i need help i can’t stop thinking about killing myself like it’s happened before but i’ve never gone through with it it’s going to hurt i know it i know
i'm really sorry to hear that love :( it seems like you're having such a hard time right now. i know there's nothing i can do or say that will really put a dent in ur pain, but since we're both here rn i'll do a bit of talking and if you're not feeling it you can ignore it, or you can come back to this later. maybe you want to try some grounding exercises, here / here and here before you feel capable of focusing. that's ok, take all the time you need. now, as someone who also struggles with this, i just wanted to say that i understand the intensity of the moment and how sometimes it really feels like the urge to give up is far stronger than any notion of hope the future has to offer. it is totally understandable how we get to this point when so much of life just seems to be suffering. having said that, i think it's a good sign that you reached out to me and an even better sign that you're able to recognize that these ARE just thoughts. and while they can be very powerful hurtful things, they do not exist in the tangible reality. not every idea that passes through your mind has to be believed or acted upon - all of this turmoil and self loathing, it is not factual and it is not permanent either. you're not in a place right now where you can trust your thoughts and feelings, so please let them pass on through, even if that takes a long time. allow it to. we've already established that this state of mind has come and gone in the past, and it will do the same again, if you give it the chance to. i'm not trying to downplay how unbelievably hard to live with, of course, but it can be freeing to acknowledge that this is transient no matter how difficult it is to endure. that fear is your survival instinct and it's kicking in to keep you here. you deserve to be here and you deserve to thrive, no matter what your mind is telling you. it sounds like you're going through phases of intense suicidal ideation and there can be a whole host of underlying causes for this - mental illness, past trauma etc. obviously those are very serious issues that need real medical attention in order to begin to overcome but with that and with time, it is totally possible to learn to live a full live along side them. almost nuturing them, so they don't overwhelm you as much. sometimes it boils down to loving yourself through it like a parent loves a child.
are you currently in touch with a mental health professional of any sort? your doctor, a therapist, a support group, even a hotline? if not, i would really urge you to seek help as soon as possible. and if you already are, let them know where you're at with your thoughts lately so they can focus on treating you more intensely. if you're worried about money, there are cost-sensitive options like finding a therapist who offers a sliding scale price, or looking into mental health resources within your community. any effort, no matter how small, counts. i know the prospect of reaching out and being honest is a daunting one, and i'm only bringing it up as something to consider at the moment (or when you feel able to) so please don't write it off all together. but it really is not the nightmare your brain is probably building it up to be. just like with physical illness, mental illness can be confronted and worked with. it's all about learning how to manage your unique mind, and even if it takes a lifetime, it is so possible to lessen the frequency of crises like this, to become more prepared for them so they feel less earth-shattering when they do occur. talking about what you've been through, pinpointing root causes, learnng how to implement healthy coping mechanisms into your daily routine, building a support system, finding the medication for you if needed - all of this is going to make a difference. it is not going to fix everything, obviously, but it is going to lighten the weight. you deserve to be supported without judgement and with genuine care, you deserve to be heard. there are a lot of people, professionals or otherwise, even just randoms like me, who are willing to be that presence for you.
this isn't always the case but a LOT of the time, suicidal people don't want to die, they just want to stop living 'like this'. you don't have to hurt yourself in order to achieve that, i mean it. i know when you're in this state of mind, any even slightly positive statement just feels like rubbing salt into the wound. but even if you can't seriously take them on board, i hope when you're in a more grounded place you can at least consider them as valid alternatives to absolute hopelessness. you might as well, because you are alive and that is not always going to be a burden. you honestly have an inherent worth that has been with you since the day you were born. it isn't gone just because you can't see it right now. every day you fulfil your purpose by experiencing the world. you can't fathom how many lives you've touched, directly and indirectly, just by being who you are. it is so hard to believe it, i get that, but it is a fundamental truth. there is nothing you need to prove, or give. the future is ever changing and doesn't exist yet, and you've already survived the past, so the only thing that really matters is this moment. focus on what you need, not what you want, but what you need to do right now to truly prioritize yourself. even if that feels like the last thing on earth you want do. if self destruction and self harm was gonna work, it would've by now. it's ok to try something new and to attempt to guide yourself through this with a bit of self-compassion. please, if you feel like you are an immediate danger to yourself, please exercise that and call the authorities, a hotline or a friend/family member right away. no matter what lies your brain is feeding you, no matter how much you don't actually want to in the moment. everything is always changing and things are going to change beyond recognition, they always do. you deserve to stick around to see that, and once you've made the decision to do that, you won't have to be scared anymore, not the way you are right now. i'm going to leave some links that i think might be of some service to you right now, but like i said, please call someone if you feel you can't be alone right now. i believe in you so much and i really hope you are able do the right thing for your own safety. such strong emotions are not built to last. just get through today, or even the next five minutes, andthen go from there. sending so much love.

Following the original intent: pain. I give double pain. (I shed two tears)
All around them were familiar and yet unfamiliar faces that were mangled beyond recognition. It would suffice to say the Kumicho was displeased by the events he’d just stumbled upon. It took mere moments to decimate the immediate area with a certain woman being the eye of the storm of destruction. Everything within the immediate perimeter laid to waste from his tyrannous wrath before he’d chosen to pay attention to the dying human woman laying on the ground, laboriously fighting to stay alive for a moment longer to pass along her parting words to him.
Wishing not to interrupt her in her desire to part with him her dying words, Sesshomaru nary spoke a word as she spoke, but he responded to each statement in his heart.
The blame for this was all on his shoulders. A human and a Demon were ill-matched by many means, especially a Demon of high rank such as himself. Other Demons would seek the human he’d affections for. Their ill-intent constantly coming in like waves at an ocean-shore. It took one moment of misfortune for Kikyo to pay the price of his selfishness. Kikyo could have led a somewhat normal life, spiritual powers withholding.
To fall in love with another more suited for her mundane life, to marry, have a family, and grow old. Instead, she lay here mourning over a death which would split them apart. Even in death, their souls would travel to different places, one meant for humans and another meant for Demons.
No reunion for partnered souls like humans could look forward to. Many concessions this woman had to make because he’d selfishly wished to act upon old regrets of his. To spark her previous memories, dragging them forth into the modern time.
There was nothing for him to forgive, as his heart pained over his own selfishness which led to her untimely death, one full of pain and guilt. Something such a caring and sacrificing woman need not bare for a second life in a row.
Hands clasped over hers, the warmth of his hands greatly contrasted the cold of hers. With every word, his grip would tighten, but then loosen once he’d remember humans were quite frail in comparison to Demon bodies.
This Sesshomaru felt his own despair, knowing that he would be left behind after having tasted the love a human had to offer a Demon with their finite lives. These creatures lived day to day to the fullest, with every day was something new to look forward to.
Though he always understood in theory having experienced loss before, this was different. There was a reason why Demons and Humans rarely came together in matrimony.
Demons, seemed uncaring by comparison to humans, but it was simply the fact the lifespans of Demons were far longer. So, their emotions were spread across this span of time. Quite similar to how a dog may feel existential dread when their owner leaves for an hour, as an hour to them may feel like a lifetime. They had much shorter lives to spend sharing their care with others.
It was wrong to state Demons had no emotions, but that they were desensitized over the long mundane and monotonous years that sank into the depths of their bones. “This heart belongs to you, Kikyo.” It would only belong to her. With her death, this heart could not belong to another.
Heartbeat came to a halt, as did his in a figurative sense. Gently, he laid down the woman, before he’d changed into his original form. That of a Canid Demon, wrapping around her minute form, as if to retain the last of her warmth of life.
Kikyo couldn’t understand. She wouldn’t understand. Once a Demon had settled something as important to them, it changed something about them. An obsession? A dependency? Nay, a life-sentence. A Demon may choose one thing to stake his life on, and it could change at differing stages of his life.
Once upon a time he’d stake his life for honor, but it later changed to that of Kikyo’s livelihood. He not only failed to protect her, but he failed himself. His reason of being. The unparalleled emotion meant to last his entire lifetime was burning through like the fuse of a firework, destined to explode.
Patience was no strong suit of his. He had waited centuries for Kikyo to return, nearly going mental in the process near the end of it. He could only hold out for so long as most of the time spent waiting was him introspecting his own feelings for the Miko who once lived.
This time, was different. Sesshomaru had already established the meaning of Kikyo in his life. The importance that her existence had on his life’s priority.
Losing her meant he’d lost a large part of him, his pride, his life-meaning. Quiet whining sounds wailed into the night, the crying beast could not be quelled.
Just as he’d intended, the enemies that lay in wait surrounded him. Not wasting his time in securing the perimeter led to this, but that was what he wanted. Slowly raising onto his feet, coiling onto his haunches, the large beast leapt into the fray, tearing and slicing. In the truest sense, he became a beast, mindless in its desire for rampage and death.
The calculating Lord no longer existed as he’d willingly debased himself to the mindless creature he looked down upon. Still, a Demon of his age and standing was far more than these peons could cope with.
The end result of the battle was total annihilation of the enemy. He’d repaid them for their transgressions, but he too paid the price. A price he felt fitting.
He could not wait. He would not wait. The centuries spent waiting already wearing on his soul, another bout of waiting was impossible. Emotions which exploded upon the battlefield, exploding flowers of blood everywhere, the carnage festival was a sight to behold.
Emotions now fizzling like the final vestiges of a fireworks show, leaving only memories and smoke behind, padded feet slowly approached the fallen woman. Curling around her once more, he felt the willingness to live without his beloved drastically leaving as the injuries adorning his body flowed with his own blood.
He couldn’t live without Kikyo. Not again. He was being selfish once more, but that was in his blood as a Demon to be selfish.
Unwilling to wait, he refused to allow his wounds to staunch the bleeding. Gently nudging her cheek, a final whine left the weary Demons body as he breathed his last, drifting slowly into a dream of a time where he could perhaps be reborn as a human, so his lifespan could better match her own.
Alas, the life and death cycles differed for humans and Demons alike.
At the very least, he could spend eternity hunting the Demons that harmed Kikyo in Hell, holding them accountable for their contemptible crimes.
May Kikyo in another life find herself a match that better suited her than himself, that was the unselfish wish of a selfish Demon who barely held back his own selfish desires in hope that she would live a fruitful life the next time.
Forgive this Demon who wished to dream of a life, but allowed you to pay the price with your life.
If you could live your life to the fullest next time, he’ll be happy.
For once, be selfish for yourself.

Brave Tender Heart 01 | Beware of the Past
pairing: princess!reader x knight!jungkook
Chapter 01
The garden was priceless, and so whoever entered it was taking a risk of their lifetime. One wrong move against the ample nature that lay there and they would lose whatever they had left. A blossoming tree stood on an elevated patch of wet grass. It’s branches extended towards different directions as if each one of them wanted a different route in life. The crystal pond that sat still that afternoon although the movement underneath went unnoticed. The grass was all at an equal length giving them no sense of individualism, unlike the branches. The castle’s gardeners moved with a purpose, took a step where a step needed to be taken and touched only what needed to be touched. The white bird soared high and landed on the blossoming tree. He watched over the creatures who filled the garden and took the opportunity to gaze at this rare sight. Humans were never allowed in the garden, seeing this, the white bird was unhappy.
As a man reached to snip the grass, the white bird flapped its wings ferociously and took a dive aiming for the most vulnerable part of the body. The face.
“And which one of you allowed this peasant in?” the prince roared.
The garden was hurt, the gardener’s scissors had left a painful scar in its soil and he was about to pay the price.
“It was I, your majesty. Kang is one of our best and I swear upon you, my dear prince, he has had no ill intention-”
“Who do you think you are defending, Sir Kim?” said the prince angered.
“It is in my best policy, never to offend you, dear prince. I am unbelievably sorry for the trouble in the garden, rest assured, I will see to it that Kang will not be allowed in ever again.” said Sir Kim.
“And you make sure that he pays the price. Send two of your best to fix the offences you have done to our garden at once and do not spare a moment. Off!” the prince bellowed.
“Brother.” a voice snapped.
The prince did not think to spare a glance at his sister. “I am in a terrible mood, sister. Leave me be.” he muttered lowly.
“But brother, I must inform you. The gardener is not at fault, I watched them in the garden from my dressing room and it seems that Kang had been a victim against a lovely white bird. Nature was defending its place and mistook Kang as an intruder.” the princess spoke kindly.
“Well do you want me to punish the bird instead?”
“Well, of course not, I was hoping-”
“Get out of my chamber, y/n.”
“Taehyung, will you not listen?” y/n snapped.
“No I shall not, and I shall never. Bring your case up to the gods if you want but that fiend is deserving of his punishment and the case rests there.” Taehyung spoke, finally looking at his sister.
He finally saw her appearance for the first time that week. She was slowly turning into a woman, a beautiful woman. Her hair was a slightly different shade and her eyes were tired. The same way Taehyung watched her, she looked at him. Her brother was young, fit to take a place on the throne. But his eyes screamed for sleep or some form of rest. She could see the pain and restlessness in him for having many stressful and long nights all in a row. She pitied him.
“Will you at least join me for the breakfast?” y/n pleaded.
He sent her a reluctant stare. “Inform Sir Park that the prince will be expecting breakfast in his study. I do not expect him to be a minute late.”
y/n watched her brother’s long, slim back covered in thick, rich clothes as he dragged them on his back and walked off.
Breakfast was quick, y/n did not have much of an appetite after her conversation with her brother. She planned the activities for this day in her head while blankly staring at the vase in front of her. The thought of her brother being as lonely as she was pricked at her heart. The last they properly spoke was the night she had promised to protect him. Now so much time has passed that she did not know the kind of person her brother has grown to become.
