All parties involved in that situation are weirdos, we don't know who said what but I'm not gonna defend MJF or Britt both of them are idiots to me irl, Alicia is said to be difficult to work with too, so that's why it's all a mess, none of them have braincell.

When people think of the brawl they think of CM Punk VS The Elite. This whole situation surrounding Phill and Adam, this everlasting hatred that has formed between the Elite and Punk but people forgot about me. Not once have I heard anything about me. I’m not saying this for attention but people don’t understand how difficult this whole situation has been for me. Being the sister of the young bucks and the wife of cm punk put me in a difficult position. I saw first hand how the whole fight played out. I had heard the media scrum and it made me sick. Phill and I had spent the past few months arguing, it really bothered me hearing him shit on Hangman. I didn’t understand the hate towards him. I knew that once we got home I would talk to him about his choice of words at the media scrum. I sat in the private locker room crying, my twin brother Nick comforting me. I told him how I didn’t think I could do it anymore, yes Phill is my husband but the elite is my family. The two of us had been seeing a marriage counselor, and a therapist, an idea that Phill hated. I just wanted to better understand the situation, how I could help Phill.
I heard the locker room door swing open and was greeted by ace steel who started yelling and destroying the locker room. Just then I saw Phill enter. Look in my eyes, what do you see? Well looking into his eyes I could see the pure rage in them, I couldn't even recognize him. I couldn't move, my body frozen in fear as I watched the whole situation unfold before my eyes. People were screaming, punching, biting, trying to kill each other. I could faintly hear someone yell for me to watch out, Nick grabbing me and pulling me to the ground in order to avoid a chair that was being thrown right at me. As I hit the floor reality set in, that was not any chair but some crazy decided to throw an office chair at my head, barely missing me. Looking up I saw regret in Phills eyes, he was crying. The whole room went quiet, realizing that he was the one to throw the chair. I quickly got up and grabbed my purse and phone, trying to get out of the room as fast as I could, tears continuing to fall. Phill stopped me in my tracks, pulling me towards him. He wrapped his arms around me holding me close, I was frozen, stiff as a board. He whispered sweet nothings and kept apologizing, kissing my forehead, saying he loved me and he didn’t know what came over him. I tried to break free of his grasp and he eventually gave up, letting me go but the look in his eyes terrified me.
Just then security finally came into the room escorting everyone out of the arena. I spent that night with Kenny, it was like our old days in Japan sharing a hotel room. The both of us were silent, still trying to process what had happened. I knew I wanted a divorce, this was the final straw but even if the other things didn’t happen I would have still filed for a divorce after the brawl. Is it bad that if this happened with anyone else I wouldn't have cared, it was the fact that this involved my family that made me so mad. For god sakes Matt and Nick are his brother in laws. I ignored Phill’s calls, his texts, I knew I needed a break. The suspension didn’t surprise me, we all knew it was coming but it sucked that Kenny, Nick and Matt became the first ever trios champions, only to get them taken away 24hrs later. The news articles came fast, everyone talking about the situation. I didn’t even bother coming home, I got the first flight out of Chicago to California. I knew Phill would know I would try to escape to our Cali home so I packed all of my things and Matt was kind enough to let me stay with him for the time being.
It took me three months to see him again. Around christmas time Phill and I went back to our therapy sessions. I could tell that he was genuinely sorry but I could never look at him the same after what happened. I didn’t want a divorce, I loved him but the situation tore my family apart, it got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. Divorce was the best option even though it would make things worse. Phill was my husband, we shared so much together, he helped me feel feelings that I lost years ago. He knew my past, he knew my trauma, never once judging me for it, instead helping me through an episode. That’s what made this so hard, my brain blocked out all the negatives in him, so in love, ignoring the flaws yet that fight remains clear as day, I will never forget it, no matter how hard I try. Matt and Nick were my brothers, Kenny and Adam were like family, they were there for me longer than Phill was. I would always pick them but I felt so guilty about it. They helped me through the situation with Phill, believe it or not they encouraged me to try and make amends with him despite legally not being allowed within 10 ft from another.
***
We continued therapy once a week for another 6 months, just before he would come back to AEW and join Collision, the show we made for him, in order to keep everyone separate. I was there backstage representing the EVPs when the show made its debut. I watched from a backstage monitor as Phill made his return, the Chicago crowd going crazy for him. I saw that spark in his eyes that was lost long ago, it killed me watching him perform. I was so proud of him, but also angry. We mutually agreed on a divorce despite still loving the other, he loved me more but it didn’t matter what he said or did I would always go back to the fight. I was mad that he made me leave. How hard was it to get along with everyone? It took us several sessions to even be able to be in the same room as the other without screaming at eachother, constantly arguing, hating the other.
***
As the weeks went on everything actually seemed to be going well. From my knowledge everyone had been getting along quite well despite what went on once collision went off the air. All In was soon approaching and things actually looked like they might be able to go back to normal but of course that would be a lie. I was informed about the fight with Perry right before we went on air for the PPV. In a way I found it funny, of course there was another fight, did he not learn his lesson the first time? Despite the fight it was too late to change the card as I heard cult of personality starting to play on the speakers. This time the fight was over a spot with real glass. It was a stupid fight but it was fine, Perry deserved it. I’m honestly surprised it didn’t happen before, the kid needed a reality check. Unfortunately this would be the last straw for Phill and it looked like this time he would get fired for his actions. Perry might have provoked the fight but Punk was the first to lay hands. On one hand I felt bad for Phill the other I found it pathetic and hilarious. Security was waiting for the match to be over, ready to escort Phill out of the building due to his actions.
I stood next to them, Tony wanting me to talk to him about the situation.
“Was it worth it?” I asked Phill as he entered the backstage area, successfully defending a title that wouldn't even matter in a few days.
“Who else can say they beat the shit out of Perry minutes before opening the biggest wrestling show of all time” Phill said with a soft laugh “And winning might I add”
“This isn’t funny” I told him “Why don’t you give a shit? Do you know how hard I had to work to not get you fired the first time? I built you your own god dam show and this is how you repay me?” I yelled
“I don’t see the same person I loved when I look at you anymore.” I told him, not even caring that all of our co-workers were watching the whole scene unfold before their eyes.
“How many times do I have to say I’m sorry. I can’t change what happened between the two of us but if I could take it all back I would, I love you Y/n” He said in a soft tone as he tried to get closer to me, security holding him in place.
I could see the crazy look in his eyes, it was the same look I saw during the brawl. “You don’t love me, if you loved me you wouldn't have started this shit in the first place. I don’t care how many times you beg for my forgiveness, you can’t take back what you said.”
“I’m sorry baby, I’m sorry I hurt you”
“I really wish things could have worked between us. I hate you. Get him out of here” and with that security escorted him out of the building. I could feel all the eyes on me, people in shock of what just happened.

