Reminder that around this time is when people start early-shopping for holiday gift-giving (for those who celebrate or their family celebrates) so if you're someone who's family/friends refuses to take 'no, dont get me a gift' as an answer then you need to start making a wishlist of things you actually want and can use.

Having an actaul list to whip out when someone asks is a perfectly acceptable response and preferred. Especially when Aunty Tiffany is gifting you feminine church clothes when you're t-masc and it's just going to sit there for months unused, or Grandpa gets you another one of those walmart spa kits when $10 of gas money would have been much more helpful.

A lot of gifts are often unwanted, sit there unused out of guilt or are thrown away. This will help YOU as much as it helps to cut back on waste. Most stores cannot put a lot of returned gifts back out on shelves, especially holiday-themed ones. Holidays are one of the most wasteful times of the year.

I have some posts about dumpster diving and waste and talking about how you should donate unwanted gifts but seriously pls pls pls make a list. It does not have to be expensive or extravagant, it just needs to be something you know you will use. Put some $5 cute pens on there with the bunnies at the end or something.

Her hand laid delicately atop someone’s head, leaning down to press her lips against their little brow. The fragrance of the wild camellia she had placed on their wool still smelled as sweet as when they first picked it the day before.

“Will you save me the biiiggest berry you’ll find today?”

“If you are a good child and listen to your Tito while we’re gone, then it is yours.”

“Waaah…! I-I’ll listen. Promise!”

The ewe smiled, pulling away before adjusting once more the empty basket slung on her back. She leaves one more pat upon their head before turning away to the decidious woods beyond.

“Bye-bye, mama! Take care, papa!”

She heard her child’s voice, hampering her walk forward like an anchor at the docks of a beach now lost to memory. Lonna remembers— the little trail of footprints on the sand, the sound of their giggling.

She closes her eyes and holds onto her husband’s arm.

The sound of her little one now recedes into the distance.

i haven't met a single transfem that doesn't crumple for praise. we've been rejected by society our whole lives, the idea of complete and total acceptance is intoxicating to us.

i think thats what makes pet play such a common thing for transfems too. we are forced to emotionally mature faster than our cis peers, because we've been made aware that there's something wrong with us that makes us different, even if we dont exactly know what that thing is yet. we're made to feel ashamed of what we truly are. we learn that we need to stay strong to protect ourselves from being found out, and that we always need to be thinking to keep ourselves safe. so its easy to see why its such an appealing idea to completely submit to someone we love and trust, turn off those worrying and thinking parts of our brains and just become a submissive animal, an animal that will be completely loved and protected and kept safe by the owner that we love.