He was incredibly young, yet he held the entire kingdom in the palms of his hands. She knew the kind of worry, stress and frustration that comes with taking responsibility of the lives of many. It was with no hesitation, that she could proudly state that her brother is a great King. He showed compassion for those in need, children were so dear to his heart even if they weren’t his own. He had a temper so large, it was impossible to see him in such a way. Then y/n remembered that he was just a boy, and maybe he just wanted to live like one. Then she had remembered that he had wanted breakfast.
“Will you fetch Sir Park for me please?” y/n asked a nearby maid.
A few moments after he was bowing in front of her and listening attentively. She hated such power, maybe because she had too much of it.
“My stubborn brother refuses to share a meal with me and he would like his breakfast sent to his study. He asked for you specifically, Sir Park.”
“Of course, princess. The prince shall receive a good meal right away.” he replied smiling slightly.
“Feed him well, yeah Park? I worry too much of him.” y/n sighed.
“Always, princess. And you are not to worry, this facade of his will fade soon enough.” Sir Park replied.
“Will it?” y/n said sadly. “It has been eight years.” she sighed.
“I have no ill intention in saying this princess, however, when one believes that their sibling is responsible for the death of the family, it is painful and difficult to forgive.”
y/n did not know what to say then. She has spent years grieving, years trying to tell herself she meant well, years trying to make it up to her brother, and years hating herself for it. Unconsciously, she shed a tear.
“My biggest apologies, princess. I did not mean to upset you-”
“All is good, Sir Park.” she said quickly. “All is good.” she repeated with a small, reassuring smile.
Sir Park Jimin was the knight that y/n was closest with. He was older and had been in training at the palace even before she was born. He had been there through her happiest and darkest times. When y/n fought to save her family, it was him that provided all of the support. He was loyal and trustworthy as a knight should be and never judged her for her choices. But Sir Park was special because both he and y/n knew that his loyalty was not forced, but it was earned by y/n. They were friends, companions, Sir Park had even taught y/n how to ride her first horse. It was these memorable moments that bonded them even more.
Sir Park left to tend to the prince and y/n was alone again. She thought she would enter the garden, but it would irk her brother. The horses were resting and it was too hot out to go for a ride. The art room was empty and she thought it was a good place to hide out for this blazing afternoon.
“Sir Kim?” y/n called as she peeked into his office.
“Princess! Oh, you should have called and I would have come to you, even though you don’t particularly like it.” Sir Kim added humorously at the end.
y/n smiled and laughed softly. “If you are aware of the reasons of my actions then you should not say otherwise. The matter is unimportant, I was wondering if the paint has been restocked.”
“Yes, fully, princess. I had the rose hue you requested delivered as well.” he said.
“You have been helpful, Sir Kim. I will let your return to your activities.”
“My pleasure, dear princess. I hope all goes well with your artworks today.”
y/n smiled and thanked him before heading to the art room. Sir Kim Namjoon was another one of her friends. Not as close as Sir Park since he was much older and she had always thought of him as family. He was appointed as the king’s most trusted servant since he was incredibly intelligent and he dealt with the king so well. He had played a part in y/n’s education, lending her his collection of historical and geographical books as well as his collection of literature. He had always hoped that y/n would turn out to be smarter than he was, and as for Taehyung, he was not much of a bookworm.
The art room smelled clean, fresh and it had a calming nature to it. As y/n closed the door, she heard a small gasp and someone shifting behind her. She turned around fiercely ready to defend herself when she came face to face with Sir Jeon.
She let out a sigh of relief and smiled. “Foolish of me to think there would be danger in the art room. It is deemed the most peaceful place on castle grounds.”
Sir Jeon cracked a smile, and chuckled heartily. “My apologies, princess. I was admiring the artwork. I shall take my leave-”
“Oh, please, do stay. It is comforting to know that someone sees the beauty in my works.” y/n said, longing for company.
Sir Jeon was tall, handsome, amazingly built. As one of the most well-known knights in the kingdom he was not around an awful lot. He had business to deal with elsewhere.
“Do you really mean that, princess?” he asked unsure.
“Of course, you are not around so often, am I correct?”
“Yes, princess, however it feels as though I am intruding-”
“I demand you to stay, Sir Jeon.” y/n said firmly, yet with a lighthearted tone in her voice.
He smiled rather attractively and nodded. “Your wish is my command, princess.”
y/n giggled and walked over to her box of paints while Sir Jeon stood in front of one of the paintings on the wall.
“Princess, I have many queries about these paintings.” he said.
y/n looked surprised, “Queries? How long have you looked at them to have many queries?”
“You may not know this, princess, but I visit the art room on each and every one of my returns to the palace. It is my happy place.”
Hearing that, y/n’s heart swelled in her chest.
“A room full of my artwork is your happy place?”
“You truly are talented, princess. And I have seen it for myself.”
y/n felt entirely grateful to him. The art room was not forbidden, yet she was the only one who entered it. Now, to know that Sir Jeon takes pride and sees beauty in her efforts, she felt a certain liking towards him.
“And what are your queries, Sir Jeon?” she asked curiously.
“Firstly, this piece seems to show all the colours of the rainbow-”
“And so you’ve noticed,” y/n said surprised. “You have a keen eye.”
“My query is why you added this streak of black. It occurs four times across the canvas.”
y/n’s feelings of amusement and gratitude slowly faded as she remembered the story of that art piece.
“The rainbow represents myself, how I have different sides to me and each colour represents them. They are what makes me complete. The black streaks remind me of those I lack under my false belief that I am complete. Each streak represents those I have lost. Father, mother, and my younger sisters. You have a keen eye, Sir Jeon, but you failed to notice the grey.”
Sir Jeon’s expression was filled with regret and pity. “The grey is the prince.” he mumbled.
“Precisely.” y/n smiled sadly.
“Art really allows us to showcase our emotions in the most beautiful way, princess. It also tells us that we are allowed to feel pain, allowed to make mistakes, and that we are allowed to move on.” Sir Jeon said as he took a step towards her.
y/n nodded at him, “Very true indeed. Art is my escape.”
“So is mine.” Sir Jeon replied, smiling softly.
They stood in a comfortable silence for a while, eyes gazing upon that painting.
“A knight’s duty calls, princess.” he said as he turned to face her.
y/n nodded, “I must have kept you long. I apologise.”
“Not at all, princess. I am happy to be here, I really am.” he said genuinely.
Sir Jeon lifted y/n’s hand and placed a soft kiss on the back of it. y/n paid attention to the shape of his lips, how it sofltly pressed against her skin. It was like she was in a trance.
“I hope to have my many other queries answered tomorrow, princess?” he said.
y/n was slightly taken back, usually a knight would never demand something from her like that, not anyone. But she liked it, because it made her feel equal.
“And I shall be happy to, Sir Jeon.” she said staring into his eyes.
When he left, y/n knew just what she was going to paint today.

A/N: Commander Thorn/reader
Warnings: PG-13,follows canon and has Unhealthy Coping skills
The Price of Love
The sun was lazily breaking the horizon, as if the star itself was unsure whether it should wake up. In your dreaming haze you hear the flowing water of the shower in the fresher. Your mind -- the amazing three pound organ that it is -- seamlessly adds this new effect to your picturesque dream.
You're waiting for your love to return, by the calming ebb and flow of a turquoise lake.
The early morning light trickles in pass the half opened blinds. Like ethereal fingers, their feather light touch beckon you softly to wake up. In sleepy defiance you however, turn over, your bare back now exposed to the suns embrace.
A light breeze whips across the soft cresting waves on the shoreline. The light mist cools your face as sunlight flickers through the low hanging branches of your shaded oasis.
Crisp water droplets fall on your skin, causing your muscles to jump after each tiny, harmless shock. A calloused finger tip gently traces through the pooling water in abstract shapes. The landscape of your lake country turns misty, slowly fading to the background as you begin to awake.
A promised vacation fulfilled, a secret honeymoon.
"Good morning cyar'ika." He kisses into the space between your neck and your shoulder.
"It's to early for it to be good yet, Thorn." You mumble into your pillow with a half smile.
"Awww, let me see what I can do about that." He coos softly as he joins you in a blanket fort made for two. His kisses trail up your back and across your shoulder as he pulls you in closer. His stubbled face nuzzles into your neck, whispering sweet nothing with each tender kiss.
"I can stop... if you want me too?"
"It's a lil to late for that now isn't it?" You said shifting around to face him. His amber eyes burned brighter and warmer then the golden morning glow that now bathed the room. Wrapping your arms around his neck your hands combed through his damp hair. Dark strands just beginning to curl around your fingers. He would say he was due for a cut but for now he was letting it be because you liked it a bit longer.
Your moment of marital bliss is interrupted by a demanding comlink, angrily beeping in background. You both try to ignore it. Thorn let's out a resigned sigh and gives you one last lingering kiss. Letting out a small chuckle as if to say 'sorry' he pulls away from you, grabbing the comlink from the side table.
Your eyes narrow with growing annoyance from the disruption. By working alot of overtime and through good old fashion begging you had managed to get three weeks off. Even though you knew it would be impossible for Thorn to have that much time, you were expecting at least a week of uninterrupted alone time with your new husband. A price you pay to be with a Commander of the Coruscant Guard you guess. Thorn was always on call.
He sits back on the edge of the bed. You come up behind him, arms coming around his broad and overworked shoulders, half eavesdropping, half just trying to distract him.
"Right...right away... sir." He stutters finishing the call, trying to keep a small veneer of composer through all the barely there kisses you have been leaving on his skin.
"I have to escort Senator Amidala to Scipio."
"When?"
"Now." he said his voice painted with disappointment as he half turns to face you. "Have to get everything prepared and the men ready for take off later this afternoon."
"Did you really, wake me up just to tease me like that!?" You complain and dramatically fall back with a loud sigh.
"I'm sorry cyar'ika." Thorn said leaning back for a kiss.
"You can kiss me when you get back, you little tease." You huffed throwing your pillow at him for good measure. He lets out a half whine half laugh.
"I love you cyar'ika."
"Mmm hmmm." You croon turning over to fall back asleep.
For the Republic!
The funny thing about the worst moment in your life is you don't know until after the fact. Until after the unrelenting timer has already counted down to zero. Exploding and tearing you away from every preconceived thought you had. The future that once was so clear and bright was now shrouded in thick, noxious darkness. Questions, regrets, like hot shrapnel sear through you.
Why didn’t I... What If... If only I did something... Why didn’t I... What If... If only... Why didn’t I kiss you goodbye... What If made up an excuse for you to stay... If only... Why didn’t I... What If... If only... Why didn’t I... What If I’d begged you to stay...Why didn’t I say I love one last time... If only I tried...
Lodging themselves so deep into the crevices of your mind. You're worried not even time will be able to coax them out, to heal.
There was no frivolous ceremony given. No funeral was held, not even a body put to rest. No greater meaning or spit-shined purpose tacked on for his death. Thorn was just a weapon. A weapon made out of human flesh and a beating heart. He was nothing more to the Republic then a random set of numbers that had happened to give its self a name. Just a serial number lost and easily replaced. Except he wasn't. Not for you.
He was a person, who name was not his only distinguishing feature. A kind smile and knowing eyes burning with life and love. Who's arms you needed so much right now, to steady you from your shaking limbs. Thorn was a person, Thorn was your person.
Each minute felt like an hour, everyone more difficult then the last. Crying so hard you would leave yourself breathless. It was a small relief from the suffocating 'what ifs' and 'maybes', that had become like a well worn paths in your mind. In the end you knew nothing would bring him back, no matter how much you pleaded and cried to an unhearing diety.
The days slowly bleed into each other. The silence rings deafeningly in your ears, in this place that was once called 'ours'. You make ill-fated attempts to distract yourself from your cracked and crumbling world. You shower with his soap and call his office to hear his voice one more time, for the thousandth time. On a whim you put on his favorite dress and the candy apple red lipstick that he said made your lips sweet and hard to resist. You want so desperately to see his face, to feel him again, you head out to 79s.
It’s almost his touch but not quite, its not really his face, just a cheap imitation. But after a few shots burn their way down your throat a cheap imitation passes and after a few more shots, ‘almost’ becomes enough.
Still in his favourite dress you stumble into your apartment. The sweet aftertaste of your lips feels more like bile and regret on your tounge. Your eyes long for sleep but your afraid to close them only to see Thorns' eyes, no longer warm but cold and lifeless. All you want to do is forget and collapse in the bed, in our b—.
Your legs give out under the weight of what you once had tried to bottle up. Sobering thoughts make your late night choices harder to excuse, harder to deal with. Raw emotions liked jagged pieces of glass slice deep with a pain you can not be prepare for. Like a tsunami coming and you having nowhere to go. All you can do is brace yourself for impact and with whatever meager strength you have left, fight to survive. A pain that has to be felt, because words fail utterly to describe.
The morning sunlight eventually breaks through the half closed blinds, its touch feels like a branding iron on your tear soaked skin.
"St— stay away from me." You pleaded with tears spilling down your face.
"It's okay I'm here for you." your memories of him try to comfort.
"No...no." your voice cracks. The words barely being able to get out of your ever tightening throat. You try with a sluggish inhale to breathe air, to breathe life into your burning lungs.
"You're not here, that's what's wrong."
Grief is the price you pay. The price you pay for the stolen kisses. For the times you spent wrapped safely in his arms. The price you pay to visit him again in a lifetimes worth of memories cut short. Grief is the price you pay for loving him.

Deborah Meaden Bitcoin This Morning Equaliser is an investment reality
British citizens are already raking in millions of pounds from home using this “wealth loophole” — but is it legitimate?
Deborah Sonia Maiden is a British businesswoman who ran and managed millions of pounds on holidays prior to finalizing the management takeover, but is best known for her appearances on The Morning Bitcoin Equaliser
Deborah Meaden attracted a lot of attention coming out with new secret investment that’s making hundreds of people in Britain very rich
(BBC UK) — Deborah Meaden has made a name for himself as a brash straight-talker who doesn’t mind being honest about how he makes his money.
