Prank-Kids Lampsies

Just some cute little angry guys coming to play some pranks on you. Nothing else to see here. I think the most interesting aspect of these guys' design is that their abdomens (at the very least) are completely composed of flame, but, somehow, those flames still manage to keep their whole body together. The use of stippling in some areas of shadow (plus the background!!) is a fun stylistic choice, but I just wish it was a little more consistent/applied in more areas. I especially like the character it gives to the flames. The extended outline is also neat and enhances the cartoony look (it reminds me a little of the later Paper Mario games, too). Also funny to note is that the symbol on their foreheads looks like the Green Lantern symbol but turned sideways. (I would make a joke that it was purposeful given their name, "Lampsies," but I already saw that all the other Prank-Kids have it too).

It looks like Philip’s experiments with magic went further than he let on. It looks like he’s tattooed the glyphs directly to his arm… and his arm is not agreeing with it. His arm is mutating and the glyphs are glowing red. It’s kinda funny, I know someone who has a red aura when he uses magic. It’s pretty uncommon.

Hey, look at that! Philip is consuming a palisman! Just like a certain someone I know back in the present does to soothe the strange ailment that troubles him and mutates his body in strange ways. What a coincidence!

Hey, uh, Philip, are you feeling alright? You sound a bit strange there. Are you sick? I’ve told you, living in dank caves is not good for your health.

Also, it’s still not entirely clear, but I think my guess that this mirror thing is required to contact The Collector. And that whatever Belos’ true plans are, it all started a long time ago…

And so comes to an end episode twelve.

I would LOVE to stay here and continue talking for the next half an hour or so, because there is a LOT of theory crafting to be made….. but I have work early tomorrow. It’s also my sister’s birthday (everyone wish The Lampsis happy birthday!), so after work I’ll be busy celebrating that. On the topic of progen descendants here are all of the known ones in my lair!

Future, Past, Unweder and Modify are all from my progens. Future is the only one that I kept from their first nest, but her brother Past who I had exalted has showed up in my lore every once and awhile so a few months ago I put my progens on a nest again to recreate him. So now Past is in my lair again! Unweder and Modify I never intended to keep. While I was in Lightning I put my progens on a nest just for the Dustcarve Dig event, but I really liked how the hatchlings looked with Lightning eyes so I kept the nest. In my lore Unweder and Modify are from an alternate universe where my progens grew up in Lightning instead of Light Flight.

Morningmist and Firespitter are the only pure gen2 descendants from other lairs' progens that I have. Morning I got from the first nest of a fellow Light newbie who joined during the same registration window. If I remember correctly it wasn't a trade and they were just handing the dragons out and I snatched up Morning. Then Firespitter was part of a planned progen kid swap and thinking about how I got him is what inspired me to do another progen kid swap! Myself and the person I swapped with both joined on the same day so we purposely hatched our progens' nests on our anniversary of joining FR!

WAIT SCRATCH THAT ABOUT MORNING AND FIRE BEING MY ONLY PURE GEN2 PROGEN DESCENDANTS. I totally forgot my gen2 imp Goshawk is a progen kid too! Because of course she is! Most gen1 imps are progens! She's part of the Lampsi Emperor.

And then there is Kiwi and Sword who are not pure gen2 descendants but they are special in their own ways. Kiwi is a half gen2 with her mother being my friend's progen but her father not. Sword is the grandson of my partner's progens.

Despite Eric Kingler being notoriously known as a very cold cut off and harsh Champion, very different from the rest of his league who are known as somewhat warm and welcoming, he embodies the stereotype of the “Helpful Region”. He’s constantly working with Charities and orphanage’s to help get kids set and ready to become trainers. Schools of all age, from Pre-School to even every Collage in the Region, are in works with the Chairwoman and Champion. No Kid Left Unturned is the main slogan for all of this.

Eric has been very vocal, despite the thorn covered words, about how he was dropped through the cracks in his school all throughout his life and the struggle to get where he is today. His goal is to never see that happen to another kid again as long as he can help it. This is also what makes him a ruthless Champion to fight against. It’s not because he thinks people will see him differently if he has losses in his ledger but the fact that if he lost as the Champion everything he’s been building and working for will be for naught and he’ll never be able to see his plans come into fruition.

This also makes Orago very known for their high drive in the arts like theater, movie making, street art, and their vast genre of music and less focus on things like sport and regrettably history. Despite losing several high quality libraries filled with knowledge of the pass, due to Team Stygian, and the general assumption history would be brought to the forefront next to arts by these events. History is still very much not put into important lights to this day. Looked over for more prominent things like math, science, and most importantly agriculture.

There’s two teams that plague Orago and their known as Team Stygian and Team Lampsi. Unlike most vile Teams that plague the world, the history of Stygian and Lampsi is very well known.