bad blood predictions!! 🧌🔥 10.5.24
this is an insane yap fest once again just like how it was w my summerslam predictions so BEWARB ‼️ /ref
🦇 - liv morgan (c) vs rhea ripley
winner? probably rhea ripley
why? I feel like this would only be this way because usually when they fight, dom is always out there, and he usually costs the match for rhea which allows liv to win. if hes in a fucking shark cage above the ring then i think livs lowkey cooked 😭😭 the only way liv would win is if dom threw up on rhea bc of him being claustrophobic LMFAO...plus im rlly tired of liv with the belt like girl i love liv just as the next person but rhea didnt LOSE her title?! she gave it up bc of injury and seeing liv flaunt this belt around irks me so uhm !! rhea better win lowkey (but i still have a feeling livs gonna win im just biased as hell😽😽)
🦇 - damian priest vs finn bálor:
winner? finn's winning this shit im not gonna lie
why? bc its finn fucking balor ?? im sorry but damian has been getting his ASS BEAT lately and while yeah duh its a 4 on 1, even when it isnt his ass is getting beat 🤧 id still be happy if he wins dont get me wrong but i have a feeling finn is gonna annihilate him fr fr...plus finn is still extremely angry with damian and how he still has this grudge against him so hes gonna fight harder to win bc of how hurt he is.
🦇 - nia jax (c) vs bayley
winner? nia jax
why? bc once again hello its nia jax ?? have yall SEEN the way she literally kills these mfs and runs thru them like theyre absolutely nothing it's hilarious 😭😭😭 i love them both but nia jax has had a fantasic ass title run and i still wanna see what she will do more of if she retains. bailey as champ was lowkey boring anyway so im rooting for my girl jax on this one...plus, even tho it's cliché, i kind if hope tiffany does cash in on her so that there can be more of a storyline to continue on :-)
🦇 - cody rhodes/roman reigns vs the bloodline
winner? cody and roman lol
why? i feel like wwe would of course let cody snd roman beat the ever living shit out the bloodline bc this fake bloodline bs has been going on for such a long time yk and with roman being back, hes gonna try and get that ula fala back so that he can once again be considered the tribal chief! itll make him more of a face imo which i think is what wwe is trying to do and uhm cody is already the face of wwe atp so u already know they have to make it like...a hero complex ☠️ i also wanna see how theyll continue this storyline if cody and roman win too bc what would be next?? so exciting!! i also hope either paul heyman, jimmy uso, or the rock returns on this since cody rhodes teased that a "big man" is coming back on the pat mcafee show
🦇 - CM PUNK VS DREW MCINTYRE GIGGLES SQUEALS KICKS MY FEET BLUSHES my bad
winner? uhm..well..fuck...
why? for some reason with cm punk and drew matches, its always hard to just think about a clear winner bc for one, they r both going to (AND PROMISED BTW) to fucking DESTROY eachother, so if theyre both promising the same shit, its harder to like pick n choose bc i could see either of them winning. i feel like for me, i think drew will win just so that he can flaunt and say he beat cm punk for the last time and then the feud will (FUCKING SADLY) be over bc if punk wins, drews gonna start crying n shit again yk LMAOOO so i think drew will have his last win against cm punk so that they can move on and make more feuds 🙏 they r abt to kiss in ring tho mark my words, they finna pull a hangman/swerve BAHAH
#hell yeah punkoween yap fest strikes back!#sorry for how many cuss words r in this goodness...#sometimes im very unfiltered#wwe#wwe lb#wwe bad blood#bad blood 2024#bad blood lb#liv morgan#rhea ripley#damian priest#finn balor#nia jax#bayley#cody rhodes#roman reigns#cm punk#drew mcintyre#punkintyre#wwe predictions#predictions#punkoween yaps#selfryed speaks

maybe this is just me being a fake shield stan™ but i haven't been that invested in any of their characters in 5 years. that doesn't mean they haven't done good stuff and had good matches because of course they did. because they're very good at this wrestling thing. and i'm glad they've all been enjoying what they've been doing. there's been gems here and there that i've enjoyed like the early days of the roman/jey storyline and mox vs omega and seth's promos with punk. but it's not gonna hit as hard as the like 5 years post-split that dean and seth somehow spent completely intertwined with each other while also having other feuds and storylines and that's fine. that's wrestling. your faves are not always gonna be involved in 100% compelling storylines all of the time. there's peaks and lulls. nothing is ever gonna be as good as the shield was to me and that's okay. the shield storyline has basically run its course and that's a good thing actually. wrestling could stand to not milk every single storyline within an inch of its life more often. i'd love to see seth and jon back together again but also i don't want to see them feud. of course there's compelling storylines without feuding but again this is wrestling and that's just how it goes most of the time. so i'm fine without it.
so yeah i have my favourites but i'm always gonna be attracted to the storyline first and foremost. that's why adamjf and swerve/hangman and drew/punk and toni/mariah and even mjf/ospreay have been so appealing to me in the last year. nothing's ever gonna compare to the shield but that doesn't mean it has to go on forever to keep meaning something. wrestling moves fast and a lot of fans have short memories. but something can end and still be the best.