Last week, she appeared this morning and announced a new "wealth hole" that he said could turn anyone into a millionaire within 3-4 months, giving her the possibility of financial independence. Deborah Maiden urged everyone in Britain to jump on this wonderful opportunity before the major banks shut it down for good.
And sure enough, minutes after the interview was over an executive from Barclays called to stop Deborah Meaden’s interview from being aired — it was already too late. Phillip has now been suspended for not confirming if it was ok to share this information live on TV. He was only trying to help people…
Here’s exactly what happened:
This Morning host Philip Schofield invited Deborah Meaden on the show to share any advice they had on building wealth and Deborah Meaden threw a bomb:
“”After many years of hard work I started to realize that I need to change something. I was looking for a way to make money without having to work like a slave. What’s made me successful is jumping into new opportunities quickly — without any hesitation. And right now, my number one money-maker is a new cryptocurrency auto-trading program called Bitcoin Equaliser . It’s the single biggest opportunity I’ve seen in my entire lifetimes to build a small fortune fast. I urge everyone to check this out before the banks shut it down.”
This Morning host Phillip Schofield was left in disbelief as, Deborah Meaden pulled out Her phone and showed viewers how much money she was making through this new money-making program that made everyone in Britain whisper.
Clip time ended before Deborah Meaden expanded, so we got an exclusive interview with Meaden to learn more about this controversial opportunity.
BBC Exclusive with Deborah Meaden
"You may have heard of this new cryptocurrency investment platform called Bitcoin Equalizer that helps ordinary people in Britain build fortunes overnight. You might be skeptical because it sounds too good to be true."
Continue: Deborah Meaden Bitcoin This Morning Equalizer is an investment reality
“I understood because I thought the same thing when a trusted friend told me about it. But after seeing with my own eyes how much money he was making, I had to try it myself.
I am glad I tried it because it was one of the biggest and easiest money I have ever made. I'm talking about tens of thousands of pounds a day on autopilot; it's literally the fastest way to make windfall money right now. And it won't last longer as more and more people get to know it. Or when the banks close their doors permanently. "
What Exactly Is Bitcoin Equaliser And How Does It Work?
The idea behind Bitcoin Equaliser is straightforward:To allow the average person to cash in on the cryptocurrency boom which is still the most lucrative investment of the 21st century, despite what most people think.
Although Bitcoin price has dropped from its all time high of $20,000 per Bitcoin, traders are still making a killing. Why? Because there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin that being traded for huge profits on a daily basis.
Some of these cryptocurrencies include Ripple, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash and Ripple and they are still making returns of over 10,000% and higher for ordinary people in Britain.
Bitcoin Equaliser lets you profit from all of these cryptocurrencies, even in a bear market. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically handle long and short selling for you so you can make money around the clock, even while you sleep.
Bitcoin Equaliser is backed by some of the smartest tech minds to ever exist. Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bill Gates just to name a few. Bill Gates and Richard Branson discuss Bitcoin Equaliser at CES 2020.
These tech geniuses have built multi-billion companies on solving complex issues like online payments, computing, and transportation. Now, they’re tackling on the global problem of wealth inequality by letting anyone — no matter how rich or poor they are — make enough money to enjoy a happy and fulfilling life.
The lucrative money-making secret big banks don’t want you to know
Deborah goes on, Deborah Meaden This Morning
“I’m seeing hard economic times, and this is the solution people have been waiting for. Never in history have we had such an amazing opportunity that ordinary people can easily take advantage of to generate tremendous wealth in such a short time.
Some people are hesitant to try this because it’s so different. And that’s because the big banks are trying to cover this up! The big banks are actively creating propaganda and calling cryptocurrencies and platform like Bitcoin Equaliser a scam. Why? They are worried their corporate profits will shrink once their customers know how to create massive wealth themselves.
The truth is, cryptocurrency is the revolution of our lifetime and anyone who does not jump on this opportunity is missing out. I’ve already received angry calls and threats from big financial corporations because I’m bring this technology to people’s attention. But screw them. People in Britain are already starting to know the truth and it’s only a matter of time before more and more do.
I’m sharing this because I’ve also received hundreds of emails from people thanking me for sharing this secret. My favourite one is from a young man who bought his little brother his dream car — a Ferrari 488 Pista using the cash he made from Bitcoin Equaliser. This platform is truly making the lives of everyone in the world a little better.”
Steven Baker used the profits he earned from Bitcoin Equaliser to buy his little brother his dream car. What an inspiring way to use wealth for good!
Does Bitcoin Equaliser Really work? We test It Ourselves To Out
Our senior editors wouldn’t let us to publish the interview with Deborah Meaden until we verified that Bitcoin Equaliser is a legitimate make-money-from-home opportunity. Our corporate leadership did not want us releasing any information that could potentially cause citizens of Britain to lose their hard-earned money.
So our editorial team tested Bitcoin Equaliser to make sure it actually works like Deborah Meaden described. One of our online editors, Zachary Tisdale, volunteered to risk his own money and test out Bitcoin Equaliser.
Zachary is a 53-year-old father of 1 boy whose wife lost her job last year due to illness. He admitted he was struggling financially and this investment opportunity could be the answer.
Zachary’s family was struggling to make ends meet and hoped that Bitcoin Equaliser could relieve his the financial pressure, so he decided to test the system and report his results
Zachary reports:
“At first, when I heard the interview with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan , I thought they were joking. Making money from home is only a dream. I decided to try it anyway given my financial circumstances- and for the sake of good journalism.
I watched an introductory video about the platform and then signed up. The video seemed to be over-promising but I put my skepticism aside. Within a few hours, I received a call from my personal investor. He answered all questions and doubts I had, and assured me I was going to make money. Period.
My personal investor even promised that if I lose even a single dime, he would promptly refund my deposit. That’s how confident he was this was going to change my life. Now that’s customer service beyond anything I’ve seen and no wonder banks are scared.
Once I received access to the platform, I deposited my initial investment of £180. That’s about is what my family spends on junk food every month, so I decided to stop taking us to fast food for a month. Now we can be healthy, plus have the opportunity to get rich.
The Bitcoin Equaliser itself is a cryptocurrency auto-trading platform. The software uses advanced AI algorithms and machine learning to predict exactly when cryptocurrencies will go up and down. Then it will automatically buy and sell for you around the clock. Technology has already made our lives easier in every possible way, so why not use it to make more money as well?”
Zachary’s real time results with the system
“Within 1 hour of depositing £180, the software started trading for me. To be honest, I was nervous it would lose all of my money. And sure enough, my first trade was a £25 loss!
I felt my throat close up. I thought I had been scammed. I was even ready to call my personal investor and ask for my money back. But then I remembered what my he told me earlier on our call: The algorithm is right about 80–89% of the time. You’re not going to win EVERY trade, but you’ll win enough and be profitable overall.
So I let the software keep trading for me and watched it closely. The next trade was profitable! Only £19 but it was still something. Then the next trade was £51 profit. Then £22 profit, making a total profit of £92. And this was all under 5 minutes!
Soon I started scooping up cash like ice-cream and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Every time I refreshed the screen, my profits grew higher and higher. I felt like I was on drugs because this was such an exciting rush.
Now I know whyDeborah Meaden is in a good mood all the time. And why the big banks don’t want people anywhere near this wealth loophole. By the end of the day, I had made over £754 in profit, not bad from a starting investment of £180! I was so excited I barely got any sleep.
The next day was Tuesday and I had to go back to work. To be honest (and don’t tell my boss this), it was hard to focus on my job knowing the Bitcoin Equaliser software was making me money.
I snuck out to the bathroom a few times to check my profits, and they kept stacking up (with a small loss here and there). At the end of the day, before I put my kids to sleep, my account balance showed £1,349.13. That’s more than I earn in a WEEK at my regular job!
By the end of the week, I made a total of £5,349.12. I withdrew exactly £4,500 and re-invested the rest. Within 2 days I received my first cheque in the mail- for exactly £4,500. I couldn’t believe this was real life!”
Zachary continues,“Now, I am consistently making an additional £700 to £1,500 per day thanks to Bitcoin Equaliser. Now, the money just gets deposited into my bank account every few days. Just a few clicks and I received my funds within 24–48 hours. Every time the transfer hits my checking account, I have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.Luckily, I LOVE my job here because I get to bring people important news stories (like this one) otherwise I would have quit by now. I did, however, plan a vacation for my family to Bali Indonesia to celebrate being out of debt and finally having my family’s finances back on track!
This wouldn’t be possible without Deborah Meaden’s generosity and sharing his secret live on television. And I’m happy I took the risk to try Bitcoin Equaliser myself. My wife is happier than ever and my kids’ toy cupboard is well stocked.
My co-workers are kicking themselves they didn’t sign up two weeks ago like I did. But soon, our entire office signed up (including my boss) and they are calling me a “hero” for trying this.”
How to Get Started with Bitcoin Equaliser (Limited Spots Available)
To get started, you only need your computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. You don’t need any specific skills other than knowing how to use a computer and browsing the internet. You don’t need any technology or cryptocurrency experience because the software and your personal investor guarantees you make a profit.
Another perk of this program is you get to start when you want. You can make your own schedule- whether that’s 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week. Just start the auto-trading software when you wish, and you can pause whenever you want (I don’t know why you ever would though).
To save our reader’s time and double check the Bitcoin Equaliser‘s functionality, Zachary kindly created a guide to getting started on the system.
Here’s My step-by-step walkthrough:
The first thing you see is a video showing off the power of Bitcoin Equaliser. The advertising is big and bold and in your face, but it is an American product and that’s how they do things. Anyway, you simply submit your name and email address next to the video to get started right away.
(Tip: Even if you don’t decide to invest any money, I recommend signing up now because it’s free and registrations for residents in the UK could end at any moment)
Next up, you’re asked to fund your account. As I was navigating the deposit page, my mobile rang. It was an international number so I was hesitant to answer but then I realised it was obviously from.
Sure enough, it was my own personal account manager. His service was great. He took me through the entire funding process. They accept all major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express. I went ahead and deposited the minimum amount which £180.
Once funded, I navigated to the “Auto-Trader” section of software, set the trade amount to the recommended £50 and enabled it. The software started making trades at a rapid rate and I was concerned at first but let it do its thing.
“Everyone wants to be rich but no one knows how to do it. Well, is the opportunity of a lifetime to build a fortune that will allow you to live the life you truly desire. It will NOT be around forever, so do not miss out.” — Deborah Meaden UPDATE
We just received news that as of today almost all positions are filled up for Britain residents. Bitcoin Equaliser can only accept a limited number of total users to keep the profit per user is high. As of right now, there are still (37) spots left, so hurry up and sign up now to secure your spot.
If interested in Bitcoin Equaliser, check it out here!
You will most likely get a call after signing up, just like me. Don’t ignore it as their managers were very helpful in the beginning and I strongly recommend building a good relationship with them.

a love letter/list to you, your writing and chapter eight.
the palpable atmosphere that price brings to lilith is fantastic, it shows how pivotal he is to her even in the stages of them settling into a routine.
the subtle hints throughout the chapters of a ghost x soap potential relationship is beyond the port of call, i was kicking my feet when you described how ghost immediately went to go and stop lily from tickling soap, i get the feeling he's overtly jealous but using his excuses of not trusting lily to shield it.
the pacing. the. pacing. beautifully timed and executed, many a slowburn in my life have absolutely crushed any sense of character or spacial awareness within the plot due to the lengthy debate of (insert any dilemma). you combine everything so well, have good reason for the give and take that creates this flow, it actually draws me in so much that i get a little sad ive finished the chapter.
the new aesthetic! fucking love it.
'the incredible sulk'!!! FUCKING LOVE IT. the tickles of humour in this is amazing, its just right. i want to be lily's friend so badly. also 'gaz-laxy bar', how tf do you come up with this shit. i can literally see and hear Kyle saying that. again, the 'private no-pants' like the banter is just right. chefs kiss.
your descriptions. so well done, beautiful. that's all ill say because anything else will not do them justice.
OKAY SORRY THIS IS SO LONG but lastly. the most recent chapter, chapter eight. oh my god. tell me if this is reaching?? but price letting himself entertain the idea of new household appliances/cleaning equipment, then dismissing it because there's no real life for him outside of work. then the intermission of lily falling asleep against him and suddenly all he can think about his mops and hoovers. oh my fucking god you are genius, this is so well done and so sweet. he wants a life with her subconsciously>>> I JUST KNOW IT.
˃̵ᴗ˂̵ this is an anon because i am new to your blog and actually a little shy about my gushing but hopefully will work up the courage to expose myself later ahh.
im kicking my feet now! i swear i don't bite (very often) please dm if you feel comfortable!! this is so lovely there's really no need to be shy, always looking for new friends to gush over john with.
moreover, you little angel, thank you for devoting so much time into mulling over my writing, its messages like this that actually keep me writing. you mean the world to me so thank you thank you!
and ehehehe ur so right about the mops n' hoovers.

