AN: I finished the main story some time ago (I'll upload it on here soon, feel free to read it here in the meantime!) and I've been meaning to do these drabbles+moodboards ever since... so why not use the members' birthdays as an opportunity to finally make it happen? ⸜( *ˊᵕˋ* )⸝♡

Kyungsoo had, for as long as he could remember, only needed to touch a seed to make it sprout. Green fingers, many said whilst laughing uncertainly, but he always knew there was more to it than that, so when his parents had died and been buried in the soil he loved it had been easy to leave the village behind. 

He tried to tell himself that he didn't feel lonely, but he was. Despite the flowers defying the winter cold for his sake and despite the trees whispering their secrets to him, he was all alone, and it pained him.

And so the ground continued to bloom under his hands, but his heart remained empty.

One day a boy arrived, a boy who called for help from a small boat carried by the nearby river, and Kyungsoo was quick to run down and take his hand. On land, the sight of the boy's grateful smile had Kyungsoo pulling him into his garden without a second thought.

The boy - Junmyeon - adored it, and Kyungsoo adored him. He adored him to the point that he couldn't stand the thought of him leaving, and it was with apologetic movements he asked the white flowers to rest beneath the topsoil.

Just until Junmyeon forgot, he told them.

Just until Junmyeon stayed.

He hadn’t been prepared for someone else being able to manipulate nature, and seeing Junmyeon’s tears made both his heart and the earth ache, the white flowers coming back along with the memories he’d tried to suppress.

Now Kyungsoo was alone again, but his new friend had left him with the promise of returning, so he clutched his chest as a smile on his lips and a seed inside his heart slowly started to grow.

slow down for your disabled friends. thats like a bare minimum kindness that we shouldnt have to ask for. i love that youre so quirky and walking fast is a cool personality trait to you and all that but i bet you can count your physically disabled friends on less than one hand

was thinking about that one blind professor post earlier today and how well it applied to the aptly named Team Dark

so once me and my wife were watching a documentary where a snake ate like a million eggs. that snake just went to fucking town on eggs. and the snake made the eggs look so good that i kept thinking about it, and thinking about it, and thinking about it, and eventually it was 11pm and i ran out of willpower and decided to eat one (1) singular raw egg just to prove to myself that the snake was surely a liar.

the snake was not a liar. texture is like, super important to me and raw eggs are very Texture so i had another one, and then another one, and then another one, and eventually i ran out of eggs.

i had like, fifteen raw eggs.

i didnt really know how to explain this momentary madness to my wife, so my Plan was to put all the eggshells into a grocey bag, and then throw that grocery bag in the dumpster, and if she never noticed that would be Excellent and if she noticed immediately i could lie and say that the eggs went bad.

except i cant lie very good, and of course with murphys law being such, i got salmonella.

so i threw up a lot and my wife asked me what poisoned me so and i tried very hard to dodge the question but i was oozing shame like oil from a room temperature cheese and eventaully i gave in and told her everything and to her enormous credit she was more flabbergasted than actually upset. she did make me promise to not eat any more raw eggs, which i have stuck to, and she gives me weird looks during nature documentaries now as if desire was the only thing keeping me from eating thousands of pounds of krill anyway i made a joke earlier about being able to eat my age in eggs and my sister in law in law made a drawing to comemorate the moment and also because it was my birthday. she's excellent. thank you 10000000% @cintailed. you should all visit her page and admire her work.

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.
