I've never posted this kinda thing before but holy shit y'all. Obviously if you follow me here you enjoy reading romance, and this is the best romance story I have ever read. This is also just so much more than your typical romance novel. This honestly kinda made me believe in true love again (despite my writing here I can be very synical lol). It's about love and mental health and how you don't have to be mentally okay to love or be loved. And on top of all that the writing is just so goddamn beautiful. I wish I'd had a pen and sticky notes while reading this cause the number of lines that just blew my mind was crazy. I wish I could write like that. I seriously can't recommend this book enough. I laughed, cried, and everything in between. The characters are both lovable and insufferable but you still end up routing for them so damn hard. 10/10 and one of my new all time favorites. If you love reading about love, read it.

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:

Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.

The actual difference is

when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names

when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names

I feel like this has to be said, since it’s becoming increasingly popular to be extremely rude to ppl and trash on their interests (especially on tumblr)

You can enjoy any media you like despite what losers on tumblr tell you that you should and shouldn’t enjoy, be it music, books, or shows and movies. If you’re having fun and enjoying yourself that’s all that matters, lame ass ppl on this site will try and make u feel guilty about what you enjoy and I think that’s stupid as fuck

Listen to pop, watch that popular show, read that book that everyone claims is bad. Who cares, ppl are way too obsessed with being different and unique that they’ll try and squash your interests and enjoyment to make themselves seem interesting

Bottom line, just treat people with kindness and don’t diminish their interests, it’s such a shitty thing to do

when they said in Dune that they needed spice for space travel i thought it was used as some sort of fuel but no apparently it's just because your pilot needs to be hight out of his mind to be able to safely navigate big ships into space