In and Out
I'll write this while I wait for All Out to start. I really expected the Punk/Perry suspension to drag on for weeks, just like the Punk/Elite situation from Brawl Out '22. But apparently Brawl In '23 was a much simpler case, because Tony Khan announced CM Punk's termination just in time for the start of Collision five days later.
There's a lot of different accounts of what happened backstage at All In, and apparently the incident was caught on security cameras, but I have a feeling we won't learn the full truth for a long time. I wouldn't say Jack Perry comes out of this smelling like a rose, but it sounds like no version of events makes Punk look good at all. Like, good for him because he wanted to prevent Perry from doing a spot with real glass, but it's hard to believe he was worried about Perry's well-being when the story ends with him choking out Perry backstage.
I probably haven't heard all of the stories, but I've heard enough to get the picture that Punk was keeping certain talent away from Collision shows, like Collision is his own personal kingdom. Hangman Page can't tape a segment during a Collision show. Ryan Nemeth can't be on Collision because he dunked on Punk on Twitter. I guess some of the women couldn't appear on Collision for some reason or another? I have no idea what the agenda was except that it was Punk making all these decisions. Apparently Jack Perry's glass spot was approved by AEW then countermanded by Punk. Then Perry does a different glass spot at All In and Punk gets mad enough to fight him.
The whole thing just makes it sound like Punk wanted to have authority in AEW, and maybe he got some, but he got upset at even the slightest sign of defiance. On the Collision premiere, he told the fans they could like him or hate him, and say whatever they wanted about him. A few weeks later, he spotted a "Punk fears Hangman" sign in the crowd and cut a promo burying Hangman. For a hot minute, I was excited that this might be an early sign of a Punk vs. Elite program on the horizon, but no. Later, it came to light that Punk had no clearance to do this, and he later texted an apology to Hangman for what he said. I guess he had been hoping to set up a Punk/Elite program in the future and wanted to keep the flame flickering, but that's stupid. Stunts like that just make guys like Hangman want to work with him less. It's becoming clear to me that he only went off on that sign because it pissed him off and he couldn't let it go.
Seriously, why would the Elite want to work a program with CM Punk? Hangman dropped the world title to CM Punk, and then he did that segment where he called out Hangman without authorization. Then Punk whined to Sports Illustrated about how Hanger's punches were too stiff. Then he foiled that segment taping during a Collision show. Then he cut the action figures promo after Collision went off the air. Why would Hangman ever want to work with this guy again? He's still getting receipts for the first time.
The only arguments for putting up with Punk's bullshit are financial. He's a draw. He moves merch. I saw someone on Twitter last week arguing that Punk should be allowed to remain with AEW his merch outsells Elite merch like five times over. If they ever did a Punk/Elite match, it would make tons of money. Okay, sure. But the argument makes it sound like AEW should just put up with any bad behavior from this guy, simply because he's too profitable. Where does it end? Is Punk allowed to choke out Jack Perry simply because he's popular? If he became more popular, would that mean he could do even worse things to people? If Jack Perry suddenly became more popular, would that magically put him in the right?
The thing I noticed watching AEW this week is that Chicago isn't that upset about Punk's absence. The 8/31 Dynamite was in Chicago, and there didn't seem to be any reaction to Punk's suspension. Punk's firing was announced at the 9/2 Collision, and the crowd was rowdy during Khan's speech, and a CM Punk chant broke out during the Young Bucks run-in at the end of the show, but it was a lot weaker than I expected.
Now I'm about 45 minutes into this All Out pre-show, and I haven't heard any CM Punk chants at all. We'll see if that holds, but I think if Chicago were that pissed about Punk's firing, they would have already let us know. Either AEW's production crew got really good at sweetening the crowd noise, or Chicago's AEW fanbase has begun to move on. I don't know if they've just given up, or they've decided that Brawl In was a bridge too far. They might still be loyal to Punk, and they may even feel he's in the right, but what can they expect Tony Khan to do?
In the end, it just feels like Punk in AEW was never going to work. People quote that "Fragile mind" promo by Moxley, or that thing Triple H said about him back in WWE, but the bottom line is that they basically gave this guy a lot of concessions and it still wasn't enough. If they let Brawl In slide after everything else, then what was going to happen next?
The only real sympathy for Punk I can muster in all of this is that it does suck how his travel arrangements got screwed up at Wembly. I don't know if that was an Elite conspiracy or just an innocent mistake, but that sounds pretty bush league for a promotion bragging about holding the biggest show ever. And I guess I feel bad for Punk's dog last year, but if you pick fights with your dog in the room, your dog might get hurt. If you pick fights with your boss in the room, your boss might fire you. That's how real life works.
People are already saying he'll go back to WWE, or go to Impact, like he couldn't have done that years ago. The whole point of him going to AEW was to be part of this big promotion that was presented as an alternative to WWE and all the things he hated about WWE. People say "Never say never", but if Punk does sign with WWE I've got no sympathy for whatever bullshit he has to put up with there. I was happy for the guy when he left in 2014. It seemed like he'd never wrestle again, but so what? He was retiring at 35, five world title reigns, he got the money, got the girl, why screw that up?
Anyway, All Out's starting, so I'd better wrap this up. I hope Punk never goes near a wrestling ring again, and I hope Chicago can find solace in AEW running Punk-free shows in their town 875 times a year.