Stygian and Lampsi are named after the original founders, rivals of each other from the beginning. Meeka Stygian and Venus Lampsi used to be best friends before they left to become trainers. Armed with an Eevee and Lillipup, both starting out with normal types as per their collective family’s tradition. Meeka quickly climbed the ladder of strength while Venus struggled. This gained the attention of the current Champion, Nikes (pronounced weirdly as Knights) who ironically is one of Eric’s strongest inspiration, and he immediately offered his support and guidance to Venus. This obviously blew up around the Region and Meeka quickly got jealous.

This ends up making her end her friendship permanently with Venus on the count that it was unfair to her. How was it fair that Venus got the attention willingly while Meeka, and almost every other trainer in the Region, struggled to be good enough to face off the Champion. Venus wasn’t even a good trainer to begin with. More hurtful words were said to each other and Champion Nikes guiltily retracted his help all together. Leaving the two girls fuming with an unrepairable relationship. When the two got older they created the teams using their last names.

The names basically boil down to dark and light, in context but i didn’t really try that hard with the names.

Meeka had quickly grown to dislike the Champion and his giving nature, which is selective in her eyes, and vowed to burn the mans history to the ground. Thus the events of several libraries filled with knowledge, not just of that Champion but others as well, to the ground. Venus who quickly caught onto Meeka’s plans created her team in hopes of stopping her. But instead of working with the authorities she thought all the knowledge was best in her hands, and the hands of her team, alone. Their ideals both quickly turned into toxic obsession to the point that anyone who was even remotely associated with Champion Nikes ideals were in danger.

Now both teams are scouring Orago from top to bottom for the last remaining information of Champion Nikes and others to either burn and squirrel the information away. Leaving Eric to struggle with his duties and bringing up his lack of care for history as a whole. As now his Region is in danger of having even more very important dates, events, and people lost to burning fire and half a century old rivalry. On top of that keeping his life safe alongside his friends, coworkers, and his toxic family. All who could be held against him for even an inch of ground he holds can and will be used by both teams.

Thus bringing us back around to why Eric is so cold but with a big bloody heart hidden inside of him. No Kid Left Unturned is also based off of the two Teams and their know history. Only known from a diary Nikes had left for the upcoming Champions if he was unable to disband them before his dethroning or death took ahold of him.

That screen shot of unicorn Charlie and Vaggie will live in my head rent-free from now on actually, it has lodged itself in my chaggie-and-unicorn-loving heart like an arrow and i suffer the pangs of bittersweet longing for gay unicorns gladly. Thank you.

Christian was in the middle of a home game, his focus solely on beating Man U at Stamford bridge, when the whistle blew in the middle of the first half, catching all the players’ attentions.

Christian’s brown eyes gazed between the sideline ref and the gaffer, Frank’s hand pointing Christian out before waving him over. The refs all patted Christian’s arm as he walked past them and over to Lampsy, purely confused as to what was going on.

When Frank explained that you’d been involved in a car crash and Christian was your emergency contact, a ringing went off in Chris’ ears.

He wasn’t focused on the match or the outcome anymore. He didn’t care about football right now; his thoughts were only around you. 

“Go, you have to go,” Frank ushered Christian down the tunnel and towards the car park. 

Christian’s fingers tightened around the steering wheel of his car as he slammed the accelerator. His palms were sweet against the leather of the steering wheel, his eyesight going blurry every now and again. Luckily, he made it to the hospital in one piece, stumbling over to the nurse’s station with tears lining his eyes.

He explained your situation as best as he could, stumbling every now and again, eyes wavering to the ER sign. 

The nurse he was speaking to tried to calm him down, explaining that you had been involved in a car crash but would be fine. She led him to your room, where you sat conscious on a bed, wincing as the doctor worked away at the nine stitches across your hairline and forehead.

“Oh, thank God,” Christian breathed out heavily, running over to you and wrapping his arms tightly around you.

“Chris,” you wheezed as he squeezed the absolute daylights out of you. “Gotta breathe, baby.”

Christian’s grip loosened, his attention suddenly on the doctor as he asked him what happened to you. The doctor finished up your stitches, explaining to Christian that you’d gotten in a car accident with an SUV, your head had hit the driver’s side window, and glass had cut open your forehead. Other than a minor bruise and a few stitches, you were left harmless.

“Did you just come from the game?” you asked Christian, taking in the worried look on his face and the complete Chelsea kit that he wore.

He nodded his head. “Frank stopped the game mid-play. I ran out of there and drove here as fast as I could.”

Your eyes widened as your heart melted at the fact that Frank had stopped the match and Christian had dropped everything to come to the hospital. And even then, as you sat there holding Christian’s hand as your stitches were done up, you couldn’t help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have so many people care about her well-being.

Individually however...”