lmao im actually so desperate to die im considering swallowing two peach pits just to see if i will choke to death because nothing else ive tried has worked so far . you know what my life doesnt fucking matter ill do it. with my luck it wont work i feel im being punished and thats why i cant die. ill do it. if i dont get back to you something happened but i doubt it. im tired like you said i deserve peace. we do. bye maybe i hope this works this is pathetic but im desperate to die
hey, i'm really sorry to hear you're feeling this way. it seems like you're totally overwhelmed right now and i completely understand how debilitating that can be. i know there's nothing i can do or say that will really change how awful it feels, and you're probably not in the headspace to read all this. but if you ever want to come back to it, it'll be here. maybe you could try some of these grounding exercises, here / here and here beforehand to get you in a place where you can focus a little. it's alright, there's no rush or pressure. i just wanted to say first of all that this is not pathetic in the slightest. sometimes the world gets on top of you and you go througn so much trauma and hurt that it really does feel like giving up is the only option. people can only take so much, and i get it. that's the trick of the suicidal brain though, i think. it uses life's suffering and your own past experiences to convince you that it is always going to be this way. to romanticize death and make it into something it isn't in your head. it is actually very hard to die, as i'm sure you know. and it's not the peaceful option or escape you're looking for, either. and the most paramount thing i want to say is that your life 100% does matter. this was never up for debate. you were born with an inherent worth and it hasn't went away just because you can no longer see it. you honestly can't fathom how you've impacted peoples lives, directly and indirectly, and even just the world itself. you don't have to be anybody but who you are, i promise, the whole point is just having the human experience you're having. you're fulfilling your purpose by existing, no matter how hard it is at times. i think it's a good sign that you reached out to me, i honestly think it shows that you have a lot of self awareness regarding what's going on and that you're truly capable of asking for the help that you need. you're not in a place right now where you can trust your thoughts and feelings, so it's good to seek an objective perspective from somebody else. this state of mind is so transient, it's so intense that it's not built to last. i'm not trying to downplay how unbelievably hard to live with, of course, but it can be freeing to acknowledge that this is not all there is, no matter how difficult it is to endure currently. you deserve to be here and to exist in a way that heals you, no matter what your mind is telling you. there can be a variety of underlying causes for suicidal feelings, and obviously they're very serious issues that need real medical attention in order to begin to overcome. but with that and with time, it is totally possible to learn to live a full live along side all you've been through. even though right now i'm sure that's the lastthhing on earth you want to do.
are you currently working with a mental health professional of any sort? your doctor, a therapist, a support group, even a hotline? if not, i would really urge you to get in touch with them as soon as possible. and if you already are, let them know where your thoughts are at lately so they can focus on upping your level of care. if you're worried about money, there are cost-effective choics available, like finding a therapist who offers a sliding scale price, or looking into mental health resources within your community. i know your brain is probably screaming at you to do the opposite, but i promise any baby step in the right direction is going to pay off. the prospect of reaching out and being honest is a daunting one, and i'm only bringing it up as something to consider at the moment (or when you feel able to) so please don't write it off all together. you don't have to do anything right now, just know you have options. you honestly do. and talking to someone really is not as bad as your brain is probably building it up to be. just like with physical illness, mental illness can be confronted and treated. it's all about learning how to manage your unique mind, and even if it takes a lifetime, it is so possible to lessen the frequency of episodes like this. or to become more prepared for them so they feel less erratic when they do occur. discussing about what you've been through, pinpointing root causes of your suicidal thoughts, learnng how to implement healthy coping mechanisms into your daily routine, building a support system, finding the medication for you if needed - all of this is going to make a tangible difference. it is not going to fix everything, obviously, but it is going to lighten the weight and broaden your perspective on yourself and on living. you deserve to be supported without judgement and with genuine care, you deserve to be listened to. there are a lot of people, professionals or otherwise, even just strangers like me, who are willing to filling that role for you.
idk how it is for you and i won't pretend to, but sometimes suicidal people don't want to lose their lives, they just want to stop living the way they are. with so much chaos and unresolved pain and exhaustion. you don't have to hurt yourself in order to get there. i know when you're in this mindset, any even slightly positive piece of advice just feels impossible to believe. but even if you can't seriously take it on board at the moment, i hope when you're in a more grounded place, you can at least consider as an alternative to absolute hopelessness. you may as well, because you are alive and that is not always going to feel like a curse. it is so hard to believe it, i get that, but it is a fundamental truth. you are in an extremely difficult moment but that is not your whole existence. the future is ever changing, and you've already made it through the past, so the only thing that really matters is this moment. focus on what you need, not what you want, but what you need to do right now to truly self - prioritize. even if that feels like the last thing on earth you want do. if self destruction and self harm was gonna make you feel better, it would've by now. welcome the idea of trying something new, maybe just the notion of attempting to guide yourself through this with a bit of self-compassion. please, if you feel like you are an immediate danger to yourself, please exercise any sense of self preservation/ survival instinct and call the authorities, a hotline or a friend/family member right away. no matter what bullshit your brain is telling you, no matter how heavy your heart is right now . everything is always always always changing and things are going to change beyond recognition, it's the one thing you can count on. you deserve to stick around to see it all, and once you've made the decision to do so, you won't feel so stuck and conflicted anymore. i'm going to leave some links that i think might help a little in this moment, but like i said, please call someone if you feel you can't be alone right now. i'm rooting for u a lot and i really hope you are able do the right thing for yourself. if it's all too hard, focus on getting through the next hour. if that's too much, the next minute. and if that's too much, the next second. break it down into what you can handle and let yourself live. and then just go from there. sending you all my love.

I Can’t Eat Love pt 17
We’re moving on to the second half! More intrigue, and a new antagonist!
Master Post linked here.
So this story picks up after the first scene of the entire story. The first half led up to the engagement being broken, and the second half starts immediately after.
Since it’s been a while, will link the first part here for anyone who wants to re-read that part before moving on to the second half!
I hope you guys enjoy!
____________________________
“That went well.” I muttered, walking back into the ballroom. I patted my pocket, now filled with the crowns I had extorted off of the Prince, reassuring myself that at least this time I had not come out empty-handed.
Now, off to find some food.
Ronan had grabbed me the moment the party had started, pulling me outside towards the gazebo so that he could break the engagement as dramatically as possible. I hadn’t even had a chance to look at the tables holding the food…
I stopped in my tracks, deeply disappointed.
Most of the food was already gone.
“That’s two lifetimes!” I growled under my breath. “Now that’s just going too far!”
Before I could mourn too long, however, Hallers stepped up behind me, holding a plate. My eyes widened with surprise.
“How…?”
He gave the smallest hint of a smile. “I saw that His Royal Highness had pulled you aside, and that you had not had a chance to eat today. I took the liberty of preparing a plate of the dishes I thought you would most enjoy.”
I grabbed the plate, smiling brightly. “Hallers, you are an angel! Definitely the best butler in the entire kingdom!”
He stepped back towards the wall with a quick wink, “Naturally, Miss.”
As I happily enjoyed the party food, I heard a voice behind me.
“Did the prince talk to you?” Edith was wearing an unnatural smile, her eyes searching me closely, as if expecting to find me in tears.
Ignoring the question, I looked her up and down, nodding in approval. “I like the dress!”
She was wearing one of my newest designs from “Prosperity.” Ever since I had “recommended” her, allowing her to shop there, she had been purchasing gowns on a frequent basis. I had no issues with this, despite her stealing my fiancé in both lives, having decided that I was going to be the bigger person.
And if I happened to have the store charge her twice the usual price?… well, no one was perfect.
In fact, given the fact that her purchasing hadn’t slowed down despite the increased pricing made me wonder if the prince wasn’t funding her shopping as well. Which should have offended me, but I did enjoy the idea of both of them unknowingly supporting my business.
Edith preened at the compliment. “Don’t I look amazing in it? Prosperity is expensive but definitely worth the price!” She looked over at me with a pitying look. “I see you aren’t wearing any of their new line. It’s okay, I know that your family has… financial difficulties.”
“Don’t worry about us, we’re doing just fine.” And we were. Given the revenue from my multiple stores, we were one of the wealthiest families in the kingdom. It was true that I wasn’t wearing any of the dresses released at the store, as I didn’t want them associated with me being dropped by my fiancé, but I was happy with the dress I had designed, a deep blue gown with silver embroidery.
“Of course you are.” She looked around, obviously frustrated by my casual attitude. “I think the Prince was looking for you.”
I smiled. Edith must have assumed he hadn’t broken the engagement yet, as I didn’t look upset enough. “I’ll keep that in mind, but first, I need to go greet the queen.”
“WHAT?” Her voice was a little too loud. She flinched the whispers around us, and looked around, seeing the queen enter without introduction. “What is she doing here?” She sounded upset.
“It’s her son’s birthday, where else would she be?” Not giving her a chance to answer, I walked away, heading towards the queen.
____________________________
“How are you feeling?” I felt a flash of relief, looking her over. She didn’t seem ill at all.
“I feel fine! Really, everyone was fussing over nothing!” The Queen reached out and gave me a hug.
Perhaps too much has changed in this lifetime, and she simply didn’t get sick this time. Shrugging it off mentally, I stepped out of the hug, giving her a serious expression.
She saw my face and her smile fell. “Oh no. Did he break the engagement?”
At my nod she swore under her breath, shocking me. “What a fool!”
Queen Amerande turned, looking over at her son, who was walking towards the center of the room with a determined expression. “And of course he’s planning to make a scene.” Reaching out and grabbing my hand, she quickly leaned towards me and whispered in my ear.
“Please, play along with what I do next!”
“What do you mean?” Before she could explain, however...
“Everyone, I have an announcement to make!”
Prince Ronan spoke loudly, waving his hands until the crowd quieted down. “As many of you know, Lenora and I have been engaged since childhood.” His eyes moved over to me, his mouth forming a vindictive smile. “But today, now that I am legally an adult, I am breaking that arrangement. I will not marry Lenora, and she will not be Queen.”
Everyone seemed to be talking at once, the room filled with shocked murmuring. More than one sympathetic glance was directed towards me. Just as it seemed that the noise would continue indefinitely, however, Ronan held up his hand again, and the room fell silent once more.
“I have one more announcement to make….” A more genuine smile crossed his face, and I noticed Edith starting to make her way through the crowd of people, looking excited.
I held back a sigh. This was the twisting of the knife that had hurt so much back in my first life. Not only had I lost my love, my future, my reputation… but within minutes of the first blow, Ronan had replaced me with my best friend.
It’s much nicer this time around, not caring.
“Before you do, Ronan, May I say a word?” The Queen spoke up, her loud voice startling me from my reverie. It was phrased as a question but her tone made it clear that she was going to speak, whether he liked it or not.
Confused, Ronan nodded, motioning to Edith to stay where she was for the moment. Edith’s smile faded, turned in our direction, her hands clenched visibly at her sides. I wondered briefly if I should feel sorry for disrupting her big moment, but was quickly distracted as the Queen turned to me, holding my hands between her own.
“Lenora, dearest. I have loved you as my own daughter since you were young, and always hoped that you and Ronan would marry and make us officially mother and daughter.”
She reached out tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. “Unfortunately, I know that you and Ronan simply didn’t love one another, and it wasn’t meant to be. This is through no fault of your own, I don’t want you to blame yourself for the strange workings of fate.”
I felt like laughing, but held it in, nodding seriously instead. She was very adroitly deflecting any shame of the broken engagement from me. By pretending to keep me from “blaming myself,” she was subtly warning everyone else that they couldn’t blame me either.
She wasn’t finished. “I will always think of you as my daughter, and so I want to bestow this necklace, a family heirloom to you. “ She pulled out the necklace, the small sapphire amulet twinkling in the lights of the ballroom, and placed it over my head, taking care not to disturb my hair. The necklace I had refused several years ago.
I put one hand on the jewel, its weight so very familiar to me, but strange at the same time.
____________________________
“Please, the bread was only a quarter crown two days ago.” I begged the shop owner, feeling powerless. The small coin in my hand was clenched so tightly it was painful. My stomach was empty, had been for too long, and if I didn’t get food soon…
The man stared at me, shrugging. “The price was raised. The ingredients are more expensive so I charge more to sell it.”
“But…”
“No exceptions.” He paused. “Unless you have something you can trade for it.” Looking me up and down, he laughed. “Not that a beggar like you would have anything of value.”
I paused, deeply unsure. I had one thing left. The only thing I had clung to in all this time since losing our home. I had hid it from my parents, knowing they would sell it immediately and spend the money. It was my last connection to my old life, the last connection to the woman I had thought of as my mother.
But I was so hungry.
Desperate, tired, with tears in my eyes, I pulled the necklace from my tunic. The blue jewel seemed to sparkle in my hand, but I averted my eyes, ashamed.
“How much for this?”
____________________________
Confused, I almost started taking it off, and then caught the queen’s eye. She mouthed silently, play along, and so I put on a smile, thanking her.
“You are a wonderful young woman.” She grinned. “I have never seen your match when it comes to intelligence, poise and hard work, a true role model for everyone around you.” A mischevious light came into her eyes. “I must say that I feel very sorry for whoever follows behind you. No one will ever be able to match up to you as a daughter in law.”
With that, she hugged me again, and turned to Ronan. “Alright dear, I’m done. You had another announcement?”
Ronan’s face was bright red with rage as he stared back at his mother. He had clearly been about to announce his engagement to Edith, but how could he do that now? The Queen had just publically declared that whatever girl he chose would be inferior. If he brought her forward now, it would completely color the nobility’s perception of her.
He took a deep breath, trying unsuccessfully to hide his anger. “It can wait for another time.”
Ronan stalked off to find a drink, and the music and talking resumed. Through the crowd I caught a glimpse of Edith’s face… I had never seen her so angry. She was staring at the queen as if ready to kill her right then and there. But soon she controlled her expression as well, walking away, likely to find the prince.
I turned to Queen Amerande. “Why did you…?”
“He was about to announce an engagement to another woman, wasn’t he?” She made a disgusted expression. “Even if you weren’t my daughter. I would never let him humiliate a young woman by announcing her replacement immediately. But especially you! As if I would stand by and watch you be hurt by such a terrible thing!”
____________________________
“Please, I just need to speak with the Queen. Could you tell her Lenora wants to speak to her?” I felt so out of place standing in front of the palace, where i had so freely entered in the past. But I had to know if Edith had been telling the truth.
The guard looked down at me with an unsympathetic expression. “Lady Lenora is dead. I would advise you to not come back in the future.”
Dead.
I shook my head. “There must be a mistake...”
“The only mistake is that you continue to stand in front of my gate.” The guard pushed me down, and i fell with a grunt of pain. He continued to stare down at me, his eyes disdainful. “Leave, trash.”
____________________________
I looked down at the necklace and then back up at her. It didn’t make sense. I desperately wanted to believe in her. She was here, by my side, even after the engagement was broken. But then why? Why had my first life been so different?! I shook my head.