That Time I was All In: Pictures Part 4 (Main Card Part 1: Punk/Joe, Bullet Club Gold/Golden Lovers & Hangman)
One of the few times you may see Hangman and Punk in the same space XD the first set of #danwhosallin pictures for the main card unfortunately had a lot of smudgy images for Punk/Joe, but it was firmly Samoa Joe territory in my part of the crowd. Controversy aside, Punk can rile a crowd with zero effort, just wish he kept it in the ring, I got the setup for the Pepsi Plunge finish but everyone was stood up for the drop. BCG vs Golden Elite and Hangman had a lot of pics, lots of spots I just barely missed, fair amount of Takeshita smacking the shit outta people though. We did a lot of Ass Boys chanting that the Gunns reacted to, would've liked to have seen more of Jay White tbf, and gotten some shots of Juice being loose.

Was really excited to find out you like wrestling! Was wondering, do you watch AEW, and if so do you have any favourites over there?
not really recently. i was VERY excited for aew when it first started but i cooled off on it so much. this mainly stems from the fact that i find the young bucks, kenny omega, and hangman incredibly boring and samesy every time they wrestle. i was into it until kenny became a cartoonish heel and i tuned out and i basically came back for cm punk. i followed them through out but the last event i watched was wembly because i just. don't care about the product really? i find it very boring and i find everyone either has an uninteresting character or seem fake.
that isn't to say it's all bad though i think aew has a ton of talent and a lot of good stories. MJF is pretty much the best heel in wrestling. Adam Cole is fantastic. Brian Danielson of course, everything he does is gold basically. Is Keith Lee still there? Love that man. Miro of course. Penta El Zero is literally one of my top 10 fave wrestlers probably. And I of course I love Somoa Joe. Oh Orange Cassidy, what the hell is he even up to.
As for favorite matches it's def CM Punk vs. MJF in the dog collar match above everything else. But also The Lucha Bros vs. Young Bucks in a cage at...All In 2021 I think? Orange Cassidy vs. Cody Rhodes (10.14.2020) (I have a fucking list lmao). Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson (09.22.2021). Honestly, pretty much any match with Orange Cassidy - his debut with Pac, the triple threat world title match with Kenny and Pac, Orange vs. Ospreay. All great matches.
I have left out the women a lot because I think AEW does a shit job with it's women's division. They have a lot of talent and I feel like they're never used right or don't get enough time. That said I adore Hikaru Shida, I love Brit Baker, Abadon is from Denver and I got to see her wrestle before she was AEW so I rep her forever, Nyla Rose - i gotta rep my native trans sister, and i love my girl Ruby Soho even if they never let her be champion :(
the only women's match i have marked in my list is brit baker vs. ruby soho (09.22.2021). I wanna say I liked the hikaru shida vs....i wanna say thunder rosa but I might be full of shit. idk.
but yeah, i'll probably watch em again. i have every ppv on my computer i just gotta watch em.