“I am Blackbird, the right head. I’m the best of my ‘siblings’ and the handsomest. I am looking for something I have lost. Will you help me? No. You don’t have a choice.”

“I... I am Budgie. At least that’s what Wish calls me. I’m not sure if I ever had another name. I’m the left head. I’m... I’m the least important of the heads. Please just ignore me. Nothing I say is worth your time...”

“And I am Goshawk, the middle head. Unlike my ‘siblings’ here I actually remember my past. I was once a fierce warrior of the Southern Icefield. I was killed in an avalanche and woke up as an Emperor. Although I can never go back to my old life, I am happy to spend the rest of my unlife watching over Wish and keeping my ‘siblings’ in line.”

“And we are all happy to obey Wish. She gave us what we wanted, and now we are forever in her debt...”

I just talked about Sapphiremoon so it's fitting to now talk about Bluemoon!

Cw for abuse

Because of Bluemoon's uncanny resemblance to Sapphiremoon she was doomed from the start. She grew up in Clan Lampsi, a clan that was made up primarily of dragons Sapphire had lied to and manipulated and they were angry about it. But since Sapphire was dead they Instead took their anger out on poor Blue just because she looked like Sapphire.

Blue had a miserable existence, but then she and Wish fell in love and they helped each other escape the horror show that was Clan Lampsi (with the help of an Emperor too). Now Blue and Wish have a daughter and travel Sornieth together with the Lampsi Emperor.

Clan: Lampsi Deity: None Mate: None (Hetero/cis) Gemstone is the best. The best dragon ever that's what. Or at least she is in her own head. She has an ego that's almost as big as her breed and anyone who tries to argue with her is likely to get hurt in someway. Gemstone believes she is the most beautiful dragon that anyone had or could ever lay their eyes on. She doesn't believe in charges, which makes many of her breed think lowly of her. But she claims that charges are just burdens and she refuses to burden herself with something so silly. She thinks that the only 'charge' that a Guardian needs is themselves. She thinks that every dragon should look after themselves first and others second. Although ever since joining Lampsi she has felt different... She feels as though something has died inside of her. Something is missing and she can't quite figure out what it is. She had parted ways with her loving mate, Obsidian, but she's not really sad about that. Their relationship was nice while it lasted, but he didn't belong in Lampsi. He belonged to Nightbane's clan. So if it wasn't Obsidian that was off, what was it? Gemstone had made a terrible mistake. She had suppressed her guardian instincts and now her Charge had perished. She's now a mess and she hates it. She hates she cares for a Charge she never wanted. She hates that she failed the little dead dragon she was supposed to protect. Her familiar is named Queen, because she feels she is a queen compared to other ice sprites. Its no wonder she gets along just fine with Gemstone.

Model Drops Food Coloring Into Oil, Then Rachael Adds Antacid On Top For DIY Lava Lamp

I’m always looking for fun activities I can do with my nephew that don’t involve staring at a screen and listening to “Wheels on the Bus” for the fiftieth time in a row. So, you can imagine how excited I was when I stumbled upon this amazing DIY lava lamp project!

It’s such a fun project, as you can see by Rachael Ray’s hilarious reaction when model Camila Alves (a.k.a.Mrs. Matthew McConaughey) shares the stepsfor creating this at home, while visiting her show.

It couldn’t be any easier and chances are you have all of the necessary ingredients already sitting in your cabinets.

All you need is a water bottle, water, vegetable oil, food coloring, and antacid tablets.Even though it doesn’t glow quite as bright as the electronic lava lampsI remember having back in the day, you have to admit the effect is still pretty darn cool!

I can already see the look on my nephew’s face whenwe whip upour own DIY lava lamp. It’s just so much nicer to know you made something together with your own hands instead of relying on toys and gadgets bought at the store.

Even when little onesgrow up and lose interest in those silly games and things from their youth, they definitely won’t forget how much they loved getting to spendtime with their family.

A Summary of my Clans (Because oh boy I have Many)

Universe 1: Sornieth (Feral version)

These clans are a part of my feral only lore and are a part of a version of Sornieth in which dragons are just dragons and can’t (normally) shapeshift into anything else. Exceptions to the feral only rule is if the dragon was blessed by a god (Aureole, and Isra, are examples of this), is from another universe, or if the dragon isn’t actually a dragon at all (My Shadelings and Vulpecula are examples of this).

My clans that exist in this universe are:

Clan Ton Theon

This is a Light clan formerly known as Seeking Clan. The clan founder, Nightbane was gifted land by the Lightweaver as a reward for her perfect academic performance. She decided to use the land to form a home for those who didn’t have anywhere else to go.

Nightbane’s good intentions back fired when a few bad apples caused the clan to break out in a bloody battle which led to the old clan going up in flames. The dragons loyal to Nightbane followed her to a new home. Nightbane stepped down from her position as leader and chose Nike to lead instead.