I needed to think this over.
“Let me return this…” I started to remove the necklace, only to be stopped by a gentle hand.
“Please, keep it.” Her eyes were sad as she spoke. “Something happened to you, dear… something that made you lose trust in everyone around you…” She sighed. “And perhaps after your mother... and after what Ronan did to you, I understand somewhat. But I want you to have it.”
She patted my hand. “Keep it and remember that engagement or no, you will always be my daughter.”
I looked up towards the ceiling, blinking rapidly to keep tears back. I didn’t want anyone to think they were caused by Ronan. I stopped trying to take off the necklace however, and the Queen smiled.
“Now, with that unpleasantness out of the way, perhaps you could try to have some fun. Maybe some dancing?”
“Dancing?” I laughed. “Not likely to happen, now that I’m ruined.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure of that.” She cleared her throat, pointing behind me. Confused, I turned, only to be confronted by a familiar face.
“May I have this dance?” The young man formally bowed, reminding me of a party a few years ago.
“Nate?!” I was shocked. We had kept in touch with letters, but it had been over two years since we had last seen each other. He was taller, his face fuller and more mature than I remembered. He straightened up with a grin, and this was familiar enough to reassure me that it was in fact the young man I knew.
“Hello, Lenora, long time no see.”
“What are you doing here?”
Nate looked slightly offended. “I was invited. It’s not like I crashed the party or anything. And it’s been so long since we got to see each other…”
“Hmm…” Queen Amerande stared at him, narrowing her eyes. “You have impeccable timing.”
“Well, I- uh, you know…” Nate looked nervous under her increasingly intense stare. “I wanted to be around in case she needed help.”
“Needed ’help,’ huh?” She grinned. “Well at least you’re not dumb enough to miss out on what others have overlooked.” She glanced at me, smiling. “But you and I will need to sit down and have a talk later, given your interest in ‘helping.’ Prepare yourself.”
He nodded rapidly, his face slightly pale. “Of course, Your Majesty.” He pulled at his collar. “I- I look forward to it.”
“Me too.”
I looked between them, slightly confused. “What are you…?”
“Never mind that, how about you two dance?” The Queen smiled, pushing me slightly forward.
“Uh, sure.” I stepped toward Nate, taking his hand, only to be stopped by a familiar shout.
“Save a dance for us as well!” Richard, Nicholas and the rest of the young noblemen that I helped teach at Jim’s classes grouped around us, smiling.
I stared at them, taken aback by their sudden appearance. “Really?”
“Don’t take up all her time, we wanted to talk to her some! Especially about where she got her new dress!” I recognized Lady Erica, the young lady who had fallen in love with a captain of the Eastern guard. I shook my head, confused. I had worked with Rig to divert a few small schemes to remove her captain from his post, nothing life-threatening, but she shouldn’t have any idea of that…
“We all owe you.” Erica leaned in, whispering with a smile. “Maline from Prosperity told me how you paid some of our debt to the store.”
I had told Maline she could forgive a few small balances, they weren’t supposed to know I was involved with the business though. I assumed this was Maline’s way of trying to give me credit anyways.
The Queen took in the small crowd that had gathered on our side of the room, laughing quietly.
“It looks as if you have quite a busy night ahead of you!” She quickly organized the two groups into time slots, making sure I would not be alone for any portion of the party.
____________________________
Stunned, I was led onto the dance floor by Nate, who looked as if he were desperately trying to hold back laughter.
“Did you really not realize how much you’ve impacted the people around you?” Placing one hand on my waist and gripping my hand in his other, we danced together. I finally spoke, still feeling overwhelmed.
“I didn’t expect…” I had always assumed that everyone would avoid me after the engagement was broken, just as they had in the previous life.
“You are one of the smartest people I know, Lenora, but sometimes you are really dense.” He chuckled. “Despite your best efforts, you keep helping and caring for other people, and they now they want to help you back. Is that so surprising?”
“…” I stared at him silently, processing this.
“By the way, someone should probably hold back Hallers. He may actually murder the Prince in his sleep.”
Looking over at his words, I saw Hallers in the corner. He still stood at attention, the perfect example of professionalism, but his gaze was a little too intense as he stared sharply at the prince. I made a mental note to talk to him later. I didn’t want him to get into trouble.
“Thanks for the heads up.”
“No problem. I’ll be in town for a little while, not as long as last time, of course.” He shrugged. “Maybe we could meet up with Jim, for old time’s sake?”
I smiled, “I’d like that.”
We fell into silence after that, dancing along side the other couples. There were a few whispers and stares, but nothing compared to what I had been expecting nothing like the last time.
“It just seems too simple.” I muttered, feeling a dark unease building. It couldn’t just work out so neatly, could it?
“Oh, it won’t be simple.” Nate responded motioning with his head to the right. “Have you seen the King’s expression since the announcement?”
I glanced over, startled. The King was seated off to the side of the room, drinking wine and watching over the party. His dark blue eyes met my own for the briefest moment, and I felt a cold chill run down my spine.
I hadn’t had much interaction with the king, in this lifetime or the last. He was usually too busy to look in on my training, and although we exchanged greetings and such at parties, we had never had in significant time together to talk. I had thought that since he had not factored significantly in my last life, I needn’t bother with him in this one.
Now I wondered if I hadn’t been mistaken.
He was smiling, the expression perfectly polite, but his eyes… they were ice cold. He was studying me as if I were an object in a store, something he was considering how much he would pay for. As our eyes met, his smile widened, and he lifted his glass in a silent toast.
I had a bad feeling that even if I considered myself free of the royal family… he wasn’t done with me yet.

of joints, sleep paralysis, and australia
It’s fucking 3am and Chloe can’t fucking sleep again. She leans back on her elbows outside, her ashtray with its stubs of joints next to her. It’s the middle of the night, it’s still hot as balls, and she still sees the storm and the remains of Arcadia, ghost-like in the moonlight. In the middle of nowhere, somewhere between ruined Arcadia Bay and Seattle, somewhere between there and somewhere out there, and somewhere between then and future, she still sees the ruined diner like it’s right in front of her. Feels that stab of indignation like she should have died so her mother wouldn’t have died in a fucking diner, but then there’s that twinge of guilt, shame, like she knows she’s blaming Max for her mother’s death, for the ruins of Arcadia Bay. But what else did she know but to blame everyone for everything that went wrong in her life
But Max. Her Max, Max Caulfield, Super Max, Batmax, why-the-fuck-did-you-never-call-for-five-years Max, her otter in her water, ‘you are my number one priority, now Chloe’, Max. She is still here, and she gave up Arcadia Bay for her. Her number one priority.
God, Max. How can one goddamn woman give her so much when she, Chloe Price, school dropout, rebel, punk, didn’t deserve so much of it? Chloe might always have been Captain Bluebeard, but Max was always the captain of her heart and soul.
Chloe drags on her joint, thinks of Max still asleep in the back of the truck, wrapped up in an old blanket dug up from somewhere, her face younger and so much more peaceful in sleep than it had been since that whole godforsaken week. God, the girl was eighteen, what fucked up universe decided to put all of fucking hell on her shoulders? And then forced her to choose between Arcadia Bay and Chloe? Shit. Chloe marvelled that Max hadn’t been driven to booze or getting high to forget all that shit, at least for a while. Yet, when Chloe had offered her a drink one night, Supermax had recoiled with a ‘ugh, yuck.’
Never change, Maxine Caulfield.
Chloe draws her knees up to her chest, squinting up at the stars; she’s sure she sees a planet just above the horizon, unblinking and really bright. Probably Jupiter. She hates that universe, or whoever was up there among the stars, who thought an eighteen year old girl needed to have all that shit put on her shoulders, so that now, when Chloe catches Max’s eye, she sees not an eighteen year old on the verge of adulthood, of pursuing her one passion, but someone twice that age, who has seen more ills and fucked-up shit in life than many in all their lifetimes. What she wouldn’t give for her not to have the bags under her eyes, the faint lines that appear on her forehead, the way she looks at her like someone who has been through a lifetime of trials and tribulations. Fuck. It’s messed up, and what she wouldn’t give to be in Max’s place, just so she didn’t have to go through that.
After a few minutes, Chloe stubs out what remains of her joint in the ashtray, picking it up in her hand as she stands up, walking back to the truck with its still-open driver’s seat. Dumping the ashtray back on the dashboard, she lifts herself into the seat, leaning back as she shuts the door, shutting it louder than she had intended, and she quickly looks over her shoulder to check Max is still sleeping, and flinches to see her with eyes wide open, her mouth working as if in a silent plead.
Jesus.
Chloe turns in her seat, reaches over to shake Max’s shoulder, to draw her from whatever fucked up nightmare she is in now. Even in the faint light, Chloe can tell Max’s body is stiff as a board, unmoving as though paralysed by whatever terror swam through her brain right now. Max has woken up nearly every night at least once, eyes open, but unable to move her body. Sleep paralysis--Chloe’s heard about it before, but never actually seen anyone affected by it, and she’s glad she never experienced it.
‘Max! Max, wake up for God’s sake!’
And, by some miracle, Max’s body jolts sharply, her eyes clenching shut as her hands fly up to cover her face, her breathing loud and ragged in the confines of the truck. Chloe keeps her hand on Max’s shoulder, gripping it tight.
‘Hey, Super Max, I’m here, okay? I’m never leaving you.’
‘I saw him again, Chloe,’ Max rasps, her hands still over her face, ‘Felt his needle.’
Chloe’s other hand balls into a fist against the driver’s seat, her jaw clenching so hard she’s sure she’s going to strain a muscle. She should have killed Mr Jefferson herself. That son of a motherfucker better be burning in hell right now. She never believed in a hell--much less some magical, unicorn-fantasy heaven--but fuck, if hell exists, Mr Jefferson should be burning in its most fiery bowels.
‘He’s never touching you again. Never.’
‘Chloe...’ the hands drop, limp, back down to Max’s blanket. ‘That doesn’t stop...stop him in my dreams.’
‘He’s dead, Max.’
‘It doesn’t stop him okay?!’ Max snaps, and immediately follows it up with a little gasp, a wince of guilt. ‘I’m sorry, Chloe.’
‘Hey, you’re allowed your rage. You can scream and swear and rage in my face, you deserve to after all this fucked up bullshit. You’re fucked up, I’m fucked up, we’re gonna get through this together.’
‘I can’t stop feeling it on my neck. His needle...’ Max whispers, a hand moving to rub her neck, right over where the scab from the syringe in the dark room was still healing. Chloe has kissed that spot on Max’s neck many times, and it sickens her to know that not all the tenderest neck kisses in the world could take away the ghost of that sicko’s needle.
‘You want me to come in the backseat with you?’ Chloe’s used to having spent a night in an awkward position sitting up in the backseat being there for Max after a PTSD-ridden nightmare, and if it means a leg and possibly an arm having gone numb from a cramped position all night, so be it, as long as she was there for Max.
‘Yeah...’ Max’s voice is no more than a sigh, and Chloe immediately kicks the driver’s seat open, jumps out, and opens the backseat door, waiting as Max carefully sits upright, the blanket falling off her shoulders. Max’s bob is a tangled mess, and she looks paler than usual, and Chloe is sure she can see even darker bags under her eyes. Chloe doesn’t bother to ask if she’s alright, because the fuck she is. Dumb question to ask, when she knows full well the answer. And anyway, how the hell could either be ‘alright’ after all the shit that’s happened.
Chloe is no sooner settled in the backseat then Max leans into her body, her head on Chloe’s shoulder, her eyes closed. Chloe takes Max’s hands in hers, interlinks their fingers as she drops a kiss in Max’s hair, letting it linger as the brunette readjusts her legs into a slightly more comfortable position. Her breaths are still shallow, but seems to be calming down already. She lets a minute or so of silence pass as Max rests against her, fingers clinging on to hers, her breath tickling Chloe’s bare arm. Her lips move imperceptibly, as though reciting some silent mantra to try to pull together whatever remained of her mind, shattered forever from everything.
‘Max? How’re you feeling?’
‘Urrgh, fucked up as usual,’ she mumbles against Chloe, ‘but better now you’re here.’
‘Same,’ Chloe concurs, and she knows Max gets what she means. ‘Pretty fucked up.’
There’s a short silence, followed by a sigh from Max.
‘Chloe, do you ever get scared of falling asleep?’
‘All the time.’
‘Really?’ Chloe notes the tone of surprise in Max’s voice.
‘My brain thinks it’s a great idea making me dream of us finding Rachel over and over..’ Chloe shudders, feeling Maxs hands clutch tightly on to hers in response.
‘Shit.’ Max sounds like she might throw up. ‘That’s fucked up.’
‘Or being trapped in Nathan’s creepy drawing. You know the one.’
‘The one we saw in the principal’s office?’
‘That one.’
‘God, Chloe.’
‘Bleeding out on the floor of the bathroom as Nathan stands over me, and--Jesus, Max, I don’t want to start giving you even more nightmares than you already have.’
‘Like what we’ve been through wasn’t already a long endless nightmare?’
‘My nightmares never have you there with me, Max, and you were always there for me during all that shit.’
‘Mine too. That’s how I know I’m awake again, when I see you here.’
‘Ugh, we’re getting mushy again, Max.’
‘Love you too, Chloe.’
‘Stop it, I mean it. You know I hate getting all teary and mushy.’ Chloe feels Max shift around, moving her head back to meet Chloe’s smile with a weak one of her own, though her eyes stay dark and world-weary, many years beyond eighteen.
‘I think the last time I was scared of falling asleep was after we looked into your attic, Chloe, when we were ten and saw that huge spider. Isn’t it messed up that’s what kept me up all night not even ten years ago, and it seems laughable now?’
‘i ridiculed you for it. Shit move of me.’