Just some quick thoughts on All In. There will be spoilers.
Zero Hour
I, 100% did not expect Adam and MJF to win, at all. I expected there to be the initial start of a betrayal or something. I was pleasantly surprised, since I love the two of them.
Aussie Open seems really good. I should probably check out ROH.
Hook is one of my favorite anime protagonists, and Jack Perry has improved so much by being a complete piece of shit.
Also, Taz being hyped up for everything Hook does will literally never get old. Dude just sounds so proud every damn time.
CM Punk vs Samoa Joe
I don't really care a whole lot about CM Punk. I've seen a few of his pre-AEW matches, and I think he cuts a fun promo. I also think he's clearly enjoying himself, which makes watching his matches more enjoyable, in their own way.
That said, watching Samoa Joe just beat the absolute fuck out of Punk for most of the match was beautiful. I missed Joe in the original ROH and TNA/Impact, but his NXT and WWE stuff was so fun. Joe works at such a great pace, too. He literally always feels like a threat.
Seeing "real world championship" in quotes every time they mention CM Punk’s belt always reminds me of when AJ Styles was being announced in WWE as "The Man Who Would Like to be Announced as 'The Face that Runs the Place'"
Golden Elite vs Bullet Club Gold w/ Takeshita
Juice Robinson is my favorite feral little gremlin in pro wrestling.
Jay White is a beautiful piece of shit and I love him for it. He's also so fucking good in the ring.
Takeshita is also fantastic and has been consistently great.
I love how much everyone hates Don Callis.
Golden☆Lovers OTP
Hangman Adam Page is one of all-time favorite wrestlers. Just always happy to see him out there.
Ibushi tried to murder people with his kicks and it was fantastic shit.
A shitty surprise pin on Kenny Omega is absolutely on brand. I was peeved in a good way.
FTR vs Young Bucks
Fuck the Revival. I also like FTR a lot. Been a fan of theirs since NXT, and I loved seeing them draped in gold not that long ago.
I don't always feel like watching a Young Bucks match, but I always enjoy the match when it's done.
FTR and the Bucks were top-tier tag team wrestling today.
I legitimately expected FTR to lose, given the legal troubles that Cash could be facing. Seeing FTR win was a nice surprise.
FTR having arm bands for Brodie Lee, Bray Wyatt, and Jay Briscoe was so sweet, and so sad.
Stadium Stampede
Find someone who loves you as much as Eddie Kingston hates Claudi Castagnoli.
Mox looked so fucking cool walking out.
Oh my god, Trent, why, what the fuck. Please stop.
Someone getting skewers stabbed into their heads will always make me wince and laugh simultaneously.
Penta being walked backstage by medics only to return as Penta Oscuro was amazing shit. Penta is great.
Wheeler Yuta is the perfect person in BCC to be a bloodthirsty little goblin that you want to see eat the pin. He does his job well.
Also Best Friends hugging Yuta only to beat him up was gold.
I lost track of what was happening at least 400 times during the match and I don't care. I was thoroughly entertained.
Dr. Britt Baker, DMD v. Toni Storm v. Saraya v. Hikaru Shida
I assumed Saraya was going to win as soon as I saw her come out to Queen with her entire goddamn family walking out.
Toni Storm is a beautiful disaster.
In the event that Saraya wouldn't be winning, I didn't want Britt to win.
But that's also primarily because I *wanted* Shida to retain. Also, I love that Shida's theme has big 90s X-Men vibes.
Shida in general is just great. She should win every match.
I also just had no real investment in Brit for this match. She just kinda felt like she could have been nearly any other woman from the women's division. She wasn't *bad* by any means, just not someone I was pulling for or against.
I'm curious to see what happens with this implosion of the Outcasts now that Saraya and Toni aren't on good terms.
I dislike Ronnie Radke musically and as a person, so I'm not really thrilled at the idea of hearing Saraya's music more now that she's the champ.
At the same time, given all the shit she's been through, I can't be too mad about them giving her a run.
I still want Shida to have an actual good, long run though. I love her matches.
Christian Cage & Swerve vs. Darby Allin and Sting
Schiavone shouting "IT'S STING" is one of my favorite things in wrestling.
Joker Sting is fun as hell.
Swerve is actually the coolest motherfucker on the entire roster, and it is a literal crime that he doesn't have a belt.
Christian Cage is a menace and I can't get over that he wrestles in a sleeveless turtleneck now.
Darby is here for a good time, not a long time.
Sting is SIXTY-FOUR GODDAMN YEARS OLD AND SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS STUFF.
Darby shouldn't either, but I'm fairly certain he's not even human anymore.
I love Swerve.
I also love Prince Nana.
Getting all of Wembly to shout "Swerve's house" probably felt cool.
This was fun as hell.
Will Ospreay vs Chris Jericho
bruv
Ospreay is so fucking good, dude. Like he's absolutely up there as one of the best to do this. Every match I've seen of his just blows me away.
Jericho is also absolutely one of the most versatile wrestlers of all time. I've seen this man reinvent himself like a dozen times, and every time feels just as natural as the one before it.
If they had Jericho win, there was going to be a riot.
Plz give me more Ospreay matches. Dude can fucking go.
I'm curious to know what happens with Jericho and Sammy now
House of Black vs The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn
HOB walking out with a lantern 😭
The Fireflies 😭
HOB looks so cool in white, holy shit.
I love Julia's hats.
I am not a cop, so obviously I love The Acclaimed.
Billy Gunn coming out in full-on Badd Ass Billy Gunn trunks made me feel like I was 12 again.
I love HOB, but if The Acclaimed didn't win this, after their whole mini arc of Gunn retiring, and Gunn bringing back BABG, I was gonna be mad.
Is there a rule that someone has to wreck Julia's shit every match, because lmao
A lot of fun.
Brody King scares the hell out of me.
Adam Cole vs. MJF
I went into this expecting heartbreak
Adam Cole, who took character inspiration from Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2, comes out sporting some definite Broderlands-vibe gear.
MJF is still wearing BTYBB gear.
MJF as this babyface-leaning thing is actually some of the greatest shit I've ever seen. The whole turmoil over using a weapon feels like Roddy Piper vs Bret Hart.
Cole being a desperate POS to the confused, hurt, and mad MJF was wonderful.
The tombstone onto the announce desk with metal reinforcement was brutal on my knees as a viewer.
lol Roddy. lmao.
MJF and Cole almost having a total falling out after the match was amazing.
Cole opting not to slam the AEW belt into MJF's head after the match, and they hug instead? Cinema.
Was I still deeply concerned that there was going to be a betrayal literally up until the PPV feed stopped? Oh hell yes. I watched Ciampa turn on Gargano after the little copyright stuff showed up in NXT. I will *still* be concerned about that until the moment it happens.
That said, I genuinely don't want it to happen because these dudes work so well together. They're just so fucking dorky in the best way.
Misc. Other Thoughts
I missed whatever happened with Miro and Hobbs, because I just missed the whole first hour of Zero Hour.
Apparently there was Drama involving Punk and Jack Perry-- I guess related to the use of actual glass in the windshield of the car that Hook and Perry wrestled on? Whatever. Punk isn't why I watch this stuff, but I would rather Perry not get screwed.
Why did they keep panning over to Mercedes Moné if she wasn't gonna do anything other than vibe to The Acclaimed's theme?
That being said, I was loving the wig she had on. I've been liking the shorter-cut wigs compared to the long-ass stuff she was wearing as Sasha Banks
A lot of people kept expecting Edge to show up at some point. I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that his contract was extended.
Overall, this was, in all honesty, probably the best wrestling PPV I've ever watched. And, thanks to the invention of VHS tapes in my youth and the WWE Network as an adult, I have seen a *lot* of PPVs. This felt bigger than any Wrestlemania I've watched. I can't compare it to Wrestle Kingdom because I've never actually seen one of those all the way through. But it had numerous people who have been in Wrestle Kingdom matches, which were great.
I'm just annoyed that All Out is next goddamn week, because I don't want to shell out $100 in two weeks for this stuff.
Regardless. I love wrestling. We are in one of the greatest eras of pro wrestling, if not *the* greatest. What a time to be a fan.

