freddy felt like this, it would have been more satisfying for Henry to learn his lesson and not use 20-year-old Freddy as wank material for the next 6/7 years. Also, Freddy running away from Cliff with his pants down was just funny.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, wash most of that out of your head!
The fun part that we have all been waiting for-
TALKING ABOUT CLIFF COSTELLO
(Yes, Cliff is kind of a douche early on. Enjoying eyeing Freddy and praising Henry for leaving his boyfriend for a 'young boy toy'. But, as the series goes, it dies down. Cliff, pre-episode 6 was a fun jackass. Post-ep 6 is one of the best characters in the show and the best friend you could ask for.)
I have seen most gifs online for this character. The soft outfits, smoking, suits, smiling. And fucking YET. The three scenes to me that make me love this character are-
"And obviously, I could take a statement. Have a briefcase with me, files and a pen. Because solicitors get searched entering a prison just like everyone else, but I'd still have a pen. Because a pen is all I'd need, really. I think it would take me a second to lean across and insert the pen through his throat. Right here. At the base. Straight through to the spine. (I could do that.) He'd bleed out in seconds. Dead. So... that's what I'll do. With your permission." I need Izzy to do this speech. Please god. In all your infinite wisdom. In this moment, I 100% felt that this lawyer would murder the murderer of his friend in sheer rage with a fucking pen.
Cliff pulling up(no crutches *curtsies with a smile*) to save Henry's ass from saying something stupid to the cops after their place gets ransacked. Stepping in and ensuring Freddy doesn't assault someone in front of cops.
"I look forward to the tribunal because the law is magnificent in this regard. It's not up to us to prove homophobia, it's up to you to prove homophobia does not exist. Best of luck. Thank you." AHHHHHHHH Smarmy, confident, smiling Con, I love it. Maybe the hottest thing Cliff does in this series, the outfit, the glaring before hand, the confidence, and AHHH.
His stand-out moments are when he's being a loyal, caring motherfucker. Trust me, after days of seeing a sad, depressed, miserable Con, seeing him thirsting after men was fun. Seeing him make dick jokes and act like an 'Elder Gay' that protected his own did heal my soul. But there was just a fucking genuine happiness he brought to the role.
I love that, even though he's a character Henry can rely on, Henry would never stay at his flat. (Obviously, cause then the plot wouldn't happen, but I like to think they know they'd both bring out the worst in each other).
Henry uses him for his knowledge of the law when doing cagey shit. It's great. Like getting his job back or doing the whole weird shit mentioned above for extra money. Seeing Cliff doing his best to stay semi-professional and not visibly judge the shit out of Henry for essentially being a soft core pimp is so fucking funny. Also, his 'that's our song' speech, where he goes on about how people steal underground culture, was fun.
The funeral made me respect Cliff, as he knew how to handle the situation. Keeping the situation safe enough in public so that Henry could have his own time to break down.
When Cliff didn't push, let Henry grieve on his own time, it was beautiful. Many of us would have immediately pushed that boundary. Trying to let ourselves feel better by stopping someone else from having destructive emotions. But Cliff knows better. Hell, when Henry is crying we see Cliff tearing up. Showing that Cliff knows to just step back tells us so much about how these two men care for each other.
Now a tiny praise corner about writing an Elder Gay lawyer character-
The sheer joy in Cliff knowing he could use the 'law' to protect queer people. Both for Lance and for getting Henry his job back. If Cliff is as old as Con, he'd have been a lawyer starting in the 1990's. He would have in practice during queer legalization post-thatcher in the UK. There's a good reason he seemed to be the happiest when they got home after getting his job back. He would have been taught Section 28 as a queer man.
'The fight for sexual equality however, was far from over. Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988, introduced by the Conservative Government under Margaret Thatcher, banned local authorities from ‘promoting homosexuality’ or ‘pretended family relationships’, and prohibited councils from funding educational materials and projects perceived to 'promote homosexuality'. The legislation prevented the discussion of LGBT issues and stopped pupils getting the support they needed. Section 28 was repealed in 2003, and Prime Minister David Cameron apologised for the legislation in 2009.'
He went from learning about all that shit as a young lawyer(who fucking survived the AIDS crisis), plus worse, to using ANTI DISCRIMINATION LAW for LGBTQ people! (kinda) So yeah. There's a very good fucking reason why that scene made me pause and stim for the fucking life of me. He was the happiest one when they came home, belting and smiling! So much has changed over his life and AHHH-
(This just hurts knowing this defence is all still legal where I live. And rights are being stripped every day... But hope still exists...yatta yatta.)
The friendship between Cliff and Henry feel so lived in. Burrowed and nestled. Clearly, Cliff has his own sad law show going on in the background and Henry is where he can let his (glorious) hair down.
I think it's funny as shit that when Henry panics and tries to find someone in mind to keep him in the moment sometimes he accidentally imagines Cliff. In a 'I've heard way to much about my friends sex lives so I think I know what it looks like' kind of way.
I also think it's funny that in the two times we see him in time jump to the future (At the table toasting Freddy and in Bed) Cliff is still not entirely gray after 6-7 years (obviously, they didn't think/want to age him up or do makeup just for a gag). However, Icon behavior.