Clan Lampsi

This clan was formed by the dragons that remained behind with the ruins of the original clan territory after the battle. Their leader became one of the leaders of the schism that caused the fighting to start, a Shadow dragon named Shiningscourge.

Even thought the land was located in the Sunbeam Ruins, Shining declared that the land was now the Shadowbinder’s.

Clan Nihil

This is an Arcane clan led by self proclaimed Queen, Andromeda. She has claimed the pearl of a fallen pearlcatcher’s as her own, because this pearl absorbed the powers of the pearlcatcher when she died. Andromeda now wields this power as her own and uses it to manipulate dragons into following her.

Clan Ula

This is a nomadic Water clan or merdragons. Queen Megalodon and her school of shapeshifting merdragons are on a quest to hunt down the monster that blinded Megalodon.

PASC

The Plague Academy of Shade Chasers, is a militaristic organization in Plague which trains dragons to track down Shade creatures and kill them. While the gaolers were only concerned with the Shade creatures in their own domain, these Plague dragons took it upon themselves to eradicate the Scarred Wasteland of any Shade influence.

The current leader of this clan is Deella, a Plague dragon fascinated with vaccines.

Clan Destinesia

A Nature clan led by Shamhna. This clan was founded after Shamhna’s charge instincts led her to mysterious stones. It turns out that these stones were legendary items that the Gladekeeper blessed long ago. Dragons who wielded the stones were meant to be protectors of Viridian Labyrinth.

Shamhna wields one stone and has fond suitable dragon to wield the others. Together they use the powers of these stones for good, and a clan formed around them as dragons seeked Shamhna’s protection.

The Shade Haven

A Haven created for (Mostly) peaceful Shade Creatures. It is hidden somewhere along the border of Lightning and Light, and all of the beings within the clan are protected by Unknown, a mysterious and intimidating ancient Shade creature.

PASC has been looking for this Haven.

The Primals

An informal and nomadic clan that formed after Grim, an Arcane primal, escaped a life of abuse due to his Primal powers. Although he did not want to become a leader of anything, he didn’t have the heart to turn away other Primal dragons who were abused or mistreated due to their powers. So now Grim is the leader of a group of primal dragons (and a Changeling).

Heartstone Valley

Heartstone Valley began as a little mining town in Dragonhome. Unfortunately for the residents, they all mysteriously died, only to come back to life as zombies, trapped in a time bubble that no one can leave and no one can enter.

Their mayor is Trilobite, although the people are starting to rally for Hematite to be mayor instead. It’s a confusing time for the town, as no one truly knows what to do now that none of them age and now that they’re forever cut off from the rest of the world.

Foo’s Eye Galleon

This is a pirate ship that terrorizes the shore of the Windswept Plateau. Their captain is Juno, and they built their ship from the body of an Emperor.

The Cryptids

Another informal and nomadic clan. This is a clan of strange creatures that broke out of the gaoler’s prisons. Their leader appears to be the one that calls themself Chupacabra.

Ember Sun Spa and Resort

Located in the Ashfall Waste this is a spa powered by geothermal energy. It’s run by Lavender and is a lovely place to relax.

Blue Beetle INC

A robotics company from the Shifting Expanse. It’s CEO is Rhyder and he 100% most definitely cares very dearly about the environment and his employees :^)

Now don’t worry about a thing and buy buy buy!

Sentry Order Faction E55

The group of sentry gaolers sent to track down the cryptids that escaped. Leader is Hel.

Meraki Artisans

A group of banescales hoping to promote peace on Sornieth through their art. Each Bane has learned an art from a different flight. The most respected member is Moondust, but she doesn’t see herself as a leader.

Lutalica Woods

A group of Veilspun dragons led by Lilith. Generally up to no good.

Double Trouble Haunted House (DTHH)

A group of Aberrations that run a haunted house. All the scares are in good fun! Run by Slaughter and House.

The Avenoir Wastes

A group of discarded robots made to look like dragons. Each originated from a different flight for a different purpose. Now they sit abandoned in the Charged Barrens. led by Ezekiel.

Chimera Fang Caverns

(And also all of my subspecies dragons and dragons in my ‘other’ tab are from the universe unless stated otherwise)

A clan of creatures. They are not Beastpeople, nor are they Shadetouched. They are not aliens, and they have no relation to The Cryptids. They may have been dragons at one point, but not anymore. They hide in the caverns in the canyon on the border of Arcane, Plague and Earth. Leader is Rezzyt.

The Guild of Osiris (TGOO)

A ragtag group of Emperor hunters located by the Emperor's Wake. Led by the Storm Twins.