Here's my thoughts from tonight's dynamite
Hook vs Samoa Joe main event, ok I'm totally not nervous at all. This video package feels like it's a ppv. Ok but Hook's voice 😍 he needs to talk more. His slow walk oml.
Christian Cage vs Dustin Rhodes where did this match come from. I hate how Christian walks and I don't know why. Nick Wayne though 😍. Dustin's theme reminds of his Goldust theme. I honestly think Christian is going to win. Christian got yeeted over those steps oml. I feel like Dustin has been wrestling for 100 years, but I might actually cry when he retires. Hopefully he has a match for his retirement match. Not Nick trying to cheat. Yes Dustin, yambag jones, yambag city like Taz said. Dustin beat Nick's ass. Yess, get Nick out of here. (I love you Nick) Christian taking Adam's move 🫨 what did I say Christian was gonna win.
Who's house? Swerve's house! The way Swerve laughs is so weird to me. Renee looks sooooo pretty tonight. Did Swerve quote Harry Styles or am I going insane. Swerve's house!
Just looking at S🤮mmy passes me off. From what I've heard about Jericho recently I don't like him. A pizza cutter? Maybe he will cut your hair. Sydallllll!!!! Sydal beat Jericho before? Never knew that. At least we get to see Sydal.
Orange Cassidy and Trent with Chuck say whatttt... since when was he back. Hopefully OC and Trent win. Oh wait Penta and Komander... this match is gonna be a banger. Trust me I know bangers. Cero Miedo! I love that Rey's back too. Classic OC. I think my dogs like wrestling because whenever wrestling is on they have to wrestle to. They even do their own promos. Ok sorry back to the actual match. I hate picture in picture I get distracted by the commercials. So far I've been right about the winnings for 2 matches. Let's see how many more I can get. Bruh the undisputed kingdom can suck a fat one. Roddy shut the fuck up. Why are YOU trying to tell him what to do. Belongs to you? Bitch what? I agree with the other fans. OC another match?
Hangman you look different, did you dye your hair? Grow a mustache? Again Renee is sooo pretty. He doesn't think about Swerve? Yeah right. Hangman never threaten HOOK like that again.
This might make me cry. Rip Jay. Rest in Heaven. Poor Mark, he already looks emotional. #DemBoys period girl!! Good for you! The love Mark has for his niece is so cute. Now I'm gonna cry for real. The fact that Jay was a family man breaks my heart.
The bucks? What the hell happened to their faces. Nicholas and Matthew is crazyyyyy. Hypothetical he's using that word to much fr. Stiiiiiiiinnnnngggggggg. #changetheworld the shade towards cm punk is my favorite thing. Sweetheart is crazy.
Bullet club gold. Honestly I only like Jay. Mogul embassy? This match is gonna go crazy. I loveee Prince Nana. I think Toa missed. BCG won, knew that was gonna happen. We love Bowens btw. Scissor me Daddy Ass.
Wardlow? Adam Cole? Get off my screen sellouts.
Toni on commentary? Oml i love her but her gimmick gets irritating after awhile in my opinion. Deonna vs Anna? Deonna has to win. If I see anyone make comments about Deonna I will personally beat you the fuck up. What does virtuosa even mean? Yes Deonna as you should. Toni's faces are sooo funny bro. Poor Luther. Right in the what? Poor Taz. They must have been watching a telenovela. (I'm mexican I can make that joke)
Top Flight vs Private Party? I want Top Flight to win, butttt I think PP is going to win since Marq Quen is back. Idk I just hope both teams have fun. I loveeee PP's theme. Aww he gave away his durag. Same thing with TF's theme. I've been loving Darius' hair braided. What did Taz call them? I love when Zay does that little scream. Wasn't Darius on the ropes? Andretti? We love him too.
Hook vs Joe? Bae's gotta win this. Come on Hook. Hook looks so majestic. I'm gonna cry my poor Hookie. Joe you didn't have to actually have to kill him.

Dax Harwood's podcast seems to have set off more discourse about the CM Punk/AEW situation, so what the hell, I'll weigh in.
I would like to find an angle on this where Punk is at least partially in the right, and someday everybody can work together again. But it's been almost four months since the fight and I have yet to see a coherent pro-Punk narrative. The closest I've seen is the insinuation that "the dirtsheets" are in the tank for the Elite, which is like saying "fake news" and thinking that settles anything. Everything we know about the September 4 fight comes from "the dirtsheets" or people who take them at face value. To dismiss all of that amounts to denying that the fight actually occurred in the first place.
By all accounts, the Elite brought AEW's chief legal officer, Megha Parekh, with them to Punk's locker room. I don't think they'd do that if they were planning to kick in the door or get in a fight. By all accounts MJF was also present when the fight started. So both Parekh and MJF would have been questioned in the independent investigation. I realize it's tempting to imagine some nebulous group of "Punk's enemies" or "Elite sycophants" engaging in a cover-up or smear campaign. But that falls apart once you specifically consider that both Parekh and MJF would have to lie--on the record--to make it work. I don't think either of them is stupid enough to do that over something so petty.
So the simplest explanation is that the fight really happened, that Punk struck first, and a good chunk of the locker room is wary of working with him. After that, it no longer matters if Punk was right about Colt Cabana or Hangman Page, or anything he said in the scrum. It doesn't even matter that I like Punk and wish he could come back like nothing happened. All that matters is whether Punk can repair his relationship with the wrestlers. That's on him, whether it's fair or not.
It's becoming more and more fashionable for pundits and insiders to express hope that Punk and the Elite can put their differences aside to make a lot of money together. I wouldn't be opposed to it. But it took 12 years to get from the Montreal Screwjob to Bret vs. Vince at Wrestlemania, and it wasn't worth the wait. Just because you can fantasy book it in your head doesn't mean anyone can get it off the ground.