His outfits? I would wear most of them. He is gender and life envy. Again, I think Cliff could have been a character to show how happy some people are without relationships. We get this vibe from him with the whole 'you're not tied down' speech, and I wish that was a concept explored more on TV.
He's the least depressed lawyer character I have seen on TV. If I could be a Cliff Costello type, I would go into law.
I think a good mix of the best parts of Cliff Costello and all of Val Pearson is who I want to be as an 'elder'(again, I turn 21 in January). Confident, loyal, willing to stick up for others, funny as shit. Maybe has a more stable love life than them, and hopefully not any substance addictions, but god. They just have so much joy when you know these characters had to have lived through such shitty times for queer people.
At first, I did this just to explore Con's work. But I think this has all helped me feel some hope for the future. What people need is support and love and a place to exist.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall ratings
Cinematography: 7/10. Fun edits. Fun motifs. Loved the opening, and the sound effects to suggest certain things to the audience was fun.
Story: 6/10. Would be higher but some shit just got stuck in my craw. Again, the show just got better and better as it went and by the end I just felt satisfied. Would be an 8 ish if not for my issues mentioned above.
Characters besides Con: 7/10. Everyone plays really fun parts. Everyone is shitty in their own unique way, and for the most part, they get what they deserve. Even if they haven't really learned their lesson yet (Henry, I swear to god you are on a wire). Satisfying arcs for everyone besides Henry, but that's the point. I'm happy the Collective wheedled out into a more realistic ending where these people could go on and live happy lives and not coddle the man.
Con: 8/10. He is so much fun, and he is having so much fun. I wish he was in it longer, but in every scene, he is in, he eats it up. He goes from serious lawyer to best friend in a flash and it just makes me so happy. Cliff is up there with my favorite performances, some of his actions just kill the vibe a bit for me. Again. Any series where Con smiles is a win. Also, I love that he bodied a character who uses movement aids, and it just made me more excited to see what he'd do with Izzy for S2.
OVERALL: 6-7/10.
Not an easy recommend but could be a fun rewatch when I start losing somd hope about our community, while trying to see the real issues that exist to this day...or see more people online criticize queer people for wanting to have sex.
I would love to know your opinions about Cliff, thoughts about my thoughts, and more below! Have a Lovely day/night, everyone!
Next on the docket: Kisses in the Dark. An 8 ish hour audiobook on Spotify! Seems to be a supernatural horror Staring Con O'Neill and Rhiannon Clements(hopefully not a romance, since, with the person I googled, the age gap is 28 years. It's a bit different with voice acting...but now that I know? eh). I will be listening to that on Saturday (the 17th), and will have my thoughts on that here soon. I've been warned it was recorded during the pandemic at homes. So if you want to join in, prepare yourself for that.
As always, some of you lovelies who suggested/commented on my last few posts! Thank you so much!

!! as someone who watched red dwarf a while back, i was pleasantly surprised to bump into a fan of it while i was scrolling through a whole other blog (you know how tumblr binges go..) i haven't watched it in a while otherwise i'd come up with a more interesting question to ask you, but as it is i'm curious to know what you like about it! not in a judgemental way (sorry it probably sounded that way ahaha) but srsly, what specifically about the characters or the premise or whatever it may be draws you in? (thank you in advance for your answer, i'm sure it'll be delightful to read)
Woah, sorry if this is late I literelly just spotted it in my inbox and somehow missed the notif!
This answer might be disappointing but basically; I was raised on it. My earliest memory and how I learned what Fridays were was knowing "it's Red Dwarf night!" It was the best night because it meant I got to stay up late with my dad and brother and watch this show which would have us all laughing in stitches. I remember me and my dad had a game where I would ask "Why is it called red dwarf?" (Because it was series 6 and the only ship was Starbug) and Dad would say "Because that's the name of the spaceship!", which made no sense to me because Starbug was green, so I'd keep asking and eventually he'd just reply with random things like "that's the name of the cat." or something. 😂 I guess you had to be there but, yeah, a lot of my love for this show comes down to nostalgia and happy memories with my dad.
Now what kept me into the show as an adult? So many things. It's my favorite British style of humor; a group of people who annoy the smeg out of each other while also willing to die for each other. Its the absolute zaniness of the sci-fi where anything can happen, where humanoids evolved from cats, or a computer becoming senile, or a guy who is his own dad etc. It has all that insanity going on and yet each episode is so smegging COSY! Because an episode where the gang is fighting an insane robot is the same one where they throw a party for android friend who they think is about to die. Because the last man on earth tricks his ghost frienemy into confessing about his soup trauma for a laugh but also maybe free therapy.
And it's hilarious! No show has ever made me laugh so hard and I've watched it too many times to count over the years.
I honestly don't know how to sell it for someone coming in fresh or isn't fond of British humor but I always encourage everyone to give it a try; and I always recommend an episode from S3 - 6 as those are peak Red Dwarf eps imo. I love the whole show but the first 2 seasons can come off a bit slow for newbies and the comedy definitely took a hit post s7.