Universe 2: Sornieth 2 (Human/gijinka/anthro version)

These clans are from the version of Sornieth where humaniod dragons are commonplace. All dragons can shapeshift somewhat into humaniod forms. Humaniod forms include anthro dragons too. The more human looking a dragon is, the more magic it takes and the harder it is to do. Most dragons can shapeshift ‘inbetween forms’, their general body type is human, but they might still have ears/tails/ horns of their dragon forms.

Clans that exist in this universe are:

Clan Jamais Vu

This clan is located in an area where Spacetime is thin, so sometimes the clan is transported to the other version of Sornieth. Because of this some dragons from the feral Sornieth, started to believe that this clan were gods. Now the entire clan is convinced that they are indeed gods. Leader is Leon, who is a magic eating alien.

Lacuna Park

This is an amusement park located in the Tangled Woods. It’s highly reviewed but there have been rumors of those who visit but don’t go back, gruesome injuries and other bizarre sightings. All of these rumors are denied by the staff of Lacuna Park.

Order of Illecebrous

An order of superheros who have found mystical items that give them superpowers.

Order of Susurrus

An order of supervillains who have found mystical items that give them superpowers.

Universe 3: Selcouth

This is my own original universe. It’s where my ‘alien god’ characters come from. All dragons from this universe can be found in my ‘Selcouth’ tab, but they’re not a clan. Some of them are members of Clan Ton Theon, others are elsewhere on Sornieth (or Sornieth 2), but most of them are still in Selcouth.

Not all of my dragons from this universe are gods. Some are other supernatural creatures and others are mortals.

The lore of this world is too complex to go into here.

Universe 4: Fernweh

The Fernweh Angels exist in between worlds. They monitor the multiverse for their Creators. Few are visiting Sornieth to investigate some recent anomalies that have been occurring.

Ok I have the same problem as the last ask where that WBW post is numbered different depending if you’re looking at it on mobile or desktop to I guess I have double the questions to answer lol.

I’ll start with the desktop versions

How are the leaders chosen? Do they fight for the position? Are they divinely chosen? Are they elected?

For Clan Ton Theon, leaders are chosen by the previous leader. The same goes with PASC.

Clan Ula has a matriarchy. 

Heartstone Valley holds elections. 

Someone would have to kill Juno to take her pirate ship for Foo’s Eye Galleon.

Ember Sun and BB INC are businesses so it’ll be whoever is the assistant manager when Lavender and Rhyder retire.

The rest of my clans are temporary, and the leaders either never planned on forming a clan and don’t plan on continuing the clan when the clan’s purpose has been met (Like Clan Nihil only exists because Andromeda is using dragons to build her a rocketship into space)

Oh and the leader of the Shade Haven is immortal so. There’s not going to be another leader

When dragons wish to become mates, how does that happen? Is there a ceremony? Do they just mutually agree to it? Is their mate already chosen for them?

For the most part dragons get to chose their partners. And ceremonies just depend on the couple. My dragons come from all sorts of backgrounds and traditions so there’s all kinds of celebrations and ceremonies some may like to perform! But I also have many dragons who don’t have any sort of ceremony or celebration for the occasion. 

What dragons make up your most disgustingly cute relationship? What makes them so cute?

This is a hard one, but I’ve got to say Bluemoon and Wish. 

These two grew up in Clan Lampsi which is not one of my nicer clans. Bluemoon was shunned and outcast due to her uncanny appearance to the infamous Sapphiremoon. It angered the dragons of Lampsi how much Blue looked like Sapphire, a dragon who had hurt and used them and took their anger for Sapphire out on Blue.

Meanwhile Wish was the pampered but misunderstood daughter of the clan leader. Shiningscourage loved her daughter, but was too controlling. Wish felt isolated just like Blue did and Wish ended up developing a crush on Blue.

Long story short Blue ended up falling for Wish as well and the two ended up escaping from Clan Lampsi on the back of an Emperor.

If your clan is religious, how is worship done? Privately? Is there a large ceremony?

None of my clans are very religious. I am currently working on a new clan that is a bit too religious though (hint: It’s a cult)

Clan Ton Theon is already a hodgepodge of dragons from multiple flights, so they don’t have any malice toward any other flights as a whole (Although a few indivdual dragons might). Worship of other deities is A OK!

The Lampsi Emperor

Previously

“It’s so uncanny how much she looks like Sapphire…”

“You don’t think it’s really her do you?”

Bluemoon opened her eyes. Her body ached, but that was nothing new. What was new was that she felt something soft underneath her. She was laying in a bed. She was so used to sleeping on the lifeless ground of Lampsi, that she was shocked.

“Oh! She’s awake.”

Blue saw two dragons look down at her. One was a green tundra with Arcane eyes and the other was a blue spiral that glowed slightly.

“Is this… Is this Ton Theon?” Blue tried to get up, but the tundra stopped her.

“Whoa there. You’re in no condition to move about. You’re lucky you got here when you did. Your body has been cannibalizing itself, there’s hardly anything left of you. You’re in desperate need of rest and nutrition.”