I agree with all your points and I honestly think Tony needs someone to come in who's not scared to piss off the talent like he seems to be. WWE does what's best for WWE as a brand not what's best for the individual because they know that person could leave and they'd be screwed, AEW is too tied up in trying to keep people happy and I'm sorry to say it but the bucks and the hold they've had on AEW has not been good for their business and Tony needs to man up and start making the best decisions for AEW before he doesn't have an AEW to make decisions for.
I will say in defence of Punk (and it physically hurts me to do so cos I've never been a fan of his, his ego in the summer of punk was insane) but he was not right for AEW, the likes of The Bucks and Adam amd Kenny didn't like that a huge star was there when they'd been trying to create their own legacies and listen I get it they wanted AEW to be the home of the little man paving his own way and here comes this huge name getting all the attention and they didn't like it, I get it, but that's them not thinking about what's best for AEW and thinking about themselves. Punk could and was a huge draw for AEW and its a shame that they all couldn't put egos aside for the love of the business.
If AEW is reportedly heading in a more NJPW style of presentation in the new year, I think that would be a perfect way to restructure wjat happens backstage as well. I also hope that by a NJPW style, they mean more of a return to wrestling being the storyline driver rather than just a complete removal of storylines altogether. I was a touch concerned when I read that cause I wonder where people like Max fit into that.
I agree to an extent about the bucks and omega, I genuinely don't like the bucks all that much, something about them has always rubbed me the wrong way and I don't think they have great attitudes for leadership. I like Kenny alot but I think much the same, they had an dream and enough power to see it become a reality and they should always have some say on AEW because it does exist without them but I was glad when it got reported on at the start of the year that their backstage input would be significantly reduced. It's a slippery slope between wanting what's best and being the nwo lol. Having said that though, I understand their vision completely and I totally get why they are so protective of it.
As for Hangman, idk, I think he got dragged into alot of stupid shit because of the whole advice thing and then who his friends are but honestly I think he might genuinely be the only person whose more innocent than guilty in the whole situation.
Punk was always going to fail, and I agree with you to an extent that he was kinda doomed, but I also think there was so much he could've done differently. They all let their ego's lead when they all could've actually worked together to make AEW greater and it sucks we won't what that could've looked like.
(It's also sucks that when we get Max vs Punk II it's gonna be in wwe and it's gonna SUCKKKKKK and we're gonna have to watch all the wwe shills think it's the greatest thing they've ever seen lmao)

Reviewing the All Elite Wrestling personnel 2023 Edition (Part 4) -
The Best Matches of AEW in 2023
No particular order to these I'm just trying to remind myself AEW has good matches.
MJF Vs Bryan Danielson at Revolution 2023 (March 5th)
The Main Event and an Iron-Man classic. Perhaps surpasses even Bret and Shawn, this confirmed beyond any shadow of doubt why MJF is the headliner and the only true star under 30 years old in the entire business. His already veteran proficiency to adapt and tell a story with one of the all-time greats in Danielson is a testament to how much greater he'll get in the upcoming years. Go watch it.
FTR vs Bullet Club Gold 2/3 Falls at AEW Collision (July 15th)
I could also include their first encounter or even before with Punk Vs Samoa Joe included but this was the payoff to a simple story of two challengers who got everything out of the greatest tag team in the world. Incredible pacing and supreme result.
Kenny Omega Vs Will Ospreay AEW Forbidden Door (June 25th)
Highly regarded as a classic, this shows Kenny Omega is still a major draw and Will Ospreay is an insane person. I really don't have much more to say other than it's brutal to watch and, unlike Moxley Vs Hangman, worth your time to appreciate wrestlers putting their bodies on the line and not taking shortcuts.
Jamie Hayter Vs Riho at AEW Dynamite (April 5th)
Criminally underrated (because they're women of course), this was one of the defining reasons why Jamie Hayter is so sorely missed. Both had incredible chemistry and made each other look like stars. The Women's Division has been slaughtered without these two maintaining it.
Konosuke Takeshita Vs Bandido at AEW Rampage (June 16th)
Another very overlooked, underrated, contest between two of the guys I've said to push this year. The dynamic of contrasting styles yet blending a variety of high-flying offense with power moves means a longer match to pace out and make them both steal a show someday should be thought upon for next year.
Other matches I feel are worth going out of your way to enjoy would be Mark Briscoe Vs Jay Lethal for the sentimental value as it is a tribute match to the tragic passing of Jay Briscoe. CM Punk Vs Ricky Starks at the end of the 2nd Owen Hart Cup to tell a story and give Ricky Starks his most notable win to date. Kris Statlander Vs Julia Hart at WrestleDream which just happened but shows Julia is going to be a big star. The Gunns Vs FTR which again showcases FTR as the all-time greatest tag-team working today. Finally MJF Vs Adam Cole at All In for once again proving MJF is a masterful talent who can get the best out of anyone.