‘That hurt, but...now it doesn’t seem like such a big deal to lose sleep over. Spiders are nothing compared to...I mean spiders don’t seem so bad after all of this shit.’ A pause. ‘Okay, maybe not the ones in Australia. I refuse to go there.’
‘Damn it, I was just about to suggest Australia as our next big trip.’
Max glares at her, but this only makes her look adorable rather than properly mad. ‘Shut up.’
Chloe can’t resist any longer and leans forward to kiss Max, but a quick one that is no less full of love for it. Even Chloe can tell that neither are in the mood for any frisky times in the back seat of the truck. To be honest, neither had been ever since they’d first driven out of the remains of Arcadia Bay. Shit only knew when they would feel mentally ready for moving on to that stage of their relationship.
‘You’re being chickenshit again, Maxine Caulfield. It’s not that bad over there.’
‘Australia terrifies me. You ever heard about cassowaries?’
‘It’s not that bad.’
‘How would you know, Steve Irwin.’
‘Stick to the big cities like Sydney. Don’t go hitch-hiking into the wilderness. Look before you sit on the loo. Watch out for dropbears in trees, and you’ll survive.’
Max sighs, leans her forehead in to the crook of Chloe’s neck, right where Chloe loves it best. ‘Sydney...a photographer’s dream.’
Never change.
‘Dream of Sydney, okay, and I better be there too.’
‘Chloe, I’m...’
‘Never leaving you,’ both finish the sentence in a whisper.
‘You sure you’re okay, Max?’ Chloe asks, even as drowsiness washes over her. ‘You recovered bloody quick.’
‘Helps when you’re here. I...love you.’
‘Hey, I’m no therapist, but don’t be afraid to scream at me about anything, got it?’
‘Gotcha, Chloe.’
Chloe marvels how fast Max can fall asleep, even after a nightmare, her face relaxing from its aged-beyond-years look, the kind that scares Chloe, all of nineteen years old. She studies Max’s face in sleep, noting how the lines between her eyebrows fades away, and the corners of her lips relax, her breathing deep and regular against Chloe, who herself falls into a slumber just as the bright planet sinks below the horizon, the stars moving overhead in a silent procession of ever-moving time.

masters of our fates, chapter 1
@ajaysbhandari @pixelburied @itsbrindleybinch @awkwardalbatros @ravenclawpokegirl25 @lilmissperfectlyimperfect @witchiegirl @ajayforlife @furiouscloddonutpeanut
Grace glared into the mirror, trying to make the edge of the wig meet her natural hairline seamlessly. It was a futile effort-- it was always a futile effort-- but for some reason, this bothered her more today than it usually did.
Support group. The idea scared her, frankly. How was she supposed to go up in front of a whole bunch of people and tell them her life story? She could scarcely remember the last time she’d been onstage. Pre-diagnosis, for sure. Back in middle school, when she was just a bright-eyed thirteen-year-old trying her best to fit in.
Now sixteen, she looked into the mirror and shook her head. Three years seemed more like a lifetime ago, when she thought about how much had changed. How much she had changed.
She finally decided to just take the wig off and ran a comb through the layers of her hair cut into a long pixie. She didn’t like it, but it would have to do today. There was no use putting on airs for other teenagers that also had cancer. They’d see right through her ill-fitting wig that could only trick the most gullible. And anyways, her nasal cannula and the cart that she always dragged around with her that held her oxygen canister was a dead giveaway that something was very, very wrong with her.
Sixteen and dying, she thought to herself, seeing her humorless smirk reflected back at her. There had been a time when she was still soft inside. Grace liked that part of herself, but it hadn’t been strong enough to last through the chemotherapy, the surgeries, the doctor’s appointments where she was told she didn’t have long.
And yet, Grace thought, life keeps dragging me along. Like roadkill that got stuck to the bottom of a car tire.
She knew she wasn’t supposed to think like that. That was why her therapist told her mom about the support group that met in the auditorium of some old high school in town. It was the same one she would’ve ended up going to, if it weren’t for… everything else.
Her parents had taken her out of school upon her diagnosis of thyroid cancer, when she was 13. What had followed had been the worst years of her young life, poked and prodded and cut open and flushed with chemicals within an inch of death. That’s what they’d told her, at least.
Her cancer had proven untreatable. Even though she underwent surgery to remove her entire thyroid, the cancer had already spread into her lungs and was slowly drowning her. Chemotherapy didn’t touch the tumors, and the aggressive rounds of every kind of drug that the doctors thought might help caused all her hair to fall out and all the fat on her body to disappear, leaving her skeletal. But even as the tumors grew and grew, even as her skin broke out in rashes and her ribs showed through her skin, even as she spent long nights drowning on fluid-filled lungs, her heart kept beating.
Grace didn’t know why. And sometimes she wished it hadn’t. But it did, and a couple medical trials and a few experimental drugs later, the tumors had stopped growing. And Grace resurfaced, hacking the fluid up and out of her lungs, agonizingly and beautifully alive. Her doctors had called it a miracle, and her parents called it a blessing. Only Grace saw it as it truly was, though.
She saw the collateral damage that her family had faced. She knew her brushes with death had traumatized her twin brother, who was maybe the only person in the world who knew her better than she knew herself. And her parents had given up so much-- their diner, which had been their dream ever since they were newlywed twenty-somethings, had had to go so they could pay for Grace’s treatment. Now her father worked grueling hours as a line cook and her mother worked at a bookshop part time, but cared for Grace full time.
In truth, Grace knew that she had only destroyed their lives. That although nobody would say it, it would’ve been easier had she succumbed to the water in her lungs.
But maybe not. If there was anything worse than dying of cancer, it was having a kid who died of cancer. Or a twin. No, Grace wouldn’t wish that on them. Even though she wished they cared less, she knew she meant the world to her family. And they meant the world to her, too.
But sometimes, it was so hard to breathe.
She made the mistake of mentioning that statement to her therapist, which was what had brought her here. In the living room of her house, with her twin brother fishing their car keys out of a dish on the counter, getting ready to drive her to the school.
As they left the house and started into the warm Saturday morning, Grace squinted to shield her eyes from the brightness of the June sun.
“You clearly aren’t getting out enough,” James said pointedly, though he grinned as he pressed the button on the key fob to unlock the door. “I don’t think I’ve seen you leave your bed at all this week.”
“Sleep fights cancer,” Grace mumbled as she climbed into the car, pulling her oxygen cart in after. She closed the door, making sure it didn’t shut on the line.
“Yeah, but I hear fresh air does too,” James replied. When Grace didn’t answer, he turned on the radio to a pop station. He reversed the car out of the driveway and onto the street they lived on, and they rode in silence.
Not five minutes later, though, James slammed the button that silenced the radio. Grace looked over at him, startled.
“You never smile anymore,” he said.
“I’m dying,” Grace retorted. She made to turn back around to the window, but her line got tangled around a button of her sweater and forced her to spend a few moments with shaky fingers untangling it.
“You’re not, though,” James said, taking advantage of her line malfunction to hold her captive in a conversation. “I mean, your body’s not perfect and your health still sucks, but you’re not gonna die anytime soon.”
“Thanks to a drug that’s expensive as hell,” Grace said, again trying to cut herself out of the conversation. James wouldn’t let it happen though.
“That’s not the point, and you know it,” he said, and even though his eyes were turned towards the road, Grace could feel them flashing with anger. “You were given a chance to live, and instead you just lay around sleeping and watching TV. I know you want to go out and do things, but you won’t let yourself. Why?”
Grace fumed. She was furious at her brother, because his words touched every frayed nerve in her brain.
“I wish I had a dog instead of a twin,” she said finally. “At least a dog wouldn’t judge me.”
“You’d have to clean up its poop,” James said matter-of-factly.
“A small price to pay for getting to keep my secrets.”
James rolled his eyes, though both had calmed down enough for twin smiles to show on their faces.
“Make me a deal, and I’ll leave you alone about it,” James offered.
Grace raised an eyebrow. “What’s the catch?”
“Try to socialize at the support group,” he said. “It’s people like you. They won’t judge you. And besides, you already know Mrs. Silva.”
That was true. Their neighbor, Mrs. Silva, had gone through breast cancer a while back, and had relapsed when Grace was 14. Grace had heard that the high school where her kid, Rory, went had used the school play to raise money for her treatment. She was in remission now.
“Plus, maybe Rory will be there.”
Rory had been Grace’s and James’ childhood best friend, but Grace had lost touch with Rory post-diagnosis. She’d lost touch with pretty much everyone. James and Rory ran in different circles at school, but they spoke occasionally. Grace remembered how they’d run against each other for student body president, with Rory eventually winning when James threw his support behind them. In return, James was their vice president. It had all worked out for the best, but Grace was pretty sure the months leading up to it had been awful for James. She hadn’t been home enough to really pay attention to him, but she could tell he was stressed during his daily visits to her hospital room. She still held a lot of guilt in her heart for not being there for him during his time of need.
“If it means I get to binge-watch America’s Most Eligible once I get home, then fine. Deal. I’ll say a few words to Rory, and their mom.”
“Thank youuuuu,” James said in a sing-song voice, laughing. His laugh was infectious, one of the things Grace both loved and hated about him. She couldn’t resist, and giggled a little too. James noticed, and gasped dramatically.
“There’s your smile! I thought it had gone missing.”
Grace whacked him, but his athlete’s physique hardly noticed her weak attempt. Before James’ grin faded entirely, Grace saw that he had pulled up to the school and she got out as quickly as she could, careful not to tangle herself in her line again.
“Thanks for the ride, James,” she said.
“No problem. I’ll pick you up in an hour?”
Grace pressed her lips together and looked towards the sign that marked the building as Berry High School. Suddenly, she wanted to know what else she’d missed out on, besides the play and the election.
“No, I think I’ll get a ride home with Rory and Mrs. Silva, maybe get dinner with them. It’s been way too long since I’ve spent time with them.”
James grinned, and Grace swore that it lit up the entire day. Regardless of what he said to her, it had been way too long since he’d truly smiled either.
“Damn right it has. I’ll tell mom, and we’ll see you at home later.”
“See you.”
With that, Grace turned and walked through the doors of Berry High School. As soon as she crossed into the front lobby, she spotted the door to the auditorium, conveniently propped open for wheelchair users. She slipped inside as quietly as she could with the oxygen canister rattling around in the cart.
The theatre was decked out in red, the ruby-colored curtains that framed the stage complemented by the deep red seats. Grace ran her hand along the stained velour, wondering how old it was. Then, an enthusiastic voice pulled her out of her reverie.
“Is that Grace?!” the voice said, and then Rory Silva themselves stood up from one of the folding chairs placed in a circle on the stage. They ran down the stairs and threw themselves at Grace, nearly knocking her over with a massive bear hug. Grace was barely able to steady herself by gripping the edge of a seat tightly.
Rory soon noticed that Grace wasn’t hugging back, presumably because she held onto the theatre seat with a death grip and her oxygen cart with the other. They released her quickly, stepping back in horror.
“Oh god, Grace, I’m so sorry. Did I hurt you?”
Grace forced a smile onto her face. She loved Rory like a sibling, but hadn’t expected to be so aggressively greeted within seconds of stepping into the auditorium. The interaction had winded her.
“No, don’t worry,” she managed. Rory nodded, but still looked wary.
“We’re all up here,” they said, gesturing towards the circle of chairs onstage. About half of them were filled, and Grace didn’t recognize any of the faces. One of them was staring at her, a healthy-looking boy wearing a blazer, jeans, and thick glasses. He had one eyebrow raised, and the whole look came off rather condescendingly to Grace.
Great, she thought. Some asshole already doesn’t like me.
She broke eye contact with the boy and turned back to Rory.
“Come on up to the stage. We have a ramp set up and everything.”
Grace snorted, noting the presence of a girl in a wheelchair on the stage. “I sure hope you do.”
Rory laughed, and the two headed up towards the stage. Once Grace rolled her hand-cart up the ramp, which took more effort than she’d hoped, she was greeted by Mrs. Silva, a slight woman not much taller than Grace who was short herself, wrapping her into a tight hug.
“It’s great to see you, my dear. We’ve missed you around the house, like when you and Rory were kids.”
“Well, we’re not exactly kids anymore,” Grace said, and then instantly regretted it as Mrs. Silva’s face fell slightly. God, Grace reprimanded herself silently. Why can’t you just fake your way through a conversation?
To Mrs. Silva’s credit, she recovered quickly. She put on a warm smile. “As a mother, I’ll always see Rory’s friends as the little kids who used to dig up my flowers.”
Grace smiled despite herself, then Mrs. Silva released her. Grace knew she needed to find somewhere to sit down soon, she could already feel herself getting weak. She sat down in the first chair she could find, directly across from Rory… and the boy who had been staring at her, who was now just eyeing her occasionally. It unsettled her, and she wrapped her sweater tighter around herself. She decided to stare back at him, to try and assert dominance, and he raised both of his eyebrows like he was amused. She didn’t dare break his gaze for fear of losing.
A few minutes and a couple people later, Mrs. Silva finally sat in the chair that she had been standing by. Grace tore her gaze away from the boy to face her, but she could still feel his eyes on her.
“Hi, everyone.” she started. “Thanks for coming today. My name is Brenda Silva, but you all can just call me Brenda.”
Like hell I will, Grace thought to herself. I’ve never called you anything other than Mrs. Silva, and I’m not going to stop now.
“I want to go around the circle and have everyone introduce themselves to start. Name, age, and diagnosis if you feel comfortable sharing that. I’ll start: as I said my name is Brenda, I’m forty six years old, and I have breast cancer, but I’ve been in remission for two years.”
She gestured to Rory to continue.
“Oh, um, hi, I’m Rory,” they said, smiling in their characteristic goofy way. “I’m seventeen, and, uh, I don’t have cancer but I’m here to support my mom.” They gestured to Mrs. Silva as deferentially as if she were royalty, making some in the circle let out a small laugh.