“And yes. This is Ton Theon,” The spiral added.

“Are you two the clan healers?”

“That’s right. I’m Hecate,” The tundra said “And this is Alaria,” She gestured to the spiral.

“And I believe your little pukasloth friend said your name was Bluemoon?” Alaria asked.

Blue nodded “Where… Where is he? Where is Cam?”

“The pukasloth?”

“Yes! Is he ok?”

Hecate placed her paw on Blue’s shoulder and gently pushed her so she laid back down in her bed “He’s fine. We’ll bring him in to visit soon, alright?”

Blue nodded “O-ok…”

“You… You wouldn’t happen to be related to Sapphiremoon, would you?” Alaria piped up.

Bluemoon flinched “I’m not her! I swear. I don’t know why I look like her, but we’re not the same dragon! I know… I know she did awful things, but you have to believe me. I never even met her!”

“Shh, It’s alright,” Hecate said “If you were Sapphire I would know, and it’s obvious you’re not.”

“It is?”

“Yes. I knew Sapphire. She was always so mad and stubborn. She refused to listen to anyone and always insisted that her way was the only way. She manipulated other dragons. She lied to them, and she destroyed our old home because of it. She tried to kill me because of it.”

“That sounds horrible. I’m so sorry…”

“It’s not your fault. I can tell that you’re a good dragon, and you’ve had to endure a lot of suffering you didn’t deserve. But you’re in Ton Theon now. We used to be called Seeking Clan, the Clan of Second Chances, maybe we can be that again.”

“Thank you. Thank you so much…” Bluemoon wiped away a tear  “When, when will I be fully healed?”

“Well… Unfortunately my magic isn’t very useful for this.”

“And neither are my herbs,” Alaria said “What you need the most is rest and proper nutrition, and to let your body slowly rebuild itself.”

“It could take months until you’re able to function properly.”

“What?!” Blue shouted “But I can’t! I need to save Wish!”

“Whoa! Whoa calm down! Who’s Wish?”

“She’s… She’s my girlfriend and she’s trapped all alone on Lampsi! Please I need to save her! I need her to be alright!”

Hecate frowned “I understand how hard that is. To be separated from a loved one. Don’t worry, I’ll tell Nike about it. I’m sure she’ll assemble a team of dragons to rescue her. Your girlfriend is going to be alright, but right now you need to focus on yourself. I’m sure it’s what your girlfriend would want, right?”

Blue was silent for a moment, and then nodded.

“It’s going to be alright. You should try going back to sleep. I could cast a spell on you to numb any pain you’re in first though.”

“You can do that?”

“Of course. My magic is good for things like that, and I’d be happy to do whatever I can to help you.”

“Then yes, I would like that. Thank you. Thank you so much. I’ve… I’ve never had anyone be so nice to me before. Besides Wish of course…”

“Well you better get used to it, because that’s what we do here. We help each other, and we’re nice to each other,” Hecate waved her paw in the air and a pink cloud appeared. It fell onto Blue and soaked into her feathers. She let out a breath of relief and relaxed.

“Wow… is this what it’s like to not be in pain for once? Wow…”

“Also before you fall asleep, would you ever be interested in flying again?” Alaria asked.

“Flying? But isn’t my wing too mangled to be repaired? It… it healed all wrong ages ago.”

“Your wing can’t be healed, but I can build you a new one.”

“Build?”

“Yes. I’m not just a healer, but a mechanic. I have crafted prosthetics for many dragons before. I’ve even recreated a mechanical nervous system! A wing would be a piece of cake.”

“I don’t know what cake is, but if it’s no trouble, I would like to fly again. Thank you.”

“It will be no problem,” Alaria smiled.

Bluemoon shut her eyes, and it wasn’t long before she drifted back to sleep.

“Keep an eye on her,” Hecate said “I’m going to talk to Nike. We’re saving her girlfriend.”

Alaria nodded as Hecate left the Healing Den.

Wish sobbed. What else could she do but cry? It was bad enough that Bluemoon was gone, but now so were her birds. Shining had just took them away like they were some toys and Wish was just a child misbehaving.

“I’m not a kid!” Wish punched her door “Stop treating me like one!” She sniffled.

“Hey, settle down in there!” The guard on the other side of her door growled.

“I shouldn’t be a prisoner in my own home! Let me out!”

“No. I’m under Shining’s orders to watch you.”

Wish charged her door and tried to break it down, but she wasn’t strong enough. Instead she just slumped next to it and sobbed more.

“Would you quit it? If you break that door Shining is gonna-” The guard opened the door a crack, and then stopped. Another dragon approached him out of breath.

“Where’s Shining? It’s an emergency!”

“What’s wrong?”

The other dragon gulped “There’s… a creature approaching the border! I… I don’t know what it is. It looked like an Imperial, but it’s all wrong.”