I’m not against Adam squared. That would work too. Though I kind hope we see more of max and chugs. I actually kind of want them to beat ftr. They can lose at maybe all in and have a short run. It could also play into max vs punk if they go that route with chugs backing max and ftr backing punk. They could also put the titles on bcg which could make an interesting match up with chugs and jay. Hell put chugs and Adam in dark order. The dark order loves both adams!
they sure do they surely do!!!!! imagining cole going full on heel again and him and hangman being like. mom and mom to the dark order. the BTE bits are the dark order going to cole like “mom can we go get ice cream” and he’s like NO CANT YOU SEE IM BUSY TAKING OVER THE WORLD and so they go to momma hangy instead and he’s like “shhh of course we can go get some ice cream we’ll just go when momma cole is busy in her lair of doom plotting out her next act of revenge” in the most affectionate voice hangman can muster bc he loves his wife

AEW ALL OUT AND ZERO HOUR 9-3-23
-SCORPIO SKY'S BACK
-HANGMAN WIN. Guess the person in the front flipping him off is a Punk fan huh
-WOMEN. I love them all. And aww, Billie wearing the minion shirt a fan gave her yesterday!
-oh lord this is already corny as hell and I love it
-can we please trade Kevin Kelly for Taz
-Dark Order vs Budge, you hate to see it 😭
-oh please give us MJF vs Joe, not only because it would be cool but because of That Gif You Know The One. WE NEED CLOSURE.
-I honestly hope Luchasaurus retains because a) Heel Christian is comedic perfection and b) I need a Darth Vader vs Palpatine encounter as the end to this story
-I don't know if trading JR for Kevin Kelly is an upgrade or downgrade.
-MEATY MEN
-the meat chants may be my favorite thing tonight so far
-petition for "Holy Meat" to be Miro and Hobbs' tag team name
-y'all know what this mean? A Barden Bella is All Elite!
-RUBY AND KRIS LET'S FUCKING GO
-oh my god she's dressed as zoolander
-here for face Gloria Swanson. I mean, Toni Storm.
-THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
-ricky don't do that he likes it
-that fucked on all levels
-EDDIE TIME
-oh shit I get my wish re: Taz
-seriously though am I crazy or does Yuta have a very short buttcrack
-i'm gonna cry when Eddie finally beats Claudio
-that throwback gear for Kenny!!!
-kinda sad that he's not showing a little leg though
-aaa Eddie's slightly too late kickout because he's almost to the point of beating Claudio and Kenny's slightly too late kickout because he was just barely not good enough 😭
-trash boy fight time! Also FTR is there.
-Orange vs Mox time and I have anxiety
-the fact that Orange has gained Mox's respect makes me want to cry
-BEST FRIENDS AND KRIS ACCOMPANYING ORANGE
-Orange being covered in blood while Mox is only covered in Orange's blood and then resorting to some of Mox's signature bites and scratches >>>>>
-Orange ramping up the little kicks to full in rage stomps was amazing
-my heart's broken but what a fuck of an end to a run

can't believe i feel compelled to 'defend' wwe but i have thoughts about people comparing hangman vs swerve to drew vs punk. besides the obvious fact that they're two different feuds and there are different ways to tell a good story, i think aew has kind of distorted people's perceptions of what a good wrestling storyline should be. hell, it's happened to me too. i think drew vs punk could've been better so far, especially the matches, but it's also been my favourite wwe storyline in a long time and i think there's worth to the more subtle, pg-friendly way of telling stories they've been doing (even though we know they've been slowly moving away from that). yeah, it's not always good and it doesn't always work out but you don't need blood and swearing and weapons and extreme violence and burning people's houses down to make a good wrestling feud. you just need good writing. rock vs cody had blood and swearing and it wasn't good because the writing made no sense and rock was a pretty bad, unbelievable character. drew vs punk has been a clear, logical storyline the whole time. yeah even the bracelet. why is it so easy to understand swerve's anguish at seeing his childhood home being destroyed but not punk's rage at seeing drew violate an object that's a symbol of his love for his family? because it's less shocking and in your face? because a bracelet monetarily has way less value than a house so it's hard for you personally to relate? it's not about the bracelet just like it's not actually about the house, it's what they represent. drew vs punk actually feels more personal and nuanced than swerve vs hangman because of their past working relationship. swerve vs hangman is more about pure, unbridled hate. not that that means it's worse because again, two different stories doing two different things. not every feud needs to follow the same formula to be good. everyone has their own tastes, sure, but sometimes wrestling should be allowed to be quieter and more measured and more creative and specific instead of just gory violence or fiery, destructive spectacles.

MJF vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi (AEW Men's World Title Match): Want: Tana - LET'S GO TANAAAAAAA TEACH THAT BOI A LESSON Prediction: MJF - MJF is not going to suddenly lose the title to Tana. As much as it would be fab, it would also be very counterproductive to the story he's on.

Like I'm leaning Elite Plus Eddie and Ishii, but like. I love them all? I want Elite and Co to win. CM Punk vs. Satoshi Kojima (Men's Owen Hart Tourney Match): Want: Kojima - Uh. I don't really know Kojima, but I'm not very fond of Punk atm so. Kojima. Prediction: Punk - Punk is definitely winning this.
Orange Cassidy vs. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Daniel Garcia (AEW International Title Match): Want: OC - This is a match full of so much amazing awesome ahhhhh but I want OC to retain. Prediction: OC - OC?
Toni Storm vs. Willow Nightingale (AEW Women's World Title Match): Want: Willow - THAT'S MY GIRILE!!! Toni is fab, don't get me wrong, but I am all about the Girl With the Power Prediction: Toni - her title is on the line, and I don't expect her to drop it yet. Especially when there's a chance Hayter could recover in time to win it back at All In.