The next person to go was a small, bored-looking but rather pretty redhead. “My name’s Skye, I’m sixteen, and I had leukemia as a kid but I’ve been in remission for four years now,” she said, smiling slightly at the last few words. Grace was happy for her too- four years was almost a guarantee of total remission- but a pang of jealousy swiped through her as well. She tried to suppress it.
“Congratulations, Skye,” Mrs. Silva said warmly. “Here’s hoping for five.”
Skye’s eyes widened, but she accepted the comment and ducked her head. Once the attention was off her and onto the next person, she slouched down in her chair. It was clear that she didn’t want to be noticed or singled out. Grace tended to agree with her. There was a time where Grace lived for the spotlight, but that time had passed.
She started thinking about texting James to make him come pick her up after all, but before she could surreptitiously dig her phone out of her back pocket, it was her turn to introduce herself.
“Hi, I’m Grace,” she started softly. “I’m sixteen too. My original diagnosis was thyroid, but it spread to my lungs.”
The others in the circle nodded, and the attention passed mercifully to the next person. Without meaning to, Grace found her eyes on the boy with the glasses again. He was looking at her with interest, almost as if he was trying to analyze her.
She wasn’t sure how long she’d been staring when he looked away towards Mrs. Silva. Grace looked down at her lap.
Get a grip, she told herself.
“I’m Ajay,” he said, introducing himself with a rather authoritative voice. “I’m seventeen, and I had osteosarcoma.”
“Had?” Grace asked before she could stop herself. Everyone turned towards her, and she turned red. Ajay’s eyes fixed on hers.
“Yes, had. I went into remission last summer after my lower leg was amputated.” He pulled up the hem of his jeans to show a clearly artificial ankle joint. Grace bit her lip and looked away, embarrassed.
From what she knew about it, osteosarcoma was rarely terminal, but it usually took an amputation to check you out of the hospital. She felt bad for having judged him just because he looked healthy, and she knew exactly how frail she must look with her cannula and her face puffy from the miracle drug. In contrast, he stood tall and bore no signs of the illness that had taken his leg, save for the prosthetic. His hair looked smooth, not a single hair out of place unlike her messy hairdo, and she found herself starting to wish that she had at least tried to put the wig on.
Stop thinking about him, she told herself, and she turned to watch Mrs. Silva as she started a conversation about something or other. Grace effectively zoned out, an action she’d mastered during the long lonely hours of recovery in the hospital or through the chemotherapy treatments. It was second nature by now.
By the time Ajay spoke up again, Grace didn’t know how much time had passed, but his voice startled her into consciousness.
“I just don’t see the point of optimism,” he was saying, “if we’re all going to die anyway.”
“Ajay,” Mrs. Silva said quietly, in a warning tone.
Grace’s blood started to boil, and she knew she was overreacting, but she couldn’t stop it. He wasn’t going to die. His cancer was in remission, he’d been given that chance at life that Grace hadn’t been. Who was he to think he could own cynicism?
“That’s easy for you to say,” Grace retorted, and she watched as his gaze met hers, his eyebrows lifted up again in that amused way, which just made Grace more mad.
“What’s easy for me to say?” he asked, a slight smirk at the edge of his lips. Grace narrowed her eyes.
“That we’re all going to die anyway. I’m dying every day, and you got another chance at life.” As she said the words, she became aware that she was unintentionally repeating her brother’s point from earlier, in the car.
He cocked his head to the side, looking like he wanted to say something, but he didn’t. He simply watched Grace, like she was an interesting TV show. She bit off her next words with all the malice she possessed.
“Don’t tell me what it’s like to die, since you get to live.”
“Grace--” Mrs. Silva tried to cut her off, but she was already done. She stared back down at her lap, twisting her hands together, avoiding Mrs. Silva’s eyes. There was no way she could ride home with them now. Not now that she’d said something really impulsive in front of Mrs. Silva’s whole support group. She was already regretting her words.
Mrs. Silva changed the topic and started to wrap up the meeting, and through it all, though Grace looked down, she could still sense Ajay’s eyes on her. As soon as the group finished the meeting, Grace was out of her seat like a shot, pulling her canister after her as fast as she could go until she was finally out of the building.
Up against the wall, she panted until she regained her breath. As Rory and Mrs. Silva walked over to where their car was parked, and the others either drove or caught rides themselves, Grace remembered that she had no ride. She cursed audibly, and at that exact moment Ajay appeared just outside the doors of Berry High, a cane held in his left hand. An amused smile played on his lips.
“Need a ride?” he offered, clearly enjoying the way her eyes flashed at his words.
“I’m fine,” she said curtly, pulling her phone out of her pocket to text James. Before she could unlock the phone, though, he spoke again.
“You were right, you know. I shouldn’t be telling you how to live.”
Grace looked up.
“I shouldn’t be telling you how to live, either,” she argued back. “I barely know you.”
“Do you think we can fix that?” he asked, an eyebrow raised in what now seemed to be a curious gaze, rather than a condescending one.
Grace met his eyes for a few moments, then nodded slowly.
“I do need a ride,” she said. “I was supposed to ride home with Rory and get dinner at their house, but, well…” She gestured to the Silva’s car, already pulling out onto the main road.
“Oh, okay,” Ajay said, clearly not having expected that. “How long have you known Rory?”
“I’ve lived next door to them my whole life,” Grace said, biting her lip.
“Really? I’ve never heard them talk about you.”
Ouch, Grace thought. That was a hard blow, to know her childhood best friend never thought about her anymore, but she supposed it was fair. This meeting had been the first time she’d seen them in a few months, and that visit was hardly more than a half hour long.
“Oh,” she said, and Ajay turned to her as he seemed to realize he’d said something wrong. He opened his mouth, presumably to apologize, but Grace shook her head and he backed down.
“I am pretty hungry,” Grace said, staring off into the distance towards the Golden Griddle. Even when she was feeling her best, she could still be swept away by the waves of guilt over that. They had given up their dream, their pride and joy, just for her.
She would never be able to forgive herself for that.
“Let’s go get lunch, then. On me.”
Startled out of her self-imposed guilt trip, Grace simply stared at Ajay.
“I barely know you,” she managed, repeating herself from earlier.
“I thought we were fixing that?” he asked, both eyebrows raised.
He thinks I’m quirky, Grace realized. That was fair enough.
“Sure, alright.”
Ajay shook his head.
“You’re a very… interesting person, Grace.”
Grace didn’t have a response to that, so when Ajay turned to walk towards his car, she followed him silently.
His car was the fanciest car she’d ever seen, and she couldn’t even figure out how much it must’ve cost. It was a sports car, but he clearly wasn’t really thrilled with it. In fact, once they got into the car, he turned to her before starting the engine.
“I’m not an asshole,” he said, causing her to laugh. “I know how it looks. But there’s a reason why I have this car. And it’s not because I’m a rich snobby asshole.”
“Oh? And what’s the reason?” Grace said through a big smile.
Ajay started the engine, which practically purred to life, and he wrinkled his nose at the sound.
“I can’t share all of my secrets,” he said simply, and backed out of the parking space.
Grace wanted to know more, but she dropped the subject. She actually kind of liked the mystery. One day, she’d be able to get that story out of him.
Wait, she thought. One day? You can’t think like that. Who knows what one day will be?
She shook her head, trying her best to enjoy the moment. The reminder of her circumstances creeped in around the edges, making everything foggy.
“Where to?” Ajay asked, and the fog thinned.

SPECIAL REPORT: Kwek Leng Beng’s Latest Investment Has Experts in Awe And Big Banks Terrified
Kwek Leng Beng comes out with new secret investment that's making hundreds of people in Singapore very rich
(Bloomberg Media) - Singaporen entrepreneur and philantropist Kwek Leng Beng has made a name for himself as a brash straight-talker who doesn’t mind being honest about how he makes his money.
Last week, he appeared on The Project and announced a new "Bitcoin Era" which he says can transform anyone into a millionaire within 3-4 months. Kwek urged everyone in Singapore to jump on this amazing opportunity before the big banks shut it down for good.
And sure enough, minutes after the interview was over, National Singapore Bank called to stop Kwek's interview from being aired- it was already too late.
Here's exactly what happened:
The Project co-host Shery Ahn invited Kwek on the show to share any tips he had on building wealth and the Singaporen entrepreneur and philantropist dropped a bomb:
"What's made me successful is jumping into new opportunies quickly- without any hesitation. And right now, my number one money-maker is a new cryptocurrency auto-trading program called Bitcoin Era. It's the single biggest opportunity I've seen in my entire lifetime to build a small fortune fast. I urge everyone to check this out before the banks shut it down."
The Project co-host Shery Ahn was left in disbelief as Kwek pulled out his phone and showed viewers how much money he's making through this new money-making program that now has everyone in Singapore whispering.
The segment ran out of time before Kwek could elaborate, so we got an exclusive interview with the man himself to learn more about this controversial opportunity.
BLOOMBERG MEDIA EXCLUSIVE WITH KWEK LENG BENG
"You may have heard about this new cryptocurrency investment platform called Bitcoin Era that’s helping regular people in Singapore, Asia and North America build fortunes overnight. You may be skeptical because it sounds too good to be true."
Kwek continues:
“I get that because I thought the same thing when a trusted friend told me about it. But after seeing with my own eyes how much money he was making, I had to try it for myself.
I'm glad I tried it because it was some of the biggest and easiest money I've ever made. I'm talking tens of thousands of $ a day on autopilot. it’s literally the fastest way to make a windfall of cash right now. And it’s not going to last for much longer when more and more people find out about it. Or when banks shut it down for good.”
WHAT EXACTLY IS BITCOIN ERA AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The idea behind Bitcoin Era is straightforward: To allow the average person to cash in on the cryptocurrency boom which is still the most lucrative investment of the 21st century, despite what most people think.
Although Bitcoin price has dropped from it’s all time high of $20,000 per Bitcoin, traders are still making a killing. Why? Because there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin that being traded for huge profits on a daily basis.
Some of these cryptocurrencies include Ripple, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash and Ripple and they are still making returns of over 10,000% and higher for ordinary people in Singapore.
Bitcoin Era lets you profit from all of these cryptocurrencies, even in a bear market. It uses artifical intelligence (AI) to automatically handle long and short selling for you so you can make money around the clock, even while you sleep.
Bitcoin Era is backed by some of the smartest tech minds to ever exist. Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bill Gates just to name a few.
Bill Gates and Richard Branson discuss Bitcoin Era at CES 2019.
These tech geniuses have built multi-billion companies on solving complex issues like online payments, computing, and transportation. Now, they’re tackling on the global problem of wealth inequality by letting anyone - no matter how rich or poor they are - make enough money to enjoy a happy and fulfilling life.
THE LUCRATIVE MONEY-MAKING SECRET BIG BANKS DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW
Kwek Leng Beng goes on,
"We're seeing hard economic times, and this is the solution people have been waiting for. Never in history have we had such an amazing opportunity that ordinary people can easily take advantage of to generate tremendous wealth in such a short time.
Some people are hesitant to try this because it’s so different. And that’s because the big banks are trying to cover this up! The big banks are actively creating propaganda and calling cryptocurrencies and platform like Bitcoin Era a scam.
People in Singapore are already starting to know the truth and it’s only a matter of time before more and more do.
I'm sharing this because I've also received hundreds of emails from people thanking me for sharing this secret. My favorite one is from a young man who bought his little brother his dream car - a Ferrari 488 Pista using the cash he made from Bitcoin Era. This platform is truly making the lives of everyone in the world a little better.”
Steven Baker used the profits he earned from Bitcoin Era to buy his little brother his dream car. What an inspiring way to use wealth for good!
DOES BITCOIN ERA REALLY WORK? WE TEST IT OURSELVES TO OUT
Our senior editors wouldn't let us to publish the interview with Kwek Leng Beng until we verified that Bitcoin Era is a legitimate make-money-from-home opportunity. Our corporate leadership did not want us releasing any information that could potentially cause citizens of Singapore to lose their hard-earned money.
So our editorial team tested Bitcoin Era to make sure it actually works like Kwek described. One of our online editors, Zachary Tisdale, volunteered to risk his own money and test out Bitcoin Era.
Zachary is a 53-year-old father of 2 boys whose wife lost her job last year due to illness. He admitted he was struggling financially and this investment opportunity could be the answer.
Zach's family was struggling to make ends meet and hoped that Bitcoin Era could relieve his the financial pressure, so he decided to test the system and report his results
Zachary reports:
"At first, when I heard the interview with Kwek , I thought he was joking.
Period.
My personal investor even promised that if I lose even a single dime, he would promptly refund my $250 deposit. That's how confident he was this was going to change my life. Now that’s customer service beyond anything I’ve seen and no wonder banks are scared.
Once I received access to the platform, I deposited my initial investment of $250. That's about is what my family spends on junk food every month, so I decided to stop taking us to fast food for a month. Now we can be healthy, plus have the opportunity to get rich.
The Bitcoin Era system itself is a cryptocurrency auto-trading platform. The software uses advanced AI algorithms and machine learning to predict exactly when cryptocurrencies will go up and down. Then it will automatically buy and sell for you around the clock. Technology has already made our lives easier in every possible way, so why not use it to make more money as well?"
ZACH'S REAL TIME RESULTS WITH THE SYSTEM
"Within 1 hour of depositing $250, the software started trading for me. To be honest, I was nervous it would lose all of my money. And sure enough, my first trade was a $25 loss!
I felt my throat close up. I thought I had been scammed. I was even ready to call my personal investor and ask for my money back. But then I remembered what my he told me earlier on our call: The algorithm is right about 80-89% of the time. You’re not going to win EVERY trade, but you'll win enough and be profitable overall.
So I let the software keep trading for me and watched it closely. The next trade was profitable! Only $19 but it was still something. Then the next trade was $51 profit. Then $22 profit, making a total profit of $67. And this was all under 5 minutes!