“What do you mean?”

“Does it matter? I need to report it to Shining, and quick! It’s moving fast.”

“Alright, I think she’s in her throne-” A roar cut the guard off.

“Holy Shadowbinder, it’s here already?!”

“Run!” The guards both screamed and run down the hallway. Wish poked her head out of her door when they were gone and looked around. She didn’t see anything.

Wish shrugged, and began to walk down the hallway toward the exit. The hallway suddenly turned dark as something blocked the light coming in through the skylight above. Wish looked up and saw a large snout sniffing the skylight. The nose was so big that it covered the glass.

“Whoa… Are you an imperial?” Wish asked “I’ve never met an imperial before!” The glass shattered above her as the creature pushed its snout through. Wish quickly ran out of the way of the broken glass “Hey! That wasn't nice. I could have gotten hurt!”

The creature snorted and pulled its snout out from what once was a sunlight. It roared and then a different colored snout sniffed against the hole.

“There’s… Two of you?”

The second creature grabbed the roof of the hallway in it’s mouth and ripped it off, sending sunlight to bathe the usually gloomy passage. With the roof gone Wish now had a better view of her visitor.

“Whoa…”

The creature’s basic shape was that of an imperial, the largest breed of dragon that roamed Sornieth. Wish had never met one before, but even she understood that they weren't supposed to have three heads.

One head was black with a crystal texture that sparkled in the light, and a slick wavy mane and beard. His eyes were the light green of a wind dragon, and embedded into his head and neck were tangled thorns. His lips were nearly rotted away, giving him a permanent smile of jagged teeth. The middle head was brown with a rich blue mane. The top of her head had rotted to reveal bone, and what were once her eyes were now empty sockets. The last head looked the most alive of the three. He had dark blue water eyes, light pink skin, and a full metallic blue mane. He would have looked like a normal dragon if it wasn’t for his missing antler and the cut across his throat that still had dried blood around it.

All three heads turned to stare at Wish. The middle growled.

Wish took a step back “Hey, hey I’m not here to cause any trouble! Don’t mind me!” She smiled nervously. The pink head sniffed her.

“Um… my name is Wish, do you three have names? Is there anything you need here or…?”

The middle head opened her mouth, as if to speak, but all that came out was a rough bark. Her head pointed down the hallway where Shiningscourge’s throne room was.

“Do you… want to see my mom?”

The middle head snorted.

“I can take you guys to her if you want. Just follow me!” Wish began to move back the way she came from and the three headed imperial followed her. The pink head peeled back the roof off of the hallway as he walked alongside her. The creature didn’t exactly walk, but stumbled. Its legs were all colored differently and they weren't the same size. Actually it appeared to have more than four legs, and it had two tails that were tangled together. Its wings were mismatched, but otherwise looked normal.

“Alright! This is my mom’s room. Be warned though she’s probably going to be REALLY mad. I wasn’t supposed to leave my room, and you guys kinda… wrecked the hallway.”

The middle head wasn’t paying attention. She broke the door down.

“Alright… who needs knocking, right?” Wish inched inside “Huh… I guess mom left. Sorry guys she isn’t here. But she might be-” The creature ripped off the roof of Shining’s room and began to knock things around and dig into the floor.

“Are you looking for something?” Wish asked. The creature ripped up a rug, which revealed a rusted trap door. The door had beautiful oriental designs carved inside and runes that Wish didn’t recognize “I had no idea this was here. Mother always said she founded this clan to protect something hidden here. Is this it? Is this why you’re here?”

The creature clawed at the trap door and whimpered when its claws did nothing.

“Here, maybe I can open it,” Wish grabbed the handle and began to lift, but the door was sealed shut “It must have some sort of spell on it. Don’t worry though! I’ll think of someway to get it open for you!”

The middle head growled and shot ice at the door.

“Don’t do that! You’ll just make it harder to open!”

The pink head began to whimper, and Wish tried to open the door again. She strained so hard she pulled a muscle in her arm. She let go and yelped.

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry but I can’t do it!” Tears welled in her eyes “I really am useless. I can’t do anything right! I should have just stayed in my room and listened to mother…” A tear fell, and splashed onto the trapdoor. The moment the tear sunk into the metal, the door began to glow, and with a creak it sprun open.

Wish sniffled “I… I did it?” She gazed below, and a pool of golden liquid rippled in a chamber beneath the trapdoor “What… What is that?”

The middle head gently nudged Wish away and stuck her tongue into the liquid, lapping it up. The other two heads took turns drinking the liquid, until only a few drops they couldn’t reach were left. Wish scooped up a drop that was leftover with her claw and licked it.

“Bleh! That tastes awful! Why did you guys do that?”

The creature answered by all three heads licking Wish.