If there was one clip I'd show to kinda sum up the show in a nutshell it's this one:

Sorry if you’re already thru with DWY but did you ever gif hong jo scene when she’s dancing to mamamoo? I found that scene so relatable and it’s what initially hooked me in the show. Excited for your new work on rowoons new show, can’t wait to check it out
Hi nonie.
I didn't gif that scene because if I remember correctly, I saw someone else post a set for it. (I haven't had the time to scroll back to find it, sorry!) I've only watched the first ep of The Matchmakers and so far I really like it. It's just a light and hilarious romcom. Just what I'm looking for on a Mon-Tues.
Rowoon's character having literal heart palpitations from reading smut is cracking me up.

i was scrolling this through this thread on reddit about the worst platonic to romantic relationship between two characters. some i agreed with some i didn’t and some made me laugh HOWEVER i did not expect to see sylvie and loki mentioned.
Sylvie and Loki. It was horrible to watch. It was like a switch, up to ep 3 you think they might actually end up being friends, then suddenly out of literal nowhere they’re wanting to mack on each other. The fuckin whiplash I got. (link)
As much as I loved that show, I agree — at the very least, it should have been a slow burn with the first season ending in their trust and friendship. It actually would’ve kind of helped enhance the underlying arc of both “Lokis” learning empathy as well as “self love” or “self acceptance” in my opinion. (link)
and then obviously in the thread someone says “Loki is so narcissistic that he could only fall in love with himself” *eye roll*
Oh that's good, I'm glad more people are starting to voice their opinion against sylki. It was so unnecessary. They could have kept them as siblings, their banter in ep3 could have worked if they had just allowed them to prank each other and make jokes and be annoying little shits to one another. Something similar to what they did with the Peters in NWH (they say it themselves, they're brothers!) but a little more mischievous.
Sadly I knew when I saw her that they would pair them up because they just can't help themselves, they see a man and a woman and lose all focus. I had a bit of hope for ep4 but alas......... "the power of love" bla bla. As if love equals romance 🙄
That last comment about Loki being a narcissist is so tiring though. These people don't know what that word means and it shows - that, and they haven't been following Loki closely enough because he keeps mentioning just how much he hates himself and the word he uses the most to describe himself is monster. But sure, he loves himself so much... 🤦‍♀️
I'll just leave this here:
It's not self-love
Loki is not a narcissist
A bit on fawners
I stopped watching Criminal Minds after a few seasons, they got JJ and Reid together? That's so freaking creepy, wtf lol

Hello!✨
Chaos idea: The clump try to have a movie night but spend two hours scrolling mindlessly through their prefered streaming service because they just can't decide on a movie
They end up watching Bluey, that's the only show they all love equally
But then they start fighting about which episode to watch!
Red would probably cry with sleepy time, especially that part where Chili assures Bingo she will be there for her even if she can't see her bcs I firmly believe Red never had his parents tell him that, (he just gives off daddy and mommy issues, specially in the family episode and how most of the time he tries to avoid confrontation like that part where he fires Duck due to pressure). And maybe baby race
Duck would LOVE the episode where Jack and Rusty play army with all those military references that remind him of his childhood and youth (even tho hes like, 30) He would probably like baby race too
I think Yellow would like the butterflies ep, and he would be constantly singing the poor little bug on the wall song as vocal stimming (i know my sister and i did haha!)
Green it's kinda hard… It's maybe because i have not finished watching all the episodes (i just cannot binge watch it because i cry way too much and i end up exhausted) but i can't choose an episode for him… i was thinking maybe the bedroom one, but it's not right enough…
I would probably continue to watch it and maybe when I finish I could give him an episode!
For now, he just likes all of the episodes :D
Oh I cry over every single episode of Bluey no matter what so I'm right there with you.
Yeah. Red would weep every time Chili and Bandit are good parents bc he very obviously did NOT have a good childhood and has basically no relationship with his family/peers. Sleepy Time would make him cry SO BAD man... Poor guy. He's role in my AU really is, like, ending his family trauma with him and ensuring that Yellow and Green have the supportive family he never had, so the bedtime episode would really get him :( poor guy :(
All I could think of during that army episode was Duck lol, he's my go-to army guy now. I think he'd also really like the episode with Chili's dad because he feels kinship with Mort being a crazy old dude that's kind of a curmudgeon but deep down loves his family (bonus points for him being implied to be a veteran)
Yellow loves all the silly episodes and the songs but I think he'd also love Sleepytime because of Bingo's relationship with floppy reminding him of his relationship with Doggie.
Green's a toughie, but I really think he'd resonate with Space the most. He'd love the scientific aspects of Mackenzie pretending to be an astronaut, and also wanting to be the lead explorer. SPOILERS here if you haven't seen this episode, but the separation anxiety and abandonment issues that Mackenzie experiences in this episode remind me so much of Green. They way he feels like it's up to him to save 'the crew' and how terrified he actually is of being abandoned by his family, especially because it's happened before in the past. But he has to learn to trust the people he cares about to care about him in return. (🥲🥲🥲🥲)