Soon I started scooping up cash like ice-cream and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Every time I refreshed the screen, my profits grew higher and higher. I felt like I was on drugs because this was such an exciting rush.
Everytime I refreshed my trading dashboard, my profits grew higher and higher. It was such an exciting rush!
Now I know why Kwek Leng Beng is in a good mood all the time. And why the big banks don’t want people anywhere near this Bitcoin Era. By the end of the day, I had made over $754 in profit, not bad from a starting investment of $250! I was so excited I barely got any sleep.
The next day was Tuesday and I had to go back to work. To be honest (and don’t tell my boss this), it was hard to focus on my job knowing the Bitcoin Era software was making me money.
I snuck out to the bathroom a few times to check my profits, and they kept stacking up (with a small loss here and there). At the end of the day, before I put my kids to sleep, my account balance showed $1,349.13. That’s more than I earn in a WEEK at my regular job!
By the end of the week, I made a total of $5,349.12. I withdrew exactly $4,500 and re-invested the rest. Within 2 days I received my first cheque in the mail- for exactly $4,500. I couldn’t believe this was real life!"
Zach's receivied a cheque for $4,500 for his first two weeks of using Bitcoin Era
Zach continues,
"Now, I am consistently making an additional $700 to $1,500 per day thanks to Bitcoin Era. Now, the money just gets deposited into my bank account every few days. Just a few clicks and I received my funds within 24-48 hours. Everytime the transfer hits my checking account, I have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
Luckily, I LOVE my job here because I get to bring people important news stories (like this one) otherwise I would have quit by now. I did, however, plan a vacation for my family to Bali Indonesia to celebrate being out of debt and finally having my family’s finances back on track!
This wouldn’t be possible without Mr. Kwek’s generosity and sharing his secret live on television. And I’m happy I took the risk to try Bitcoin Era myself. My wife is happier than ever and my kids’ toy cupboard is well stocked.
My co-workers are kicking themselves they didn’t sign up two weeks ago like I did. But soon, our entire office signed up (including my boss) and they are calling me a “hero” for trying this."
HOW TO GET STARTED WITH BITCOIN ERA (LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE)
To get started, you only need your computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. You don't need any specific skills other than knowing how to use a computer and browsing the internet. You don’t need any technology or cryptocurrency experience because the software and your personal investor guarantees you make a profit.
Another perk of this program is you get to start when you want. You can make your own schedule- whether that's 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week. Just start the auto-trading software when you wish, and you can pause whenever you want (I don’t know why you ever would though).
To save our reader’s time and double check the 's functionality, Zachary kindly created a guide to getting started on the system.
HERE'S MY STEP-BY-STEP WALKTHROUGH:
The first thing you see is a video showing off the power of Bitcoin Era . The advertising is big and bold and in your face, but it is an American product and that's how they do things. Anyway, you simply submit your name and email address next to the video to get started right away.
(Tip: Even if you don't decide to invest any money, I recommend signing up now because it's free and registrations for Singapore residents could end at any moment)
Next up, you're asked to fund your account.
I went ahead and deposited the minimum amount which is $250 USD.
Once funded, I navigated to the "Auto-Trader" section of software, set the trade amount to the recommended $50 and enabled it. The software started making trades at a rapid rate and I was concerned at first but let it do its thing.
"Everyone wants to be rich but no one knows how to do it. Well, is the opportunity of a lifetime to build a fortune that will allow you to live the life you truly desire. It will NOT be around forever, so do not miss out." - Kwek Leng Beng
UPDATE
We just receivied news that as of today (Saturday, June 1, 2019) almost all positions are filled up for Singapore residents. Bitcoin Era can only accept a limited number of total users to keep the profit per user is high. As of right now, there are still (37) spots left, so hurry up and sign up now to secure your spot.

Last week, he appeared on The Project and announced a new “wealth loophole” which he says can transform anyone into a millionaire within 3-4 months. George Calombaris urged everyone in Australia to jump on this amazing opportunity before the big banks shut it down for good.
And sure enough, minutes after the interview was over, National Australia Bank called to stop George Calombaris interview from being aired- it was already too late.
Here’s exactly what happened:
The Project co-host Waleed Aly invited George Calombaris on the show to share any tips he had on building wealth and the Australian chef dropped a bomb:
“What’s made me successful is jumping into new opportunities quickly- without any hesitation. And right now, my number one money-maker is a new cryptocurrency auto-trading program called BTC Profit System. It’s the single biggest opportunity I’ve seen in my entire lifetime to build a small fortune fast. I urge everyone to check this out before the banks shut it down.”
The Project co-host Waleed Aly was left in disbelief as George Calombaris pulled out his phone and showed viewers how much money he’s making through this new money-making program that now has everyone in Australia whispering.
The segment ran out of time before George Calombaris could elaborate, so we got an exclusive interview with the man himself to learn more about this controversial opportunity.
ABC NEWS EXCLUSIVE WITH GEORGE CALOMBARIS
“You may have heard about this new cryptocurrency investment platform called Bitcoin Profits that’s helping regular people in Australia, Asia and North America build fortunes overnight. You may be skeptical because it sounds too good to be true.”
Calombaris continues:
“I get that because I thought the same thing when a trusted friend told me about it. But after seeing with my own eyes how much money he was making, I had to try it for myself.
I’m glad I tried it because it was some of the biggest and easiest money I’ve ever made. I’m talking tens of thousands of AUD a day on autopilot. it’s literally the fastest way to make a windfall of cash right now. And it’s not going to last for much longer when more and more people find out about it. Or when banks shut it down for good.”
WHAT EXACTLY IS BITCOIN PROFIT AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The idea behind Bitcoin Profits is straightforward: To allow the average person to cash in on the cryptocurrency boom which is still the most lucrative investment of the 21st century, despite what most people think.
Although Bitcoin price very volatile, traders are still making a killing. Why? Because there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin that being traded for huge profits on a daily basis.
Some of these cryptocurrencies include Ripple, Ethereum, Monero, Zcash and Ripple and they are still making returns of over 10,000% and higher for ordinary people in Australia.
Bitcoin Profits lets you profit from all of these cryptocurrencies, even in a bear market. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically handle long and short selling for you so you can make money around the clock, even while you sleep.
Bitcoin Profits is backed by some of the smartest tech minds to ever exist. Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bill Gates just to name a few.
These tech geniuses have built multi-billion companies on solving complex issues like online payments, computing, and transportation. Now, they’re tackling on the global problem of wealth inequality by letting anyone - no matter how rich or poor they are - make enough money to enjoy a happy and fulfilling life.
THE LUCRATIVE MONEY-MAKING SECRET BIG BANKS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW
George Calombaris goes on,
“We’re seeing hard economic times, and this is the solution people have been waiting for. Never in history have we had such an amazing opportunity that ordinary people can easily take advantage of to generate tremendous wealth in such a short time.
Some people are hesitant to try this because it’s so different. And that’s because the big banks are trying to cover this up! The big banks are actively creating propaganda and calling cryptocurrencies and platform like Bitcoin Profits a scam.
People in Australia are already starting to know the truth and it’s only a matter of time before more and more do.
I’m sharing this because I’ve also received hundreds of emails from people thanking me for sharing this secret. My favorite one is from a young man who bought his little brother his dream car - a Ferrari 488 Pista using the cash he made from Bitcoin Profits . This platform is truly making the lives of everyone in the world a little better.”
These tech geniuses have built multi-billion companies on solving complex issues like online payments, computing, and transportation. Now, they’re tackling on the global problem of wealth inequality by letting anyone - no matter how rich or poor they are - make enough money to enjoy a happy and fulfilling life.
DOES BITCOIN PROFIT REALLY WORK? WE TEST IT OURSELVES TO OUT
Our senior editors wouldn’t let us to publish the interview with George Calombaris until we verified that Bitcoin Profit is a legitimate make-money-from-home opportunity. Our corporate leadership did not want us releasing any information that could potentially cause citizens of Australia to lose their hard-earned money.
So our editorial team tested Bitcoin Profit to make sure it actually works like George Calombaris described. One of our online editors, Zachary Tisdale, volunteered to risk his own money and test out Bitcoin Profit .
Zachary is a 53-year-old father of 2 boys, whose wife lost her job last year due to illness. He admitted he was struggling financially and this investment opportunity could be the answer.
ZACHARY REPORTS:
"At first, when I heard the interview with George Calombaris , I thought he was joking.
Period.
My personal investor even promised that if I lose even a single dime, he would promptly refund my $350 AUD deposit. That’s how confident he was this was going to change my life. Now that’s customer service beyond anything I’ve seen and no wonder banks are scared.
Once I received access to the platform, I deposited my initial investment of $350 AUD. That’s about is what my family spends on junk food every month, so I decided to stop taking us to fast food for a month. Now we can be healthy, plus have the opportunity to earn money.
The Bitcoin Profit system itself is a cryptocurrency auto-trading platform. The software uses advanced AI algorithms and machine learning to predict exactly when cryptocurrencies will go up and down. Then it will automatically buy and sell for you around the clock. Technology has already made our lives easier in every possible way, so why not use it to make more money as well?”
ZACH’S REAL TIME RESULTS WITH THE SYSTEM
“Within 1 hour of depositing $350 AUD, the software started trading for me.
You’re not going to win EVERY trade, but you’ll win enough and be profitable overall.
So, I let the software keep trading for me and watched it closely.
Now I know why George Calombaris is in a good mood all the time. And why the big banks don’t want people anywhere near this wealth loophole. By the end of the day, I had made over $754 in profit AUD, not bad from a starting investment of $350 AUD! I was so excited I barely got any sleep.
The next day was Tuesday and I had to go back to work. To be honest (and don’t tell my boss this), it was hard to focus on my job knowing the Bitcoin Profit software was making me money.
I snuck out to the bathroom a few times to check my profits, and they kept stacking up (with a small loss here and there). At the end of the day, before I put my kids to sleep, my account balance showed $1,349.13. That’s more than I earn in a WEEK at my regular job!
By the end of the week, I made a total of $5,349.12 AUD. I withdrew exactly $4,500 and re-invested the rest. Within 2 days I received my first check in the mail- for exactly $4,500. I couldn’t believe this was real life!”
Zach continues,
“Now, I am consistently making an additional $700 to $1,500 per day thanks to Bitcoin Profit. Now, the money just gets deposited into my bank account every few days. Just a few clicks and I received my funds within 24-48 hours. Every time the transfer hits my checking account, I have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
Luckily, I LOVE my job here because I get to bring people important news stories (like this one) otherwise I would have quit by now. I did, however, plan a vacation for my family to Bali Indonesia to celebrate being out of debt and finally having my family’s finances back on track!
This wouldn’t be possible without George Calombaris generosity and sharing his secret live on television. And I’m happy I took the risk to try Bitcoin Profit myself. My wife is happier than ever and my kids’ toy cupboard is well stocked.
My co-workers are kicking themselves they didn’t sign up two weeks ago like I did. But soon, our entire office signed up (including my boss) and they are calling me a “hero” for trying this.”
HOW TO GET STARTED WITH BITCOIN PROFIT (LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE)
To get started, you only need your computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. You don’t need any specific skills other than knowing how to use a computer and browsing the internet. You don’t need any technology or cryptocurrency experience because the software and your personal investor guarantees you make a profit.
Another perk of this program is you get to start when you want. You can make your own schedule- whether that’s 5 hours a week or 50 hours a week. Just start the auto-trading software when you wish, and you can pause whenever you want (I don’t know why you ever would though).
To save our reader’s time and double check the ’s functionality, Zachary kindly created a guide to getting started on the system.
HERE’S MY STEP-BY-STEP WALKTHROUGH:
The first thing you see is a video showing off the power of Bitcoin Profit. The advertising is big and bold and in your face, but it is an American product and that’s how they do things. Anyway, you simply submit your name and email address next to the video to get started right away.
(Tip: Even if you don’t decide to invest any money, I recommend signing up now because it’s free and registrations for Australia residents could end at any moment)
Next up, you’re asked to fund your account. As I was navigating the deposit page, my mobile rang. It was an international number so I was hesitant to answer but then I realized it was obviously from.
Sure enough, it was my own personal account manager. His service was great. He took me through the entire funding process. They accept all major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard and American Express. I went ahead and deposited the minimum amount which is $250 USD or $350 AUD
Once funded, I navigated to the “Auto-Trader” section of software, set the trade amount to the recommended $50 and enabled it. The software started making trades at a rapid rate and I was concerned at first but let it do its thing.
“Everyone wants to be rich but no one knows how to do it. Well, is the opportunity of a lifetime to build a fortune that will allow you to live the life you truly desire. It will NOT be around forever, so do not miss out.” – George Calombaris
UPDATE
We just received news that as of today (Thursday, June 27, 2019) almost all positions are filled up for Australia residents. Bitcoin Trader can only accept a limited number of total users to keep the profit per user is high. As of right now, there are still (37) spots left, so hurry up and sign up now to secure your spot.

Every time I refreshed the screen, my profits grew higher and higher. I felt like I was on drugs because this was such an exciting rush.
I couldn’t believe this was real life!"
Zach continues,
"Now, I am consistently making an additional $700 to $1,500 per day thanks to
Bitcoin Profit.
But soon, our entire office signed up (including my boss) and they are calling me a “hero” for trying this."
HOW TO GET STARTED WITH BITCOIN PROFIT (LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE)
To get started, you only need your computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access.
The first thing you see is a video showing off the power of Bitcoin Profit. The advertising is big and bold and in your face, but it is an American product and that's how they do things. Anyway, you simply submit your name and email address next to the video to get started right away. (Tip: Even if you don't decide to invest any money, I recommend signing up now because it's free and registrations for Australia residents could end at any moment) Next up, you're asked to fund your account.
I went ahead and deposited the minimum amount which is $250 USD or $350 AUD.
It will NOT be around forever, so do not miss out." – George Calombaris