Wish giggled “Hey stop it! That’s gross!” The middle head nuzzled her and purred “Does this mean we’re friends now? Oh this is great! I thought Bluemoon was my only friend!”

Wish gasped “Bluemoon! You guys can take me to her! Oh wow… I can. I can actually leave. If you guys help me anyway. Would you do that?”

The middle head nuzzled Wish.

“I take that as a yes! Thank you so much! Oh I better go pack up, and then I need to find out what mother did with my birds. Stay right here, I’ll be back!” She ran back into her room and grabbed a bag and began to stuff whatever she could find into it.

“I can’t leave without my jewelry kit, or my feather collection! Oh and this is my favorite dress! And my pillow! And maaaybe my old blanket from when I was a hatchling…” Once the bag was full she took a deep breath “Ok. That’s it. Everything else I’ll just have to leave behind. That’s fine. It was miserable here anyway. But still. Even if I didn’t like it here, it was still home.” She took one last look at her room and turned away “Now to find my birds.”

Wish explored room after room within the clan, but she couldn’t find any sign of her birds, or of anyone else. She was beginning to become frantic when she heard someone behind her.

“Wish! Oh thank goodness you’re safe! The Emperor has destroyed the left wing, we need to get you somewhere safe.”

Wish turned to confront her mother “Where are my birds?”

“Now, now don’t do this. Come on, I know where you’ll be safe,” Shining grabbed Wish’s paw, but Wish snarled at her mother.

“I’m not going anywhere without my birds! What did you do with them?!”

“They’re fine dear, just come along with me.”

“Where are they?”

“Don’t use that tone of voice on me.” Shiningscourge tugged at Wish’s arm, but she stayed rooted in place.

“Give me my birds back!” Wish shouted and her voice echoed down the tunnel she was in.

“Shh! Be quiet the Emperor-” Shining was cut off by the sound of loud thumping footsteps approaching “Shit! Wish come on! We need to hide!”

Light shone through the tunnel as something pulled the top off of it. The three heads of the creature peered through the hole that they created.

“Holy Shadowbinder…” Shining gasped and backed away, all four of her purple eyes locked on the fearsome creature above.

“Like my new friend, mother?” Wish stepped toward Shining, feeling empowered  “I helped them, so now they’re going to help me. So, where are my birds?!”

“They’re… They’re in Erebus’s room!”

Wish grinned “Thank you!” The middle head of the Emperor bent down, and Wish climbed on top of it “His room is on the right wing, could you take me there?” The head purred and the entire creature began to move. Wish had to grab a clawfull of the Emperor’s mane so she didn’t fall.

“Wow… I’ve never been this high up before. It’s amazing.”

The Emperor lifted up the roof of the right wing and Wish could hear the sound of chirping below.

“I can hear them! Let me down please!” The middle head lowered and Wish glided off of it, landing right next to Erebus’s door.

It was locked, so she began to punch it “Let! Me! In!” The birds began making a racket as they heard their owner’s voice. Wish slammed into the door with her entire body, which sent the door crashing down.

“My birds! It’s alright my dears, I’m here!”

“Wish?” Her father, Erebus crawled out from under his bed “What are you doing here? You should be in your room hiding from the Emperor!”

“Dad, I’m fine. I’m actually friends with this ‘Emperor’ now!”

“What?”

“It didn’t hurt me, it just wanted that golden stuff mom had hidden in her throne room!”

“Golden stuff? Wait you mean… oh no, and you’re saying the Emperor got it?!”

“Yeah! I ate some of it too. It didn’t taste very good.”

“You did?!”

“Yep! Anyway, I’m just here to get my birds and leave. Bye!” Wish grabbed the cart filled with birdcages and began to wheel it out of the room.

Erebus was frozen for a moment “Wait Wish!”

“Bye dad! I’m going to find my girlfriend, you know the dragon you and everyone else nearly bullied to death? Yeah. I’m going to find her with the help of my new three headed friend and there’s nothing you can do about it! Bye!”

The Emperor’s middle head lowered and allowed Wish to roll her birds onto it. Wish waved to her father below, while she rested on top of the head. Erebus only just stared with his jaw open and his eyes wide with a combination of awe and terror.

“Alright new friend, take me to Clan Ton Theon, it’s by the Beacon of the Radiant Eye!”

All three heads snarled, and the Emperor began to move.

Please note that we do not have to breed our dragons together. For most of my dragons I’d actually prefer not to breed. RPing is also optional and I’d like to keep it SFW. Also I am an adult, and am not comfortable shipping with minors.

Selcouth Dragons: These are dragons from an alien world called Selcouth. In this world they ruled as gods, but on Sornieth they are mortal just like any other dragon. Note: None of these are open for breeding.

Match - Straight male. Mean. Also dying. Tried to kill a child once. Murdered his brother, Sepulchral. Former God of Accidents.
