guysss. I'm trying to decide which WIP idea I should pursue in earnest next, and it's soooo tough for no reason... so let's see what the people think:DD
(note: all these stories are fantasy lol)
WIP 1 - a more lighthearted adventure story with a music-based magic system about a group of adventurers hunting down a guy who's trying to bring back a dead god to save his lover
WIP 2 - a 'missing girl' mystery where everyone believes the girl died, except the MC, who's convinced she faked her own death. until the very end it's unclear whether she's right or just delusional from grief (very mindbend-y stuff) (this has toxic sapphics)
WIP 3 - a reality swap story where, in universe 1, the MC is a disillusioned wanderer trying to get by in her war-ravaged lands, and in universe 2, she's a ruthless leader who'd united the lands and will stop at nothing to protect them. they swap places lol (this also has toxic sapphics)

#nobody gets a prize for correctly guessing which character yakumo relates to most#when the anime first came out and everybody hopped on the hype train#i scratched my chin thoughtfully and wondered.... would i like this? it seems like i would like this. should i watch it?#and all my friends around me said 'nah you'll probably hate it. it's really sad'#so i trusted them and ignored beastars the whole time. until now. when i saw the entire series at my LOCAL LIBRARY!!!!#so of course the curiosity wins out and i start reading it and i REALLY LIKE IT?? WTF WERE MY FRIENDS ON ABOUT?#this is sad yes but most of the time it's FUNNY? and also ANIMALS R COOL? bruh. i can't trust my friends' opinions of me anymore#anyway. due to the nature of my current nuca fixation timing. i kept thinking of it while reading#drawing parallels that may only exist in my mind LOL#i can imagine yaku being a freak over legoshi and his quest to become strong but not falling to his instincts and etc.etc.#yakugaru having a manga reading session in either o their bedrooms... lying on the floor engrossed in beastly tales...#these two would absolutely have a debate about which chara is most similar to eiden#to yaku it is obvs haru but i feel like garu would see eiden in a less.... prey sort of way#or maybe they'd agree on the haru comparison!! but yaku might hesitate to voice the 'mr eiden... has to be protected...' thoughts#and garu would proudly proclaim how eiden and haru share traits like bravery/outgoingness/super cool and go-getter/wise and worldly???#i kept staring down louis like.... you're some mix of dante and edmond... and something else....#UGH i like all the characters... they all have their charms.... they are all such creatures#honestly yahya the entire time was just relatable content and after seeing the way he lived out the rest of his life *chef's kiss* GOALS#nu carnival yakumo#nu carnival garu

I keep getting messages from people saying they wish they could get certain Pride Angels designs but don't feel comfortable doing so if it's not their flag. Personally this has never been an issue for me and I get any design regardless of flag if it looks cool. But I'm wondering if I'm in the minority here! Let me know in the poll.
#pride angels#poll#no right or wrong answer here just curiosity#it does make me a little sad to think people are missing out on things they want#but I understand if they are more particular about the flags they rep than I am#I feel like it's like a straight person wearing rainbow in solidarity#and the angels on their own are their flag identities as well as representing them#so you can also think of it like you are adopting and caring for a little gay angel creature#as opposed to getting a symbol that represents *you*#if that make sense LOL#it's easy for me to say that since they're my OCs#they are all my creatures to care for#also...if it feels forbidden to wear a design if it's not your flag#should it also be forbidden for a creator not of that identity#to make merch for it? Or maybe that's different

#She's so cute <3#WPP#Portal#Ellen McLain#If you haven't played through the audio commentary I would Absolutely recommend it it is So fun#I clicked out of curiosity - kind of just expecting like a movie's audio commentary y'know? Like a video that highlighted specific scenes#No it's just the whole game again but with trivia pop-ups! I love that!!#It reminded me so much of like trivia track or the pop up fun facts from special editions of movies I would watch as a kid#But you can play through them!! You have to click on them and they spin! I love that!!!#I always love hearing the design and development process - fascinating how the playtesters reacted to this new game!#We take it for granted now but yeah I imagine it would've been very confusing at the time#And I was like ''Well it was such a small team and Ms. McLain was such a large part of it - surely she'll have a few bubbles?''#She does lol - as soon as I got to her first one (it was a slow burn! They buried the lead with her lol I'm already invested!) I had to go#I saved-quit the game out of sheer excitement and giddiness lol I had to sleep on it before I was ready to come back#It is so cool to hear her natural voice ah <3 And the kinds of direction she was given! Other bubbles also talk about her vocal direction :)#Very cool! I wonder what TTS they used for reference :0#But to hear her real laugh without the audio processing over and and she still sounds like GLaDOS! I mean of course she does but just jfdksl#That's /her/ laugh! They share a laugh! It's a very similar laugh!!#Not to mention her talking about wanting to play and just fdskalfd they clearly did such a good job with her performance and ahhh#It's too cute it's all too cute sharing a room with GLaDOS while her voice actor talks about making a cake to share with her friends stopppp#I am so enamoured <3#I also took a bunch of screenshots of GLaDOS still shit-talking while she was being destroyed lol#Actually beat the ending in one try this time :P I ran out of time the last time pfft#But now I've beaten it twice in as many days :D Although I did start it the first time several days ago - but I beat it again quickly!#Has me all the more itching to replay 2 ♪#WPVG

just curious, what kind of uquizzes do you guys personally enjoy most? 👀 it can be anything general or specific, but here are some types that I've noticed: the poetic kind of quizzes with meaningful results, quizzes that give you a personality analysis, book/movie rec quizzes, quizzes with silly questions and results, quizzes that feel like a game (like going through a maze or creating a house), etc etc!
#for me i always gravitate towards those poetic kind of quizzes#like...ones that just feel special because their words are spot on or mean something to me#the emotional kind of quizzes haha#though as for quizzes i usually dont take#i wasnt really interested in any romantic quizzes before#but lately i do them out of curiosity lol#anyway what about you guys!#not a uquiz
